As we arrived today, we were shown a damaged to meterbase where a tree had fallen on the line and tore down the service mast pipe and damaged inside the meterbase itself. We removed all of the damaged materials and installed brand new meter base/disconnect combo with a new serviced mast pipe, weatherhead, eyebolt and wire. We also replaced the ground wire since it was not long enough to reach the new connections in the meter base. It is connected to both existing ground rods. We have already submitted a request to Haralson County for inspection. What’s that date is set up. I will let customer know. It was nice meeting all of you today!
