23 year old electric water heater with signs of failure. Removed and replaced. Made all plumbing code adjustments. Turned on the water heater and tested.
Toilet rebuild on master bathroom toilet and powder room bathroom. Major rebuild on both toilets, new fill valve, flapper, and seals.
For this job, I came to look at a system that was leaking. Once I arrived, I noticed that the drain pan was full of water. I proceeded to test the system and its functions and noticed that the system was low on refrigerant. I noticed that the Schrader valve had a leak. While inspecting the system, I also noticed that the zone system was outdated, and I created an estimate to replace with the brand new zoning system, as well as replacing the capacitor that’s bad and upgrading the flood protection. I also created an estimate for the customer to join our home care. Today she went with the Band-Aid option and I was able to complete the repair.
Arrived spoke with customer he stated system has not been cooling for a couple days. Checked indoor unit. Found dirty evaporator coil and dirty blower wheel. Bad run capacitor. No in-line safety no wet switch. Checked outdoor unit. System low on refrigerant. Found failing dual capacitor. Capacitor already has been changed once indicating failing outdoor fan motor. And the compromised compressor due to system running on low refrigerant. Performed quick electronic leak search. Found refrigerant leak at evaporator coil and TXV. Recommend system replacement. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
Attempt to clear kitchen sink blockage Customer called us out for a kitchen sink that was not draining and coming back up on the other side. Upon arrival customer stated this started happening in the morning. They have experienced this issue a few years ago and had the line snaked. We went to the basement to ensure there were no signs of water damage in the ceiling under the kitchen line. There was no signs of damage and then we went to the main floor to perform some tests. We ran water on the right side of the sink and we noticed the water started to puddle and we saw it come back up on the left side with the disposal. The customer agreed to attempt to restore proper flow by using our cable machine. We went to cable the kitchen drain line and after multiple attempts we were successful in restoring proper flow. We did multiple tests to ensure there was not any leaks or backups around our work. Customer was satisfied and thank you for choosing for Te Certified!
Customer had 2 slow drains , the sink down stairs was clogged with a little build up after snaking the line and cleaning it the drain is flowing properly , I recommend having a pop up assembly if the drains start backing up again , also the hair filter in the shower was clogged after removing it the drain is flowing properly
Unit 3 Main Right Furnace 2006, Ac 2007 Replace both, and 4 Main Right
Upon arrival customer stated that main level system was not working. Stated they were having water issues that we came out for yesterday but it was plumbing related. Found that light switch to furnace was turned off, customer accidentally did this while cleaning up water in the area of water heater. Turned switch on and system came on, customer wanted to only have this system inspected today. Did full evaluation of system, blower wheel is dirty, blower motor capacitor is bad, inside the system is dirty. Unit does not have flood protection on primary ac drain line. Checked outdoor unit, capacitor and contactor tested good, condenser coils were clean. Recommended blower wheel cleaning, flood protection, Uv light and blower motor capacitor. Customer declined recommendations at this time, recommended homecare maintenance for two units, customer declined recommendations at this time, system is cooling at this time.
Perform two out of three system home care maintenance. I was unable to check the outdoor AC for the upstairs equipment. The wire whip that comes from the condenser to the subpanel ties into a Generac box and does not have its dedicated breaker. I was unable to cut power to the upstairs unit therefore, I’m not able to check the electrical components. Informed homeowner we have to reschedule checking the upstairs equipment. While checking the capacitor for the main floor unit, I was shocked. Even with the 35 amp breaker off that supposedly is for the main floor condenser unit. I was still receiving 120 V to ground on each leg. Once I turned off the 20 amp breaker that was above the 35 amp breaker I no longer received 120 to ground at each leg on the contactor. Only then was I able to replace the capacitor today. Gave homeowner additional $40 discount on the capacitor because of the inconvenience. Replace April air filter for the main floor today. Also perform condensate drain line repair
Ran a dedicated 15 amp circuit to master bathroom for one outlet for a bidet.
Rebuild Sloan valve toilet in men’s bathroom in first stall
Came to do an inline switch. Had to redo the drain line because it was missing vents. Didn’t have proper fittings. So had to go get more material. Flood protection is installed and pvc is installed correctly and working at departure.
For this job, it was required for me to replace a leaking gate valve and service stop in the upstairs guest bathroom vanity basin. All items have been installed and tested for leaks and no leak have been found. However, in the process of restoring the water service, apparently our air park at the water, discharge it to the cabinet basin and left a watermark on our client ceiling downstairs. A damaged form has been filled out and submitted.

Perform one system tuneup. File return ductwork to be undersized for a 3 ton system. Three eight inch return ducts, two 14 inch supply ducts. Unit has no wet switch. Unit has no doghouse cover. Everything else appears to be in good condition. UV bulb did not need to be replaced at this time. Water safety is functional. Unit is cooling at my departure.

Clear blockage by using auger Customer was experiencing a blockage in the hallway bathroom toilet. Upon arrival I noticed the toilet wouldn’t flush, I ran water in the bathroom sink to ensure there was not a bigger issue going on. After running water only the toilet was being affected. I augured the toilet to attempt to clear the blockage and after multiple attempts we were successful. I tested the toilet by flushing various times. I tested the other bathroom group to ensure it had proper flow.
Yale did an excellent job! He was punctual, communicated well, and ensured his work was done right. I used TE Certified for electrical and plumbing in the past and will continue to do so.
Fast, efficient and informative
The young lady who took my reservation was super friendly , polite and efficient. They kept me posted on my phone about the tech ( it was his partner on the picture, oops) They called while enroute and were on time. Cameron was the plumber and looked at the job and then gave me a quote. He was really nice, and did a very good job. Only 2 things: 1. Cameron's associate waited in the truck when he could have been clearing my second sink. I thought that was odd. 2. They seem to be required to upsell me with a drain cleaning product that was $87 when I asked him about a preventative cleaner. I get this from my dentist as well and it is a bit annoying . Not only overpriced , but , it didn't even have the ingredients listed on the bottle ( what is it really). All in all though, I would definitely use them again.

After assessing the attic vent fan, he proposed a few options and quoted the pricing for each. I also appreciated his suggestions on other electrical issues that he noticed in the home. When I first scheduled my appointment (on a Thursday) I was told that my soonest appointment would be for Monday. They did reach out to me on Friday morning to let me know a tech would be able to come out that day and look at my garbage disposal. Elijah came out and was very professional. He was able to install my new disposal (which I purchased at Home Depot) in a timely manner. My disposal is working properly. The price for the installation was almost three times the cost of the disposal itself, but was a little cheaper than Home Depot’s installation. I reached out to TE because they have some work for me before and I haven’t had any issues/complaints about their work. I’m giving a 5 star for service, but 4 star for overall experience due to cost.
