Kitchen cans are not working this option is to troubleshoot and find out why. After conducting my troubleshoot, I found that there was power at the switches and the lights, the bulbs were good, and there were no other outstanding issues in the kitchen that should’ve been causing the power to not work for the lights. After going to the panel and taking a look at the breaker, it had the proper voltage. But I found that the neutral on the wire going to the neutral bar was extremely loose, as if it was never torque down at all. After tightening it, I went back up and the power to the lights was restored. While here I gave the homeowners the option to get surge protection installed at both main panels and the sub panel and they decided to move forward with the work. So I installed surge protection at the 2 main panels and the sub panel.

Customer had leaking storage tank for tankless water heater. They decided to replace the tankless on Monday
Attempt to clear mainline blockage Customer called us out for an overflow in the cleanout in front of the home. The customer stated they noticed the water overflowing a few days ago. They also stated this a reoccurring issue in their home, the last backup was about two years ago. There is no sewage backing up into the home as it is coming out through the cleanout. We recommended to the customer to attempt to restore proper flow and the customer agreed. We ran our cable machine through the cleanout, and after multiple attempts we were successful. We performed a stress test on the home by running a big volume of water and we were able to see proper flow. We have scheduled a sewer supervisor to come out tomorrow from 11-2 to further investigate. Thank you for choosing Te Certified!
Customer stated they had a faucet upstairs that would leak out of the handle and around the base of the faucet, we weren’t able to recreate it at the time of arrival, they also had a faucet downstairs that was squeaking, I left estimates to replace both of them, they also mentioned the kitchen sink drains slowly, I took a look and saw that it was piped in improperly, i have quotes to Repipe under the sink and they accepted, i redid all the tubular piping and made sure all the traps were plumbed in properly and everything had good pitch, I also quoted a new water heater as the existing one is over 10 years old
Replaced both thermostats tested in cooling and heating. Thermostats functioning correctly but the left side of the home furnace is not heating because of a bad gas valve and a bad control board. Will have to come back around October to fix the furnace. Aside from that collected payment and signatures also confirmed email.
Permit Fee
NOT a callback. Came out to blank thermostat. Came across faulty furnace switch. With homeowner approval I replaced the switch. Tested the system and the system came right on. Informed the homeowner the unit is trying its best to cool. Due to the age of the system and lack of warranty I recommend replacing the system in the near future. Homeowner also agreed to move forward with replacing upstairs and down stairs Contactors. Tested operation on both units. Both units are cooling upon departure. Homeowner also had credit from previous visits, office confirmed $100 credit. Also inadequate flood protection for the unit upstairs. Thank you for choosing TE Certified. LED bypass in 25 fluorescent light fixtures on this side of office, where led bulbs have not been installed yet. Ballasts will be bypassed and no longer in use for safety and functionality.
We installed a new 50 gallon gas water heater and a new hot water recirculation pump. The install included: safety pan with leak alarm, new gas whip, thermal expansion tank, extended warranty anode rod kit, new spring check valves on cold inlet and recirculation line, new hot and cold shut offs, air purge for recirculation line, new recirculation pump, isolation valve in recirculation line for air purge, fiberglass insulation within 6” of new double wall vent piping. The heater was set to 120 degrees and run through a heating cycle, the recirculation pump was set and run through a cycle as well.
Very knowledgeable team that did an excellent job
Excellent service. Very personable technician.
Trench new water main from water meter to house, replace main shut off valve, replace shut off valve to front hose bib to eliminate shark bite fitting, replace the overflow pipe with new gasket to upstairs hallway bathroom, eliminate shark bite fitting at shower in upstairs hallway bathroom
Took off old trim from the old valve, used the new remodel plate to mark a template so I could cut out the fiberglass, i cut out the what was needed to get access to the valve, I then turned the water off to the home and cut the old valve out, I used a pex to poly adapter to connect the hot and cold lines to the new valve, i then connected the tub spout and shower lines using pro press connections, I the unthreaded the shower arm and replaced it with the new one as well as installed the new shower head, I then turned that water back on and checked for leaks, then i installed the remodel plate and the rest of the trim, i caulked around the remodel plate as well as the tub spout to ensure everything was sealed properly
For this job we performed a tankless water heater diagnostic. Heater was getting code 10. We pulled fan and found full with bees, moths and debris. We also cleaned the ignition rods and cleaned them out. We put back the system together and tested. The unit no longer through a code. Tested for 30 mins. We also performed our annual plumbing inspection. Left estimates for pressure regulator and replacing expansion tank.
Full system installed for upstairs with: New safety switches New return duct cut in New whip and disconnect New drain pan New filter rack and filter
2 1/2 ton zoned trane system all home Landlord states that this property AC has not been working for two days They had handyman come out to try and fix but still not working Upon arrival, I checked the indoor unit which was running, but there was no refrigerant flowing through the line set Checked outdoor unit for operation, which compressor was running, but fan was not. Checked capacitor, contactor, hard start, and noticed there was a wire unhooked at the capacitor, which was for fan. I hooked that back up put power back on and everything was running correctly. I believe handyman left that unhooked and system was not running due to that I did hook it back up as a courtesy because it was a small issue Landlord did want me to change the filter which was very stopped up Flushed drain line, which was clear Checked temp split, which was good Informed landlord, age of system, which is 14 years Discussed some options which I will send in estimates System is running and cooling normal at depa
Check existing grounding system to ensure it meets code standards Install New box and receptacle device in basement Install customer supplied switch in upstairs bedroom
The basement bedroom and office breaker is tripping and so is the outdoor outlet this option is to troubleshoot them After doing my troubleshoot, I found that there was an another outdoor GFI hidden in the Kutsu next to the corner of the house behind some bushes. It looks as though no one has used this outlet in a very long time, it is very old and corroded, and does not work. I am fairly certain that this is the reason the GFI for the irrigation system keeps tripping and potentially why the circuit is dripping at the breaker. I will demolish this outlet put a new box on it with a cover silicone around it and then cap the wires off at the outlet for the irrigation to make sure it doesn’t trip anything again. This option also includes changing the breaker which is likely weakened and is less effective now that it is tripped so many times.
Relocate light switch in closet and install two customer supplied ceiling fans At the sitting room location after uninstalling the existing Ceiling fan we noticed There is not a fan rated box for this location. We will need to remove and install a new fan rated box
Today we came out for the main level not cooling 2010 Lennox 3 ton with matching furnace. Found system halfway frozen thawed system back online checked refrigerant levels found circuit to have restriction in evaporator coil. This system is the r410 refrigerant that is being phased out. Left band aid repair option and scheduled install supervisor for this evening to give options on updating. Adjusted charge on second level system. Both systems have active leak. There is no warranty on refrigerant and it could leak out at anytime. Ball park 1/2 system 7500 and up Whole system 12 and up
No cool- 2012 Trane System Customer complaint was system takes awhile to bring temp down in the evenings. Inspected system and found the system low on refrigerant. While leak checking coil I noticed a lot of dirt on the coil itself. Pulled inspection cover for coil and found 80% covered in insulation and debris. Also found spots on the heat exchanger that show system replacement should be considered as soon as possible. Customer just purchased a new system in May and was not expecting another system replacement so soon. Customer chose the band-aid repair. They will explore replacement options before heating season. System was charged with refrigerant to manufacturer specs. Coil was vacuumed and sprayed with coil cleaner.
JR and Tim from TE Certified found the real issue, fixed it right, and charged a fair price. That combination is rare. Highly recommend!
Tightened overflow on garden tub
Performed electrical troubleshoot for power loss
Customer was experiencing an issue with a shower, stating low flow out of the tub spout and no flow out of the shower head. I saw sharkbite fittings on the shower valve and suggested replacing the valve. The customer wanted to start with the cartridge first. We replaced it, checked filters and strainers in the shower head. Caulked the trim and tub spout. A button on the shower head was found to restrict flow which had an effect on our initial symptoms, however given the condition of the existing shower cartridge, it was beneficial to replace it. Water pressure is at 65 PSI. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.
Client has a failed recirculation pump. Since the water heater is 10 years old and out of warranty they have decided to replace the heater and the pump at the same time. I am returning tomorrow to complete the work.
Barrett has been beyond amazing! He has spent a lot of time at my house fixing tons of stuff and has been great! He always calls and gives an ETA and is always on time! Impeccable service! And a super nice guy!
We’ve got cold air but it cost $2,500
Great service by TE as usual and Ben specifically.
Really good communication and repair. Two blocked drains back to normal

Very pleased!
Electrician Mauricio Hernandez was timely, informative, and professional. He explained the process from beginning to end and provided a “what to expect” and a “home services” guide prior to and after the work was completed. I would recommend and TE Certified again.
Installed quickly and neatly.
Team showed up early morning and stayed on the job until finished
Very professional
My TE tech, Ben for my Generac generator was fantastic. First time I used TE as I was dismayed with a different company that installed it. He immediately determined the startup sound was not right. Found a spark plug wire was not connected, connected it that and performed standard maintenance. I could run only one HVAC at a time, now I can run both. I wish I would have called TE way before now!
Ryan is wonderful! He diagnosed our plumbing issue yesterday, ordered necessary equipment & spent the entire day today installing. He explained entire process step by step. He’s exceptional!
Kyle works well, is knowledgeable, and very nice. Wish I found this company years ago.
Jared and Alex were very polite and thorough, explained what was being done, and were happy to process my credit card.
Ryan was very professional. He explained all our options for repairs. Great customer service.
Professional and efficient.
We needed help with two faulty lights. Chase replaced both lights and asked if we had any additional questions. We asked about a whole house surge protector and he installed one for us during the same visit. Chase and his helper were very professional, polite and easy to work with. We will be asking for Chase for future electrical work!
Excellent
TE Electric conveniently worked me in to their available schedule and Trevor was extremely professional, helpful and proactive with my current needs and future electrical planning assistance
Very experienced and knowledgeable. Pointed out possible issues with breakers of the same age.
Kyle Boss from TE Electrical, Heating & Cooling recently upgraded my electrical panel and installed a whole-house surge protector. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to ensure everything was done correctly. His workmanship was excellent, and he left the work area clean when he finished. I’m very impressed with the quality of his work and highly recommend Kyle and TE Electrical, Heating & Cooling for any electrical projects.
I think he did an excellent job. You have a great crew there. He did exactly what I wanted. We want him soon to put in ceiling fans. We are also changing our electrical box and adding 4. Wired smoke dectectors. Later. I wish we had a company like this back in. The Boston. Area.
