Job Locations and Reviews
Performed a leak search, and cut Sheetrock in ceiling to access hall bathroom plumbing. Ran shower for 30 min spraying walls. The integrity of the plumbing system looks to be in good condition. There were however you could see moisture building up on the subfloor. Was dry to the touch before the shower started. But after that amount of time it starting dampening. Caulked bathroom shower in the upstairs hallway bathroom. Also, as a courtesy caulked the hall bathroom toilet. Tested fixtures no leaks.
Our waterline repair job took more time and effort than expected from the start but Martin kept working hard until the job was completed.
Dug up main water line in front yard approximately 3’ deep to find leaking water line. 1” pex line was cracked spraying water out the side of the pipe. Cut out compromised section on piping and replaced with new 1” pex tubing. Backfilled and covered area. Also, repaired irrigation line as I hit it while digging looking for main water line.
Install new garage outlets
Removed disposal in kitchen to remove screw that was wedged in between blades
Came out today to install a customer-supplied skirted toilet in the first-floor bathroom. Prior to installation, I inspected the existing toilet flange and found it to be in good condition at this time. I replaced the existing toilet supply stop with a new quarter-turn shutoff valve to accommodate the new toilet connection. I then installed the new skirted toilet using a new wax seal and closet bolts. The base of the toilet was caulked to provide a clean, watertight seal. Once installation was complete, I tested the toilet multiple times for proper operation and inspected all connections for leaks. The toilet is functioning properly with no leaks detected at this time. I also checked the home’s water pressure, which is currently holding at 55 PSI.
Came out to customers house due to her main floor not cooling. Noticed system is very low on R22 refrigerant. I also noticed that the blower wheel is dirty, system is freezing up due to the lack of R22 refrigerant, no water safety on drain, float switch in pan is defective, run capacitor is out of manufacture specs, and evaporated coil is very rusty and potentially leaking the R22 refrigerant. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. Thank you for choosing TE certified.
Upstairs not cooling, furnace is 25 years old. Outdoor AC has compressor with bad windings, bad capacitor, unit is lacking ductwork and replacement would be the best option.
Replaced sewer ejector pump in basement. Pump was clogged by a few different things. First there were baby wipes in the blades that was jammed and would not come out. Then in the pump discharge outlet it had part of a pvc cap stuck in there which could have been blocking the discharge line from flowing which could have lead to the pump burning itself out.
Visually inspected whole house. Found both pop up assemblies in master lavatories were leaking. Both of the tub drains were corroded and pitting. And expansion tank has gone bad.

Arrived spoke with customer she stated all thermostats were blank. On arrival, all thermostats were operating and system is cooling. Found wet switch directly under condensate drain line. Flushed and treated drain line. Moved wet switch so it won’t be directly under drain line. Found filters dirty. Dirty blower wheel. Some sweating on right side Plenum. Found disconnected dehumidifier. Plug dehumidifier into outlet and its operating. Dirty condenser coil. Checked amperage capacitor and pressures. Found return short CFM. Not enough space on Plenum‘s to upsize. Need to install supervisor to give quote. customer only wanted to change filters at this time. installed 2) 16×25×4 filters. Will call in when ready for repairs.
Replaced pressure reducing valve in basement to correct low water pressure issues throughout the home.
On today’s visit I met with the customer. The customer expressed an issue with a smell coming from the break room. I wrote up options to perform work and received approval. I repiped the sink and got rid of the extra p trap on the sink line. I put everything back together and tested for flow and leaks. The sink is now draining properly with no smell or leaks at this time. I also poured the first dose of endure down the drain as well. The customer is now happy and satisfied with the work completed. Remove basket strainer and collar, includes replacement of: strainer, collar, tail piece extension, trap, and p-trap for one compartment sink, test and clean up work area. Endure treatment
Replace light fixture
Replace outlet in garage
Flushed tankless water heater
Called and came out the same day. Price to replace my hard wired smoke detector was reasonable. Very nice service tech.
Install customer supplied detector in hallway
This option is to add surge protection inside the main panel instead of below it due to there being cabinetry around it. This option is also to change the breaker at the outdoor sub panel for the pool light. The light is located inside the pool so I can’t look at the light itself. But I can change the breaker. After changing the breaker that fixed the problem it no longer trips, so it was a bad breaker. Homeowner printed out the service protector coupon for 549, to use at his main panel. Manager approved to putting the search inside the panel because there is cabinetry all around the main panel, preventing me from placing it below or above it.
Arrived spoke with tenant. He stated unit was not cooling the day before. On arrival system was cooling. Found auxiliary pan full of water caused by clogged drain line, overflowing drain pan and going into auxiliary pan. Causing flow switch to shut unit on and off. Visual inspection. Customer approved drain line clean only. Cut open drain line. Flushed and cleared drain line with mighty pump. Poured 2 gallons of water to ensure proper drainage. Treated drain line. Vacuumed up water from auxiliary drain pan. Cycled system on. System now, cooling and draining to the outside.
Installing new Lutron smart switches for outdoor lighting
For this job, we installed 15 recessed lights and two customer provided ceiling fans. We also installed four dimmers.
Low water pressure 39 psi with no usage Remove and replace PRV and set pressure at 70 psi remove the two shark bite fittings and the shark bite PRV in the process
Forsyth country reported high water bill to customer. Came out and located irrigation head leaking, customer will need to contact landscape/irrigation to get issue repaired. Shutoff irrigation for customer to stop constant water run.
Run closet auger in bathroom toilet. Customer called us out for a clogged up toilet. Upon arrival we tested for mainline backup, toilet was only fixture affected. Ran closet auger in toilet to clear blockage. Pulled back a sanitation odor clip from toilet. Removed clip from toilet and excess toilet paper. Tested afterwards by flushing with and without toilet paper. No signs of system backing up. Clearing successful

I’ve worked with Luis on both my commercial properties and my home, and he’s been outstanding every time. He’s reliable, communicates well, shows up when he says he will, and the quality of his work has always been excellent. Cam was the coolest help I’ve had in this service . Smart and efficient in his craft he’s someone I’d personally request for more work . Will use this company in the future.
Jason was great. Was able to make it earlier than expected which was great. Very nice and professional. Fixed the issue quick and improved the plumbing setup quality to reduce risk of future leaks.
Overall, the work performed was good, on time, etc. Only complaint is prices on 2 of 3 projects were REALLY high. To put on a simple TV wall mount$350…..to simply move 2 fans to another room….$600. We have another company that will do them both wall mount and moving 2 fans for $400, which is less than half of what TEC quoted
Very professional and courteous. Expressed a willingness to answer any question.
