-replace old smoke detectors with new customer provided smoke detectors -troubleshoot outlets in back porch not working

Upon arrival customer stated that main level system was not cooling, thermostat was turning on and off and drain pan was filling with water. After inspection of 17 year old gas furnace and 17 year old ac and coil found that system is freezing due to bad metering device. Unit was freezing on site while unit was running. Drain line was clear. The heat exchanger is in very bad shape and rusted. Blower wheel is dirty. Checked outdoor system, capacitor is bad, contactor very pitted and bad, condenser coils are very clogged and dirty, both units outside have dirty condenser coils and compressors are very loud and running rough. Gave customer estimate for repairs. Do not recommend repairing system, the evaporator coil for this unit has been replaced in the past. Adding another coil would be the third coil and can not guarantee repair will work and there is no warranty for repair. The transfer switch is wired incorrectly. To fix this we will have to undo the existing wiring, pull the transfer switch off the wall, knockout a second hole, remount the transfer switch and wire everything back in with the correct sized wiring and land all the wires up to code standards

Installed new CS kitchen faucet and RO dispenser.

Ran new water line and installed new hose Bibb in the rear of the home. Installed new dedicated shut off valve inside basement furnace room. Cut drywall to access area. Ran water and tested all work for proper operations and leaks.

Customer has 15 y/o Trane system hat operates for upper level. System is not cooling due to low pressure levels indicating loss of refrigerant. Bad evaporator coil cause of refrigerant leak. Noticed during inspection that condenser coils are very dirty. Blower wheel is dirty. Drain line is not properly pitched. Water protection is poor. Informed customer of all findings. System is currently not working.

Upon arrival tech diagnosed main level system only. Tech noticed major and minor repairs needed at indoor and outdoor unit. Due to lack of preventive maintenance… customer spouse is in a meeting and was unable to make a final decision at this time. Troubleshoot electrical issue. ISSUE: lights aren’t working in a room LOCATION: “OP1” FINDINGS: confirmed with tech-support that it was not the smart lighting system. It ended up being the light fixtures. RESOLUTION: take out two fixtures from a back work room that is not being used and install them in the front work room. We will order light fixtures to and install them in the back room.

Came in today for a no cooling call. When testing system found that there was a restriction in the filter. Dryer on the line set also found condenser coil, completely clogged, causing compressor to overheat and cycle on and off. Also the UV device installed in the system was already burnt and has not been working for a while now. Noticed during inspection that run capacitor is bad. Blower wheel cleaning needed. Water protection is poor. Pressure levels were normal. Dual capacitor is bad. Informed customer of all findings.
