I came out to install a bath exhaust fan that you had purchased. There were some issues with this one and that there was some plywood up above where the fan went that had to be cut out because the fan was too deep. Also, there is an issue with the ductwork which means it is making a small amount of noise. If that noise is something that bothers you, you will need to have that ductwork redone by an air condition technician. Arrived on site to replace the electrical panel and breakers supplied by Mr Gordon Also installed an outdoor 3-way switch and a GFCI receptacle by the back porch. Ran a new #4 copper grounding conductor to the existing ground rods. Tested the completed work to verify proper operation.

Installed new 50 gallon Rheem natural gas water heater. Installed new shut off valve, expansion tank, sediment trap, gas flex connector, drip pan, and short stand. Checked all fittings for leaks and set water temperature to 120. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!

Arrived on site and customer stated they had a gas leak outside near the meter. I went ahead and bubble tested the suspected area and found the copper gas line connection that feeds the gas grill was leaking. I offered the option to either fix the existing leak or replace the line completely. Customer decided to fix the gas leak on his own.

Replaced light fixture in bathroom and removed Sycom surge protector from panel.

Auger toilet with closet auger Pull and reset toilet, inspect flange. If flange is good condition we will secure toilet with new bolts/wax ring. Customer called us out for a wobbling toilet on second floor and clogged toilet on basement floor. Upon arrival we tested for mainline blockage, toilet was only fixture affected. We then went forward with attempting to auger toilet. We then removed toilet from floor and attempted to auger toiler from other end. Toilet is compacted with thick toiletry wipes. Attempted to remove with different augers and tools but we were not successful on clearing. Coming back tomorrow to install customer supplied toilet. Went forward with pull and reset for wobbly toilet. Removed toilet and flange was broken. Replaced flange, secured flange on 4 new bolts. Set toilet on new wax ring and secured toilet to floor. Attempt to clear blockage from exterior cleanout Customer called us out for a shower that was backing up in the basement. Upon arrival the customer they had this similar issues about a year and half ago. The customer showed me two cleanouts outside of the home, and I went to inspect them and they were both holding water. I let the customer know about this right away. The customer also showed me a pump that was not working and the basin was full. We recommended to the customer to attempt to restore water flow and they agreed. We ran our cable machine through the exterior cleanout and we were successful in restoring water flow. We brought back tiny bits of soft tissue on our cable. We went to run water in the bathroom and we heard the water drain and I was able to see it as well. A sewer supervisor was scheduled to further investigate on the sewer line along with the pump. The customer is satisfied and thank you for choosing Te Certified!

Discovered dry vent on toilet line in basement while preparing to begin work. Found that the vent did run to the attic. Reworked vent lines in attic to include clean-outs to clear and inspect vents. Further diagnostics might be necessary to find drainage issues.

I came out to install two smart switches that were supplied by you. Also, as a courtesy, I fixed the wiring on the four-way switch upstairs, which just needed the wires redone. Thank you for using TE certified electrical! Veaya

Toilet in 2nd floor men’s restroom is leaking from the base. Pulled the toilet from the floor and replaced the wax seal. Reset the toilet and tested. No further leaks detected.

This option is to troubleshoot the disposal This option is to replace the GFI located right next to the switch for the disposal, and to replace the GFI below the sink that is no longer working. I will replace the GFI below the sink with a regular outlet, since it is tied off of the existing GFCI next to the disposal switch, therefore making it redundant. I changed the GFCI on the top of the counter for the disposal switch box because it was also older and will likely follow suit soon in going out. I changed the GFCI under the sink for the disposal outlet to a regular outlet and change the metal plate for it. The GFCI that was originally in the disposal switch box was tripped, and when I un tripped it and hit the switch, there was power restored to the outlet box below the sink, but despite getting the proper 120 voltage, the outlet would not come on so the GFCI had gone out.

I came out to inspect an issue with an outlet that was sparking. In your kitchen, your outlets are quite old and as is the case with most kitchen outlets, they’ve gotten quite a bit of grease splattered inside and one of them had melted. The other one had actually cracked so it was not getting full power. I replaced those two and you said to hold off on the other one since you’re planning to remodel the kitchen and it is not actually broken. It is just old. Also, since that countertop was not GFCI protected, I replaced the breaker with a dual function GFCI breaker. In the future, you may wish to add another circuit since your microwave was on the same circuit as all of those other outlets and also there seems to be a ground fall either in that microwave or in the outlet behind it, but you did not want to have that removed and troubleshoot at this time. Your panel is also fairly old and during that time. They made panels much smaller, so it would be great to get one that is more size

Upon inspection, the attic fan motor was found to be defective and has stopped operating. We recommend replacing the existing motor with a new compatible motor to restore proper attic ventilation and ensure the fan operates safely and efficiently. The estimate includes removal of the failed motor, installation of the replacement motor, necessary electrical reconnections, and testing of the fan to verify proper operation upon completion. Any additional issues or damaged components discovered during the replacement will be discussed with the customer before additional work is performed.

Installed new can lights in loft with a dimmer and added a new outlet behind tv in living room.

Today we installed a 100A subpanel and rerouted a few circuits. We also installed a 20A circuit for the mini split, as well as the disconnect. The HVAC company will install the whip. Arrived at clients home and inspected a Rinnai R85i tankless water heater that is throwing error code 52. Attempted to contact Rinnai for troubleshooting and was informed that they no longer make parts for this unit. Advised client about this and strongly recommended replacement. Client indicated they want to stay with tankless and will contact us with a decision within 24 hours. If they move forward with the replacement within 30 days we will credit the $149 paid today towards the work.

After checking whole house water pressure and finding it within range I replaced a shower cartridge in an upstairs bathroom. Before installing the new cartridge I removed built up debris stuck inside the valve itself. Once removed the cartridge was installed, the house was pressurized, air was removed from the system and the repaired shower was tested for proper operation with no issues. Finally, I rechecked the whole house water pressure for a second time to confirm that it was within range.

Troubleshoot of dryer not working as well as light in kids bedroom. Install new 30a circuit for dryer. Install new box and dryer outlet. Install 4 prong dryer cord. Install GFCI breaker on dryer.

Replace UL nest thermostat with client provided new nest thermostat and tested both heat and cool operations to be operational at this time. Client will download the app, add the new thermostat and room sensor. No warranty on the thermostat provided by client. Warranty is only on labor.

Troubleshoot why the outdoor outlets had stopped working.

Came out to troubleshoot bedrooms that were not working and found a loose connection at a bedroom outlet. Quoted to replace the device, received customer approval, completed the repair, and tested everything to confirm proper operation. Also discussed panel replacement and a service upgrade and provided the customer with a quote. Combined two single-gang boxes into two-gang boxes in the kitchen and master bedroom.

The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Stairs, capacitor. Main floor thermostat failed and contactor shorted out. Necessary repairs made with approval. Systems now back to cooling. Thank you for choosing TE certified!

Fixture install and GFCI

Upon arrival, I met with the owners. One of the mast bathroom lav drains was slow but after further inspection, the pop-up assembly was just set too low, not allowing it to drain properly. We discussed options and they chose to replace several pop-up assemblies today. I will be using the Kohler push-stops. In all the 3rd level lavs, I removed the p-traps and pop-up assemblies. Cleaned the sink outlets, installed new assemblies and reset the p-traps. Tested all the drains, cleaned up and showed the owners the final results. Remove old sink pop up drain/grid strainer, install new premium pop up assembly and grid strainer, attach to piping system, test and clean up work area.
