Came out today to complete one system HVAC no cool service call. Upon arrival found 2018 Goodman 4 ton straight AC and furnace. Customer stated that yesterday they came home and noticed it was warm in the home and it did quit working. Customer approved full system diagnostic. Upon inspection of the system, found the drain line came directly out of the system, and ran flat across the attic ceiling and was partially restricted, there was no flood protection, the blower capacitor was bad, the indoor blow wheel was dirty, the filter had recently been replaced, the outdoor contactor was burnt and pitted causing major chattering of the contractor, the outdoor capacitor had completely failed, the condenser coil was heavily impacted, the return airflow is low and only adequate for a 3 ton system, there is no UV protection on this system. Upon completing evaluation, customer approved basic repair. Upon completion of this repair system is now functioning properly and draining properly.

Called out for backed up toilet. Customer decided to replace toilet with a TE supplied toilet due to the current toilet being old. Toilet was installed properly and is functioning as it should. Toilet drain is now clear and flowing. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!

No cooling call, upon arrival customer stated that there was no air coming from the vents, also stated that outdoor unit was short cycling outdoor unit would shut off after about45 seconds of running, system was going out on low pressure due to blower motor not running, checked capacitor and found that capacitor was bad reading out of tolerance, reading. 8.5/10 mfd, attempted to replace capacitor and blower motor still did not cycle on, blower motor is getting proper voltage as well, blower motor is also dirty, blower motor will need to be replaced, furnace is 29 years old, heat exchanger is heavily rusted, system also does not have standard TE flood protection, recommended install supervisor to come out and quote replacement of furnace, install supervisor is scheduled for today between 3-6PM

Trench new water service line to front corner of garage, run water to original service location and tie back in to the homes water

Replaced leaking expansion tank and mounted to bracket.

Replaced dishwasher drain due to customer getting new dishwasher and contractor installing appliance will not install unless drain is ran properly per code.

Upon inspection found that the air handler located in the attic had a pan full of water, the drain line was backed up, the filter was very dirty, there was no TE standard flood protection, the zone system did not have a by pass, the blower will have buildup, on and around the evaporator coil there was biological growth present, there is no UV protection on the system, upon inspection of the outdoor system found the capacitorfor the system was below range and bad, the contactor for the system was burnt and pitted. Upon customer’s approval of the basic repair made all approved repairs and tested system and found that it is now currently working. At this time there is now TE standard flood protection, the drain line is free and clear from all debris, replace 16 x 20 by one filter, replaced both the contactor and the capacitor

Arrived on site, homeowner showed me to master bathroom where shower is constantly running. Thermostatic shower valve cartridge has failed. Will need to replace valve to turn shower on. Recommend replacing all parts including body sprays due to age. Water heater has water leaking onto it from shower. Recommend water remediation. Floor above water heater is rooted. No warranty. Will attempt to find a replica of valve to install.
