SERVICE CALL: upon arrival homeowner stated the hvac system is not Working properly on cooling mode. After complete troubleshooting I found the indoor air handler is in poor maintenance conditions the indoor evaporator coil is highly impacted plus blower wheel is highly impacted And no T E FLOOD PROTECTION. SYSTEM IS 7 years old reset lock out at outdoor unit and test pressures are low it’s possible system may start leaking refrigerant homeowner is aware of the conditions of the equipment Life expectancy are 10 to 12 years. I verified with manufacture and unit is out of warranty. Customer wants to get a quote for new complete system Appointment is set for next Monday from 8:00 to 10:00 am to discuss different options for replacement. We offer financing rebates and discounts are available. After final inspection system is working at this moment. Thanks for choosing t e certified.

Completed evaluation for basement and main system, basement unit would need a full replacement. Compressor is grounded blower motor is burned out. System is charged with R 22 refrigerant. Main unit we need a evaporate coil replacement coil is completely rusted in dirty not allowing proper airflow session is sipping into the air handler insulation.

Customer is having issues with her AC not cooling. Noticed coil is very rusty( potentially leaking), no drain safety on system, recommend wet switch to ensure no water issues in the ceiling, system is low on refrigerant, arma flex is in poor shape, run capacitor for blower motor is out of manufacturer specs, and blower wheel is dirty. Recommend replacing system due to cost of repairs being high, being out of warranty, and due to age of system. Customer stated her neighbor knows a person that seals the refrigerant leak and adds refrigerant for $200. She’s not interested.

Arrived to appointment and changed out the vivint thermostats to the ecobeepro. System after installing thermostats in stage 1 and 2 cooling. Also tested stage 1 and 2 stage in heating. Also tested the auxiliary heat as well. System is working properly at departure. Connected thermostat to homeowners phone as well. Collected signatures and payment. System is working properly at departure.

Arrived at appointment homeowner said the system was not keeping up after vivint installed thermostat. Tested voltage at zoneboard and was not receiving voltage at Y2 till a 40 minute delay. Jumped Y2 and R at the thermostat and received 26v at the zoneboard. Would replace both vivint thermostats because the thermostat is not sending a signal for the system to kick in to second stage. Thermostat stated they were in second stage and they were not on the board. No flood protection and missing a 10” bypass.

John and Austin were fantastic! They arrived on time and listened as I explained our electrical issue. They got straight to work diagnosing and worked up multiple options and quotes. They were able to repair our dryer cord, the electrical outlet, and made some recommended safety updates to our breaker within a couple of hours. John also answered a few questions I had regarding some other electrical situations in our home and made some great recommendations. I can't say enough how great TE Certified has been with our HVAC and electrical issues we've had over the past year. All of the techs that have visited have been on time, courteous, and knowledgeable!
