Customer had smoke alarm, set off and called service to check out furnace. On inspection scope found separation in heat exchanger pictures attached to file. System had been off when arrived. CO detector testing at zero in the house started furnace and tested video showing flame rolled out and after consistent running CO detector was reading 2PPM after about 10 to 15 minutes. Some windows were open in the house, providing some ventilation to reduce overall CO levels. System should not be run and upgrade necessary as repair is not a viable option.

No heat call. Upon arrival, main floor heat pump was short cycling on high head pressure. System was recently worked on by a different company. After checking everything, I recovered 3.5 lbs of R410a and the heat pump is heating well. Also recommended homecare, replacing run capacitor, cleaning blower wheel, and drain safeties.

Kris was excellent! Kris explained our options and was easy to understand. He went for the part and installed it speedy quick! Kris also checked our water pressure and water heater which had been installed previously by a qualified TE technical team. I've been with another company for a few years for plumbing and our Hvac, but wasn't satisfied with their techs or prices. I was very pleased a with the install of our water heater and the latest job on our toilet so, we're going to move our Hvac maintenance to TE as well. TE is honest, fast, and doesnt gouge their customers. This has made me a loyal customer for our needs in the future. I highly recommend TE for our needs in servicing my home!

Remove section of flooring and concrete slab to access PVC drain for toilet line for replacement due to belly in line. Replace with schedule 40 solid core PVC. Once repaired, pour back concrete to rough grade. Install Kohler pressure assisted toilet with slow close seat. TE Certified is not responsible for repairs or replacement of flooring itself.

Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. Found water inside air handler unit, clogged drain, failed circuit board, bad breaker, water in plenum, water leaking from plenum, dirty blower wheel, growth in all interior of air handler. Found outside unit with faulty capacitor and contactor. System is currently not working with power off at the panel box.
