Installed whole house surge protector
For this job I came to see a leaking faucet in master bath, we did not find any leaks, home owner will keep an eye out and record if a leak appears. I also retightened a loose kitchen faucet. Tested with home owner, very secure. I also left quotes for possible repairs for faucets if they leak again.
Upon arrival, customer notified me that they would like to have a ceiling fan installed in the upstairs bedroom. The height of the ceiling fan is over 9 feet so we will need to have at least an 8 foot ladder for the installation. We will also be giving the customer option to replace the existing switch in the room due to the age of the switch. We will be doing this as a preventative measure to ensure that the ceiling fan works for an extended period of time. Customer also notified me that they would like to have the bath fan upstairs replaced with a Panasonic whisper bath fan. This will include cutting a new hole for the space of the larger bathroom fan. We will also need to redo all the connections and make sure that the venting is proper. While I was in the attic, I noticed that the customer had an improper set up for their furnace connection. The customer has armored jacket to protect the wire, but does not have the proper connection points, which can cause a dead short. It is my r

Came out to inspect system that inspector for the buyer of the home wrote on the report that the system was struggling to cool. Fully tested the system from the thermostats and tested all of the zoning components. We made sure that there was airflow at each vent on the main end. Upstairs level with the respective thermostats turned on. Also tested the refrigerant levels and temperature coming from the vents. The system is cooling great and the refrigerant levels are perfect range. Also found the Delta between the return and supply temperatures was sitting at 16°. Normal is between 15 and 20, but it will depend on the temperatures inside and outside along with how much humidity is in the home. On a day like today it is normal to have a 16° delta. The system does have flood protection but it is not up to TE Certified standard which would include adding an in-line float switch and a wet switch.
Connected rear hose bib to cold supply in master bathroom upstairs. Installed quarter turn ball valve to winterize. Tested with no issues. Also diagnosed failed hot water supply side of tub filler. The line is severely kinked and not allowing any water through at all. I am going to try to identify the fixture brand and call manufacturer to get new supply lines.

Upon arrival and approval today, we performed the previously quoted work. This included: Installation of the customer supplied Energy Star, Electric Hybrid, water heater. Model: XE65T 10H45U1 Serial #: 0162555686 We relocated the water heater from underneath the stairs to the laundry room upstairs. This involved opening up the laundry room wall and locating the three-quarter pipe to attach to. The customer request requested we install the new water heater where the utility sink used to be. This also happened to be where the three-quarter pipe that was needed. In order to drain the condensation and eliminate the emergency temperature and pressure relief valve discharge we installed a hub drain, which connected to the deleted utility sink drain. We also installed a new pressure, regulating valve and a new whole home shut off valve. We insured that the whole home shut off valve and pressure regulator were supported properly. The pressure regulator was set to 67 psi. Tested everythin

Upon arrival, Mrs. requested that we replaced the interior shut off for the Spicket located in the bathroom vanity on the left side of the home. I reviewed all additional repair and upgrade options with her, and she chose to proceed with this item only. During my full plumbing evaluation, I also identified several other concerns throughout the home. I discussed each of these findings with Mrs., but she elected not to move forward with those additional repairs at this time. Today, I removed the old interior shut off valve and installed a new shut off to the short proper isolation operation of the exterior spigot. All work was tested after installation, and there are no leaks present at this time.
Shane Wiederholt showed up on time, was very polite and professional, checked everything out before he did anything (I appreciated that) then took care of the reason for the call. Excellent Service
I've used TE certified a few times after firing another company I didn't think I could trust. The techs are courteous, competent, and professional in my experience. They got done all the stuff I didn't want to do. Really, who WANTS plumbing and HVAC work? Their bot texted me a short introduction to the tech. They call before coming. And you can track their truck on a map. My one beef with them, and the last company, and the whole industry, is they're PRICEY. Expect some serious dents in your debit card. I do not casually spend the amounts of money below. Every $ 50 has to be considered. Examples from 2025: * Replace kitchen sink with customer provided part. Somewhat complicated. ~ 2 hr work by one tech. ~ $ 200. It was worth it to pay them. * Replace faucet, valve, and shower head with customer provided parts. Complicated. Tub is over a stairway. ~ 4 hr work by two techs. ~ $ 800. Definitely worth it. * Unfortunately, replumb 2/3 of a small 1300 SQ FT home with unfinished basement with lots of stuff, relocate main valves and pressure regulator, add indoor hose connector, reconnect water heater, toilet, tub and shower, kitchen sink, dishwasher, add shutoff valves for tub and shower. Complicated. ~ 3 days work by 2 - 3 techs. ~ $ 5 - 6 K. I'm told they have a lifetime workmanship warranty. Bottom line. I like them. I trust them. I have a hard time paying them.
He figured out a rather complex problem and fixed it. Working great now
Great Coordination with your scheduler. Prompt and reliable service that was well communicated. But the best part of it all, was Ricky, he came, listened, diagnosed and fixed my multiple plumbing issues. A true asset to any company and definitely will ask for again and recommend to all family and friends.
