Warranty call: Performed 1 system cooling diagnostics on a 2025 goodman system that we indtalled that cools the upstairs. I found a trip water safety switch and a clogged drain line. I flushed the drain line and added clean out tablets. I moved the water safety switch so its not directly under the drain line. I changed the dirty media filter with a 1" air filter; homeowner will order a new one and replace it. I verified that the blower motor was operating along with the compressor and condenser fan motor. I checked the refrigerant pressures (sub-cool 10 superheat 18). AC system was operating when I left.
Contacted to have new light fixture installed that was replacing can light. Connor identified an old recalled whole house surge protector in electrical panel. We were unaware of this as it is a new home for us. He provided multiple quotes for work at no charge. We opted to replace the whole house surge protector and replace light fixture We felt the cost was very reasonable and would give us peice of mind. Connor was outstanding and extremely kind. He made sure to provide instructions on how to address service and warranties should they be needed. Very pleased with work and attention to detail. Thank you!
Kyle is very knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to find and resolve the immediate issue and schedule a tech to troubleshoot the long-term cause.
Received call regarding lack of hot water throughout home. Performed troubleshoot on dual electric water heaters, testing elements, ground fault, and power to units. Ultimately determined that recirculating pump had failed, resulting in a crossover that had cooled the output of hot water throughout the home. Swing check valve on return line is also likely compromised. In due diligence procedure also found high water pressure at approximately 80psi. Prepared estimates for resolution of all issues.
Upon arrival, met with customer and spoke with her regarding their issue. Customer showed me inside and stated that while doing laundry this morning water started to come out the back of the master bathroom toilet. While running the shower in the master bathroom I noticed that the half bathroom toilet started bubbling as well. We replaced a section of the cast iron with PVC under the concrete slab and installed a two way cleanout outside a few months ago. No water holding in cleanout confirming that the blockage is inside likely still in the cast iron which has not been replaced. Customer was also interested in replacing the master bathroom toilet so I gave an option to replace the toilet and will snake the line as a courtesy to clear the blockage. Customer agreed and after getting signature approval I began work. Removed old toilet and set to the side. Toilet flange is PVC and sitting a little high. Old toilet had a large gap in the front. The lead closet bend which the flange is inst

Installed new Navien NPE240-A2 in the basement. Installed new ball valves on the hot and cold inlet as well as a service valve kit. Installed a condensation pump mounted to the wall below the unit. Ran a 3/4” gas line from the branch line under the stairs to the unit where there is a new shut off valve with a flex connector. The intake and exhaust run across the unfinished ceiling and out of the left side of the home. We completely disconnected the existing electric water heater and drained it. We were unable to remove the original water heater due to lack of space between the wall and the HVAC line set. We discussed options for getting the line set moved with the customer, but we decided we will leave it in its place. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
Only System - Not cooling well Home run let me know on arrival that the system has a leak in the evaporator coil and that today he just wanted to top it off to get through the rest of the summer. I went over some different options and today the homeowner chose to have me clean the condenser coil and add refrigerant to the system up to 3 pounds. I charge the system to manufacture specifications and clean the condenser coil. System is operating to its best ability and there is no warranty on the refrigerant. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified, have a great weekend!
I disconnected and moved one of two HALO water filtration systems so that client could try to locate the source of the water that is seeping through the concrete slab in the general area. I had to cut the regeneration discharge line and reconfigure it so that the other system could discharge water when necessary. I diagnosed a failing lavatory cartridge and recommended replacing both hot and cold on both fixtures in the bathroom. Once client receives the estimate and e-signs the approval I will order the cartridges and schedule a return visit to install them.
For this job we dug down to the penetration point and found the black Polly pipe failed and spraying water. We replaced failed section and stubbed in a new piece of rolled copper through the penetration point. We wrapped the copper in burial tape and made our connections inside and out of the home. We installed a courtesy valve in the home as well. After we ,add our connections we tested for leaks. Water was no longer spraying and the meter was no longer running. We back filled area and left how originally found.
Arrived on site to troubleshoot the master bathroom not working. The homeowner tried installing a new GFCI outlet in the bathroom. The line and load on the GFCI were reversed. After looking at the breaker, we realized it is Amgen 2 Eaton CH dual function breaker. We Replaced the master bathroom safety breaker in the panel with new gen 6 Eaton CH breaker. The gen 2 that are installed have known issues where they will trip periodically. We also replaced the upstairs bathroom GFCI with a normal outlet. Everything is working upon departure.

Completed diagnosis and repairs to GFCI and main panel
Arrived on site and customer stated her bathroom faucet on the left side of the double vanity, in the master bathroom was leaking from the handles. I offered to replace the faucet or to replace the cartridges to stop the leaking. I also checked pressure to the house and found no issues with pressure . Customer stated faucets are original to when she purchased the home a few years ago , so ultimately it’s most likely due to normal use. In addition customer also stated she had a water bill that has slowly increased for the past couple months , so I checked to see if the mainline had a leak, but ultimately the leak was inside . I suggested starting from the faucet since it’s the only thing leaking while not in use , as there were no signs of other leaking or dripping fixtures in the home . Customer decided to just isolate the faucet and not use it for now , and see if the bill changes , then make a decision to either replace the faucets or cartridges .
Ring installation
Arrived on site to look at an outlet that was heating up. we performed a troubleshoot to diagnose the issue. We took the outlet out and noticed backstabbed connections. We plugged in a heat gun and turned it on. We ran the heat gun for approximately 10 minutes. When the heat gun was running, we did not notice any heating up on the outlet, wiring, or wall. The homeowner informed us that this issue was taking place around the same time her phone battery was going out. We came to the conclusion that the phone charging was causing the wall to heat up. Due to the backstabbed connections, we recommended several options for redevices. For today’s visit, we replaced the outlet in the upstairs bedroom. While working at the electrical system, we noticed the 400 amp system is outdated. The main electrical shut off is in the basement. We gave the homeowner an option to bring the electrical system up-to-date and to replace the existing electrical panels. Everything is working upon departure.

For this job we replaced the stop valves under the kitchen sink. We also installed a a water hammer for the dishwasher as required by code to help protect the appliance. We noticed sink was not vented so we rebuilt the draining system for the kitchen and added a studor vent and eliminated the s trap that is not approved by code. Also reworked connection for the drain of the dishwasher. Tested all work and left work area clean.
Whole House Electrical Check-up. Includes checking of all major electrical components and spot checking existing outlets and switches. FINDINGS: The tenant informed me of the issues they were experiencing. In some locations they had lights that were dim and humming. They also had outlets that charged their phone slowly. In other locations they had lights that would burn bulbs out after only a short period of time. Upon inspection of the electrical panel I found it is a cutler hammer main breaker panel. There are multiple neutral wires landed under a single lug which is a code violation. I tested voltage on both legs of power on the line side of the main breaker and found one reading 114 and the other reading 130. This aligns with what the tenant is experiencing. Lower voltage can lead to dim lights and slow charging. Higher voltage can cause bulbs to burn out fast. The first step to correcting this issue would be to have the power company come out and check their side. If they find
