Upon arrival customer stated that he was having issues with the thermostats not regulating temperature correctly and over heating. Went through settings on thermostat with customer and we turned off the dehumidifier setting g so system would not keep over heating or over cooling past customer set point. Tested thermostat and it was turning off at the set point temperature. Customer explained upstairs thermostat would always read very low than what his temperature gauge read. Found that air purifier that was on ground the fan was blowing on thermostat causing this issue. We moved the air purifier and temperature started to balance out correctly. Customer wanted me to check over both units to make sure there were no issues. Both systems are 3 years old installed in 2022 at the same time. Inside the furnaces were clean, blower wheel had mild dirt build up on it this is due to customer changing out 4 inch filter to 2 inch. Advised customer I recommend keeping 4 inch media filter in cabinet

Reattach previously capped off tub supply line for the hot side installed access panel in tub left cut piece of fiberglass in tub in case anybody wants to repair tub in the future. Replaced one stop underneath sink in downstairs bathroom to delete the previously installed toilet supply line cut the drywall to access and install a new supply line inside of the wall with a quarter turn stop and replaced the supply line on the toilet with a new stainless steel line

For this job we re wired the dock switches as customer had taken them apart. We also troubleshot outlets and lights not working in the laundry room. We discovered a loose tap in the switch box in a closet that was feeding the laundry room. Also left estimates to replace a federal pacific panel at customers main home which is right next door. Left an estimate to do a service upgrade as well with an outdoor disconnect.

Troubleshoot and Replace Outdoor

Excavate located site to expose broken section of water, main service repair, broken section of water, main service and fill in excavation hole. 12-11-25 Found service was leaking from cracked plastic union threaded into brass back-flow valve. Replaced fitting with brass male adapter.

Basement system Replaced the contactor and capacitor and installed UV light. I made sure that the new capacitor was good out of the box. I checked and verified that my new contactor was getting 240 volts. I checked checked and verified that the new UV light was working before I left (installed additional transformer). I removed a few layers of air handler insulation that some biological growth on it. I ran the system and then thermostat and verified that the blower motor, compressor and condenser fan motor were all working. Refrigerant pressures and strip heat amps and wiring was all checked by me yesterday; verified that they were operating. Emailed updated flood protection options and made sure condensation pump was plugged in before I left today. The heat was running and working at the end of service call (see pictures and video) Will need to refund service call fee (98).

Customer wanted to replace pop up stopper with a customer supplied stopper. This stopper inserts into the drain opening and seals by rubber gasket and is easily removable for cleaning. Customer wanting the ability to clean drain out without having to crawl underneath the vanity. This was the solution he decided to take. Removed current stopper and placed customer supplied one. Service visit on Generac 26Kw standby generator

For this job, I rendered leak detection services for homeowner. Mr. Thomas discovered leak just after meter nipple where it attaches to water main service.

Found wiring wrong on thermostat for basement air handler. The air handler also had black biological growth. The outdoor unit needs a new contractor (burnt/pitted contacts) and capacitor. System also needs updated flood protection. I checked pressure in heat and cooling mode and amps on strip heat. Customer approved the UV light and contactor and Capacitor. Tech will return to do the repairs tomorrow.

Replaced broken preexisting cpvc ball valves above the tankless water heater. Installed brass threaded ball valves and turned water back on. Further diagnosis revealed that static water pressure in the home was 120 psi. The pressure regulator had failed and needed to be replaced as well. Cut out PRV and installed new dual union Watts pressure regulator with new 3/4 ball valves for the main shutoff and future serviceability. Set pressure to 70 psi and checked for leaks.

Installed dryer ventilator booster. System is working properly after installation. Checked dryer on drying mode and then checked new ventilator to make sure it turned on from pressure switch.

Install new 20a 240 circuit extension for AC unit for sun room. Set PVC box on existing wire, install new outdoor rated wiring and pvc conduit outside at car port and install conduit up to ac outlet. *TE not responsible for damages to gutter ceiling in carport to get wiring for ac up to sunroom.* Install additional conduit for flood lights in sunroom. Install new feeder wire from the 120v outlet in sunroom in 1/2 pvc conduit. Set new surface mount box with Lutron Caseta smart switch in sunroom. Install remote for smart switch in basement. Reinstalling flood light.

Replaced Moen posi temp cartridge in upstairs nursery bathroom. Laundry machine was emitting sewer smell. Checked venting in attic to ensure that laundry had proper ventilation. Requested for drain technician to perform a cleaning on drain line.

We installeda new furnace for the upstairs floor

Customer was having an issue with luke warm at kitchen sink and loud knocking coming from the plumbing system. Upon investigation the piping in the crawl space was unsupported which we secured and the shower cartridge in the master bathroom was compromised allowing cold water to cross over into the hot side of the plumbing system. Cartridge was replaced rectifying the issue of luke warm water. Upon inspection of the tankless unit a quality control issue was found with the way the gas line was ran, by a previous technician. Gas line was removed and a new line was hard piped to the unit.

For this job I replaced a 50 gallon gas water heater that was no longer working, it had eroded from the bottom. We installed a new 50 gallon gas Rheem water heater with a 6 year warranty. I also installed a new expansion tank and set the psi to 75 psi. I secured expansion tank with a mounting bracket. I also installed a water heater pan with a water alarm inside. I replaced the gas connections and I lit the water heater and set the temperature to 120 degrees F. I check all connections for leaks and made sure water was getting warm at kitchen faucet. Disposed of old water heater and left work area clean.

Install whole home surge protection

I did a troubleshoot for a ceiling fan in the kitchen not working and we found out it had a bad receiver and old battery control, customer choose to have fan re wire and will use the pull chains for ceiling fan and light.

Homeowner has a pedestal sink with a leaking trap in the first floor powder room. Sink only leaks when ran. I removed the old P trap, I noticed when I was removing it, that the tubular nut for the trap arm was already very loose. I removed and disposed of the old P trap and extension. I replaced the P trap and installed a tubular new extension, as well as new poly washers. I ran the sink for approximately 10 and filled the basin, and let the basin drain out to ensure no more leaking. There is a fair bit of water damage around the pedestal itself, unsure of how deep it goes or how long it’s been occurring for.
