Job Locations and Reviews
For this job I came out for a 3 handle shower that did not turn off, washer inside of stem was broken causing the water to not stop, changed out all 3 stems. Inside of valve it is very corroded and not smooth causing the washer inside to break. Tested for leaks and conducted a super clean up.
2 system one time inspection. Found upstairs furnace to have suspected misplaced room sensor causing average temperature to be wildly off allowing furnace to run constantly. Removed sensor from thermostat and system performed properly. Inspected unit finding system to have duct board plenums, no wet switch and ac starting to get dirty. Main floor system is 80% furnace in an encapsulated crawl space causing incomplete combustion to rust heat exchanger out prematurely. Incomplete combustion could be smelled by both Dominique and myself in crawl space. Heat exchanger has large amount of rust, a small missing section of metal and a few cracks that were located. Informed customer of safety concerns with heat exchanger in the condition it is in and advised not to operate main floor heat. Left thermostat in non heating position. Found main floor furnace does not have secondary emergency drain pan in crawl space, condensate pump is dirty and ac getting dirty as well. Quoted repairs.
For this job, I repaired a poor connection for the single oven
Jeff arrived on time at our rental property. He called me just a little bit later to walk me through his findings and options in 2 proposals that he had created. This helped me make the right decision and he rapidly performed all the work and called me again upon completion. We have been long term TE customers and this is another example of the great service that we have come to appreciate. Great job!
Customers' garbage disposal was rusted and not running with t Reset switch tripped. As well the drainage stack underneath the kitchen sink appeared to be leaking and was indeed not glued together. Both hot and cold washing machine shut off were leaking. Hallway bathroom toilet was kneading a shimmed and being caulked as it rocked a very faint amount as well. The master bathroom toilet lifted off of one side completely. Customer agreed to have all said items repaired and or replaced. Started by turning the water off the home. And cutting out the old washing machine valves and replacing. I then turned the water back on to the house. No leaks. I then uninstalled the old garbage disposal and glued the drainage underneath the kitchen sink. And then installed a new have horsepower garbage disposal. After installing, I filled the sync up to test for leaks. No leaks. I then shimmed and caulked the hallway bathroom toilet. And suggested to the tenant to not sit on the toilet for the next twelve to
Replaced and glue stop valve in children’s bathroom, and also performed minor rebuild on 2 toilets in the home. Lastly I replaced a failed expansion tank on one of two water heaters. The tank was water logged, and not mounted.
Great service.
Customer called us out for a clogged toilet in the men’s warehouse toilet. We ran water in the sink which caused the toilet to gurgle. We recommended clearing the line using a k-400. Customer agree. I pulled the toilet and ran the cable machine down the line successfully clearing the line. I tested the line by running water for 15 minutes. The flange on the toilet was broken and a service tech will be out 11/18 8-10 am. I reset the toilet with new closet bolts, china caps and wax ring. Tested toilet for any leaks and all looked good. Cleaned up area and finished.
Homeowner experienced staining in basement ceiling. After exposing the area, we found a ruptured pressurized water pipe. Cut the section out and replaced it with new piping. Tested and checked for leaks.

Replace Timer Switch In Mud Room
For this job, I worked on replacing a washer box that was dripping and causing damage to walls and sheet rock. Went ahead and added a new washer box with hammer arrestors. Went ahead and cut sheet rock to fit in new box. Also tested and cleaned up area. Reconnected washer but homeowners may disconnect it and reconnect it because they will be getting a fan to blow out the area where it was causing damage.
Cut ceiling to find leak, found out that jack and Jill bathroom on second floor overflow on left hand sink is not working properly found a lot of water on cabinet and floor area looks like water overflowed from sink to the floor. Installed pressure regulator and valves in basement area due to leaking valves
Inspected for issue. Water heater was set at 120 degrees upon arrival. Water temperature at fixtures was around 102 degrees. Replaced shower cartridges as the first step in troubleshooting. This improved the water temperature, but did not completely solve the problem. Replaced check valve on the return line. This seemed to solve the issue at this time. If the problem occurs again, further troubleshooting steps will need to be taken. Additional troubleshooting is not included in today’s quote. The recirculating pump seems to be malfunctioning. It is very hot to the touch. The homeowner stated that the hot water was not instant. This indicates a problem with the pump. Left the pump unplugged at this time. Suggest replacement of pump. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified.
Hooked up gas dryer with customer supplied parts. Tested and checked pex for leaks and function. Homeowner is aware parts are not under warranty
Replaced breaker
Replaced ceiling fan
Arrived on site to complete quoted repairs. We started at the parts house picking up the heat exchanger. One we arrived we shut down the furnace and carefully removed the breached heat exchanger. We had to remove the gas valve, electrical, flue, gas line and all combustion components. We also completed the repair to insulate the high voltage wires going to the furnace instead of having exposed wires straight into the cabinet. We deep cleaned the condenser coil as well. We installed the new heat exchanger making sure it aligned with its supports in the back and reinstalled all combustion and electrical components. We sealed the gas connections properly and tested for gas leaks before cycling the system. We completed a 20 minute burnoff of the new heat exchanger to avoid an offputting smell often experienced with brand new heat exchangers. After we tested operations we collected payment and cleaned up. We turned attic lights off and placed attic insulation back in place upon departure. C
Troubleshoot breaker tripping.
Daikin system - Not heating System not heating due to a stuck inducer motor. I removed the motor and observed that a giant beetle had wedged itself in between the fan blades and the motor housing. I removed the beetle and installed the motor back on to the system. Tested equipment, system is now operating properly. Recommended getting on our home care plan. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified, have a great day!

Run k400 cable in sink drain clear blockage Camera inspection Bottle of endure for preventative maintenance Customer was experiencing a partial blockage in mainline affecting kitchen drain only. Water was backing up from under dishwasher from an old abandoned dishwasher line that was never cut off. Kitchen drain transition from abs to cast iron that goes underground. When we ran water in kitchen drain it would come from below dishwasher. We Went and flushed toilets on the other side of the house and only kitchen was being affected. Took apart pTrap assembly and ran k400 cable. I was able to clear blockage and hear a rush of water go down the drain. This is the second blockage in 3 years that affected the kitchen. A couple of months ago they had another mainline blockage that affected their other side of the house and caused flooding. They had another plumbing company come out and clear that blockage.
