The issues are as follows: - There is a leak in the ceiling coming after a shower is used. - Customer wants to replace a toilet in the upstairs hall bath - Glacier Bay toilet in the basement. I gave several options for everything and we initially started with the leak search. Before I started cutting drywall, I wanted to take a deep dive into the bathroom above. We noticed a major gap between the fiberglass shower pan and the tile walls. (1/8” thick) I notified the customer and we opted to pour water down the drain. The drywall remained the same level of moisture. The customer decided to start by addressing this gap. If there continues to be a leak after a bath and tile company fixes this, he will call us back out. Customer wanted to wait before proceeding with any other repairs. Today I Came Out To Address The Homeowners Concern Of A Noise Coming From The Counter Top Box And A Few Flickering Lights. I Met With The Homeowner And She Showed Me The Areas. I Went Over The Agenda And Performed A Troubleshoot. I Determined The Connections On The Box Making A Noise Were Not The Best. I Also Determined The Light Bulbs In The Fixtures Are Different And The Dimmer That Controls Them Is Not Selectable For The Lowest And Highest Dim Setting. I Also Determined The Flood Light By The Garage Was Getting Proper Power But The Sensor Is Inconsistent. I Provided Options To Get These Items Taken Care Of And Went Over Them. The Homeowner Decided To Replace The Flood Light And Re-Do The Connections For The Counter Top Box. I Put In A Material Request For The Flood Light And Began Re-Making The Connections. I Tested That Work For Functionality And Then Once The Light Arrived I Replaced It. I Made Sure To Have The Homeowner Adjust The Settings On The Flood Light To Her Liking. I Went

The customer had a new back porch installed and requested to have (3) new location outlets wired in. I came off (3) existing outlets inside the home and completed a back to back configuration. I supplied and installed new cut in boxes, weather resistant outlets and bubble covers. Each outlet is on a different circuit which is #10, 11, 19 inside the main panel and these circuits already have duel function protection so no GFCI devices needed outside. After completing I tested the outlets to ensure they are working and I informed the homeowner that if he leaves something plugged in and it gets wet the breaker may trip and to unplug it and then try to reset the breaker.

After a deep diagnostic I could not get the breaker to trip on site. Customer Stated this was a nuisance tripping for Dual Function 15AMP BR Breaker on a dishwasher circuit. Electrically wise everything is working properly and safety breaker is working as intended. Left an option to start out small by replacing the breaker but with no warranty and guarantee that would fix the tripping issue based on my findings. Recommended to get a Dishwasher/Appliance guy to test the dishwasher itself for internal component issues that may be causing the breaker to trip.

I was called out today because the condensate pump kept shutting the system off. Upon inspection, I found a blockage at the pump outlet and cleared it. Replaced a faulty 15 amp CH duel function breaker located at circuit number 30. The existing breaker is an older generation style, plug on neutral type. These breakers are prone to fail and it is suggested to have all the old generation breakers to be replaced with newer models.

3 System HomeCare Cycled each system through heat and cool from the thermostat. Changed16-25-1 filter for loft and checked both media filters. Flushed drain lines with 2 gallons of hot water, took temperature readings at indoor equipment, inspected heat exchangers, blower motors, and coils. Checked and tightened all electrical connections, used multimeter to check all motors, power enhancers, and high wear components. All systems are heating and cooling properly but there’s a few things that deserve attention. The upper level system has some biological growth on the inside and on the outside of the evaporator coil. The evaporator coil is a wet dark area that never sees light , so it’s prone to accumulation of growth. This system also has a weak dual capacitor on the outdoor unit. Received call regarding leaking water heater. Upon arrival, found that old, 40 gallon unit appeared to have started rusting out from the bottom. Build date on the unit was 1995. Tested house water pressure and found it to be in an acceptable range at 53psi (50-70psi ideal). Prepared options for replacement, and homeowner subsequently approved 10 Year Warranty 50 Gallon Gas unit. Turned water off to the home and drained down system. Disconnected venting, T&P, gas, and hot/cold water lines. Hauled off and disposed of old unit. Cleaned underlying floor and set new unit in place atop drain pan. Installed 4 year warranty extension kit (secondary anode rod). Installed new quarter turn ball valves for both hot and cold lines to/from water heater. I Explained How The Ballast Works And The Fix For The Situation. I Provided An Estimate To Do A Ballast Bypass On x7 Light Fixtures Throughout The Office. Returned to the house to check on the humidifier. Replaced bad humidistat and added a transformer , so solenoid will have 24 when it’s calling for humidifier. Tested humidifier multiple times with no other issue. System is heating , cooling and humidifier working properly.

Customers water bill was high and after further diagnosing the problem we found that one of the upstairs toilets was leaking very badly in the tank into the flapper. We replaced the toilet with a Kohler Elmbrook and also replaced the supply line and stop valve. The faucet in the same bathroom was also dripping so we replaced the faucet and also replaced the stop valves underneath the sink.

Customer called us out for a clogged kitchen sink. On arrival I tested the sink and after a while the line started to back up. The dust was also experiencing a gurgling noise coming from the washer when the master bathroom sinks were ran. I tested the sinks and heard the gurgling. It also caused the water in the kitchen sink to rise. The master bathroom was directly above the kitchen. I gave the customer multiple options and they chose to have the line cleared using a jetter. I ran the jetter down successfully clearing the blockage. I then cleared the line two more times to ensure a through job. Tested the line throughly and cleaned up.

1 System Inspection (Upstairs) Performed inspection on the upstairs system and completed inspection on basement system last week. This is a 21 year old carrier system that is zoned and located in the attic. I cycled the system on from the thermostat and tested both heat and cool. When performing the safety inspection I did observe that the heat exchanger is compromised in multiple places. The blower wheel is dirty, the blower motor is over amping and has leaked out most of its oil, the inducer motor is noisy and vibrating due to a warped shaft, and the furnace is compromised with rust. Outside the compressor was over amping on start up and run, the dual capacitor is weak, and the condenser fan motor is running hot and over amping. At 21 years old the system looks its age and had multiple components that could fail at any moment. Replace bathroom in master bathroom

Today I came out to quote adding in some vents to the kitchen area. System is a 2004 Trane furnace servicing main level. Customer would like to add 2 vents to kitchen. One duct is already there, but new spot needs to be cut in. We are adding a second duct with cut in. Upon further inspection, I found the blower wheel to be impacted with debris and the heat exchanger is on the verge of cracking. After going over all findings and options, customer has signed up for Home Care Plan today. I will return on Tuesday November 3rd to complete Option A. Customer had leak under the sink, upon inspection I found that the left side basket strainer was leaking, I also noticed a set of old shut offs and the other basket strainer was very corroded, I made the customer aware and she decided to get it done today, I removed the existing trap and the rest of the tubular piping under the sink and removed both basket strainers, I then turned water off to the home and cut out the existing shut offs, I installed the new ones reconnecting them to the existing faucet using new supply lines, I then installed the new basket strainers and a new end out waste, once complete I turned water back on to the home and tested for leaks, I ran the faucet roughly 5-10 minutes and then filled the sink up 3-4 times to ensure there were no leaks

Arrived at the residence to replace the dryer receptacle after the homeowner purchased a new dryer and discovered that the existing outlet was not compatible with the new appliance. During the visit, also inspected the microwave receptacle due to visible burn damage and investigated the flickering hallway lights.
