Job Locations and Reviews
Came in today because system was not cooling properly. When testing system found that there is a restriction in evaporator coil causing system to freeze up and leak water on drain pan activating wet switch. Call multiple companies looking for part replace but because of refrigerant being stop producing manufactures does no carry the part any more, let costumer know and recommend upgrade system or find prior company that install system. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!

For this job, we worked on installing a customer provided Tesla Wall connecter, installed a new exhaust fan in the upstairs bathroom, and a wall switch for the towel warmer.
For this job conducted lead detection services for homeowner. During my investigation, I introduced compressed air onto the entire plumbing system and regulated the pressure to 50 psi. During my investigation, the pressure held in the main service throughout the investigation, which lasted over two hours. Just to be sure my first attempt was not a vacuum lock on the inside of the plumbing system in the home, I drained the house down again, but compressed air on the entire plumbing system, including the mainline service and I never lost air pressure on the service. However, when I turn the water back onto the home, the meter still red .05 GPM’s. It Is in my opinion, that the meter is not reading correctly.
Performed 1 system diagnostic for upstairs system. Found wet switch malfunction on and off, off little water in the pan and check refrigerant levels, found liquid side had on,y vapor in it indicating a leak of refrigerant . System was not cooling but had higher standing pressures. However line temp would not go below 80°. Due to age of system and type of repairs would recommend replacement over repairs. Compressor is also compromised with oxygen running in the system. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
This option involves installing a new outlet for the fridge that would be on the existing 15a garage circuit. I would run a 14/2 romex cable from an existing outlet that is currently in the attic and then down to the desired location in the garage. This option also involves me changing out and re-locating the existing GFCI outlet for new TE provided GFCI outlet to ensure proper function for ground fault device.
Return to complete scope of work. Began by replacing filter and evacuating drain pan. Homeowner also wanted the upstairs unit filter replaced. Noticed that the replacement A2L sensor. was not long enough to reach the evaporator coil. Relocated both control boards closer to the evap coil. Reconnected all the thermostat and communicating wires. Secured wire so that they are not touching the flu pipe. Connected sensor. Waited for thermostat to initialize. Thermostat was on the wall upside down. After correcting the thermostat orientation, the unit turned on and began cooling. Homeowner is interested in the home care and signed up for that today. Both units do not have adequate flood protection.
For this job, we worked on troubleshooting the flickering lights, replaced switches, 1 breaker and installed a whole house surge protector.

Inspected gas lines for homeowner at pool heater and for fire pit, also at gas grill area. No leaks were indicated with sniffer test and then performed bubble test, no leaks found. Quoted for replacing the piping at pool heater and for the fire pit at the start connection. Suggested to sand and repaint the pipe if not going to replace them. No leaks
Upon my arrival found suction line freezing badly, both indoor and outdoor units, compressor froze over. Found faulty capacitor. Equipment is single stage zoning, bypass was not opening properly. Recommended replacement of bypass damper. Replaced damper and tested for airflow. There is water in the drain pan, homeowner is aware. It is from coil freezing over. Unit does not have proper water safeties, provided quote. Drain line was not cleared and filters were not changed during this diagnostic visit. Homeowner signed up for the HomeCare on his zoned system. Capacitor for AC was replaced today and bypass damper was replaced. Sent estimates to homeowner.

Perform two system one time inspection. MAIN; The furnace that services the main area is from 2004. It has a faulty capacitor reading about half of what it should be. Main floor has high head pressure. Burnt wires going to the contactor. High starting amps along with high head pressure, early signs of compressor failure. Furnace/air conditioning are no longer under manufacture parts warranty. Repairs on existing equipment are not recommended and replacement is the best option. The furnace and air conditioner for the main floor appear to have been lacking regular maintenance aside from normal filter changes. Flue pipe for furnace appears to be connected poorly. No carbon monoxide was detected at this time. Projector room; new furnace and new AC, AC does not appear to be charged correctly, possible refrigerant leak, sensing bulb may not be properly insulated or secured. Subcool reaches 7 out of required 8 but quickly dips back to a 1. Recommend leak search/continued diagnostics. Both

Furnace is 25 years old AC is 29 years old. Duct work is in very poor condition. Recommended a full system replacement plus ductwork. Unit does not have adequate flood protection, but it is not operational at this time. Credit diagnostic towards system replacement.
