Customer called about a recent leak in home. TE arrived and inspected home for source of leak. Found source to be from an inlet water supply connection on RO filtration system underneath kitchen sink. Found water pressure to be high and corrected by replacing Pressure Reducing valve. Set home pressure at 55.
Customer has some work done by handyman he replaced a lever for the toilet and adjusted some things in the toilet that was causing the toilet to leak out of the lever hole. Upon arrival I saw that the water was spewing out of the leather hole due to the over flow tube being too high above the hole, so I lowered the fill tube below the lever hole so if the fill valve ever stopped working, it wouldn’t flood out of the lever hole, after testing multiple times the fill valve was working properly and just needed it to be adjusted and stop properly and after testing, everything is working fine with no leaks and no backups present, I also let the customer know she has original water heater to the home and she said whenever she start having hot water issues. She will have us come out to inspect and replace water heater.

Customer says main floor AC is not cooling. Inspected thermostat. No power to thermostat. Power switch was turned off at furnace. Found faulty compressor. Customer will call in tomorrow to see if she moved forward with main floor repairs.
We arrived at the home due to problems with 4 outlets that were reported by buyer’s inspector: 1.- Outlet is the basement in the basement had a foreign object stuck on one of the openings, at the time of the visit said object had been removed, we inspected the outlet and retightened connections of the back, nothing issues were found. 2.- Loose GFCI outlet in the kitchen, screws that attach outlet to electrical box were loose, we tighten said screws for it to not move and loose enough so it doesn’t crack the tile behind it. 3.- Outlet on the side of bench, this outlet was reading hot and neutral reversed in out tester, when trying to remove it the wires were short not allowing it to be removed. We removed the box and in the process we notice that the wiring coming to the outlet was extension cord wiring that was route through a hole into the wall, extension cord wiring cannot be used as permanent wiring or be rerouted inside of walls, we suspect connections were made inside of the
Arrived spoke with customer he explained we installed system systems. I checked and we installed AC coils and outdoor condensers. We did not install furnaces. Main floor system Found low-voltage wiring going to condenser not connected onto board not allowing system to cool. Reconnected wiring to test and outdoor condenser cycle on checked amperage and pressures. System now cooling. Found bad capacitor, and failing blower motor. Highly recommend furnace replacement for both. Previous technician deemed furnace is bad and need to replace. Another company had come out and replaced heat exchangers due to overall quality of workmanship. There are too many unknowns. This furnace may be very dangerous to operate and could potentially cause a fire in your home. It is strongly recommended to replace these furnaces. The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
Customer garbage disposal was completely rusted out, causing a disposal to home and not spin , so I gave a option to reset the disposal and after trying to reset the disposal, I didn’t have any luck resetting it, so we ended up having to replace it so we replaced the disposal with the three-quarter horsepower disposal and after testing the disposal works properly with no leaks and no backups present
Arrived for no cool in basement and checked all electrical components inside air handler , changed filter (customer provided)and cleared drain. Opened outside heat pump unit, checked board, and found a common wire disconnected. Powered down the unit, reattached the low voltage common wire to outside heat pump board, and turn the system back on. System is now working properly at the moment with a delta T of 18.
Secure wiring and inspection our work
For this job, I came to look at a system that was leaking water. Once I arrived, I noticed that the drain pan was full of water due to a clogged drain. I proceeded to perform a thorough diagnosis and noticed that the condenser coil was also dirty and the system was low on refrigerant. The furnace is also extremely old with rust and oxidation on the heat exchanger. I presented all options but specified that I would highly recommend replacing the system. Instead, he chose to get Band-Aid options so I proceeded to add refrigerant without any warranty as well as clean the condensate drain line and clean the condenser coil.
Added new wire for existing outlet through an exterior outlet on the opposite side of the wall. New decorative outlet with screw less plate was installed a new Gfci and bubble cover were installed outside
Arrived for inspection of both systems. Checked all electrical, ignition and refrigeration components. Changed 1” filter and box filter is good. Cleared both drains. All systems are working properly at the moment.
Troubleshoot on lights and outlets not working in family, replaced gfci in garage
Overall, the work performed was good, on time, etc. Only complaint is prices on 2 of 3 projects were REALLY high. To put on a simple TV wall mount$350…..to simply move 2 fans to another room….$600. We have another company that will do them both wall mount and moving 2 fans for $400, which is less than half of what TEC quoted
Estimate includes removal of the existing front door light fixture and installation of one customer-supplied light fixture in the same location using the existing electrical box and wiring, provided they are in safe, serviceable condition. Installation includes securing the new fixture, making all necessary electrical connections, testing for proper operation, and cleaning the work area upon completion. Any repairs or modifications required due to damaged wiring, an incompatible electrical box, or code-related issues are not included and, if needed, will be discussed with the customer before any additional work is performed.
Came in today because system was not cooling properly. When testing system found that there is a restriction in evaporator coil causing system to freeze up and leak water on drain pan activating wet switch. Call multiple companies looking for part replace but because of refrigerant being stop producing manufactures does no carry the part any more, let costumer know and recommend upgrade system or find prior company that install system. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
-replace old pond gfi outlets and back porch -replace bubble covers -replace all outlets and switches in bedroom -install safety breaker with afci and gfci protection
Replace power flush bladder on existing toilet Repair faucet without full flow
For this job, we worked on installing a customer provided Tesla Wall connecter, installed a new exhaust fan in the upstairs bathroom, and a wall switch for the towel warmer.
For this job conducted lead detection services for homeowner. During my investigation, I introduced compressed air onto the entire plumbing system and regulated the pressure to 50 psi. During my investigation, the pressure held in the main service throughout the investigation, which lasted over two hours. Just to be sure my first attempt was not a vacuum lock on the inside of the plumbing system in the home, I drained the house down again, but compressed air on the entire plumbing system, including the mainline service and I never lost air pressure on the service. However, when I turn the water back onto the home, the meter still red .05 GPM’s. It Is in my opinion, that the meter is not reading correctly.
Performed 1 system diagnostic for upstairs system. Found wet switch malfunction on and off, off little water in the pan and check refrigerant levels, found liquid side had on,y vapor in it indicating a leak of refrigerant . System was not cooling but had higher standing pressures. However line temp would not go below 80°. Due to age of system and type of repairs would recommend replacement over repairs. Compressor is also compromised with oxygen running in the system. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
