Arrived to appointment system will have a six degree temperature difference. Systems pressures looked good but a little higher than usual on the liquid pressure due to the condenser outside being dirty. Also systems dual capacitor outside that gives power and a jolt of energy to kick on is currently bad. System is a single stage system in a zoned design which design which is not recommended. Missing flood protection at the moment. System is missing 220 CFM on the supply side and does not have a bypass right now. Today only a diagnostic was done. Collected pay,ent and signatures and confirmed email.

For this job, we worked on replacing a gfci in the master bathroom nd replaced a transformer for the ring doorbell.

Customer says upstairs AC is not cooling. Inspected AC which was not installed by TE. Found faulty dual cap. Recommended a coil cleaning and drain line cleaning. Recommended a contactor and kickstart for compressor. Parts are under manufacture warranty. Customer did not move forward with repairs.

Came out to customers house due to his upstairs system not cooling. Main issue is that the condenser fan motor has failed. I also noticed there is no water safety on drain, recommend wet switch due to pan being rusted through, run capacitor is out of manufactured specs, condenser coil is dirty, gas sediment trap isn’t up to code, flue pipe isn’t up to code, evaporator coil is very rusty (potentially leaking), and system is low on refrigerant. SERVICE CALL: Upon arrival homeowner stated his first floor hvac system is not working properly on cooling mode is not keeping room temperature Plus the power bill increased last 2 Months. For this job I performed a troubleshoot on multiple areas of the house after a recent lighting strike. I found that the meter only had one ground rod, there was no surge protection, one switch was cracked and broken, neutrals in the panel were double tapped, and the grounding system was not done properly. Today I installed two new ground rods and connected it into the meter, added a hot/cold bond jumper at the water heater, ran a new #4 ground from the panel to the prv, installed surge protection, replaced the kitchen switch for the cans, separated neutrals in the panel, and I replaced one outdoor Gfci and bubble cover.

Arrived spoke with tenant. Found system not cooling blowing warm air. No in-line safety no wet switch. No bypass damper. Not enough room on return Plenum to add would need new return Plenum. Found failed dual capacitor. Single stage system with zoning. Dirty condenser coil. Customer tenant approved dual capacitor only. Installed dual capacitor. Unit cycled on. Checked amperage and pressures. System now cooling. Highly recommend system replacement need variable speed system for zoning. Need new return plenum and bypass added.

For the job I conducted lead detection services for homeowner. During my investigation, I noticed that the leak was coming from the area in the middle of the yard halfway between the meter and the water service penetration at front foundation wall. Location has been marked with blue flags

On main service in basement, we will install a new stream labs leak detection/leak stop device/. Once installed, we will check the new system for leaks, and clean up. There is already an electrical outlet in the vicinity of the main service so electrician will not be needed This quote also includes the stream labs scouts, to be dispersed throughout the home in areas where the homeowner would like to have leak alarms. Found leak in the evaporator coil, condenser coil is dirty, dual capacitor is out of manufacturer specs, condensate drain does not have enough pitch, and recommend adding water safeties to prevent water issues in ceiling. I added a new outlet in the upstairs hallway for a lamp off of an existing switch in the upstairs bedroom. Outlet was tested and is working properly. Estimate was left to add surge protection

Install new chandelier with a new side mount fan box

I performed a troubleshoot on a circuit that had kept tripping after a recent storm. I checked voltages and replaced the breaker but continued tripping. I tested the circuit and was able to isolate it to the wiring running from the under cabinet lights on one half of the kitchen to the other. I tested all of the lights and they were still working well. I removed the old wiring going to the two left under cabinet lights and ran new wiring with junction boxes outside. I reinstalled the under cabinet lights and they are all working properly again. I let the homeowners know that while demoing the existing wiring I found that they had used crimps inside of mc so when one of the connections broke off it started touching the metal and that was causing the breaker to trip. Before installing the new lights I tested the wiring with a load on it and everything held fine so the new wiring was ran and everything was hooked back up. Today’s visit was for the upstairs unit not cooling. I checked the thermostat. Checked the indoor unit. It doesn’t have a wet switch. I gave estimate for wet switch installation. Checked the filter. Checked the blower motor and evaporator coil. Checked the outdoor unit. Found the dual capacitor and fan motor bad. Gave estimates for repair options. Customer approved the recommended repair option. Went and picked up parts. Returned and performed work. Replaced the dual capacitor and fan motor bad. Installed hard start kit. I found the condenser coils very dirty. Customer approved chemical cleaning. Cleaned condenser coils on both units. Also customer signed up for 2 unit home care. The system is cooling at this time. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.

Install Tesla universal with surge protector

I replaced one outlet that was burnt up in the kitchen. I checked the other devices and while the wiring appeared to look fine I gave recommendations to replace the other devices due to their age and wear. I left estimates to replace a mismatched breaker, add surge protection, and to Redevice the remaining kitchen outlets. I couldn’t get his thermostat to replicate the error code and it worked the entire time I was there. I recommended if the issue persists that he contact hvac to do a further diagnosis.

Customer called about a leak in yard. TE arrived and advised to excavate to locate leak. Found two leaks. First leak is a failed fitting on main line. Second leak is on irrigation after meter, and before shutoff. Shut water off to home and fully exposed pipe for repairs. Repaired main line and irrigation. Tested for leaks and NO Leaks.

Completed system inspections upstairs unit furnace is 28 years old has a rusted and cracked heat exchanger AC and coil are 16 years old. Highly recommend to replace upstairs system to the age and condition of the furnace. System is missing proper flood protection switches. Main unit was installed in 2021 furnace AC and coil are in good condition conditions no issues found in main unit All system are fully operational
