The replacement of our mini split went fantastic. Brock, the installer, was excellent. He walked me through the whole install. They took care to cover the carpet and clean up when they were finished. We also had an electrical issue and Brock stayed until the electrician showed to explain the problem and make sure the issue was resolved. Stephen Davis, the salesman, also was very helpful. He helped get a great price and explained the qualities of the Daikin system. He also helped work with the electrician to solve our problem.

Client has a leak between the meter and the home. Further inspection showed the leak was at the foundation wall. Advised homeowner about repair and replacement options. Client opted to have it repaired. Dug up and removed 2 holly bushes for access to the existing service. Dug down to the pipe approx 4.5ft deep at the penetration and cut damaged section of piping. Abandoned old service penetration and drilled new penetration at higher depth of approx 18in. Ran new soft copper piping thru the foundation and wrapped piping in burial tape to protect from corrosion. Replaced main shutoff valve inside the home and tied new service penetration back to existing pressure regulator at the homeowners request. We advised replacement of the regulator due to age (2008) and the nature of the work taking place, which the client refused at this time. Sealed the penetration inside and outside with hydraulic cement and tar and backfilled the hole. Replanted one of the removed bushes, however we did advis

Customer had a leaking disposal, they had picked up a disposal prior to my arrival, they had also picked up a kitchen faucet they requested I install, the old drain set up would not accommodate the new disposal, I gave the a quote to redrain the kitchen sink and install the two customer supplied fixtures and they accepted, I cut out all the drain work under the sink, removed the garbage disposal, removed the old faucet, installed the new faucet, I glued a 90 degree fitting on the existing drain line and angled it toward the right side of the cabinet, I used another 90 to come up and then used a 2x2x1-1/2 tee i put a Studor vent out of the top and a trap adapter out of the side, I then installed the disposal, i used a tail piece extension and a end outlet waste kit to tie the disposal and strainer together. I then ran water approximately 5 minutes and then filled the sink up appropriately 3 times to ensure there were no leaks, I also ran the disposal multiple times to ensure proper func

Received call regarding roof vent. Customer had been informed by roofers that a vent had become disconnected in the attic, and was completely loose through the roof penetration. They also noted to me that there was a ceiling stain in the master bedroom. Investigated attic (all vents) and found that the two units on the highest level are fully connected and in fine condition. Discovered the third completely disconnected (improper glue joint). Prepared estimate for issue resolution, and work was approved. Applied new primer and glue to existing joint and successfully united piping. Wiped glue joint clean as per best practice, and advised homeowner to call roofers back now that the repair has been made in order to ensure that the roof penetration is still water tight. Ceiling stain was not saturated Sheetrock, and therefore Sheetrock replacement is not necessary at this time. Homeowner is intending to paint or patch affected area.

Attempt to clear tub blockage Customer called us today for a tub that was experiencing a slow drain. Upon arrival the customer stated they noticed the tub was draining super slow. They also stated the tub isn’t used often and they run water to prevent sewer smells coming up. We first started by testing the bathroom group to ensure there was not a bigger issue going on, and after running water for a long period of time only the tub was being affected. We recommended to the customer to attempt to restore proper flow and they agreed. We ran our cable machine in the tub and after multiple attempts we were successful. The customer was present during our walkthrough and our work along with the testing. The customer also expressed to me how they have a toilet in the garage and they’re getting no water to it, and we also performed a water pressure check. The pressure in the home is excessive and we let the customer know. We have our service department to further investigate, and the customer

Today I came out for 1 system maintenance on 2019 Lennox furnace and AC. Furnace is located in garage servicing whole home. I inspected all electrical components, checked gas pressures, static pressures, blower wheel, evaporator coils, heat exchangers, duct work, cleaned flame sensor, cleaned inducer draft tubing, changed the filter, changed uv bulb and cleared drain lines. Blower wheel had dust and debris built up on fan blades. Condenser coils are impacted with debris. Contactor is heavily pitted. Outdoor capacitor is below tolerance level as it’s rated for 40/10MFD +/- 5% and its actual reading is 37.87/9.82. After going over all findings and options, customer has agreed to move forward with Option A. All work has been completed, tested, and system is operating at time of departure. It was a pleasure to meet y’all today and I hope y’all have a great fall!

Today I came out to a no cool under five call. After looking into the system, I came across the outdoor condenser that was not operating at all. I opened up the compartment and tested the capacitor. The capacitor had no reading and insinuating that the capacitor has failed. I let the customer know and customer agreed for me to replace the old capacitor with a new one. I installed the capacitor and tested system. System is now cooling with no issues. Customer is happy.

Returned to complete work as per estimate. Disconnected basket strainer from basement bar sink, cleaned and disposed of old sealant material. Applied new Plumber’s Putty, reinstalled unit, and secured all tubular piping in place. Tested thoroughly for leaks and found no issues at this time. Tests included filled basin for static pressure >15minutes, and filled basin drainage (4) times. In unfinished utility room, installed Air Admittance Valve on Bar Sink drain line to provide venting closer to fixture. Disconnected drain line from vent for sewage ejector pump. Cored hole directly into ejector pit lid, installed 1.5” gasket seal, and terminated drain line directly through lid into pit. Reconnected venting. All work tested thoroughly with no issues. Inquired with homeowner regarding satisfaction of recently installed tankless water heater and crossover tees. He remarked that the crossover tee installed under the kitchen sink had left him unable to procure a cold glass of wa

For this job we found a leak at the water main coming into the home. Pipe was damaged at the penetration point from the soil settling and putting pressure on pipe. We dug down, cut out section outside the home and tied in a new copper pipe to the inside of the home, we sealed with hydrolic cement and tar on both ends of the penetration point for a water tight seal. We also replaced the main shut off valve and pressure regulator. Psi was set to 70. Tested all work , cleaned and back filled dug up area.

Fan and switch replacement After conducting our troubleshoot we noticed the breaker feeding the dining room lights location stopped operating as intended. Customer mentioned to me that the breaker has been intermittently tripping. We’ve reset the breaker with all loads running and it is holding. All lights were turned on to identify where the potential fault was taking place. We removed the branch circuit leads from the breaker and performed Schneider’s TSD. With the breaker in the off position and leads removed we held the test botton and reset the circuit breaker. It will not hold with the leads removed. It’s showing a ground fault condition even though there are no branch circuits connected to the breaker. It appears the breaker has gone bad and needs to be replaced. Remove Sheetrock in area of the basement ceiling where gas line for kitchen stove has a whip running through two levels. Will try to be accurate on first cut but went over with the client that it may be more than one cut in order to get access Existing gas line for the kitchen stove is ran in flexible whips underneath in the basement ceiling which is not approved. They connected 4 different whips to try to run a gas line so I’ll need to remove the existing set up and run trac pipe which is approved for this set up. Will install a flange underneath stove in kitchen with a new shutoff valve and then connect the whip to that which is approved. Check for leaks and make sure everything is working properly. Due to me having to turn the gas meter off to complete work we are not responsible if any older gas burning units do not come back on after the gas meter is turned on. This does happen especially with older pilot lights on water heaters. Customer is aware this is a potential risk. All

My TE tech, Ben for my Generac generator was fantastic. First time I used TE as I was dismayed with a different company that installed it. He immediately determined the startup sound was not right. Found a spark plug wire was not connected, connected it that and performed standard maintenance. I could run only one HVAC at a time, now I can run both. I wish I would have called TE way before now!
