Troubleshoot EV circuit

On today’s visit I met with the customer. The customer expressed an issue with a clogged toilet. The customer also had an issue with a screaming fill valve that was recently replaced. I wrote estimates to perform work and received approval. I augered the toilet and successfully cleared the clog. I flushed several times to confirm the toilet was functioning correctly. I also swapped out the fill valve with a new one and tested for leaks . The fill valve no longer makes screaming sound. The customer is happy and satisfied at this time. Perform draining clearing on toilet. Drain clear only. Does not include repairs or main line clearing. No warranty on drain clearing.

Perform three system home care. Put labels on outdoor units and outdoor disconnects/breakers. Provided homeowner options for repair. Duct runs for the main floor. Replacement/relocate. 3-10 s and 1-8. Dampers for two vents near front of house 8 inch dampers. Recommend Flood protection for all systems. Upstairs drain lines are in poor condition, explain the current configuration to the homeowner. Replacing capacitors for all three units. Replacing contactor for the main floor. Contactor for the main floor was heavily oxidized, as well as several capacitors. Capacitor for the second floor was almost to the zero mark. Homeowner approved replacing capacitors as well as the contactor today. Homeowner will follow up if he decides to go through with any other recommendations. Was called in to diagnose a system that is not cooling. Found capacitor to be out of spec. Did not observe any overheating on the compressor when checking the windings. Replace the capacitor and tested the equipment. Found an open on the run winding, typical running amps for a compressor should be around 5 to 8. Current running amps on this compressor is showing .71 when the compressor attempts to start, amperage jumps up to one amp temporarily. Homeowner wants second opinion from another company.

Customer called us out to install new ring smart doorbell Ran new doorbell wire and circuit

Perform ductwork repair. Found several spots under the house where the ductwork came loose. There is a 12 inch duct that splits into two eights where one of the eights had came loose. Replaced 8 inch duct and sealed properly on both sides. Where that 8 inch dog terminates it splits into twos six’s. One of those 6 inch ducts goes behind the dining room table. The other 6 inch duct goes to the laundry room. The 6 inch dog to the laundry room appears to be intact, but where it splits at the Y and goes behind the dining room table was severed completely with holes in the duct. Replaced two sections of duct for today. Tested for airflow explain to the homeowner. We cannot dispose of old ductwork because it is a biohazard. I placed existing ductwork into a black trash bag. Homeowner will throw it away with his garbage.

SERVICE CALL: upon arrival homeowner stated the second floor hvac system Is not working properly on cooling mode. After complete troubleshooting I found the hvac system trane 12 years old is in poor maintenance conditions the blower motor is overheating the run capacitor is out of spec from manufacture blower wheel is highly impacted no t e flood protection package. Test outdoor condenser condenser coil it’s dirty test dual run capacitor is out of spec from manufacture check condenser coil is highly impacted and refrigerant charge is low and pressures are not accurate life expectancy from manufacture are 10 to 12 years due to aged And conditions I recommend to consider to upgrade system at near future Homeowner is aware of the conditions of the system. Troubleshoot light not working properly 2 x 4 fluorescent light fixture is on a dimmer switch need to check compatibility meaning dimmable lamps or ballast. Needed to replace light with dimmable bypass lamps.

The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Tech cleared pvc drain line, washed outdoor coil, and added 3lbs of r-410a refrigerant to system, did a quick leak search to cancel out any refrigerant leaks in system. Replaced blower motor, replace blower capacitor, and replaced control board. System came back on. Checked pressures and system is low on R22 refrigerant. Recommend replacement.

Fixed leak on customers roof drains

Customer is having issues with her upstairs system not cooling. Noticed there is no airflow due to defective control board and blower motor. I also noticed run capacitor is out of manufacture specs, blower wheel is dirty, gas sediment trap isn’t up to code, no water safety on drain, recommend wet switch, contactor is at manufacturer specs, Arma flex insulation is poor, and standing pressure for R22 refrigerant is low. Recommend replacing system due to age, cost of repairs being high, being out of warranty, and it being low on R22. Customer wants to replace blower motor, control board, and run capacitor. Customer is having issues with his main floor not cooling. Noticed dual capacitor has completely failed, contactor at manufacturer specs, no water safety on floor, flue pipe isn’t up to code. Replaced water heater, basement bathroom toilet, and basement bathroom flange

Arrived customer wanted pricing to replace customer supplied thermostat. Installed main floor thermostat, and cycle system on. Tried installing second floor thermostat. Thermostat wiring are shorted. Orange blue and red are getting power. Electrician needs to run new thermostat wire. Once thermostat wire is ran we could return to install second floor thermostat.
