Performed 2 system homecare. Recommended having quotes on 20+ heat pump that serves the finished basement. Homeowner said power bills were really high due to her pump only using heat strips to heat the home. The R22 is low and will cause unit to freeze up. Upstairs blower motor is over amping and could hear the bearings are failing. Recommending replacing basement heat pump. Replacing upstairs blower motor. Water safety switches on upstairs equipment. Adding return air to upstairs system.

Install (4) new smoke detectors in each of the bedrooms upstairs. Install arc fault breaker for smoke detector circuit. Gfi protect the following circuits with (5) dual function/gfi breakers : attic,disposal,dishwasher,fridge,washer. Replace bath fan motor upstairs with new motor and trim. Replace dimmer with new LED dimmer upstairs. Replace back porch outlet with new weather rated gfi and bubble cover. Install outlets and appliance cords for dishwasher and disposal. Update grounding system with additional ground rod and wiring.

For this job, we installed 4 return and 2 supplies for the main level as well as the upstairs unit.

Today we came out for main level not cooling Goodman 2016 2 ton ac builder grade. Cycled equipment from thermostat checked operations found condenser fan motor running but compressor did not energize. Checked duel motor starter found 45 reading 41. Compressor is locked up gave customer band aid option and scheduled install supervisor to give options. Installed hard start kit compressor energized checked refrigerant levels found them to be critically low. System has major refrigerant leak which has damaged compressor. System could fail at anytime.

Installed whole home surge protection

No heat on the min level system, due to a bad gas valve. Will need to replace the gas valve, in order to do a complete diagnostic. Sent estimates to replace gas valve. Customer will call us back, if she wants to go with us for this repair.

Homecare inspection 2 systems. Checked electrical components, checked refrigerant pressures, checked delta t, checked blower wheels, flushed drains, cleaned flame sensors, checked IAQ, tested heat and cool at thermostat. Found low refrigerant pressures for upstairs system, added about 1lb r410a refrigerant per customer request to get to proper operating pressures. Found capacitor for main floor system showing age, quoted repairs. Systems working as they should at this time.

Completed homecare visit today on 2 gas systems in attic. Inspected ductwork, filter, flushed drain line and tested heating operation. Checked gas pressures and adjusted to manufacture specifications. Tested electrical components, took amp draws and verified system operation from thermostat. Inspected outdoor unit electrical, refrigerant levels and checked condenser coil overall condition. Installed EAC, 16x25x1, and replaced humidifier water panel on main level system. Washed condenser coils. Systems are fully operational at time of service. UV bulbs have been ordered and will return to install once arrived

The customer is selling his home and the inspector had notated that the GEC (Grounding Electrode Conductor) had been cut away from the ground rod. After further inspection the following was found and corrected: *The GEC was cut away from the rod *The Ground rod was sticking above grade *The GEC was not secure I made these corrections and established clean connections on all points that was bonded. Due to the age of the home I found only one ground rod near the service disconnect. This rod should be tested to ensure that 25 ohms or less is present per the National Electrical Code and if not another ground rod and bonding jumper should be installed to ensure the system is establishing good grounding.

Customer called us out for dishwasher not draining properly. Tested appliance and found no issues at this time, dishwasher is draining fine.

-Conducted electrical troubleshoot of master bedroom circuit and vent hood circuit. -Replaced defective GFCI outlet on back patio.

Today we came out due to system not heating. Upon arrival furnace was only running on fan mode. Power cycled the unit and called for heat. As soon as the inducer tried to come on it made a grinding noise. Inducer motor has failed and needs to be replaced. I also found several cracks/separated eye lits on heat exchanger. I informed customer I could not perform a carbon monoxide test due to repairs needing to get system up and running first. Flame sensor has heavy carbon build up on it. Blower wheel has dust and debris built up on fan blades. Capacitor is failing for blower motor. It’s rated 7.5 MFD +-5% and actual reading is 7.01. There is no float switch on drain line. System is 90% gas furnace, but fresh air intake is from the attic. It needs to be grabbing fresh air from outside of house. After going over all findings and options, customer has agreed for project manager to come out tomorrow quote replacing system. Project manager is scheduled for tomorrow between 2pm-5pm.

Replaced two breakers that were damaged when storms rolled through a few days ago. 50 amp oven breaker and 70 amp ac breaker were replaced. New surge protector was added in the main panel.

I came out today due to the dining room and kitchen light not working. The dining room lights issue was due to a faulty toggle switch so I cranked the box out, checked all the taps and supplied and installed a new single pole toggle switch and plate. The customer had stated that the kitchen light has not worked for sometime so I checked power at the switch which was present and I removed the cover and exposed the ballast and wiring and got proper voltage at the fixture. To make the fixture work again I completed an LED ballast bypass and as a courtesy, I replaced the switch in the plate at no additional cost. After that was completed, I tested the fixture to ensure that it was working. The customer also stated that the garbage disposal was not working, and I told him I would look at it with everything else. I found a circuit breaker was in the open state, indicating that the breaker had tripped. I reset the breaker and turned the switch on only for a spark to come flying out of the s

The customer had concerns with the lighting in the master closet and the shower due to them being dim. I removed a bulb and replaced with a working bulb and showed the homeowner that the issue are just faulty lamps. The customer had new counter tops installed in the kitchen and had reinstalled the under cabinet lighting and it would not work. I removed the (4) fixtures and found loose taps and I also discovered that the switch that controls them are located on the wall next to the fridge. After checking this I was able to get the lights on and working. I removed the existing trim and light bulb in the master shower and supply and install a new 6” led retrofit trim and set the color temp for the customer at 35k I removed the non listed breaker in the panel on #25 and supply and install a new manufacturer type. As a courtesy, I completed a minor panel maintenance by ensuring all connections are tight along with cleaning the dust and debris from the bottom of the cabinet. If the custo

Put up repaired light fixture

Met with customer and spoke with her regarding their issue. Customer showed us inside and stated their upstairs guest bathroom toilet is clogged and that sewage backed up into the tub as well. We inspected and confirmed the presence of a branch line blockage affecting the upstairs bathroom. Informed customer of our findings and presented options to pull the toilet and clear the line. Customer agreed and after getting signature approval we began work. Removed toilet and ran k-400 drain machine roughly 15’ downstream and cleared blockage. Did not pull anything back on cable. Tested all drains thoroughly all fixtures are now draining properly. Cleaned work area. Customer is satisfied.
