Customer called us out for a clogged toilet and shower in the basement. I tested the toilet and sink until the toilet started to gurgle. The shower never had water come up. I gave the customer multiple options and they decided to start with clearing the toilet and see if the shower is ok after. I removed the toilet and ran a cable machine down the line successfully clearing the blockage. I pulled back lots of wipes and tampons. Customer also has cast iron. I tested the line with the sink and it was clear. I then tested the shower and it was blocked as well. I attempted to clear it with a plunger but was unable to so we upgraded to running a machine down the line. I was successful in clearing the shower. I reinstalled the toilet. I then cleaned and tested the bathroom group throughly. Sewer supervisor is scheduled to visit tomorrow between 11 and 2.

I came out to investigate an issue with the post lights, not working. I found the box where the wires are coming from and I read continuity on the lines that go out to those post lights, which means the wires have been cut at some point. I believe only the main line going to the post has been cut however there is always a chance. There’s also some wires between the lights that are also cut. I’m including a price that I worked up for you in January and I’m keeping that same price for you. I also replaced two boxes. One in the foyer that was damaged on the sides needed to be replaced for safety reasons as well as to make sure those switches could be flush. I also moved up and replaced the outlet in the master bath since it was too close to the bank of switches in the plates could not both be put on. I was also able to send it in the middle of the bank of switches where you wanted it. As a courtesy I put in a temporary switch in the laundry room since it looks like these people doing t

For this job, I worked on installing 10 recessed smart lights and separating them on two different switches. One of which was a smart switch remote.

Arrived on site and customer stated a leak was coming from the kitchen wall. In order to locate the leak , I had to cut the wall behind the kitchen wall/ cabinet which was located in the bathroom. Customer agreed , so I found a leak coming from what was a 1/4 supply that fed the refrigerator. Hose line supply was teeing off from the hot side , and was done incorrectly. After showing the customer the issue , he stated he had remodeled the kitchen 10 years prior, and they moved the fridge , so the contractor ‘use have swung a. 1/4 line to the new fridges location . Customer also stated that is why he would get hot water from the fridge after running it for about 5 seconds. I explained the proper way to fix would be to run a dedicated line through the kitchen walls , and would need to remove some cabinets in order to get the dedicated line in the right area, but customer was okay with just removing the current supply from the hot line to the cold line . Today We Came Out To Address The Homeowners Concern With A Kitchen Outlet. Upon Arriving The Customer Explained How The Outlet Was Melted And Wanted To Know What Could Cause It. We Explained How Loose Connections From Plug To Outlet And Heat Caused By Electricity Can Melt Plastics. They Felt Reassured That The Issue Can Be Resolved By Replacing The Outlet. We Provided Options To Replace The Outlet And Install AFCI Protection. The Customer Chose To Replace The Outlet. We Replaced The Outlet And Properly Bonded The Metal Box. We Also Labeled The Two Kitchen Circuits For Them. We Tested The Outlet We Replaced As Well As The Other Kitchen Outlets To Make Sure They Were All Properly Wired. Customer called for T&P dripping water outside of home. After investigation it was found that the water pressure in the home was 100psi because of a failed Zurn PRV. Work was performed to replace it with a Watts PRV and after install, checked for leaks and proper functionality.

Returned again for a noise complaint coming from the one of the AC systems. Apparently the noise customer is hearing is not the drink cooler but the main floor system. Which is not the system I replaced the coil on. The noise is coming from the compressor there is an odd deeper droning sound it makes while running and can be heard in the master bedroom which is right above the outdoor unit. I did a full inspection and only found the system needing refrigerant. Capacitor, contactor and amperage all looked good. Unfortunately only way to stop the noise is to replace compressor. The compressor cools the house fine otherwise. Customer will hold off on compressor replacement for now.

Performed a comprehensive HVAC system homecare. Checked and verified all electrical components for proper operation, including contactor, current controllers (capacitors), wiring connections, and safety controls. Measured and confirmed refrigerant pressures to ensure the system is operating within acceptable range. Inspected blower components, evaporator coil, and condenser condition. I performed an blower wheel cleaning today and sent estimates on the indoor blower capacitor because it is out of tolerance.

Arrived on site for a no cool. Met with Clint out from who shared he’s in his late 80s and has been in the home since 96. System began not cooling yesterday only blowing hot air. We did find the dual capacitor was dead on arrival, explaining the lack of cold air. All components are from 1996 and we spoke about the systems health and the fact that it killed a capacitor less than 2 years after it got replaced. The capacitor was incorrectly sized and I found the original size for the capacitor was 50uf and not the 60uf size that was in place. The contactor was severly burnt. The heat exchanger is cracked and amp draws off the compressor are extremely high. He knows the system is at the end of its life but wanted to do the minimum to get the system running again. He is interested in Homecare but doesn’t want to be billed monthly due to security issues previously. System is cooling again after replacement but I did share that due to age, condition, efficiency, cost of repairs and safety, we

Callback on Wayne. Customer wanted more options as far as repairs to get system up and running. Inspected 2010 trane 2 ton ac system to confirm diagnosis of failed thermostat. Thermostat is failed with screen not working at all. Found cracked heat exchanger, dirty ac, mini al flood protection, weak dual capacitor, higher 5en expected amp draw on compressor given current conditions and return plenum is too small which likely caused premature failure of heat exchanger. Customer agreed to replace dual capacitor and thermostat. Replaced parts and tested system in all modes of operation. Quoted additional repairs. Informed customer system past life expectancy and was in need of major repairs on heat side. Advised replacement is best option. Informed customer of cracked heat exchanger, advised due to safety concerns not to operate the heat. Left thermostat in non heating position.

Homeowner has a tub waste and overflow that is leaking. The tub waste was resealed by T.E. in the past, however now, the waste is leaking. Upon inspection, I removed the overflow plate and found that the gasket for the overflow has dry rotted and cracked. This is the cause of the leak. Removed failed waste and overflow as well as PVC piping for waste and overflow. Cleaned flange for waste and overflow. Installed new PVC waste and overflow and fit it for existing tub. Installed overflow gasket and overflow plate. Installed new chrome lift and turn. Filled tub until water level was above the overflow plate to test both the putty seal on the waste drain, as well as the gasket seal for the overflow drain. Left tub filled with water for approximately 15 minutes. Drained tub to test drainage connections. Tub seals are no longer leaking. Drain connections are not leaking. Tub is functioning as intended. Water pressure is 90 PSI Water heater is a 40 gallon natural gas from 2011

Need to return 5 21 26 to complete diagnostic project: Replace 3/8” plastic condensate drain with limited access and check drain line for proper drainage.

Installed new 3/8” clear tubing for suite five’s condensation drain. Secured it up and through the attic space, and secured down and past the ODU AC condenser foot print pad. Tested the drain with two gallons of water for consistent continuity of free flow pump action of the condensation reservoir apparatus and it’s safety mechanism.

Today we came out for main level not cooling 2020 trane 3 ton ac. Cycled equipment from thermostat checked operations found failed duel motor starter serving condenser fan motor and compressor. Gave client repair options and they approved repairs. Installed new duel motor starter and hard start kit. Started system up checked operations and refrigerant levels. Left all equipment operational.

TE certified will perform a sewer spot repair. We will need to start on the inside of the home and re work the penetration, install a two week clean out as it exits the home with a sewer popper cap, dig up to the pavers and the sidewalk and correct the pitch of the piping. The repair made by TE certified will come with a lifetime workmanship warranty. INSTALLATION: Removed pavers,bushes and some sod to be able to dig and under drain pipe.Had to dig till I found pipe that didn’t have a belly and connection were not glued. TE installed new 4” pvc and put glue & primer on each connection and made sure pipe had proper pitch so drain wouldn’t hold water.Installed two-way cleanout with sewer popper & put sod and pavers back.
