Arrived on site to troubleshoot the upstairs not cooling. When I arrived it was 80 degrees upstairs and clients said sometime last night/early morning the system shut down. When I cycled the thermostat and headed outside I heard the compressor on. But the condenser fan motor wasn’t running. I shut the unit off, tested the capacitor and confirmed the dual capacitor was dead, restricting the outdoor fan to run. I quickly replaced it with another 40/5uf capacitor and tested the system. We found the system cooling well without any major faults or failures. We did find the blower wheel dirty and the drain line didn’t have great pitch outside but despite being 10 years old, the system is running very well once capacitor was replaced. System fully operational upon departure. Call complete.
Today we were called out due to water in the ceiling between the master bathroom and the kitchen. Upon inspection we found that faucet on the right side of the master vanity had failed leading to water constantly running from the faucet which was making its way into the cabinet and through the floor. We removed the faucet, installed new shutoff valves for the faucet, capped the shutoff valves and the opening where the faucet was installed. We left the faucet with the homeowner, and have sent an estimate to install a new faucet.
Today we installed a customer supplied lavatory faucet and pop up drain, and reconfigured the drain and installed a new trap. We explained that this would require permanently removing the shelf from the vanity in that bathroom. The gasket for the faucet was smaller than the hole in the countertop, so we had to silicone around the base of the faucet. We replaced the hot and cold shutoffs for that faucet. We also replaced and properly mounted the thermal expansion tank and flushed the water heater.

Pull a permit with the city of mableton. Provide and turnkey install a 28kw generac generator on the right hand side of the home near the gas meter. This generator is adequately sized for the home plus the ability for additional loads to be added to the home in the future!
Customer bought a mini split system from Home Depot and installed it themselves I was out here last week because there was an error code P3 which is a pressure limit error I saw that the service valves were not open to allow refrigerant to flow through system They asked me about a price for pressure testing and vacuuming the system but they did not want to go ahead with that they just wanted me to open the system and get it running Today I returned due to the same error code which this time the system was completely out of refrigerant I quoted them to pressure test and try to find the leak which I did not find one I had it on pressure for a half hour and did not drop nor were there any signs of a leak from soap bubbles Customer informed me that yesterday she went and tightened the flare fittings which were a little loose which would explain why it leaked and now it wasn’t. Vacuumed system and charged back to manufacturer specs System is running and cooling properly Thank you for ch
Upon arrival spoke with customer about adding a hose bib to the rear of the home. There was a shut off valve under the kitchen sink. Did an investigation and cut some dry wall in 3 areas and located a pipe they ran during new construction but never stubbed out of the house for a hose bib. Pipe was uncapped inside of wall. Gave options. Drilled through house and installed hose bib. Connected to water supply. Insulated piping and added vacuum breaker. Secured to house and sealed around bib. All work was tested for leaks and functionality.
Customer has a fresh waterline leak on an undersized main. 2 prvs in the lawn, one is 32 years old. Gave several options to take care of leak, from reapair to replace. Again this is a 3/4 inch line with a 150 ft run to the building. Should be at least 1 inch pipe. Waiting for approval.
Upon arrival, met with customer and spoke with him regarding their issue. Customer showed me inside and to the main level guest bathroom. The toilet in this bathroom is clogged. Our company installed the Kohler Kingston toilet in this bathroom a few months ago and also replaced the toilet in the master bathroom upstairs. Customer states that he is unable to plunge these toilets successfully when they clog and would like to prevent these issues from happening again. I informed the customer that the toilet paper being used is Charmin and is very thick. The best long term solution is likely switching to a different brand that is slightly thinner. As a courtesy to the customer I applied a large discount to the cost of the toilet auger and after getting signature approval I began work. Ran closet auger and made two passes and cleared a soft blockage of toilet paper and stool. Flushed toilet multiple times with and without toilet paper. Toilet did not clog again and is functioning correctly.
Customer bought and installed a mini split for a connex trailer but it was not working They did not open the valves to release refrigerant so unit went into overload mode Reset system to get rid of error code Customer wanted to know about pressurizing and vacuuming system which I informed of prices they just wanted to open system and check charge Opened valves and checked charge/system is now cooling and running properly Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
For this job I came out and installed halo ion 6 removing and replacing existing expansion tank to rework pipe installed shut off valve and check valve. Also flushed tankless water heater. Tested and checked for leaks and conducted a super clean up.
At arrival on 07/15/26 Issue: no cool System: upstairs Finding: bad blower motor, weak capacitor, dirty blower motor, potentially bad control board, drain line not pitched right, no downward slope, potentially clogged up drain line, no wet and Ss1 safety switches. Recommendations: address the above or upgrade furnace. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. The main floor system humidifier found broken and hanging. The return plenum was not attached to the furnace, tape came off of the system l air leaking in the attic. I taped the gaps and put a zip tie on the supply run. Temporarily Reattached the return plenum against the furnace. Replaced main floor thermostat. Replaced customer supplied thermostat on main floor.
Upon arrival, met with customer and spoke with him regarding their issue. Customer showed me inside and stated that he is experiencing a sewer backup and that he opened the cleanout on the side of the home to relieve pressure and stop things from backing up inside. Customer experienced this problem roughly a year ago and at that time we snaked the line and there appeared to be roots inside. I presented customer with options to clear the line from the outside cleanout and after getting signature approval began work. Ran k400 drain machine roughly 50’ downstream and cleared a root intrusion that was blocking the line. Ran bathtub on the main floor for about 10 minutes to ensure the line did not back up again. Flushed toilet and ran sink as well. All fixtures are now draining properly. Cleaned work area. Customer is satisfied. A sewer supervisor is scheduled to return Friday to camera inspect the line and give customer options for a permanent solution.
No cool upstairs. Found 2021 3 ton trane TE installed ac and furnace. Upon visual inspection system was not turning on outside. Found failed dual capacitor not allowing outdoor unit to start. System lacks a wet switch and recommend drain cleaning as customer is not a Maintenace customer. Home is pending sale. Customer decided to replace dual capacitor at this time. System operating upon departure. Customer not on property could not get all necessary signatures.
Both systems located in the attic 2 1/2 ton serves upper level 2 ton serves main level New supply and return Plenum New pan New safety switches New flue pipe New media filter and cabinet New UV light New condenser pad New electrical, whip and disconnect New gas whip Two new return ducts Two Daikin thermostat
At arrival on 07/11/26 Issue: no cool System: whole home Finding: bad capacitor (reading 327uf rated for 70uf), capacitor over rated. Bad super boost, weak drain pump, no Ss1 safety switch, no drain pan installed, no wet safety switch, dirty drain pump, dirty drain line. Biological growth in air handler. Recommendations: address the above or upgrade your system. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
Arrived on site to troubleshoot a system not cooling. The upstairs unit wasn't cooling and upstairs temperature got above 80 degrees yesterday. They explained some of the backstory here and they’ve had issues with this unit before and states that it never satisfies the thermostat and there are areas upstairs that never seem to cool. The system make a loud buzzing noise every few minutes coming from the outdoor unit that you can hear inside. We found the compressor had a locked rotor and is failed. Capacitor and contactor are in good shape but the system was never registered so there are no active warranties on the equipment. The furnace is from 1999 and airflow leaves a lot to be desired. There are some major opportunities for improvement and with clients staying in the house for the foreseeable future it’s worth considering all options before reinvesting in equipment without warranties and that's underperformed since install. We have somebody coming out today from 2-5 to discuss repla
We met with our contact on site. Reportedly on Sunday, the main kitchen sink and coffee bar sink had overflowed from water being ran in the master bathroom above. Another company ran equipment from the studor vent under the main sink, cleared the blockage and ran a camera. They claimed there is a failed backwater valve (BWV) in the ceiling below, above the basement bar sink. There is no ceiling access below. From the studor vent, we ran our camera, found the bathroom tie in about 18’ away. Beyond that, we ran the camera down the stack to the basement slab, up to 50’ and found no evidence of a BWV or blockages. We ran water from the kitchen and master bathroom, found everything flowing at this time. I spoke with the owner, advised they use everything as normal and inform us of any changes, questions or concerns. Evaluate drain from main kitchen sink access, assess current condition. This service carries no warranty and is for diagnostic purposes only.
Arrived at customers home to perform no cool call for the upstairs unit. Upon arrival, Customer let me know that the indoor unit was running and calling for cool. That led me to start my inspection outside at the condenser. Immediately, after opening the system, I found that the capacitor was bubbled over. After checking my readings, the capacitor is completely dead on both the fan and compressor side. I would recommend replacing the capacitor. Capacitor has been replaced in unit is now up and running.
No cool on the main level system due to a bad dual capacitor. Replaced capacitor and system works. Checked amperage on motor and compressor, pressures, temperature differential, drain line is clear and visual inspection, as well. System is working in very high head pressure, very high compressor amperage of 12.21 amps (shouldn’t be higher than 13 amps, by the label) , overamping condenser fan (1.61 amps and shouldn’t be higher than 1 amp). System is totally inefficient and compressor can overheat and stop working, specially on hotter days. Also, humidity level in the house can be affected and so the electrical bill. Due to the age (23 years old) and conditions of the system, the best option would be to upgrade the main level system, and bring savings, comfort and efficiency back to the house. Set a lead to quote upgrading for the main level system for today. We should credit back 320,00 spent today, if customer replace the main level system with us.h
Troubleshoot leak underneath hallway bathroom sink. When we first turned on the cold water to sink, it immediately began to gush water underneath. After further inspection it was clear that one of the quick connections to faucet was not clicked in. Customer said it was installed roughly a year ago (not by TE). It looks like whoever installed it tried the tread it on instead of clicking it on. The supply line was twisted. Was able to untwist the supply line and click it into place
I replaced 4 ceiling fans and fan rated boxes. I also replaced a vanity light.
Installed new kholer toilet with wax ring bolts and supply line.
I use TE Certified on a regular basis because of their excellent services and extremely knowledgeable technicians. Cameron was no exception! He worked really hard to fix my issue and went the extra mile.
Called out for Disposal not working and issues with multiple toilets. Fill valve was replaced on one toilet in master bathroom. Disposal was reset and is working properly. And the toilet in the upstairs hall bathroom was pulled reset and has a new flapper and new tank to bowl bolts installed. All toilets are working properly. Customer is aware that one or multiple toilets may need to be replaced soon. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
I replaced a light fixture in the breakfast area with a flush mount light and in the laundry room with a 6” recessed can light.

Cole at TE Certified did a great job at installing my ceiling fan.
Andrew was polite, honest and helpful and went above and beyond to try to fix the issue.
The TE Techs are very well trained knowledgeable. Prior to TE Certified I had 6 service calls for the same issue days apart via home warranty with 2 different companies. Neither company could accurately diagnose the problem. In one visit the tech accurately diagnose the problem, showed photo evidence of the problem and provide options. The tech explained all the options in detail. He provided me with enough information to make an informed decision. The estimated repair cost was market average. They honor returning clients with a discount.
Excellent service
