Attempt to clear a kitchen sink blockage with a repipe Customer called us out for a kitchen sink blockage affecting both sides. I tested the other fixtures in the home to ensure we weren’t having a bigger issue. Customer stated they have not pumped out the septic tank in 5 years. I checked the cleanout on the side of the house and it was dry. We cut the drain for the dishwasher to access the drain line, and we installed a cleanout. We ran our flex shaft to clear the blockage and after multiple we were successful. We tested by running water for a long period of time and didn’t see any signs of it backing up. Customer has an appointment with service due to the dishwasher drain hose is to short to attach to the disposal. We let the customer know not to use the dishwasher or the right of the sink til then.
