Today when I arrived the 20 amp CH fault breaker for the microwave was showing the diagnostic code indicating that the breaker needed to be replaced. I replaced the breaker with a new dual function breaker, and that all of the breakers in the panel are generation two CH and will likely need to be replaced. I left the customer an estimate to replace the rest of them.

Diagnostic Price quote to replace capacitor and contactor on main level system. Performed inspection on main level system. Furnace and coil upstairs are in pretty good condition. This is a 2019 carrier furnace and AC system. There is minimal flood protection on the system. Recommend adding a wet switch. A clogged drain could lead to thousands in ceiling damage. A wet switch will turn the system off with a quarter of an inch of water in the pan. The current set up will take an inch to an inch and a half of water to turn off system and drain pans are not always sealed. Upon inspection of outdoor equipment found system calling, but not running. Removed cover and it was obvious capacitor has failed. Contactor was also buzzing. Installed a temp capacitor to test and compressor did come on and pressure. Looks OK. Took this information to homeowner and she approved replacement of capacitor and contactor on main level system. Provide and install generator inlet on main disconnect side of home and setup for 30a generator.

Checked filters. Cleaned drain. Checked all operations. Coils and blower wheel needs to be cleaned. Duct work is in very pour condition and needs to be replaced, not repaired. Home owner is going to patch duct work himself until he can get ductwork replaced.

We were called out to this location for a shower drain draining slower than normal. Upon inspection of the shower drain fecal matter came up through the shower drain. The customer decided based on the options we gave her that trying the tub gun first in the overflow hole would be sufficient. It was unsuccessful at clearing the blockage. We then decided to use the cable machine and pull the toilet. Upon pulling of the toilet I noticed the shut off valve dripping and a shark bite was added to the valve previously. We used the cable machine and cleared the blockage. After blockage was cleared we tested the shower and the toilet. Toilet reset and not caulked. Sewer supervisor visit scheduled.

While inspecting the unit I discovered the indoor capacitor had popped its seal and was leaking oil. I also noticed significant amounts of Biological growth and bacteria inside the unit. Once outside I noticed the outdoor coil is extremely dirty, this stops airflow and can cause serious stress on the components during the summer heat. Also noticed the contactor is chattering (buzzing) extremely bad this is a sign of low health on this component. Finally I checked the outdoor capacitor which was almost completely dead on the compressor side (rated for 45 reading 3) this was the baseline symptom of today’s system failure, but the cause of this symptom was due to lack of overtime upkeep, once we address these concerns noted the system will have the highest chance to prolong life. Customer signed up for homecare.

Customer had pinhole leak on water service line between meter and house. Customer dug up the line and stated they also will backfill. Cut out failed section of pipe and replaced with a band aid repair. Explained to customer that due to the age of the service line and the fact that it was a pinhole leak that it is recommended to replace water service with a new one. Customer decided to perform band aid repair to fix leak and be able to turn water back on to the house. No warranty on repair due to age of pipe material and nature of repair being a band aid solution As stated, customer will back fill hole themselves. Today we came out for system leaking water 2019 icp 3 ton heat pump split. Cycled equipment from thermostat found impacted condenser coil, dirty air filter and no flood protection. Recommend converting to a package unit system and replacing filter every month left option to clean evaporator coil and pumping system down left equipment operational.

We did a Redevice on the customers home.

Just wrapped up installing APCO-X UV air purification system in existing Carrier HVAC. System needed minimal duct modification. UV light positioned for maximum exposure to coil surface. Connected to 24V power supply with safety cutoff. This'll kill 99% of mold/bacteria on coils & improve IAQ significantly. Homeowner reported allergies & musty smell - this should help tremendously! Replaced air filter while there (was pretty dirty). Set reminder for UV bulb replacement in 2 yrs. Quick, clean job.

Only system , 3 zones, not cooling. System is low on Freon and found a leak in the evaporator coil (possible other leaks). System is 10 years old (heat pump)and it’s out of warranty. Gave price to replace evaporator coil, but, at this age and conditions, best option would be to upgrade the system, and bring comfort, warranty and efficiency back to the house. Also, compressor is making very loud noise and possible compromise.

Replaced approximately 20 foot of interior main water service line, in order to raise waterline above joists. Technician also replaced emergency water shut off valve and pressure reducing valve. Water was restored to the home and air bled from the system. New water pressure to the home was checked and set to 65 psi. All work completed was checked for leaks and proper functionality. Work area thoroughly cleaned up. Technician noticed water heater to be 28 years old!! Technician notified customer that it is highly recommended to replace this unit, and also bring new unit up to current code requirements.
