Replace switches in kitchen and replace light in kitchen
Upon arrival customer stated that ac unit for main level had been struggling and not keeping up. Unit is coming right at 10 years old. After inspection if system found several issues with ac unit, condenser coils were very dirty, there was water filling drain pan due to a lot of rusting from coil getting stuck in the drain line. Back of plenum was not sealed to the equipment. The supply plenum is to small and has caved in on coil allowing no air flow, insulation from coil cabinet is pulling into system laying on left side coil causing air flow issues. Unit has been slowly freezing due to a failing TXV metering device. Recommended speaking with install super about redesigning the system for better air flow, customer does have option to keep furnace did not find any issues with it. Ac/coil, plenums, do need replacing.

Troubleshot light in the master bathroom not working. It worked for 8 hours straight while I was there. I checked all connections on the circuit and it worked fine up until last night. I ran a new power from the master bathroom switches over to the toilet room switch and the bath fan is working properly again. Switches in master that were missing any boxes was added and installed. Two new surge protectors were added at the main and sub panel. The sub panel wiring was jacked up and so we replaced it, adding a new ground bar in both the main and sub panel and separating the neutrals in the main. Everything is tested and working properly.

Perform six system homecare maintenance, replaced two filters for the main floor system. Clear drain line, cleaned off any sensors that needed to be cleaned. I’m testing the unit both heat and cool. I noticed that there was an abnormally long delay when switching into heating mode. I checked voltage at the furnace control board. I was not receiving a call for heating even though the thermostat was set to heat mode. I inquired with the homeowner if his thermostat ever has issues or takes very long when switching from cooling to heating, he states yes, but he thought this was just because the system was large. Went through the installer settings on the thermostat found there to be a minimum seven minute delay before the unit will switch over to heating. I switched the minimum off time to two minutes. Furnace turned on quickly when I switched over to heat mode. Minimal issues found with other units. Guest suite unit was low on charge. Homeowner doesn’t want to do repairs on that system. U
