I performed a troubleshoot on a garage outlet not working. The outlet was not tied onto the same circuit as the other garage outlet. They had some work done in the rooms above the garage and I was able to determine that the wire powering the garage opener was tied into a jbox that was buried in the wall. We decided to run a new power from a switch above the garage straight to the garage opener. The old power was capped off in the new box. There were 3 outlets upstairs that were incorrectly wired and caused no power to all 3. I redid the taps, and all outlets upstairs are working now. The homeowner elected to reinstall the old devices so we are able to warranty the connections, however we are unable to warranty the devices as we did not provide them. New dual function 15 amp breaker was installed on the extended circuit. Everything was tested and is working properly again.

Toilet leaking from corroded bolts. Removed and replaced the bolts. Filled the toilet and tested. No further leaks.

Replaced existing pullout spray hose for kitchen faucet with new. Unclogged bathroom sink by clearing debris from pop-up assembly. Ran water and tested all work.

Repaired main water line and reconnected to the pvc irrigation valve.

For this job we installed a pump canister with a pump to get any water that collects down in the crawlspace. I picked the lowest spot in the crawlspace to install the can and pump. We dug down about 30 inches to install the canister. We ran about 50 ft of pvc pipe to the exterior of the home where the pump will discharge the water when it kicks on. Tested all work and left work area clean.

Arrived at customers home to address condensating around duct. The leak from condensation is happening from a metal pipe duck for an upstairs vent. The metal ducts running along the ceiling of the basement are all not insulated from the point they enter the wall all the way to their boots. The particular duct that is condensating into the ceiling, does appear to have insulation, but not all the way to the boot. Recommendation would be to cut out a bit of the ceiling in order to expose the end of that duct run as well as the boot and add installation. I would recommend changing all ducts from metal to flex. Customer wanted to insulate area of duct near boot to try and and mitigate leaking in that area near the wall. That section has been insulated and I put up some plastic for the area until the customer can repair it or until they decide to demo the ceiling as a whole.

Replaced hot/cold shut off valve for lavatory faucet in master bathroom.

Upon inspection of the outlet that is not working in the garage. I found that the wire came out immediately when I pulled the outlet out. Chances are the rest of the devices in the house are the same so this option is to replace just the singular outlet in the garage because it is the one having a current issue. This will only be a band aid fix on a bigger picture issue, and we will likely be back out here in the near future

Installed new 6 inch duct run, made sure everything was properly sealed. Customer is going to replace vent. Ceiling damaged is not caused by us was caused due to a duct run in attic that only half of it was insulated. Other repairs were quoted 7/24. Customer did not proceed forward, with any other estimates at this time.

Received call about leak underneath kitchen sink. Upon arrival, noticed ample warping in floorboards surrounding area, but no significant damage in kitchen cabinet. Took a hairy adventure into the crawl space, where I found significant cobweb mold on floor joists and subfloor, but could not gain access to piping behind block wall. Recommended property medics as a demo/restoration & mold mitigation team. Once access to piping has been gained, we can return to provide a quote for repair. While in crawlspace, noticed that the entirety of this wing of the home appears to have been plumbed in CPVC, and that there are significant pockets of moisture throughout the crawlspace (puddling all around). Did not notice any leaks from piping while in crawlspace. Nevertheless, moisture issue is significant, and indicates drainage issue; and is a breeding ground (environment) ideal for various pests. Replaced tankless water heater in crawlspace. Converted to condensing tankless unit. Installed new shut off for hot/cold water lines, new thermal expansion tank, insulation for hot/cold water lines, new condensation concentric vent/termination, and new gas line with gas shut off.

Replaced leaking low boy water heater in hallway utility closet with new 38 gallon low boy and all new copper piping and fittings as well as new strap and expansion tank. New pan installed below and original shutoff valve kept due to not being able to shut water off to unit. Water turned on and all tested to ensure proper function.

Customer says coil is leaking water. Inspected carrier furnace located in basement which services whole house. Found drain line p trap restricted. Found outdoor coil restricted and slightly low on r410. Found circuit board with corrosion. Informed customer circuit board needs to be replaced. Informed customer and customer moved forward with repairs. Customer joined TE’s home care plan. Super cleaned coil and added 1lbs of r410. System is cooling at this time.

Replaced ceiling fan in master bed

For this job, I completed a quoted repair . This involved , providing roofing penetration with vent cap & flash roofing in to allow water heater & furnace to vent correctly. We properly connected the flue pipe as well as secured and sealed the connections. Thank you so much for choosing TE certified.

Replaced first compressor and it turned out to be bad from the supply house. Came by the next day with a new compressor tested it at the supply house and it was in good condition. Also swapped out the capacitor prior to working on this system the unit had a capacitor for 30/3 MFD when the compressor and fan needed a 35/5. Went ahead and fixed that up and put the correct capacitor rating for the parts. Took out old drier filter and the faulty compressor. Let nitrogen flow while I brazed the compressor and drier filter back in. System held 320 psi on the nitrogen test. Pulled a vacuum and the system pulled under 500 microns. Put 7lbs of refrigerant and swapped out capacitor. Ran the system for 30 minutes and adjusted pressures to target Subcool of 11. System is now operating and cooling the house. Temperature inside should drop about one degree per hour. Left estimate for 10” bypass for unit and an estimate for a two system Homecare. Did notify homeowner that this is a single stage syste
