Technician replaced the existing pressure reducing valve (PRV), which was no longer properly protecting the home’s plumbing system and was allowing water pressure to exceed 80 PSI. A new PRV was installed and adjusted to a safe operating pressure. The thermal expansion tank was tested and confirmed to be functioning properly. The old dishwasher supply line in the basement was permanently capped off. A new dishwasher water line was installed beneath the kitchen sink, along with two new shut-off valves. one dedicated to the kitchen faucet ( free of charge ) and one for the dishwasher. The system was pressurized, air was purged from the lines, and all connections were thoroughly tested. No leaks were found at this time.

On today’s visit I met with the homeowner. The homeowner expressed an issue with a garbage disposal. The garbage disposal collar was rusted as well as the inside of the disposal. I cut the breaker off to the disposal and installed a new 3/4 hp customer supplied garbage disposal. The garbage disposal has a new collar as well. I cut the breaker back on and leak tested and made sure the disposal was operating properly. The new disposal is running and draining with no leaks. The homeowner is satisfied with the work that has been completed.

Homeowner has a wet spot on the ceiling in the kitchen. The spot is directly below the master bathroom. Upon cutting the drywall where the spot is, I found the drain for the master shower. The drain is leaking whenever the shower is ran. Upon cutting the drain out, I found that the entire shower drain cup is cracked and split in two, this is what caused the leak. Cleaned flange for shower. Installed new shower drain. Installed approximately 8” of new 2” pressure PVC. Connected onto existing drainage system via a mechanical coupling

Customer called us out today because their bathroom outlets were not working. We did a troubleshoot and found that the two master bath outlets. The front porch outlet and the attic outlet are all on the same circuit. I found a bad connection in the outlet in the attic and replaced it with a GFCI. The outdoor outlet was not a Weather rated outlet so we replaced it with a weather rated one. We also replaced both outlets in the master bath to just round everything out. During my troubleshoot, I know that there was no surge protection and that the main panel had double tapped neutrals we added protection to both panels. The main panel is coming off the dryer circuit, and in the subpanel that is on its own 50 amp breaker, I installed a new neutral bar with offsets in the main panel, connected it with lugs to the old neutral bar with a four ought cable.. I then moved over neutral circuits to the new bar so that there are no longer any double tapped to neutrals.

Technician disassembled the master shower valve and replaced the existing Kohler cartridge. After installation, the water system was pressurized and the shower was thoroughly tested to verify proper operation and confirm there were no leaks from the valve or plumbing connections. During testing, it was determined that water is leaking through the shower tile assembly and into the crawlspace below. At this time, the plumbing system is operating as intended.

Upon arrival spoke with customer about hook up new fridge. 1/4 in copper supply line is ran through cabinets and the compression ferrule was in the wrong spot to make a good connection. Unable to add ice maker box as the fridge is on an outside wall on a slab. Gave options to add hammer arrestor to valve to bring install up to code. Customer declined at this time and understands this repair holds no warranty due to the system not being brought up to code. Cut copper supply line behind fridge and used a brass compression fitting to transition to a steel braided supply line to connect to the fridge. All work was tested and verified no leaks and functionality.

Today I came out due to upstairs system not working. System is a 2024 Daikin Air Handler located in attic servicing upstairs level. Upon arrival system was off at thermostat. I turned system to cool and called for demand. Indoor unit came on, but outdoor unit did not. Opened it up and saw 3 flashing dots and the code was a short cycle lockout. This was due to a stick being wedged between fan blade and rubber guard. This was not allowing fan to operate, causing compressor to over heat and lock itself out to prevent any more problems. I removed stick and after a short delay, system kicked on and is cooling. I found the condenser coils to be impacted with dirt and debris. Contactor is heavily pitted and compressor has high start up amp draws. It’s rated for 88amps, but it’s actually using 101.6 amps. This means the compressor is over amping itself each time system comes on. Drain line is improperly slopped and has a couple bellies throughout. After going over all findings and options, cus

A comprehensive inspection of the electrical grounding system was performed to evaluate the safety and integrity of the existing grounding and bonding components. The inspection included a thorough investigation of the electrical service grounding electrode system, grounding electrode conductors, bonding connections, and metallic piping systems. During the inspection, it was determined that no grounding rods have been driven into the earth to serve as grounding electrodes. It was also found that the water heater pressure relief valve is not bonded, and the hot and cold water piping systems are not bonded together. These deficiencies result in an inadequate grounding and bonding system that does not provide a continuous and effective path for fault current, creating potential electrical safety hazards. Recommendations include: the installation of properly sized and installed grounding rods in accordance with applicable electrical codes, bonding of the water heater pressure relief va

Joshua Reyes delivered one of the best service experiences I’ve had with any home service company. From the moment he arrived, he was punctual, professional, and exceptionally knowledgeable. He took the time to thoroughly inspect our water heater, clearly explained what he found, walked me through my options without any pressure, and completed the work with outstanding attention to detail. What impressed me most was his pride in his craftsmanship and his commitment to doing the job right—not just quickly. He treated my home with respect, answered every question patiently, and left the work area spotless. It’s rare to find someone who combines technical expertise with such outstanding customer service. Joshua represents exactly what every company hopes for in a field technician. If I were in leadership, I’d use him as the standard for training and customer experience. TE Certified has earned a customer for life because of professionals like Joshua. I will absolutely request him for future service and recommend both Joshua and TE Certified to family, friends, and neighbors.
