Today I Came Out To Address The Customers Concern Of The A/C Not Working. I Met With The Customer And He Showed Me What The HVAC Tech Showed Him. I Was Going To Perform A Troubleshoot But The Customer Had Not Had His Electrical HomeCare Visit Done Yet. I Performed A HomeCare Inspection Instead And Took A Look At The Circuit During It. I Determined The Breaker Was Sending The Correct Power Out To The Unit And Disconnect. For The HomeCare I Determined All Of The Sections Filled Out On The Electrical Safety Inspection Sheet. I Went Over All Of My Findings With The Customer In Great Detail. I Provided Hand Written Options For All Of The Repairs. He Agreed To The Panel Restoration, Surge Protector, GFCI Breakers, And Smoke Detectors Initially. The Smoke Detectors Were Removed Because The Downstairs One Is Not Wired. I Provided An Estimate To Run A Wire For It, But The Customer And I Spoke About Inter-Connected Battery Spoke Detectors And He Liked That Idea More Than Cutting Drywall. I Laid
Received call regarding issue with disposal (strained sound when in use). Upon arrival, found disposal to be actively leaking from bottom of unit itself. Unit had clearly begun to rust out, and had been leaking for an unknown amount of time, as there was obviously some damage to the interior of the cabinets. Immediately following this discovery, asked homeowners to lead me to the basement, wherein we all immediately noticed multiple stains across drop ceiling panels underneath the kitchen sink. After displacing these panels to inspect the underlying piping to rule out additional variables, found mold present in a roughly 4’ radius from the hot and cold risers to the kitchen faucet. Alerted homeowners and referred Property Medics for consultation. While in basement, noted two other, smaller, and less severe stains on ceiling panels a fair distance from the disposal leak. Removed these panels as well and discovered a slight hole in some flex duct, and some separation and saturat
For this job we removed 3 existing shower valves and rebuild a toilet tank. One valve was in the master bath, the second one was in the hall bath and the third one was in the guest bath. In the master bath and hall bath we had to open the tile as well as the drywall on the back side to accommodate for the new valves. The guest bath we only had to cut drywall to remove and install new valve. In the master bath we also rebuild the toilet tank due to constantly running. Installed new Delta Multichoice valves and secured inside the wall. Verified no leaks and installed customer supplied shower trim. Due to the depth of the shower valve install in the hall bathroom, we will have to order longer trim screws and sleeve and return to install the trim once they come in.
Arrived on site to troubleshoot pool panel not working. Upon arrival, the homeowner showed us where a relay was tripping for the voltage. We performed a troubleshoot and concluded at the circuit board in the pool panel has been damaged. He recommended to the homeowner to call a pool company out to resolve the issue. For today’s visit, we installed surge protection for each panel including pool panel. We installed low voltage surge for incoming internet service. We replaced a 60 amp breaker feeding furnace and relocated it to a different location in panel so as not to attach to affected bus bar. Due to the condition of bus bar it does not come with a warranty. Everything is working upon departure.
Initial observations of UL system revealed that most of the supply registers are installed in the middle of the rooms as opposed to the outside walls by the windows to account for the heat load transfer. This creates inefficiency. One room has the supply less than 5’ from the return which does not allow adequate airflow within the room. Further evaluation revealed the ductwork is not installed properly as the trunk lines do not have a cap to build static pressu which allows the air to Hilda up and disperse through the ducts more effectively. Air is lazy and takes the path of least resistance. If you don’t allow proper static buildup, the air will not flow through specific ducts well enough to cool adequately creating unequally conditioned spaces. The 16x25x1 filter was excessively clogged and replaced today. This too will create airflow restriction causing inefficiency. The filter are supposed to be replaced every 3 months. The furnace and coil in the attic are not level and water app
JC is very knowledgeable and knows how to accomplish the work without burdening the customer with unnecessary repairs.
On today’s visit I met with the homeowner. The homeowner expressed an issue with a non operational garbage disposal. The homeowner also had a leak under the sink in the master bathroom. I wrote estimates to perform work and received approval. I replaced the old garbage disposal with a new 1/2hp disposal . I tested for leaks and verified that the disposal was working properly. I also fixed the leak on the upstairs master bathroom sink. I did a super clean up after performing work. The homeowner is now happy and satisfied with the work completed.
Troubleshoot tripping breaker
Installed an outlet for the disposal and connected the cooktop.
Customer noticed a water stain in the drop ceiling blow the kitchen, upon inspection we found that the existing trap in the drop ceiling bellow had a bad glue joint, the existing setup did not meet current code and had to be modified, we cut the abs before the trap glued on a 1-1/2 pvc coupling using abs to pvc transition glue, we then used a street 45 and a 90 to connect to the new vertical piece we had stubbed out, we then used two 90s and tee under the cabinet so we could connect the new tubular trap, we then ran water approximately 15 minutes while we were cleaning up to ensure there were no leaks and the drain was functioning properly

Today I Came Out To Address The Customers Concern Of The Door Bell Wire Being Short And Setting It Up. I Met With The Customer And He Showed Me The Door Bell And Chime. I Went Over The Agenda And Provided An Estimate To Install The Door Bell. He Agreed. I Confirmed Which Wires Were Being Used From The Cat6 And Terminated Connections On The Door Bell. I Turned The Breaker Back On And Tested Everything For Functionality. I Went Over Everything With The Customer And Set Up His Phone App To The Door Bell. I Informed Him About The Internet Connectivity Note On The Invoice And Answered All Questions He Had. On today’s visit I met with the homeowner. The homeowner expressed an issue with a leaking disposal. I wrote estimate to replace with a customer supplied disposal. I received approval and cut the breaker off then started the install. I removed the old disposal and install a new 1/3 h c/s disposal. Performed maintenance on three systems. Noticed systems have no water safeties on them. Blower motor is leaking oil for upstairs system. Biological growth growing in systems. Basement system is low on refrigerant. Restored flame sensors, cleared pressure switch tubings, cleaned condensate drains, replaced all filters, blower wheels are clean, run capacitors are in manufacture specs, dual capacitors are in manufacturer specs, contactors are good, repaired condensate drains outside, and condenser coils are clean. Tested systems in heating and cooling. Customer approved adding water safeties to attic systems, replacing upstairs blower motor that’s leaking oil, and adding UV lights to systems. Met with the owner and checked the parts that were delivered for the toilets. I began rebuilding the first toilet but found the dual flush stems are too short for the new valves. Their service was exceptional, the techs who came out (Stephen M. for plumbing and Enrique C. for HVAC) are all professional, friendly, and patient.
