Job Locations and Reviews
Arrived on site for a leak repair. We found the suction line service port was leaking and was the cause for the system being unable to cool. We arrived with parts and began by recovering all refrigerant, cutting out the old filter drier, brazing in the new drier while flowing nitrogen and repairing the failed service valve. We then pressure tested with 390psi of nitrogen and it held for 30 minutes. After we confirms the system was free of any leaks I put the system into a deep vacuum for about an hour and it pulled down to 350 microns. Decay test passed and we charged the unit with just under 10 lbs of r410a refrigerant and tested the system for half an hour. Pressures were great and we collected a 21 degree temp split (74-53), dropping the indoor temp from 74 to 72. Payment was collected via credit card. System fully operational upon departure, call complete.
Copper water line repair in basement/mechanical room (3/4 inch copper)
Ceiling fan is now working properly, light comes on but blades do not spin. Upon investigation, I discovered the switch leg to the fan was loosely connected, I tightened down the connection and tested everything after that, everything works. Quotes left for surge protector and potentially replacing their challenger panel. Customer was educated on their challenger panel, client stated she’ll discuss this information with her spouse and get back to us.

Called TEc around 8:30 this morning and was told they would send a team out to fix our air conditioner from 2:00 to 5:00. The same day!! Marvin Arrived around 3:30 (very professional) and left around 5:30. The air conditioner is blowing cold air. We’re happy campers!
SERVICE CALL: Upon arrival homeowner stated the hvac system is not Working on cooling mode. After complete troubleshooting I found the Safety wet switch at metal drain pan was open and cuts off the system. After reset safety switch test drain line with 2 gallons of water test zone controls check indoor evaporator coil and test outdoor 4 ton system Lennox Check refrigerant charge pressures are ok at manufacture specifications. Reset safety test cooling mode is ok at this moment. Thanks for choosing te certified.
For this job I came to a call in which a tech was previously at. Once I arrived, I fully tested the system and noticed that it was extremely low on refrigerant. I proceeded to do a leak search with my detector and only picked up a leak in the Schrader valve outside. I inspected both coils and I was only getting hit on the schrader. I explained to the customer that the system is 16 years old, very low on refrigerant and extremely low on return ( roughly 2.5 ton ). I explained that I can provide an estimate to replace the Schrader core and add 4 pounds of refrigerant, but I highly suggest the customer looks into replacing the system due to the cost of the repair and the fact that there would be no warranty on this refrigerant add on. The customer is fully aware and just wanted to go with the Band-Aid repair of adding refrigerant. I proceeded to remove both Schrader core valves and add 4 pounds of refrigerant. I tested the unit and everything was cooling, but it is important to know that
A neighbor recently lost their house from overheated lithium batteries charging overnight in the garage. We called TE to install a heat detector as one step toward mitigating this. To do this it has to be wired into the other smoke detectors. Mauricio and Edwin did a very nice job locating the unit and wiring it with minimal drywall invasion. We also had another outlet placed in the garage. Very pleased with their work, as well as their friendly and professional approach. We will call TE again when need arises.

Today we performed maintenance on the home’s two tankless water heaters located in the crawl space. Both units were flushed to remove mineral buildup and the inlet water filters were cleaned. After completing the maintenance, I ran multiple fixtures throughout the home to purge any air from the plumbing system and verified proper operation of both water heaters. At this time, both units are functioning properly and producing hot water as designed. All work has been completed and tested.
Perform two system HVAC inspection. Both pieces of equipment were manufactured in 2010. Some pieces like the evaporator coil for the upstairs manufacturing in 2009. Found numerous code violations, install methods were impractical. Gas line is blocking the furnace for the main floor from being serviced. Flue pipe single wall for both units. Blue pipe runs horizontal for main floor. Strongly suggested system replacement due to lower refrigerant and age of equipment. Explain the lack of efficiency and the fact that both systems are out of warranty. Homeowner is expecting two or three more years out of existing equipment. I explained to her that is asking a lot from the condition of the equipment and my professional opinion.
This option would include bypassing the timer on the attic fan that is having issues with burning out, and running a new conductor from the first timer switch on the attic fan that does work to the second one so that they work in tandem and will turn on and off at the same time, extending the life of both fans and cooling the attic faster. This option also includes fixing the open splice in the attic.
Replaced old breaker that would not reset for customer. After replacing, the new breaker held and all worked as normal.
Full system, return, flue pipe
Dig down 4” in backyard to repair the 4” pvc sewer line that has become separated and has a tree root intrusion. Repair with schedule 40 solid core pvc. Rework vent for water heaters and replace with new B-vent double wall vents.
Troubleshot “wire” popping out next to the toilet on the upstairs floor. Mushrooms were growing out of the grout in the toilet and spread black pores that appeared to be scorch marks. I cut a 2 gang hole in the bathroom below to check inside the walls and make sure no wires were damaged and no fungus was growing. I checked and there was nothing of any concern or anything electrical at all. I also installed a new surge protector, two new ceiling fans, and 3 new hanging fixtures in the home.

Customer has 27 y/o Comfortmaker furnace matched with 4 y/o Lennox AC that operates for upper level. System was not cooling due to failed dual capacitor. Replaced 45/5 MFD capacitor. Noticed condenser coils were dirty. Performed condenser coil cleaning for main and upper levels. Replaced 1-pole contactor for main level system. Replaced two 16x25x1 filters. Blower wheel cleaning needed for both systems. Recommend water protection upgrade for both systems. Informed customer of all findings. System is currently working. Recommend HomeCare Program for regular maintenance.
