Arrived back to customers home he had gas supply pressure adjusted still having the same issue. Gas valve pressure 6.3 across gas valve recommended 3.5. Static pressure 1.2. Upon further inspection found inducer port clogged. Cleaned inducer port. And cycled system on. System now heating as should no longer shutting off. 74° inside of home with heater on. No gas sediment trap. Flex gas connector going into furnace. Single wall flue pipe. No in-line safety. Unit in crawlspace. No auxiliary drain pan no wet switch. Older drain pump. Short CFM on return. Interior ductwork, extremely dirty. Could only find one return. Look through main floor interior of home with homeowner. Recommend ductwork redesign for main floor.

The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today.

Arrived found system not heating locked out. No auxiliary drain pan. No in-line safety no wet switch. Unit in crawlspace. No gas sediment trap. Older drain pump. Short CFM on return and supply. Single wall flue pipe. Reset system. Unit cycle on. After a couple of minutes, flames start sputtering and then unit shuts off. Found gas pressure coming in at 5.1. When unit cycles on and flames turn on gas pressure drops to 3.8. Across gas valve is at recommended 3.5. Need to have gas company come out and raise gas supply pressure.

Replaced 50 gallon water heater with new. Includes all necessary code upgrades.

Repair 4” pvc sewer line 5’ deep due to damaged pipe that caused tree roots to grow into pipe and cause a whole house sewage back up. Repair with new schedule 40 solid core PVC and remove all roots from pipe. Provide a lifetime workmanship warranty on this repair. TE Certified not responsible for repairs to sod.

For this job, we worked on troubleshooting the kitchen outlets and replaced 1 defective GFCI outlet. We also installed a new outlet in the storage closet.

Arrived for hvac inspection for upstairs and main floor equipment. Inspected thermostat operation. Inspected electrical wiring and tightened terminals as needed. Inspected amperage on all motors. Inspected starting components on indoor and outdoor systems. Inspected ductwork for proper sizing. Inspected furnace safety’s and furnace operation. Recommended inducer draft motors and igniters be replaced on both furnaces. Customer has a home warranty. Systems are operating at this time.

City came out and identified a leak at the meter and cut off the main water supply line for the homeowner. Dug up area around meter box and found that leak was coming from two spots; the water meter nipple and a broken sharkbite fitting connecting 1” pvc to polyethylene piping. Cut out both sharkbite fittings and repaired Pex line with 1” stainless steel Pex couplings. With water shut off in house off, turned on meter valve to pressurize line between the meter and home. Meter was not spinning after a 15 minute pressure test, so bled air and dirt out through front spigot that branched off before the house isolation valve. Turned on valve supplying to home slowly until line was fully pressurized. Went through all fixtures to let air out of both hot and cold lines. Reconnected vent piping for water heater as a courtesy. Informed homeowner that the water heater was over ten years old and needs to be replaced.

Troubleshoot plumbing issue. ISSUE: Had leaking tub faucet in master bathroom. LOCATION: Master bathroom. FINDINGS: After taking out the cartridge, black pieces of rubber fell out. When everything was put back together it worked perfectly fine. Cartridge and valve are an off brand. Recommended and quoted to replace entire valve to a delta single handle. RESOLUTION: Perform work at later date.

Our client had a leak on a 1 inch blue poly water service approximately 2 foot from driveway on the right hand side. A spot repair was made. Tested for leaks and no leaks were found. Client has two aging water heaters and several estimates have been left for this matter. A follow upphone call will be conducted in a few days

SERVICE CALL: Upon arrival homeowner stated the main floor system For bedrooms the thermostat is completely blank at the display. After complete troubleshooting I found the condensate pump stop working due to overflow safety switch was open due to gfci outlet was tripped and cut off power to condensate pump. After reset gfci outlet condensate pump start working reset thermostat test cooling mode system is working at this moment. Test pressures are ok at manufacture specifications. Customer had a leak in the slab. We cut out leaking pipe and ran a whole new 3/4” copper line from manifold underneath stairs over to the bathroom and connected back to distribution lines inside the wall. Poured concrete back in holes where concrete was busted. Tested and cleaned up and ensured there are no more leaks present at this time.

Opened concrete floor where leak detection marked where slab leak was. Upon opening floor I saw that the leak was not coming from where it was marked. Recommended 3rd party leak detection come out and locate leak and I come back out and fix the leak.

For this job, I conducted leak detection services as a TGL for original technician, Martin Mitchell. During my investigation, I discovered the main service, that goes from the meter and comes up through the penetration under the staircase in the middle of the home. Was sound and had no leaks. I then introduced compressed there via the rear hose bib onto the home. And then used my sonar probe to listen to the floor at the manifold/near the service penetration/and discovered the leak underneath the stairs between the main manifold and the service penetration. Location has been marked with blue X.

Performed leak search to determine where leak is coming from. Determined there is a leak in the slab of the house. Recommend calling a leak detection company to come out and pinpoint exactly where the leak is and have us come back out to bust open the floor and fix the leak underground.
