SERVICE CALL: upon arrival homeowner stated the basement heat pump system is not cooling properly. After complete troubleshooting I found the Outdoor heat pump unit GOODMAN/AMANA 1 1/2 ton capacity 5 years old r 2021 model check refrigerant pressures are almost empty only 15 psi Due to failed Schrader valve at low suction port. I recommend valve repair plus recharge complete system with 7 pounds of refrigerant r 410a. Customer need to talk with his wife about the quote and then he will call us back to complete repairs. Replaced dual capacitor and cleaned condenser coil.

we were out today because the customer noticed water around the water meter. Gave Mr. the option to dig up the ground to expose the leak. Once uncovered, we found the leak coming from the shutoff valve near the meter. Today we repaired the leaking shutoff valve and restored water to the home. After the repair, we purged the whole house of air and tested all connections for proper operation and leaks. All is working properly at this time.

Rebuilt, guest toilet for customer

Repalce toilet fill valve Replace flapper Customer was experiencing a toilet not filling up due to failing fill valve. Flapper also looked very worn out which was causing water to leak the little water from fill valve through toilet bowl. Replaced fill valve and flapper, toilet now has proper flow and flush. Clearing successful!

Disposal reset/Dislodged performed. Also, quoted for new disposals if homeowner would like to replace. Pushed reset button, cleaned debris with ice chips, educated homeowner about maintenance of the disposals. Tested disposal multiple times, working properly, no leaks.

Perform leak search for the main floor. Found a small leak on the suction Schrader valve. Tighten the Schrader valve and the leak went away. Proceeded to add 1 pound of refrigerant to the main floor. This brought the sub cool from a 1.6 to a 10. Upstairs unit was overcharged on refrigerant. Recovered roughly 1 pound of refrigerant from the upstairs unit bringing the sub cool down from a 17 to an 11. Both units are cooling properly at this time.

For this job, I came to look at a system that was not cooling. Once I arrived, I tried to put the thermostat in cool mode and noticed as soon as the contactor outside kicked in the thermostat shut off. I proceeded to inspect the indoor unit to ensure that all the wires were properly connected. I Went outside to measure all the electrical components and noticed that the contactor was extremely low and shorted out. I explained my findings to the customer and provided an estimate and he agreed to get the contactor replaced today. I Proceeded to replace the contactor and tested the unit several times on and off to ensure the system was properly working as it should.

Clear shower blockage Customer called us out for a tub on the 2nd floor that was draining slow. Upon arrival customer stated they have been having this issue for a couple weeks now. We went to test the bathroom group to ensure we weren’t experiencing a bigger issue, after running water for a long period of time only the tub was being affected. We ran water in the tub and noticed the water start to back up right away. We removed the stopper and removed any debris in the drain and we ran our cable machine to clear any obstructions in the line. We were successful in restoring proper flow and we brought back hair buildup. Customer also had a concern about the water pressure coming in the home, and we also took a look at the water heater for a visual inspection and it’s about 2 years old. The customer agreed to have a service technician come out and give an estimate to possibly do maintenance on the water heater and further investigate on the water pressure. I replaced one double tapped breaker to new, I moved two other double tapped circuits to the subpanel and installed 2 new breakers. The 2 double tapped breakers are separated and 3 new breakers in total were installed

Troubleshot burning smell coming form the dining room light fixture. Found incandescent bulbs that heat up extremely quickly and intensely. Found a slight scorch mark on the inside of one of the light sockets. I recommended replacing the bulbs for leds that are more energy efficient and do not put off that kind of heat. Gave estimates to install surge protection at the panel and to add an outlet on the hallway for a picture calendar.

Performed two system HomeCare, main floor was short cycling at furnace. Found bad contactor outside. Cleared both drain lines they tie in behind washer. Left homeowner with recommendations for repairs

For this job, I completed a one system full inspection. I proceeded to check the unit and all of its components to ensure that everything was working. I got amp readings on the heat strips and cleared the drain line with 2 gallons of water and vinegar. I Then proceeded to inspect the outdoor unit and all its electrical components as well as get pressure readings. I explained all findings as well as provided estimates. The customer decided to go with replacement of the capacitor today.

For this job, I completed a one system, homecare maintenance. I tested the unit and all of its functions to ensure that everything was working. I cleaned the flame sensor, inspected the blower wheel and burners. I cleared the drain lines with 2 gallons of water and vinegar. I then proceeded to inspect the outdoor unit and measure all electrical components as well as pressure readings. I explained my findings to the customer and provided estimates. The customer agreed with going with the condenser coil cleaning so I was able to perform that job today.
