Upstairs system is a 5 ton gas furnace, with 3 zones installed. Melted wire on capacitor and windings on compressor are testing on border of fair/bad. Although system was able to be repaired and running. Repair is temporary and due to damages compressor is showing signs of failure and will not operate soon. It is not possible to predict how long system will go before failure but the wear and damage is significant. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system,

Arrived at the home due to a oven not working, we perform a troubleshoot on it, and determined that the cause of the issue was a melted connection inside of the junction box behind oven, we found a red wire nut style connector that had burned and melted, this wire nuts are not rated for the amount of current an oven draws. To resolved this we installed Polaris style connectors and replaced the box in order to accommodate new connections, we tested the unit and everything was working at departure time. We also found a Sycom surge protector inside of panel which we removed at no cost due to it being a fire hazard. We will replaced with a new Eaton surge protector on april 27th after 3 pm along with relabeling the panel.

Customer has 1 y/o Lennox furnace matched with 15 y/o Trane AC that operates for upper level. System was not cooling due to failed dual capacitor caused by dirty condenser coils. Replaced with turbo capacitor. Performed condenser coil cleaning for main and upper levels. Replaced two 16x25x1 filters. Other condenser electrical components are in fair condition. Recommend water protection upgrade for upper level. Systems are currently working.
Today we addressed an issue with the first-floor half bathroom toilet that had been running continuously. The homeowner had previously shut off the water supply to prevent further water loss. Upon inspection, the toilet was found to be original to the home. When the water was turned back on, the fill valve failed to properly shut off once the tank reached its set level. Further evaluation revealed that the flush valve gasket and tank-to-bowl gasket were both deteriorated and contributing to the malfunction. Additionally, the existing supply stop was original and restricting water flow. I reviewed these findings with the homeowner, and she elected to move forward with a complete toilet tank rebuild along with replacement of the supply stop. After completing the repairs, the system was fully tested and inspected. All components are now functioning properly with no leaks present. The homes water pressure was also tested and is holding steady at 65 psi at this time.

Everyone I interacted with at TE was professional, customer-oriented, and honest. Mauricio and Chris—the two electricians who helped rewire my kitchen—did a phenomenal job. They walked me through the entire process, consulted with me on key decisions, and were genuinely great to work with. Mauricio is the kind of guy you could sit down and have a beer with. Together, he and Chris are true professionals who make TE look great and serve as fantastic ambassadors for the company. I was very impressed
