Found bad run capacitor on blower motor and replaced on today’s visit. Upgraded indoor air quality with an IWave whole home ionizer. Tested heating and all components of system. Cleaned blower wheel on today’s visit as well. No other concerns at this time.

Performed 1 system diagnostic on whole home unit. Found compressor failed and unit empty. Upon further inspection a terminal from the compressor blew the plug out and damaged the condenser coil as well. Unit has no te flood protection. Unit is still under warranty and rapids are priced at flat rate pricing for labor for warrantied parts. Unit is non operational at this time. Disconnect is off at outdoor unit. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

John and Austin were fantastic! They arrived on time and listened as I explained our electrical issue. They got straight to work diagnosing and worked up multiple options and quotes. They were able to repair our dryer cord, the electrical outlet, and made some recommended safety updates to our breaker within a couple of hours. John also answered a few questions I had regarding some other electrical situations in our home and made some great recommendations. I can't say enough how great TE Certified has been with our HVAC and electrical issues we've had over the past year. All of the techs that have visited have been on time, courteous, and knowledgeable!

I am so thankful he was able to get our repair expedited because this was during the heat wave and we were without AC with 3 dogs and a baby in the house.
