Completed service call, found compressor tripping. The breaker wires are badly burn, contactor, and capacitor, and electrical disconnect will have to be replaced along with the compressor.

For this job, we worked on replacing a bad outlet in the garage that was showing signs of going out because it would turn on and off as you plug in the tester. We replaced it with a GFCI outlet as they did not have GFCI protection before, and it was not up to code. Tested the outlet after installing and it’s working properly.

Removed and replaced shower valves in both upstairs bathrooms. Turned on the water and pressurized the system. Tested with no leaks.

Located a leak on the kitchen stove gas line. I removed the regulator and applied thread sealant and reinstalled. No other leaks.

For this job, I came to look at a system that was making a loud noise. The customer stated that it was coming from the main level condenser system, and he suspected it might’ve been the fan. I proceeded to thoroughly test and inspect the amp readings as well as testing all its electrical components and unfortunately, it did not make a noise at the moment. While the customer wanted to go ahead and sign up for the plan and for me to look at both systems. Proceeded to perform two homecare maintenance, testing unit and heat and cool. I cleared the drain line with 2 gallons of water and vinegar and tested all electrical components as well as got pressure readings. I explained all my findings to the customer and provided estimates. I performed a troubleshot on kitchen outlets that had a burn mark. I checked out all of the kitchen outlets and found one outlet that was breaking and another that was completely melted. Voltages were checked at the breaker and devices. We replaced the two damaged outlets today and I left estimates to replace the remaining outlets, Seperate the neutrals in the panel, and to add surge protection.

Customer called about a loose kitchen faucet. TE arrived and inspected faucet. Advised to disconnect and secure stem at base of housing. Secured base at housing and reinstalled. Tested for leaks.

Run cable in laundry drain Customer called us out for a laundry line backing up. Upon arrival we tested for mainline blockage, but laundry was only drain affected. The customer stated that she is getting an egg smell from the hot water tap. Upon inspection we found that the customer has a 9 year old water heater that needs multiple repairs. Also the Anod rod and the lack of maintenance may be the reason for the egg smell coming from the hot water.

Came out to see why a floodlight was not working. I checked the connections and voltage. Everything seemed to be proper left quote to replaced floodlight with a motion sensor and one without and changed the switch for the light in the garage.

For this job, I was able to sign the customer up for a home care maintenance plan and complete his homecare maintenance today. I proceeded by checking everything in the unit and testing it and heat and cool to ensure that everything was working. I cleaned the sensor, inspected the blower wheel and burners. I cleared the drain line with 2 gallons of water and vinegar. I then proceeded to inspect the outdoor unit and measure all electrical components as well as get pressure readings. Met with owners on site. I set up in the bathroom, removed the toilet nd ran the mini Jetter from there to the penetration in the back right corner of the home. After making several passes, the line began to fill up. I found it had clogged past the cleanout 4” ABS in the crawlspace which was beyond the distance of my equipment. From the kitchen, I ran my 400 to clear the blockage and restore flow. I believe the debris I removed had caught down line and blocked the drain. I checked the line with the camera and confirmed there is no standing debris. Reset the toilet, tested and confirmed no leaks or errors. Perform a mini hydro jetting through toilet to blow out all debris from drain pipe. Use mini camera to inspect. Reset toilet once completed.

For this job, I worked on installing a customer provided ceiling fan in the master bedroom. had to install a ceiling fan pancake box as it did not have one before, which makes it unsafe and not up to code. also provided and installed a switch as a courtesy in the master bedroom.

Reset toilet inside master bathroom. Opened drywall inside closet to expose shower valve. Client purchased shower valve and not tub/shower valve. Client will order remodel plate and correct tub/shower valve, will schedule another visit when these parts come in. Client is still searching for parts for master shower rebuild.

Today’s visit was for the system not cooling. Customer said the unit is not reaching set point temperature even at night. Checked thermostat. Checked the indoor unit. No flood protection present. Did a safety check of the heat exchanger. Didn’t find any cracks at this time but there is a lot of rust. The ductwork is also undersized for the system. Checked the outdoor unit. I found the system almost out of refrigerant. Did and electronic leak search and verified the condenser coil is leaking. Also the bearing for the condenser fan motor are bad. I gave estimates for all repairs but I informed the customer that the coil may not be available. After discussing things we decided a consultation was the best option. Busted concrete in master bedroom closet to find leaking water line. Discovered it was the 1/2 line running from the master bath toilet to the manifold. I cut out the 1/2” line and ran a new water line in pex behind the wall and stubbed it out thru the wall to connect back to the toilet. I also added a new angle stop and braided stainless steel supply line for the toilet. I backfilled the hole and poured a layer of concrete back to fill the hole made. Tested and ensured everything is working properly and no more leaks present at this time.

Called out for backing up toilet into tub. When running water both bathrooms on the main floor began to back up into the shower and tub. Pull the toilet to find out that the flange was broken. Ran sewer machine through the toilet drain to attempt to clear with both of the K 400 and the K 60 sewer machines and ran them all the way full length and was unable to clear. Replace the flange and reset the toilet. Sewer supervisor is scheduled to come run a camera to find what is causing the blockage tomorrow from 2 to 5. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
