I arrive last Friday afternoon as miss lori had stated she had another leak, upon inspection I found that the leak was coming under the slab, I recommended that the customer have a leak detection company out to pin point were the leak was coming from, we arrived today after leak detection had been out we used a sds drill with a chisel attachment to break up the concrete in the right corner off the closet, we then removed the broken up concrete and dug up the dirt so we could access the leaking waterline, we slowly turned the water heater valve on so we could verify where the leak was, once we verified we cut out as much pipe as we could below the slab and reconnected to the existing pex line, we wrapped the pipe in pvc burial tape under the slap, we then turned water back on to the home to ensure there were no leaks, after that we insulated the water line, backfilled dirt and poured back concrete making it flush with the existing slab

For this job, we originally came to his neighbor’s house due to a high-pitched squealing noise. After running tests and finding nothing at his neighbor’s house, we decided to walk over to Steve’s house and found that his pressure-reducing valve (PRV) and expansion tank had gone bad and were causing the squealing noise, which could clearly be heard from his neighbor’s house. While we were testing his house, he told us that he had a leaking faucet in his master bathroom. We let him know that, while we were at his house, we would go ahead and rebuild his 8-inch faucet as a courtesy. At the water heater, we replaced the PRV, expansion tank, and shut-off valve on the cold side. We tested everything and made sure there were no leaks present. The expansion tank was set to 70 PSI and secured to an expansion tank bracket to the left of the water heater.

We will add GFCI in the locations where it’s required. We will also install a whole home surge protector at the panel. We will also replace the AC breaker for the correct brand.

I replaced a leaking 40 gallon gas water heater with a new 50 gallon heater. I tested my work thoroughly to ensure there were no issues

Customer had a washing machine drained that was backing up whenever the washing machine went to the drain cycle due to HVAC condensation, so I gave a solution to run my cable down the line and have to run my cable. I was able to break up the condensation, and after testing the drain is flowing perfectly with no backups present. I also checked the pressure to the customers home and it’s sitting right at 80 psi recommend having a pressure regulator valve replaced due to being right on the line of high pressure.

Customer will order replacements for these fixtures to be installed at a later date. We installed the circuit extension for second light fixture, dimmer switch at family room 4 gang switch box (far right switch), and two fan rated boxes at locations where light fixtures will be installed. We will apply the $100 discount for today’s job and the remaining $280 discount will be applied for the installation of the chandeliers.

Customer was having an issue with his water heater throwing an error code 20 which indicated overheating, flow rate issue or high limit switch failure, I ran water approximately 15 minutes watching the outlet temperature and heat exchanger temperature to ensure the unit wasn’t overheating, I then turned on a tub to kick into high fire, I let it run approximately 10-15 minutes monitor the temperatures everything looked good snd the unit didn’t code out, talking with the customer I found he had never serviced the unit, I recommended starting there, I offered homecare as there was a discount rate for the work being completed, he decline at this time, flushed the unit with vinegar for 45 minutes, I then hooked up my hose to the outlet and ran the water to the outside for approximately 5 minutes before turning the unit back on, I let the water run about 5 minutes to ensure the heater would heat up again and not throw any codes

On today’s visit I met with the homeowner. The homeowner wanted to get the glacier baby toilet swapped out for a Kohler. I presented the estimate to perform work and received approval. The new Koehler toilet is now flushing fine with no leaks or slow drains . The homeowner is now happy and satisfied with the new toilet install.

Safety inspection for lake front dock

Blinking light shows propeller issues. The body of the recirculating pump also has a small leak on it somewhere. I can see water on the outside of the pump. There’s also no check valves and no shut off valves on the original install of the pump we need to add ball valves and check valves onto the system to have pump operating correctly.

Installed gas line from attic on main 1” dropped down to stubb out for new oven/range. Tied into 1” main with 1x1x1/2” mega press tee. Drilled hole in top plate in attic space. Dropped 1/2” track pipe down wall, cut Sheetrock in kitchen were new line is going to be located. Connected to hard pipe then braced to wall stud. Added a ball valve and tee to put test on line. Performed gas gauge test, bubble leak test, and sniffer test. Pressurized line to 15 psi for 30 min. Removed gauge and capped off created a dripleg. Pressurized system with gas, tested fixtures again with sniffer, fired up water heater, piolet light on burner working normal. No leaks

Provided on-site electrical evaluation and consultation at the property. Reviewed the existing electrical system and A/C panel feeder installation, identified existing wiring and grounding concerns, and discussed available repair and upgrade options with the homeowner. Prepared multiple repair estimates outlining the recommended options, including GFCI outlet installation, pool panel surge protection and GFCI breakers, grounding electrode repairs, A/C feeder junction box repairs, and installation of a new four-wire A/C feeder. No repair or installation work was performed during this visit; service consisted of the site evaluation, consultation, and preparation of detailed estimates for the proposed work.

For this job, I replaced a pantry light

Quoted the EV charger installation on Monday, and the customer signed the quote on Tuesday. We scheduled the installation for Wednesday and completed the EV charger installation with the Magic Dock and a 60A breaker. Tested the charger and circuit, and everything is working properly.   As a favor to the customer, we also repaired a junction box with a 12/2 to 14/2 splice. I informed the customer that the breaker needs to be replaced with a new 15A breaker due to the 14/2 wiring, but the customer declined the breaker replacement and stated that he was fine leaving it as is.

Customer had 2 vacuum breakers that were spraying while water was on to the spigot, today we replaced both vacuum breakers, tested everything, and confirmed the customer was happy. Water pressure is at 55 PSI, water heater is 6 years old. Thank you for choosing TE Certified
