TE certified came out today and performed a diagnostic task on a tankless water heater to see why the unit was tripping occasionally TE was able to determine the cause of the problem and also presented options to the customer for a replacement unit. The customer went ahead and moved forward with an estimate for a replacement unit. TE will need to return to perform the scale of work previously quoted.

Responded today to a reported high water bill. We shut off the main water valve in the crawl space and inspected the water meter. The meter display was blank, and although water could be heard passing through, no reading was available. This prevented us from completing a meter-based leak assessment. We inspected the toilets and faucets throughout the home and found no active leaks at the time of the visit. Water pressure measured 98 psi, and we discussed concerns regarding the elevated pressure and potential strain on the plumbing system. We also found a 13-year-old water heater and discussed its age, increased risk of failure, and replacement recommendation. All findings and recommendations were reviewed with the customer. She plans to proceed with the recommended work at a later date.

System is ten years old r410a, No te flood protection, flue pipe in poor condition. Duct work in poor condition. Growth in the blower wheel dirty blower wheel, water was once at the bottom of the unit with rust in the system no filter. Outdoor condenser coil was dirty and compacted, capacitor is out of tolerance, disconnect has burn marks through it, customer states house regularly gets power outages. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

The customer had a leak on the hot water shut off valve in the kitchen. The customer also wanted to replace the kitchen sink faucet. The technician replaced the faucet and added a new water stop. Water is in and everything tested okay. The technician also performed a full plumbing inspection on the whole house plumbing system. Everything looks good. I did see some issues on the basket strainer connected to the garbage disposal please see estimates for repair options.

For this job i ran a diagnostic test on the water heater to see what was causing the issue and we found that the elements on the electric water heater tripped we reset the water heater and found no further issues

Arrived to home to evaluate sewer after clearing attempt. Sent camera down and wasn’t able to anything due to line being full of water and I couldn’t pass a certain spot due to compromised section. Located and recommended a spot repair.

Replace shower valve for customer and remove tile and cement board

SERVICE CALL: upon arrival homeowner stated the hvac system in the basement is leaking water. After complete troubleshooting I found the HVAC system Goodman 4 ton drive 15 years old is in poor maintenance conditions main drain line is stopped up the evaporator coil is rusted out The blower motor run capacitor is out of spec from manufacture and The blower wheel is highly impacted and NO T E FLOOD PROTECTION Homeowner approved minimum repairs clean and repair main drain line Install new run capacitor 20.0 uf plus install new safety wet switch Test cooling mode check refrigerant charge pressures are slightly low Check condenser coil is highly impacted perform courtesy leak search and I found indoor aluminum evaporator coil is leaking refrigerant Test. Complete system is 2011 model about 15 years old DUE TO AGED AND CONDITIONS RECOMMEND TO UPGRADE COMPLETE SYSTEM. CUSTOMER DECLINED ANY CONSULTATION AT THIS MOMENT. Performed HomeCare routine maintenance inspection on 7 y/o Carrier system that operates for whole house. Checked amp draws. Cleaned flame sensors. Cleared pressure switch tubing. Customer will replaced 16x25x4 media filter. Replaced humidifier pad. Blower wheel cleaning needed. Recommend wet switch for water protection upgrade. Recommend Apco Ultra for advanced air purification. Pressure levels were normal. Condenser electrical components are good. Condenser coil cleaning needed. Informed customer of all findings. System is currently working.

Supply and replace disposal with 3/4 unit Customer called us out for a garbage disposal that was not turning over. Upon arrival we checked breaker, there was not breaker that was tripped. Reset button was off. Customer went with option to replace 14+ year old disposal. Replaced with a 3/4 disposal. Secured disposal, and tested for power/ leaks. Replacement successful. System diagnostic for main level. System was from due to restriction in Evaporator coil. Refrigerant pressure was not equalizing after being turned off. Not TE standard flood protections there is no drain pan as well unit drains into hub located on the floor for the basement. Compressor drawing high amps, dual capacitor was reading below its rating. Evap coil was smaller than the cabinet itself and the door was fabricated to cover but was the incorrect door. Evap coil is available but the ETA is 5-7 days. Recommend: Quote for a new system.

Customer called us out for a washer machine backup in the basement. Washer drain line goes into cast iron. Used flexshaft to restore flow and let customer know that cast iron will likely backup again until it is replaced.

Dead leak search for customer

Dug up front lawn and attempted to cap off section of pvc irrigation water line. Leak appears to coming from further down the line possibly underneath driveway. Left client with quote to replace waterline with new due to a mixture of pvc, poly, and other unknown material underground which includes an unused irrigation system. Client will contact leak detection company and or county before moving forward with a new waterline.

I performed a troubleshoot on flickering lights and voltage spiking when the microwave is turned on. I checked connections at the meter and panel and while the lugs were all tight in the meter side, the panel has one of its main legs loose and I was able to retorque it multiple turns. I tried to replicate the voltage shifting by running the microwave and oven and didn’t see any spikes in voltage. Everything worked fine. I left multiple estimates to add a doorbell, fix ungrounded wiring upstairs and two ungrounded circuits, as well as to perform a service upgrade.
