HVAC condensation drain was clogged and backing up into customers home, line is ran to the exterior of the home. I was able to vacuum out the stoppage and clear line. Tested line , line is clear and flowing.
Performed 1 system cooling diagnostics for an older carrier system that cools the mainfloor. Findings: the mainfloor unit had a failed outdoor capacitor. The blower motor capacitor was near complete failure. The condensation pump is very old and needs to be replaced. The system was overcharged with refrigerant. The system doesn't have an emergency drain pan under it. With the homeowner permisson I replaced the capacitor for the condenser (outdoor unit). I will return Tuesday to install a new pump and blower motor capacitor. Upstairs system: with the homeowners permission I looked at the upstairs system: Findings: upstairs system is a 2014 Carrier ac system. The supply plenum is internally insulated which is a breeding ground for biological growth. The supply plenum needs to replaced with an externally insulated supply plenum. The blower motor and blower motor capacitor are near complete failure. The outdoor capacitor is corroded and should be replaced. The emergency drain pan is
Joshua did a great job. He’s very knowledgeable and professional..
Upon arrival spoke with customer about his water heater that started leaking last night. Water was off to the home upon arrival. Heater was from 2005. Carpet was wet around the unit. Gave options. Removed existing heater from the system. Installed new 50 gallon 10 year warranty heater in a pan with a water alarm. Installed new piping, ball valve and expansion tank mounted to a bracket. Installed new vent piping. Reconnected t&p line and added low point drain. Replaced gas valve, installed new sediment trap and gas whip. Insulated heater and added valve tag. Put bonding clamps on the system. Extended t&p discharge line on the exterior of the home. Lit pilot and set water heater to 120 degrees. All work was tested for leaks and functionality.
Attempt to clear laundry drain blockage Customer called us out for a laundry drain on the 3rd floor that was backing up and caused water leak from the 2nd floor ceiling by a light fixture. Upon arrival customer stated this is the first time they are experiencing this issue. We went up to the laundry drain and noticed the condensation drain pipe from the ac system was tied in. We tested the rest of the drains for any signs of a blockage and there is proper flow in the drains. The customer agreed to attempt to run a cable machine in the drain to restore proper flow. We ran our cable machine in the drain and after multiple attempts we were successful. We tested the drain by doing a few washing cycles and after each cycle we did not see any water back up whatsoever. The Customer is satisfied and thank you for choosing Te Certified.

For this job, I worked on replacing a 150 amp electrical disconnect
Technician arrived on site to replace the outdoor condenser fan motor with the correct OEM replacement part. After installation, the condenser fan motor continued producing an abnormal loud noise during operation. Further diagnostics revealed an intermittent voltage drop at the outdoor disconnect, with line voltage fluctuating from approximately 240V down to 230V under load. This unstable power supply is affecting proper motor operation and is the likely cause of the abnormal noise. Due to the electrical issue being outside the scope of the HVAC equipment, an electrician has been scheduled to inspect the disconnect and incoming power supply on Monday between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Homeowner was informed of the findings and the next steps. System was left in its current operating condition pending the electrical inspection.
Performed spring maintenance on2 systems. Replaced filters, checked blower wheel for built up dirt/dust, cleaned flame sensor, cleared inducer port, tested hot surface igniter, took delta Ts, cleared drain line, tested safety switch, tested all electrical components, tightened all electrical connections, took running volts/amps, checked refrigerant pressures, and monitored systems operations. UPSTAIRS findings Return: 4x8” 680cfm Supplies: 2x6” 1x4” 2x8” 520cfm 2T AC will need at least 800cfm air duct design. We are short of 120cfm on return and 280cfm short on supply. Which is creating a lot of condensation at grills. No wet safety switch No Ss1 safety switch. Need more ductworks or downsize the HVAC from 2T to 1.5T. MAIN FLOOOR findings: Dirty condenser coil Dirty air ducts No Ss1 safety switch No wet safety switch.
Homeowner has a loud vibrational noise whenever he runs water anywhere throughout the house. The noise sounds like a low hum, and is akin to an engine running, and can be heard throughout the house. I found that the noise is the result of the pressure regulator. The pressure regulator is original to the house, and I believe the diaphragm has worn out, causing it to flutter when water is ran. The pressure regulator is still holding proper pressure, despite the loud noise. Cut open Sheetrock to expose pressure regulator. Cut out and removed pressure regulator. Cut out and removed 3/4” main shutoff valve and 1/2” hose shutoff valve. Cleaned and prepped copper. Installed new 3/4” quarter turn main shutoff valve. Installed approximately 4” of new 3/4” type L copper into a tee. Installed new 1/2” quarter turn hose shutoff valve. Installed approximately 8” of new 1/2” type L copper. Installed new double union Watts 25AUB pressure regulator. Installed approximately 6” of new 3/4” type L coppe

I came out to investigate an issue with an outlet that was tripping the breaker. This was a very old outsideoutlet, which also had a large gap due to its placement in the siding. The outlet itself had rusted apart and fell apart as I took it out of the wall. This was what was causing your GFCI breaker to trip. I replaced the outlet and put on a new cover as well as adding additional gasket to cover that gap and putting sealant around the outlet. There was another outlet that was not working, which we installed about a year ago, which had gone bad. This rarely happens but when it does we warranty our work so I replaced it with a new GFCI outlet and now it’s working great. Everything else looked very good within that outlet and within the outlet the wire was pulled from. For that circuits with your outside outlet on it, it also has the garage refrigerator as well as some of the outlets inside the house. If you have problems with that breaker tripping, especially if you put any load on

Installed new 75 gallon gas water heater in garage with new 1/2in inline Grundfos Alpha series recirculating pump. Replaced all check valves and isolating shutoffs as well as added new thermal expansion tank. Reworked all piping to accomodate the new water tank and set in a new drip pan. Modified venting and installed double wall vent pipe due to water heater being in the garage. Also reworked piping under master bath lavatory sink to install missing thermostatic mixing valve that had been previously removed. Tested all work for leaks and proper function. Set water temp to 120°F per manufacturer recommendation.

Homeowner has a wet spot on the ceiling above the fridge. Homeowner has had pinhole leaks on the copper water system in the past. Cutting into open Sheetrock and located a 1/2” copper water line. The copper water line has 2 pinhole leaks approximately 14” apart. Shut down water system and drained water system down. Cut and removed compromised section of water piping. Cleaned and prepped copper and installed 2 PEXxPRESS adapters. Installed a section of PEX approximately 14” in length. Pressurized water system and tested for leaks. Purged air from water system via multiple faucets.
Found an issue with power, fluctuation, and flickering, install the surge protector and quoted a service upgrade. Glad we could help find the problem and give you the solution you needed.
This option is to troubleshoot the electrical system to find out why it has no power After a thorough evaluation of the electrical system and troubleshooting what I was called out for, it was discovered that the neutral on the Georgia Power side dropped underground, so Georgia Power has put a temporary box under the meter to stabilize the electricity in the home, and this option is to upgrade, fix, and bring the home up to code electrically. This option is to install surge protection at the panel, replace the outdoor meter, run a new 200 amp rated service wire to the current panel location, replace the panel with a new updated QO square D 200 amppanel, install 2 smoke detectors in the 2 bedrooms per code, reinstall the surge protector that we are installing today once we change the panel, installing new dual function safety breakers, and update the grounding system from 1 ground rod to 2
Replace laundry room light with new customer supplied fixture. Replace (2) lights in basement with customer supplied fixture.
For this job, I worked on installing a high frequency GFI and replacing dual function breaker to accommodate a high frequency motor driven fridge
Replace bathroom exhaust fan
We were here a week or so ago and we Redeviced a circuit because it was tripping intermittently. After doing this apparently the breaker has tripped again with no real cause. I was unable to replicate the tripping as well. We went ahead and replaced the breaker today and I advised him that if issues continue, to unplug EVERYTHING that’s in the circuit and slowly go one by one plugging things back in so we can determine if it’s a circuit issue or a device issue. Breaker was replaced, tested, and is working properly.
