Customer had a toilet upstairs that wasn’t draining because their daughter dropped a toy inside the toilet, so I ended up pulling the toilet and removing the toy out of the drain, but whenever I remove the toilet slipped and cracked, Home Depot doesn’t carry Delta toilets, and Delta toilets parts were discontinued so I had to replace the toilet with the Kohler toilet after installing a toilet. I test for leaks and cracks and everything was working fine. The toilet was in perfect condition with no backups.
I performed a repair on an 8 year old rinnai tankless unit which included pulling the burner assembly and the fan to thoroughly clean both. After cleaning, I reinstalled both components and thoroughly tested to ensure everything was working properly and better than before
Call out to install a gas line running from the meter to the back of the house on the exterior wall to feed a customer supplied generator. Give homeowner multiple options for installation. Homeowner agreed and work was started. Begin by shutting off gas to the home and removing the union at the gas meter in order to install a Tee to feed the generator in the backyard. Installed black iron tee with a designated shut off for the generator and ran approximately 25 feet of black iron pipe strapped to the side of the house to the back of the house. Once work was complete did a pressure test at 20 psi for 15 minutes. No leaks. Spray painted the entire new gas line. Thank you for trusting TE certified with all your plumbing needs
we came out to investigate issue with flickering bulbs and your kitchen and dining room. This only happens when the washing machine is running. This seems to be happening because the washing machine is pulling power on the same phase in the panel and Edison bulbs have fragile diode in them. We changed the breaker for the kitchen and dining room room to the other phase and that fix the issue. You also wanted a price out for installing a new circuit for your generator outlet as well as an interlock kit. Also a separate price for a generator, including a switch.. last you wanted a price for the new circuit for the mini split in the garage. These prices have been included with your estimates. Thank you you for using TE certified electrical! Veaya
Elijah did a great job. Very thorough in explaining my options for the repairs I needed, gave a detailed quote, and then executed the work very quickly once I made my decision. I've used TE Certified for my plumbing for several years now and recommend them.
Replace Smart Safety Breaker Replace mismatch 2 pole breakers
Customer wanted me to inspect all three toilets in the entire house. I let the customer know that I suggested that the restroom closest to the entrance of the house I suggest to replace or do a major rebuild of the inside due to slow filling and a gasket deteriorated, next on the next bathroom in the master bathroom, he’s been having issues with the water, not filling sometime so I recommended that he replaced the fill valve, upstairs the toilet ran no stop so I recommended that he replaced that fill valve as well. He ended up just going with replacing the fuel valve with the upstairs bathroom toilet and after repairing that the toilet is now running properly and once it fill up, it doesn’t continue to run. after testing, It was no leaks as well and toilet is functioning properly
Was called out to replace water heater with a Bradford white that’s what the customer wanted also repaired a pin hole as a courtesy
We did a troubleshoot for a trip breaker in a new QO panel
Replaced heat exchanger and tested after installation. The gas pressure was to high set to 3.5 .
No hot water After lighting pilot I found burner will not ignite Gas valve is flashing 7 blinks. Meaning bad gas valve Customer chose to replace the unit Remove and replace water heater and install thermal expansion tank mounted to structure Install new copper pipe and fittings to connect heater and insulate piping Reconnect existing recirculation pump Install new gas, whip, and gas fittings Turn on heater and set temperature to 120 Water heater has the four year warranty upgrade for a total of 10 year warranty
Arrived for no cooling. Started on the outdoor unit that had locking caps left off as homeowner found them on the floor. Goodman 410-A system is completely flat of refrigerant and disconnect was left off. Added a small amount of 410-A to perform leak search on system. Found multiple leaks including both king valves on condenser, evaporator coil and piston threaded connection. In the evaporator there is a lot of sitting oily water inside coil. Evaporator is also installed backwards which is allowed but loses efficiency. The threaded nut for piston is twisted and kinked bad enough to have a small leak. Ductwork is undersized for a 3.5 ton system requiring 1400cfm with supply at 930cfm and return at 1080cfm. Return plenum is sitting on right side of horizontal furnace with bottom of furnace taped off. Furnace heat exchanger has several areas of heavy discoloration and rust build up in the interior as well as exterior. Hot spot, possible pin holes, are present most likely due to inadequate

Found 2013/2014 heatpump/ air handler not heating. I inspected the zoning and thermostats. I checked the capacitors and contactor. I found that the system has a restriction. The restriction needs to be fixed before the compressor completely fails. I recommend replacing the outdoor and indoor pistons and adding all fresh refrigerant and adding a new filter drier. I called the homeowner and told her the issue with the system. Replacing the pistons and adding a new filter drier and all fresh refrigerant hopefully should fix the restriction; but no guarantees (no refunds/warranty). The homeowner declined the repairs even with a discount. Discount will not be available if not booked by 1pm today with our dispatch department. I emailed estimate to the email listed on file. Homeowner agreed at the beginning of the call to pay the 98$ diagnostics fee over the phone. Left the breaker off at the outdoor unit. Homeowner is selling the home.
Demo’ed can light and installed fan box and fan in its place.
Andrew was very knowledgeable, polite and took his time to walk us through our new thermostat.
Service call thermostat keeps changing temps. Found non programmable thermostat properly operating at this time. Customer stated they wanted thermostat upgrade. Replaced existing thermostat with ecobee and tested system. System operates with new thermostat. Upon inspecting system found it does not have emergency drain pan, or adequate flood protection. Ac is dirty, evap drain pan has biological growth on it. Weak dual capacitor outside and burnt contactor as well. System had multiple code violations from installation such as incorrect gas connection and single wall flue pipe. Quoted additional repairs.
Arrived on site and replaced an internal recirculating pump on a tankless RHEEM water heater . I also replaced the expansion tank and set the psi to 75. Once both the pump and expansion tank were replaced, I went ahead and turned the unit back on , and set the temp to 120. No error codes appeared on the screen , so I then went inside the house and tested for hot water . I got a reading in the bathroom of 121 , and unit continued to operate without issue.
Juan Cerda from TE Certified is amazing! Great professional and expert in the field. Strongly recommended!
Inspection of one HVAC system for home. Additional systems are $89 each. Repairs are not included and will be quoted at an additional cost Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
It’s such a relief to have a company that I can always rely on to give us honest advice. I use them for plumbing and electrical. Every employee that has come to our home over the years has provided excellent customer service.
No heat to the main level system. Two zones system. System is working properly and so the zoning. Master has a temperature sensor that was touching the cable box and possible giving false temperatures reading. Tested system multiple times and all zones were opening and closing with no issue. Inspected system. Found a crack in the heat exchanger , for the main level system and blower wheel is getting dirty and dust. System is 7 years old. Also, customer is interested on APCOX uv light system. Sent estimates for 3 APCOX uv light and to replace heat exchanger , for the main level. Due to be an expensive repair (it’s the main part of the heating), best option would be to upgrade the furnace. Set a lead for Tuesday, to quote upgrading, for the main level furnace.
I came out to investigate an issue with a breaker tripping for your office. This office does have more amperage on it than a 15 amp breaker can take so the resolution was to install a new dedicated circuit specifically for your computer computers. I pulled a new 12 gauge wire from the panel so that we can install a 20 amp circuit. I pulled the wire from the panel up through the first floor to the top floor of your office. I installed a new 20 amp arc fault breaker for that circuit and labeled it in the main panel. I installed quad outlets as well as a new box and new plate. I also replaced your 15 amp arc fault breaker since it had tripped so many times it sounded like it was definitely going bad. Unfortunately, they can only trip so many times before they begin to fail. As we discussed, I did have to cut some sheet rock in order to get to your office. I placed the sheet rock pieces back as best I could however there were more holes than I had anticipated so I would like to give you
-replace outdoor outlets with brand new weather resistant outlets -install new outdoor covers -install afci and gfci outlet in garage -replace two switches in front door -replace old box with new box in foyer
I was called out to Rocky & Lauren’s house for a Homecare maintenance. Rocky & Lauren have lived here for about 12 years so we performed a thorough evaluation. During the evaluation we discovered the ductwork is outdated, the plenums are duct board and are very dirty as well has biological growth, the wheels need cleaned, the acs need cleaned, the drain for the main doesn’t have slope, the inducer is wearing out, on the upstairs systems it has a failed heat exchanger with a viable crack making it unsafe to use, the condenser fan motor has leaked out its oil, and the evaporator coil needs cleaned. Due to the cost of potential repairs replacement is a viable option to update the system and other components to today’s standards.
For this job, I worked on installing six landscape lights
Adding a dedicated circuit
Conducted electrical troubleshoot of water heater circuits. Replace breaker that’s is defective and showing signs of over heating.
First and only expert that told me I have a dual zone in the house and the reason for one side of the house always being cold was due to the fact that one zone was closed.
Troubleshooting tripped breaker
