Water leak for main system. Found clogged drain. Cleared with coil cleaner and lots of water. Also found failing dual capacitor, dirty blower wheel, and no flood protection. Homeowner wasn’t ready for other repairs today besides bandaid.

Upon arrival found water leaking thru broken air admittance valve underneath kitchen sink. Replaced part with new. Ran water and tested for leaks. If problems persist with drain suggest having a drain tech camera and snake waste line.

Arrived found system cooling. Spoke with customer stated one side of the house stays warmer than the other. Adjust vent to push more air to warmer side of the house. Evaporator coil and the blower wheel are clean. Has auxiliary pan, which does not have in-line safety or wet switch. Checked outdoor unit. Checked capacitor, contactor, and pressures. All are good. System cooling and operating as should at this time. Scheduled with office for install supervisor to come out and give quote on ductwork or possibly adding zoning. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
