Replaced several outlets throughout kitchen area

Installed new Rheem 50 gallon gas water heater with extended warranty anode rod kit for a 10 year warranty. Install include safety pan, leak alarm, thermal expansion tank and tank strap, upgraded vent pipe to code compliant B-vent and new hot and cold isolation ball valves. System was pressurized and tested for proper operation.

Customer had a leak from the upstairs master bathroom into the living room below. Customer stated prior to the issue they had used the bath. Opened ceiling and found no water leaking when a stress test was performed on the tub. This included filling the tub, running the jets, and forcing water into the over flow. Pump is failing and ejected black chunks when the jets were used. The caulking has failed along the edge of the tub where it meets the floor. It appears that the water made its way through this area. However it is recommended replacing the tub due to the pump failing and being a future leak source with more damage.

Came in today because drain pan was filled with water. Costumer has a 90% system which also condensates when running on heat mode. When testing system found that condensate pump had failed and was backing up water indoor inducer motor causing inducer motor to cycle and over heat. Let costumer know about this issues and presented options, also attached quote to this email. Costumer has home warranty and will try to run repairs through contractors first. Arrived to the customer’s home for a leaking garbage disposal. The homeowner has lived in the property for approximately four years and inherited the existing unit. The disposal had recently begun leaking from the electrical housing, which is a clear indicator of internal failure and presents a potential electrical hazard. At that point, replacement is the safest and most effective solution. During my evaluation, I also inspected the under sink, plumbing and found that the hot and cold angle stops for the faucet were older and showing signs of wear in addition, the dishwasher supply stop was outdated, and the dishwasher supply hose was due for replacement. Per the customer’s approval, we replaced the garbage disposal, updated the hot and cold stops, replaced the dishwasher supply stop, and installed a new dishwasher supply hose. All components have been installed, tested, and are working properly at this time.

On today’s visit I separated the double tapped neutrals and landed them on their own individual terminals. I Waldo fixed the exposed junction box by replacing the 2 gang box with a single gang box to allow the current device and plate that was there to cover the whole box.

Cap off gas line in basement

Client had received a higher than normal water bill. He showed me a toilet upstairs that was letting water pass by the fill valve. I went to the water heater and turned it on as I monitored the water pressure. The pressure did not rise much until I turned off the supply valve for the toilet in question. Once off the pressure rose from near 70psi to over 100psi. This build up in pressure was causing the fill valve on the upstairs toilet to allow water to continuously let water run into the tank. I showed client how the existing thermal expansion tank had failed and recommended replacing it. I replaced failed thermal expansion tank and brought up to current local code. Installed new ball valve on water heater cold side. Rebuilt upstairs toilet. Pressurized the home, removed air from the lines and tested both repairs for proper operation with no issues. I tested the pressure again while the heater was running with only a 2-3 rise in pressure. The new toilet fill valve is closin

Move expansion tank and install new expansion tank so it is securely strapped to the wall and pressurized to match the house pressure. Rework copper above water heater to install two new ball valves to replace the failed gate valves. Replace two hose bibbs and replace both shutoff valves for the hose Bibb to replace failed gate valves. Install a new 1/4 turn emergency stop on main floor powder room toilet.

Replaced filters. Cleaned drains, flame sensor and inducer port. Checked all operations. Noticed dryer vent booster is noisy and vibrating. Dryer vent not hooked up to termination kit on roof. Quoted replacing or cleaning. Dispatch will schedule cleaning. Second floor drain doesn’t have good fall.

Conducted troubleshoot of master bathroom heated floors.

Performed pre sold work. Replaced 3 duct runs. Repaired condensate drain. Added condensate pump. Added wet switch. Repaired fluepipe to double wall. Cleaned blower wheel and cleaned condenser coil. Tested drain in unit. Unit is operational at this time. Customer paid with credit card. Make all repairs necessary to restore the unit to full health and eliminate all other concerns.

Replace gfci receptacle in the front

Homecare inspection 2 systems. Checked electrical components, checked heat exchanger, checked blower wheels and cabins, replaced filters, flushed drains, tested condensate pump, added pan treat tabs, checked temp rise, tested heating operation at thermostat. Found cracked heat exchanger and no wet switch for upstairs system. Found main floor system with all single wall flue pipe and a cracked elbow, no flood protection, and dirty outdoor coil. Quoted repairs and advised customer not to run heat upstairs due to cracked heat exchanger as it may cause unsafe conditions in home. Customer declined repairs for flue pipe on main floor system, taped up crack in elbow with foil tape in order to reduce any flue gases getting out of system but still highly recommend having flue pipe repaired.

Customer has leak coming from the master bathroom group that is leaking into the family room ceiling and cause moisture into the ceiling, wants to check for growth in the floors and the ceiling, I scheduled for service tech to come perform a leak search, and find out where the leak is coming from also scheduled for the water mitigation company to come out to check for growth as well. Customer had a bathtub that was backing up due to hair and bathroom sink, so I snaked the tub upstairs and was able to remove hair and after testing the tub drains perfectly as well. I was able to remove the hair from the downstairs sink near the kitchen, but after removing the stopper, it was heavily corroded and rusted, and the stopper snapped off so I gave an extra discount for that as well as scheduled for service to come fix

I removed a 2 gallon and a 4 gallon thermal expansion tank as both had failed. I repiped the cold inlet and installed one 4 gallon thermal expansion tank which is all that is required. The tank was secured per local code. I also completed a leak repair in the same area. I removed two push to connect fittings and installed proper press fittings. The system was pressurized and tested for leaks with no issues. I also diagnosed a failed ceramic cartridge on one of the master bathroom lavatory sinks. I will need to identify the cartridge and email an estimate for replacement. I also prepared and emailed estimates for new water heater options. At this time the water heater vent pipe travels into an existing chimney. Client is going to have a certified chimney expert come out to evaluate whether there is a liner installed.

Installed a new kitchen sink and a hot and cold stuff valve. Checked for leaks and insured proper operation. Water pressure at 60 psi, but the expansion tank is compromised. Left an estimate as our client had plans this evening.

Homeowners garbage disposal had failed and was leaking from the bottom. Gave price to replace with a 1/2 hp disposal. Shut power off and removed disposal from the sink. Installed the new sink bracket and connected electrical to the new unit. Installed and tested for leaks and for proper function. The under sink pump in the basement is leaking. Left a quote to replace the pump.

Homeowner has a faucet in the hallway bathroom that is leaking from the handle on the right. Gave options to repair and replace. Remove the existing wide spread faucet and install new customer supplied widespread faucet. Pressurize, fill the sink and test for operation.

For this job we took down an old chandelier in living room and put a fan rated box for new chandelier, the new chandelier is 150lb. Hung new chandelier.
