No Cool-Initial inspection found the outdoor unit not running. Contactor was engaged. Had homeowner show me the electrical panel, and I found a tripped breaker. Reset breaker and system ran. Further inspection found the electrical whip for the outdoor unit had came loose and the wires were exposed. At some point the wires had rubbed through and made contact with the metal disconnect box which cause the breaker to trip. Replaced whip and anchored to unit and wall. Restarted system and it cooled normally. Had a conversation about HomeCare membership but customer is moving to Colorado and selling the house. It was also noticed that the outdoor coil needed cleaned. Will leave estimate as currently the house is being painted and it would be difficult to perform that task today.

Replaced old tankless with a new Navien 240A2. Repiped as needed. Added an isolation valve to the rear hose bib at no charge. Installed an ION 6 filter to protect the water heater. Tested for leaks and function, all good. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified.

Upon arrival, met with customer and spoke with her regarding their issue. Customer showed me upstairs and to the upstairs guest bathroom inside of the guest bedroom (son’s bedroom). Customer states that they have experienced a slight smell and are not sure where it is coming from. I did not immediately smell anything upon entering. Ran all fixtures which are all draining properly. Home was built in 2016. Traps are sealed and not allowing sewer gas to escape. The tub drain and sink drain are both clean and free of debris. There does not seem to be any venting issues. When running the tub spout I did notice at most a slight chlorine smell coming from the water. Spoke so the customer about my findings and also inspected the water heater and main shutoff. I talked to the customer regarding Halo 5 water filtration and gave them a pamphlet with information as well. Customer states they may be moving within the next few months and would not like someone out to discuss water filtration just ye

Cut and replaced both restroom toilet flanges. Also replaced both toilets with new seals and supply lines. All work was tested and checked for leaks

2 system inspection Inspected both systems throughly to ensure proper functions of the entire hvac equipment, at this time both systems are operating. I did notate any issues and made the homeowner aware and made recommendations.

Removed the three existing fixtures over the table in the kitchen and removed the old work boxes and wiring so that the ceiling can be patched and painted prior to the chandelier install where the original fixture location is. We will return to install the chandelier once the drywall has been repaired.

TE Certified will install and supply a new prv, along with a new vent in the attic, with bringing the WH up to code, and sewer popper cap.

Replaced ceiling fan remote/ receiver

While our HVAC department was replacing an air-conditioning unit, a third-party contractor accidentally damaged the temperature and pressure (T&P) drain line on the water heater. I received approval from Daffy Duck to complete the repair at no cost to the customer.

Replaced ceiling fans in basement on existing wires with new boxes.

Troubleshoot buzzing doorbell

At arrival on 04/21/26 found the following: Issue: no cool System: upstairs Finding: bad indoor capacitor, bad outdoor capacitor, low refrigerant, leak found in the evaporator coil, rusty/cracks found in the heat exchanger, dirty blower wheels and air ducts, dirty/clogged up drain line with a lot of debris in the primary drain pan, high static pressure especially in the supply side, ductwork undersized, bad airflow, no wet safety switch, dirty condenser coil, contactor making a humming noise, system is 15 years old. Recommendations: address the above findings or upgrade your system. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Repaired leak at indoor coil metering device by replacing gasket. Pressure tested system to ensure no leaks. System held 270psi for 15 minutes. System was vacuumed and tested after repairs.

Troubleshoot tripping arc fault

Customer has a recurring code 12 on his Rinnai tankless. Performed a flush and cleaned the flame rods and igniter. Rinnai tech support recommended this as well. Added Ion 6 to unit to help keep the unit clean. Tested for leaks and function. No issues.

Installed new 50gal gas water heater and an Ion 6.

Tech was out for installing new thermostat, customer got a new thermostat from google nest to replace faulty existing thermostat. Tech came out to install and found thermostat not coming on. Tech put thermostat on charger and thermostat is still not coming on. Tech put back old thermostat on wall. Customer is sending thermostat back to google / nest. She will call when new one arrives

Replaced condenser coil for the ODU. Vacuumed below 500 microns. Charged the system per manufacturer specifications 7.5 lbs. Checked delta T. Found the crawlspace air handler is not properly pitched. Found the drainage is flat pitched. Discovered an issue with the drainage as a result, allowing the crawlspace to flood. Presented repair options for consideration. Replaced 16 20 2 filter with 16 20 1 filter. Found growth build up on the exterior of the air handler and on the inside coil. Presented options for repairs for this as well.

Customer called us out for a vent that was holding water per the customers roofer. I checked all showers and didn’t have any major slowing of the drains. I then looked in the attic and saw that the pvc vent pipe was severely back pitched. I recommended getting that repaired as well as the customers water pressure is 90psi. Customer also had an issue with a smell in the wife’s sink of the master bathroom. The drain was clean so I recommended a bottle of Endure to help with it. A sewer supervisor is coming out between 11am 2 today to address the other issues.

For this job, I replaced a broken keyless fixture.

Kevin called us out to his house because he had a breaker trip for his refrigerator. At the time of arriving the breaker was not replicating the issue. Today we just installed three customer supplied outlets in the kitchen.
