7 year old Carrier system - Not cooling well Homeowner stated the system has been running a lot more than usual and they keep the thermostat set on 80°. Humidity in the home is up to 61% due to the higher setting on them thermostat. Filters have recently been changed and this is a zone system. Dirty filters could have been placing the system is a semi freezing state. This system is not designed to handle zoning, so dirty filters could definitely throw the system off along with a slightly dirty blower wheel. The refrigerant pressures are good, the system is making a 19° temperature split, and the zone dampers are operating properly. No issues today. Thank you for choosing T.E. Troubleshot issues with light locations and breaker tripping. I replaced the garage foyer light location junction box and with an actual light rated junction box and reinstalled the light fixture, installed new smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, seperated double tapped neutrals and replaced an incorrect breaker in the main panel.

Full system install with new pan,pad,safety switches, and had to run a whole new drain line. Upon completion unit was fully operational in both HEAT & AC modes. Customer was satisfied with the install.

Found a leak at the evap coil. No wet switch, dirty blower wheel and condenser coil. Unit was tripped on and compressor lockout upon arrival.

Tech was out for not cooling. When checking the system seen water in garage. Last visit tech let customer know that we need to clears drain line and add safety switch to drain. Reason why fuse has blown was due to float switch wire had touched emergency drain pan. Causing fuse to pop. Let customer know that we would need to add a safety switch to drain line to prevent flooding from happening. Customer went with option 1 . tech use 3 amp fuse to get system up and running. Check drain line customer has done cleared and cleaned it out. At this time system is operating.

Installed whole home surge protector

Tech was out for no cooling. Checked indoor and seen the following. No evap safety switch on drain line. Drain line needing to be cleared. Blower is needing to be cleaned. Condenser is needing a chemical cleaning. Cap has failed causing system not to come on. Also pressure where extremely high let customer know we would need to clean that way we can verify subcool and super heat. Before cleaning pressure were 144/443 sc 26 and sh 7.8 . After cleaning sc was still high adjusted charge. Now pressure are 137/369 sh 10/sc 14. Customer has signed up for home care we will be back to perform a maintenance in 5 months. At this system is operating.

Punchlist of exterior pool area

Arrived on site and spoke with Mrs. Powell concerning her electric water heater in the garage . I arrived with both top and lower heating elements and thermostats to be replaced. I went ahead and switched the breaker off to the heater along with unplugging the recirculation pump, and attached my hose to drain the water. After draining was complete I went ahead and removed both the top and lower elements and thermostats, replacing them with the new element and thermostats. After I completed the replacements, I filled the heater back up with water, making sure unit was filled up before flipping the breaker on, and plugged in the recirculation pump. Outdoor system was leaking refrigerant from Schrader valve, causing system to not properly cool household. noticed outdoor condenser coil was extremely dirty and flue pipe is not proper size and is short on return duct. replaced straighter valve and added refrigerant. System is now operating properly at the moment.

Replace Siemens breaker with homeline breaker

Tested continuity in both top/bottom thermostats and elements. Both were good. Breaker was not tripped. However, the reset button was. I believe the reset switch is faulty

Check ductwork and no appearance of biological growth at this time, ductwork is dry, bathroom duct that was bringing the water to the trunk line has already been replaced. Advise running the fan for the next week to ensure the entire duct is dry. Initial water leak was three weeks ago. Did system check and found liquid line from outdoor unit to indoor coil is not the right size and is affecting the ability of the system to keep up on very hot days. Also the blower motor capacitor need replaced. Client signed on for capacitor, replaced in system working at this time.

2007 Trane AC/Coil & Gas furnace - Not Cooling System not cooling due to age. System has a failed main control board. The thermostat sends a single to the board but it does not respond to cooling mode. I tried the system in heat mode and the system started to come on but was reading over 30 volts. The heat exchanger is cracked at the far left cell, large crack. The blower wheel is dirty and blower motor is over amping. After going over the age, condition, and cost of temporary repairs, the homeowner requested we send out an install supervisor. I scheduled this with dispatch for this afternoon. Water heater was not on when I arrived. Customer had lost power and the water heater had tripped at the thermostat. Reset heater and it began working correctly. Flushed water heater. No warranty on heater in the event flushing causes a leak.

Tech was out today due to no heating. Tech checked system and found multiple issues. Someone else was out cut low-voltage wire to bypass low pressure sensor. Tech found system low on refrigerant. With low pressure sensor bypassed this will cause a system to continue to run. Also freeze up the evaporator coil. Causing system not to cool properly. Let customer know that we need to perform a nitrogen leak search. Customer decline. Also let customer know the list of followings that would need to be replaced to get the system up and running efficiently. Condenser fan motor over amping , oil is leaking from the condenser fan motor this indicates the bearings are going bad outdoor condenser is need to be chemically cleaned , capacitor on unit is needing me to replace. Tech recommends a hard start for the compressor. There is a contactor on The condenser and a contactor on the heat strips. Those will need to be replaced due to pitting and noise. Heat strips would need to be replaced due to rus

Service call no cooling outdoor not running . The run capacitor on outdoor unit was weak . The contactor was burnt bad and contactor was not making up. Replaced both parts that were bad. Refrigerate levels checked good . Blower was running correctly. Zone system was working correctly. Flushed drain no stoppage. There is no te certified flood protection.
