Jesus was awesome! He figured out the problem with our fan fixed it! Super nice guy and great service!
Responded to the home to diagnose an upstairs bedroom ceiling fan that was not operating. Upon inspection, found that the wall switch had been backstabbed and the switch leg conductor had come loose from the back of the switch, causing the fan to lose power. Further inspection revealed a physical crack running along the back of the switch, indicating the device was damaged. Discussed repair options with the homeowner, including replacing the damaged switch or bypassing the switch to provide constant power to the ceiling fan since it is controlled by a remote. The homeowner elected to bypass the switch. The switch leg was disconnected from the switch and spliced to provide constant power to the ceiling fan. The existing switch was left in place in the wall box for appearance but is no longer connected to any conductors and has no electrical function. The remote was reprogrammed, and the ceiling fan was tested and is now operating properly with full functionality through the remote contr
Performed a pool and reset toilet to swap out wax ring that was an old and allowed water to leak from the base of the toilet onto the floor. Foster toilet 13 times to ensure we’re not getting any more leaks and we are all set here.
This visit is not a recall. Upon arrival, I notified dispatch that the HomeCare inspection needed to be scheduled and proceeded with a complete system inspection. I performed a full evaluation of both systems, including checking electrical components, refrigerant operation, airflow, condensate drainage, safety controls, blower operation, thermostat operation, and overall system performance. During the inspection, I found the upstairs system’s condensate drain line was improperly installed with insufficient pitch, causing water to back up in the drain line. The upstairs system also lacked both primary and auxiliary condensate safety devices, leaving the home vulnerable to potential water damage in the event of a drain blockage. Both outdoor condenser coils were heavily impacted with dirt and debris, significantly restricting airflow and reducing overall system efficiency. The homeowner also mentioned that the main floor system, which is zoned together with the basement, was struggling
Replaced water heater, reworked hot and cold lines, replaced expansion tank, isolation valve, trap primer rework with isolation valve, and added a drain pan. This unit will come with a standard 6 year tank warranty
Upon arrival, customer notified me that the AC is not operating as intended. Customer notified me that he changed the capacitor at the AC unit. And turned the breaker on at the electrical panel and everything held as intended when the key at the disconnect was removed. Once the key was reinstalled to where it past power to the AC unit that caused the breaker to trip. We’ll go through and determine if there’s any existing fault on the electrical system and let the customer know exactly what is taking place with this circuit.
We supply sink faucet and we install. Run cable in drain fixture. Customer had a stuck stopper inside drain. Sink was not draining. Sink handle was also broken and not turning for cold water. Customer went with option to replace whole lavatory faucet fixture, replacing drain/stopper assembly. We supplied faucet fixture and new supply lines. Also ran cable inside drain. Pulled back hair on cable. Tested all connections for water leaks. No signs of system backing up. Replacement successful. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
Responded to a thermostat not working concern. Upon arrival, I tested the thermostat and confirmed it was operating properly. Further diagnostics revealed the issue was with the Honeywell zone damper serving the upstairs floor. The damper had failed and was stuck in the closed position, preventing proper operation. After discussing my findings and repair options with the customer, they approved replacement of the faulty Honeywell zone damper. I installed the new damper, verified proper wiring and operation, and tested the zoning system through multiple heating/cooling cycles. The new damper is opening and closing properly as designed, and the zoning system is now operating normally. No further issues were found at this time. Customer is satisfied with the repair.
Attempt to clear shower blockage in master bath Customer called us out for a shower that was draining slow. Upon arrival customer stated this is the first time they are experiencing this issue. The customer showed me the affected shower which was in the master bathroom. We first tested the bathroom group to ensure there was not a bigger issue going on, and after running water for a long period of time we did not notice any signs of a mainline blockage. We went to take a look at the master shower and ran water and shortly after we noticed the water started to backup. We also tested the other bathroom to ensure they were not experiencing a blockage and everything was functioning properly. The customer agreed to attempt to restore proper flow in the master shower. We took of the cover and we noticed buildup, we ran our cable machine in the drain and pulled back some debris. After multiple attempts of clearing debris in the drain, we were successful in restoring proper flow. We tested by
Replaced failed pressure regulator in the garage as well as a failed thermal expansion tank. Strapped tank to structure via code approved bracket and set water pressure to 65 psi. Tested for leaks and proper operation. Also unjammed disposal as a courtesy and left quotes/options for future replacement.
For this job we replaced the water heater, prv and main shut off valve. We also replaced the shut off valve to the outside faucet. Brought up new heater up to code by installed a water heater pan, securing new expansion tank. Psi to home is 65, expansion tank psi is set to 70. Made all new copper connections and also made new gas connections. Water heater temperature is set to 120 degrees. Tested all work and left clean.
Customer was experiencing a mainline blockage in exterior drain affecting the whole home. Ran cable machine through exterior clean out and successfully cleared blockage. Camera technician is scheduled for tomorrow 2-5 to assess condition of the line and hopefully provide a permanent solution
System faulted out at furnace for airflow. The 16x25x1 filter was clogged. Replaced filter! Cleared drain line and tested refrigerant. System is cooling. Temp split was also above 20 in the beginning but the system was moving 850 cfms as it continued to run. I left with a 22 degree delta.
I removed and replaced a bathroom sink and faucet in the main bathroom along with replacing the prv. I tested my work thoroughly to ensure there were no issues
Install 21 dual function Square D HOmeline panel Panel maintence Install whole home surge protection
Customer no-showed the 7/1 appointment and will need to call back in to reschedule. No cool upstairs. Upon visual inspection found system to have water filling drain pan shutting float safety off so thermostat did not have power and outdoor equipment running still. Found evap coil frozen beyond its box and outdoor unit frozen with inches of ice on compressor. System cannot be troubleshot today and will need return visit for tomorrow (booked for 2-5 window). Informed owner pan full of water and quoted to remove existing water to allow for fan function and aiding of thawing of coil. Removed water as owner agreed to quote. It is noted system lacks TE standard flood protection and that more water may occur in the pan. Any damages that happen are NOT TE Certifieds responsibility as coil thaws. Did find contactor welded close. Turned outdoor unit off at disconnect to prevent further freezing of system. Possible contactor is only cause of system freezing over however it cannot be d
No cool whole home found 2022 rheem 3 ton ac on 2013 carrier furnace. Upon inspection found failed capacitor on outdoor equipment not allowing for compressor to run and causing it to hit thermal lockout. Cooled compressor down, added test capacitor and tested equipment. Ac dirty, found crack in heat exchanger and system lacks a wet switch. Blower motor has play in the shaftt and is dirty. Customer getting quote to replace furnace today. Replaced capacitor and cleaned ac. Tested system afterward. System functioning well at this time.
Rinnai rl94i unit is throwing error code 10 (combustion/vent) after turning on hot water for about two minutes. Cleared soot buildup from vent side port and vent run also has buildup inside of it. This is more than likely due to the blower not being able to push buildup out so I turned the dip switch 1 on tan bank to the off position to force the blower to push harder as it would on a long vent run instead of short which is what it was originally set on. This is not a long term fix due to the blower already showing signs of failing to keep up. Left estimates for entire unit replacement and fan repair. Unit is currently running and working properly. Ran bath tub continuously for 30 minutes with no error codes
Upon arrival, we met with the owner. For 6 months they’ve had intermittent issues with the toilet not draining properly and they notice it when larger volumes of water are being used. The home has a single bathroom, kitchen and laundry, is on septic in the backyard and has no cleanout access. We tested and it does appear the toilet would intermittently struggle to drain but was only slowed down when multiple fixtures are running. Due to the plumbing layout and what is happening, I believe the issue is erelated to the septic/drain field. I advised they have that inspected first and have a cleanout installed outside between the home and tank. While on site, we cleared the lav and tub drains, provided Endure and also augered the toilet to ensure nothing was inside of it. Perform draining clearing on sink drain and trap. Drain clear trap only. Does not include repairs, branch or main line clearing. No warranty on drain clearing. Perform draining clearing on tub or shower drain trap. Dra
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Replaced up stairs condenser fan motor and capacitor. Need to order main floor condenser fan motor, install new fan blades and water protection in the attic.
He was able to come quickly and diagnosed and fixed the problem! We are now just waiting for the temp in the house to get back to normal now that our air is working again.
No cool on the only system in the house, due to a bad dual capacitor. Replaced capacitor and system works. Checked pressures, amperage on motor and compressor, filter, temperature differential and visual inspection, as well. System is working properly at this time. House is super hot and will take a while to cool down to 75 degrees (91 degrees in the house now). Ac system is 9 years old and furnace is 25 years old and not in good shape. Heat exchanger compromised, single speed motor and blower wheel dirty. Highly recommend to upgrade the furnace, to bring comfort and efficiency back to the house.
Full system
I came out and gave you a whole home inspection. The items I found were that your neutrals in your grounds were on the same bars as well as being loose in several cases. You did not have surge protection on your panel. You do not have wired smoke detectors in your bedrooms. Otherwise, your electrical system is in good shape. I did the following at your request: Rewired the fluorescent light in the laundry room so that the ballast is bypassed and installed LED type B bulbs. These are specifically for a direct wire fluorescent fixture instead of a ballast. Replaced the smoke detector in the upstairs hallway with a smoke/carbon. Fixed the wiring in the bathroom by replacing the three switches that had gone bad and we’re only working intermittently. Inspect the kitchen wiring- I believe you may actually have an issue with the bulbs that you are buying so I would keep an eye on the flickering in the future since I replaced two of them with a new bulbs Put the wires underneath the cano
Installed failed warranty Ecm condenser fan motor on system 4.
No cool for the upstairs system due to be low on Freon (410a). Inspected system for leaks, but couldn’t find any leak. Also, compressor is making very loud noise. Checked compressor amperage, megaohms , capacitor and visual. Compressor is showing signs of going bad internally. Added Freon (410a), to bring pressures back to normal. System is cooling, but not efficient, due to compressor issue. If system stop cooling, compressor will need to be replaced. System is working on heating and cooling at this visit.
Travel fee Customer called us out for a garbage disposal that was making a weird noise when in use. The customer stated this is the first time they have had an issue with the garbage disposal. The customer took us over to the garbage disposal, and the customer went to turn on the disposal to recreate the noise and we heard the disposal grind something down, then the noise went away by itself. We went to turn on the garbage disposal again and it didn’t make the noise anymore, it sounded normal. We ran water in the kitchen line to test for a potential blockage and there was no signs of a blockage present. We performed a water pressure check and there is optimal pressure, we also noticed the water heater was about 7 years old and I recommended to the customer to have one of our sewer supervisor to come out and inspect the water heater. They will contact us back out when they are ready to proceed with that project. We will be leaving estimates to replace the garbage disposal in the near f

Alan did a fantastic job! He is quick to diagnose and come up with solutions for your AC problems. It was very hot the past few days and I am super grateful that he got my AC working again and his recommendations are spot on! You will not be disappointed.
Christian did an excellent job. I have him coming back in Oct when the weather changes to check everything
Why can’t all companies be like this? Showed up early. Did not try to sell me something I didn’t want. Could not fix my problem due to it being something outside of the scope of the company, but did not charge me for a service that was not provided. Ended up being a septic tank that needs to be emptied. Many other companies would charge thousands and walk away with their hands up like “oh, not my fault, not my problem”. Kudos to you guys. Thank you so much. Bryan was awesome, professional and knowledgeable I appreciate finally having someone trustworthy to fix my issues.
