Customer has two 20 y/o Goodman systems that operate for main and upper levels. Upper level system has failed compressor for R22 system. Main level system has R22 refrigerant leak. Both furnaces are very rusted. Evaporator coils are also rusted. Poor water protection for both systems. Main level has bad blower motor. Informed customer of all findings. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

For this job, we worked on troubleshooting the rear outdoor outlet and replaced with a new one with a new cover.

Redevice

Replace 2x ceiling fans and light fixture

Dug up front lawn to expose main service waterline. Replaced section of 1” PE pipe with new pipe thru foundation wall. Protected pipe with pvc sleeve. Sealed penetration with hydraulic cement and tar. Tested all work for proper operations and leaks. Back filled front lawn to rough grade. Replaced kitchen sink basket strainer with new as a courtesy.

I performed a troubleshot on a tripping master bathroom circuit. I found multiple devices that were backstabbed, broken, and falling apart. I also found that the wiring in the master closet lights were snapped and arcing. We replaced the two closet lights, replaced the breaker for a new DF 15 amp breaker, Redeviced the switches in the master bathroom, and installed surge protection at the main panel.

RETURN VISIT: Complete minor repairs for first floor hvac systems Goodman removed and clean blower motor blower wheel and metal Housing plus install new Run capacitor 20.00 uf for blower motor Plus add 2 T E FLOOD PROTECTION PACKAGE one ss2 safety switch And one wet switch at metal drain pan test motor and safety’s are ok For outdoor condenser unit clean condenser coil with chemical plus remove All debris inside the condenser test system is working ok at this moment This unit was hit by a tree and has metal damage at the condenser Unit. Inspected area were leak may have been. Dug back about 4’ found were leak was on old blue poly pinhole leak on main service line and repaired with 2 1” pex couplings and piece of 1” HDPE polyethylene. Connections to older blue poly is not warranties by TE Certified. Recomend the main line to be replaced. Cut out damaged section repairs made, pressurized line, tested . No leaks

Leaking flapper replacement.

Bore a new water service line from the water meter to the garage. Will use a horizontal drilling machine to bore new line underneath driveway and garage. Cut small hole in garage floor to bring new water line through. Tie new water line back into existing pipe behind water heater. Pour back concrete in garage. Replace main shut off valve and pressure regulator valve Bore new water service line and jack hammered garage floor to bring new service line through floor.Tied new water line into the existing pipe with new main shutoff and PRV.Poured concrete back and back filled holes outside.

Did leak search for customer found it’s not on the plumbing on foundation

Installed evaporator coil. Pressure tested and pulled complete vacuum. Performed blower wheel cleaning. Replaced 15 MFD capacitor. Repaired drain line for proper pitch. Pressure levels are normal. System is currently working.

Came in today because system was not cooling properly. When testing system found leak in evaporator coil and boil growth causing system to over work and putting a lot of restraint in compressor. Let costumer know about this issues and presented options. Costumer has other company companies coming tomorrow to give him estimates and would let us know if decides to proceed with repairs. On this visit I replaced the pool sub panel -installed new 30 amp circuit from junction box outside of house with conduit to pool panel, and installed a new GFCI breaker for pool lights as well as for pool pump.
