Replced 40 gallon water heater with 50 gallon gas water heater. Installed new ball valve shut off, thermal expansion tank (strapped), water heater pan, water moisture alarm, gas shut off valve, gas flex line, and replied exhaust venting. No leaks, water is getting hot.

Upon arrival customer stated that that upstairs AC was not working when they turned it on, upon checking system, compressor was not running, checked dual capacitor and found that capacitor was reading 0.4 mf, also found condenser fan capacitor reading below specs, contactor starting to get week, explained to customer all units are r22 and as of 1/1/2020 r22 is obsolete, upstairs inducer motor is also over amping, blower wheel is dirty, condenser coil & evaporator coil is also dirty, heat exchanger also has a lot of discoloration, capacitor is bad and will need to be replaced, however we recommended getting install supervisor out to give quotes on updating system. Unit also does not have any flood protection installed, recommended UV protection as home does not have any indoor air quality. Customer would like to hold off on all repairs today and will have install supervisor come out to give estimates.

On Thursday morning, my refrigerator repair person discovered that the water supply to it was leaking under the linoleum floor in my kitchen. Then we discovered that my gas water heater had recently begun leaking! I called TE then, and the schedulers were able to find a cancellation for Friday morning. Demetrius arrived about 11:00am, and worked, with Johan who arrived later, until 7:30pm to install a water box for the refrigerator and install a new electric water heater, for which Alex was assigned to do the electrical work. I really appreciate the long day that Demetrius and Johan put in to complete this urgent work in a timely manner.

Alex assessed the functions of the panel box relative to the DeKalb county code, and worked up four estimates ranging from "must-do-now" to "should-do-future". I really appreciate him laying out these options so that I could make an informed decision relative to urgency vs. cost.

Clear blockage in kitchen sink Customer was experiencing a blockage in the right side of the kitchen sink. Upon arrival I tested the left side of the sink to ensure it was only the right side being affected. After running water for a long period of time, only the right side of the sink was being affected. I removed pTrap assembly to inspected and clean pipes, upon removal I noticed food debris in pTrap assembly. I reassembled the pTrap and tested for leaks/backups and we’re successful.

Quoted for leak repair on kitchen sink, retrap, and capping off 2 old laundry sink lines in basement, non use. Removed old trap and left bowl basket strainer, installed new strainer and trapped same, (informed homeowner the drain needs to be lowered to function properly) had to put on reverse trap at kitchen sink. turned off water, drained lines down, capped off lines and removed scrap pipe, pressurized system, purged lines, tested fixtures no leaks.

Customer was having issues with the sink draining in the hallway bathroom, so I ended up running my cable down the line and removed some hair, but it was also a lot of rust due to having cast-iron, customer just moved in and the entire house is cast-iron drain pipes. I let the customer know I think the main issue is the cast-iron rust that’s catching the hair. I was able to get the sink draining again after testing it with no leaks and no backups. We have a camera tech coming out to inspect the drain pipe and leave options to replace the cast-iron.

Came out for leaking toilet gave estimate customer agreed to replace picked up toilet pulled old toilet found flange broken got customer he seen flange told me to replace it as well. Also replaced angle stop as a courtesy. Tested all no failure at this time

Examined the toilet in the upstairs bathroom and noticed water on the floor. Saw water coming from the handle, removed the lid and noticed that the water level was too high. Cut opened the ceiling below and saw that the subfloor was completely wet. Flushed the toilet multiple times and no active leak occurred. Removed and replaced the pressure regulator, shut off valves, and fill valve inside of the upstairs toilet. The water pressure to the home is set at 65psi.
