Troubleshoot porch light tripping breaker

I performed a water service replacement. The hole was already pre dug out mostly due to an irrigation company trying to make the repair before realizing it was a main water service. I tested my work thoroughly to ensure there were no further issues.

For this job we replaced the failed pressure regulator, it was getting up to 100 psi and then dropping to 40 psi. I also installed 2 new shut off valves. One before and one after the pressure regulator. The psi on the new regulator is set to 65 psi. I tested all work and left work area clean.

Install new underground service on the home. Install meter disconnect/combo outside with new pvc pipe. Install new service cable to main electrical panel (4/0awg rated for 200a) Install updated grounding system for the home. Permit Fees.

Installed a new GFCI outlet in the garage. Left estimate to install whole home surge protection. The main eletrical panels have surge protectors that are only rated to handle 60,000A of protection. The Standard whole home surge protector created by Eaton is rated up to 108,000A of protection and will sacrifice itself in the process of saving the home if the surge is larger than 108,000A. Eaton will also help replace up to $75,000 of damaged equipment if the surge protector fails.

Arrived for hvac inspection. Customer moved forward and signed up for 2 system maintenance plan. Inspected upstairs furnace. Furnace does not have TE flood protection. Cleared drain line and added drain treatment. Inspected main floor furnace and found condensation pump being over its life span. Recommended pump replacement. Replaced customer provided Aprilaire filters. Customer moved forward with x2 coil cleanings. Cleaned coils and inspected AC pressures. Recommended replacing both starting components to upstairs system. Estimates will be sent via email.

Returned to finish rebuilding the toilet. We replaced the tank to bowl gasket with one that would fit for a Gerber toilet. Reset, the tank, tested and found no additional leaks or errors. While on site we also replaced the backyard hose Bibb from the basement closet. Removed the old gate valve, installed a ball valve that can be reached without a ladder. Turned the water main back on, tested and confirmed no leaks or errors. Toilet rebuild. Shut off water supply, remove water from tank and bowl, disconnect supply line from tank, remove old bolts, pull the tank from the bowl, remove the gasket, disassemble the flush tower, remove the fill valve, install washers on tank to bowl connections, install new brass bolts and gaskets, connect tank to bowl and secure, install new flapper, inspect service stop, install a new supply line and connect, fill tank, make final adjustments for proper flush, and clean up work area. Shut off water supply and drain down home, cut out failed hose bib, che

Removed all connections from kitchen sink. Installed caps on hot and cold water lines. Removed garbage disposal. Set all fixtures underneath kitchen sink. Installed new gas shutoff valve under stove and extended gas line to better access shutoff. Capped gas line and relit water heater.

Today I worked on troubleshooting at GFI that would not reset. It had power and was getting proper voltage, but would not reset when the button was pushed. So what often was to figure out why, and offer solutions based on findings. After conducting the troubleshoot, I found that the GFI was getting proper voltage and had power, but the GFI device itself was no longer working. So I gave the homeowner an option to replace it as it was also not the weather rated GFI.

Replace the circuit board, flame sensor and igniter wiring. Tested and verified the equipment is working properly at this time

For this job, we returned to perform previously quoted work. We installed a new PRV and main shut off. Then we installed a new thermal expansion tank on the system strapped properly to prevent damage. Once complete we tested the pressure again and cleaned up. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.

Customer called us out to replace the guts of the upstairs hall bathroom toilet. On arrival the customer showed me that the fill valve was leaking out the top a lot. I gave the customer multiple options and they chose to have the fill valve and flapper replaced. I removed the old fill valve and flapper and installed the new ones. Adjusted fill valve height and water line. Tested throughly and cleaned up.

Frozen system. We replaced piston for TXV recently and system still freezing over. I checked TXV, removed bulb from suction line and pressure rise , filter was very dirty and single capacitor weak (reading 6.5 on a 7.5 microfarad). System had restriction of air due to dirty filter. Customer replaced filter 2 weeks ago and it was very dirty already. After replaced filter and single capacitor, system works properly. TXV is in working properly as well. No other issue at this visit.

Customer had a drain line that was not draining at all. Upon arrival. I saw that both sides of the kitchen sink was holding water, customer said it did it all of a sudden was not experiencing slow drainage before after running my cable. I didn’t notice that they had black residue or indicator that they do have cast iron I’ll let the customer know that the cast iron was more than likely the issue., after running my cable, the drain was flowing properly with no leaks and no backups present

Not a recall: I have never service this system before today Fixed leaking section of condensation tube. I tested the pump and verified that the repair is not leaking. System is from 1999 and is low on r22 refrigerant. The compressor is struggling. The system is a freezing/flooding risk. Business owner declined estimate to replace the system.

AC for main level is tripping this option is to troubleshoot it After conducting my troubleshoot, I saw no issue with wiring, arching, for any issues otherwise that should be causing the AC to trip. I checked the breaker for the AC and found that the left terminal lug was a little bit loose. After tightening it, it cooled the wire tremendously as before it was blazing hot, and so was the breaker. I recommended the homeowner change the 40A breaker in the meter for the leftmost side AC due to extreme heat coming from both it and the wire, as well as multiple trips on the breaker, which has likely caused internal damage. This option is also to remove the K taps in the meter and replace it with Polaris lug proper rated taps, and replace the disconnect On the far left AC.

This option is to re juve main panel, we will replace all breakers, correct connections and update labeling. All breakers repalce with dual function breakers offering gfi and afci protection. We will also repair garage outlet

Install new circuit for 240v microwave oven

Homeowners mentioned the upstairs toilet was leaking. Inspected the toilet and had old rubber gaskets. Homeowner decided to replace the parts. Shut water off and removed tank. Replaced the parts and reinstalled. Tested and it is working properly.

Today we came out for the main level hvac leaking water and flood basement 2006 trane 1.5 ton with matching furnace. I will not system does not have proper flood protection will add flood note. Found primary drain line backed up. Cleared drain line and treated, performed safety inspection on furnace inspected heat exchanger with digital camera found crack @ 7 o clock tagged furnace unsafe to operate in heating mode due to potential carbon monoxide fumes. Scheduled install supervisor for Saturday morning first window

Upon arrival the UL Ecobee thermostat was. It receiving 24 volt power due to a loose wire at the thermostat. Once I reseated the C and R wires the power was returned to the thermostat and system has been tested system revealing low refrigerant levels suggesting a leak. Adding refrigerant is a temporary solution but it will just leak back out. A leak test will confirm the location of the leak for the proper repair. Electronic leak test confirmed a definitive leak is at the evaporator coil and an intermittent small leak at the outdoor condensing unit but could not pinpoint the exact location. The indoor disconnect also needs to be replaced as it has burn marks from the circuit overheating. Due to the location of the indoor unit not being accessible to replace the evaporator coil without removing the entire air handler, and a leak at the outdoor unit, the repair cost is not recommended and system replacement is the better option since this system is 8 years old and expired its 5 year lim

For this job, I came to complete a quoted repair. Involved running a brand new PVC condensate drain line from the top of the roof all the way to the bottom.
