I was called out to Grant and Carly’s house for a noise issue. Grant and Carly have lived here since 2019 so we performed a thorough evaluation. During the evaluation I wasn’t able to pinpoint the cause of the sound but the dual capacitors were weak and they were replaced today. We also discovered the return ducts are undersized, the acs need cleaned, the drain lines don’t have proper slope, and the flood protection is minimal.

Upon arrival we met with the customer who directed us to the master shower with complaints of slow to drain. Upon inspection we found it was the only fixture affected and used the flexshaft to clear the drain. Tested to ensure proper flow and function. Secondary complaints of basement sink slow to drain. Performed a hand clear. Tested thoroughly, but was slow to drain due to popper not able to be raised properly. Informed the customer who said that was fine. We replace bulbs around home and install a Carbon smoke detector in hallway

For this job, I came off an existing floodlight. We installed four years ago and added a brand new wire run for a new floodlight to the back left of the home.

Installed 4 customer supplied ceiling fans

Came back on 10/26/26 and properly replaced the main floor’s gas valve. Tested system, system is heating properly at this time.

We install a new circuit for a floor outlet in the living room

I came out today because the system was not operating and the thermostat had lost power. I found the wet switch tripped and flushed the drain line, which appeared to be draining properly. Ý While checking refrigerant readings, I found the evaporator was operating below freezing. Further inspection revealed a heavily clogged filter and loose insulation from the coil cabinet stuck against the evaporator coil, restricting airflow. After correcting both airflow restrictions, system operation improved. However, refrigerant readings were still outside the expected range. I recommended rechecking pressures and system performance when the outdoor temperature is above 75°F, within the manufacturer’s charging guidelines. Fro this job customer had plugged something up to a receptacle in the master bedroom and it sparked. It also tripped the arc fault breaker. After inspection previous installer had smashed the wires in between the wall and the outlet. Replaced outlet and checked all the other outlets in the home.

Upon arrival, met with customer and spoke with him regarding their issue. Customer showed me inside and upstairs to the master bathroom. Customer states one of the lavatory sinks is draining slowly. I confirmed that the clog is just beneath the strainer for the sink and will need to be removed. Customer also said their son’s bathtub was draining slowly but they were able to get it draining better with draino. I gave the customer options to clear both the sink and tub and after getting signature approval I began work. Removed large amount of hair from inside the sink drain and cleaned out any remaining debris. Reconnected tubular waste under the sink and flushed the sink with hot water multiple times. Sink is now draining well. No leaks. I then removed more hair from the tub drain and snaked it approximately 10’. Did not pull anything back on cable. Flushed tub drain with hot water as well. The tub is draining well. Cleaned all work areas. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.

Today I came out due to upstairs system not heating. System is a 2012 Amana furnace located in attic servicing upstairs level. I found a loose wire going into control board. I stripped back wire, put in board, and secured it. System fired right up and started heating. I looked over system and found a few areas of concern. Blower motor capacitor is failing as it’s rated for 12.5MFD +/- 5% and its actual reading is 8.69MFD. Blower wheel is impacted with dust and debris on fan blades. Flame sensor has heavy carbon build up. System is short on return air as it only has one 12inch return. Drain line has a couple of bellies forming. After going over all findings and options, customer has decided to do the low voltage repair today and will get back to me on what else they would like to get taken care of. (Does not include new high voltage circuit for condenser - Electrical coming to quote tomorrow. Also doing full panel replacement)

Performed 2 system furnace inspection 2017 lennox. Found that both furnaces gas pressures were was to high; I lowered the gas pressures to the correct pressures. I left extra air filters 2) 16x25x1. I flushed the drain lines and added clean out T's. I found that the blower motor capacitors are near failure and needs to be replaced (blower motor capacitors start up the fan motor that push air through the vents). The upstairs AC evaporater coil and mainfloor evaporater coil both have biological growth on them; emailed estimates for UV light to help prevent the black biological growth from spreading. Both hvac systems could benefit from having better flood protection; current flood protection for both systems is sub-par. The upstairs AC system has a failing outdoor capacitor and has a refrigerant leak. The upstairs AC system is not under warranty. A leak search needs to be performed before repair estimates can be provided. I will email an estimate for a leak search for the upstairs system

I replaced a 50 gallon atmospheric gas water heater along with a new prv and main shut off. I tested my work thoroughly to ensure there were no further issues

For this job we performed a full plumbing inspection. During our visit we found some old toilets, one would run and the others were the same model. We upgrades the toilets to Kolher high efficiency and comfort hight. We replaced 3 toilets. Both faucets in the master bath were replaced along with the supply lines. In master bath shower we replaced the cartridge. We tested all work and left work area clean. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.

Adding flood light

For this job customer said front porch lights do not work and they already tried changing for new bulbs and still don’t work. After popping the switch plate off that controls the fixtures I noticed the switch that controls the lights was broken and the metal tab was completely off of the switch. I replaced the switch and all works great now.

Found leak in ceiling of basement on copper 90. Cut out section of pipe and replaced. Turned water on and tested

Provide and install new Siemens 15a high frequency AFCI breaker.

Toilet rebuild to the toilet in the second floor hallway bathroom.

Arrived on site and the women’s middle stall toilet was leaking at the flush valve connection every time the toilet tired to flush, and the toilet was also not flushing completely. The toilet needed new internal flush valve parts, and the toilet spud needed to be replaced to stop the leaking. Once parts were replaced I tested the toilet to ensure proper functioning. Toilet is now operating properly without issues.
