Came out today for a water stain on the kitchen ceiling. Upon arrival, the customer stated they had identified the source of the leak as the master bathroom toilet. During my evaluation, I confirmed the leak was originating from the master toilet. The tank bolts had deteriorated and were leaking, allowing water to run onto the floor and into the subfloor, which caused the water stain on the kitchen ceiling below. I also noted that all three toilets in the home are original to the house, dating back to 1997. Due to their age, I discussed several options with the customer, including rebuilding all three toilets or replacing them. The customer elected to move forward with rebuilding only the master bathroom toilet at this time. After completing the rebuild, I thoroughly tested the toilet for proper operation and leaks. The toilet is now functioning properly, and no leaks were present at the time of completion.

For this job, I completed a system inspection. I tested the unit and all of its functions to ensure that everything was working. I inspected the burners, blower wheel, and electrical components. I then proceeded to inspect the outdoor unit and measure all its electrical components as well as get pressure and temperature readings. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today.

Relocated new water heater outside of closet temporarily. Will return once water mitigation is complete to relocate water heater into closet for its permenant location.

Install new Tesla wall charger in garage , deleting oven/dryer circuit. And repurposing that circuit for Tesla charger

Troubleshoot breakers tripping

Customer says AC is not cooling. Inspected Trane AC located in laundry room which services whole house. Found outdoor coil leaking. Dual cap out of specs. Contactor pitted. Blower needing a cleaning. Compressor needing a kick start. Customer moved forward with repairs. Need to pick up coil in the morning.

Called out for item stuck in disposal. A metal cup had fallen into the sink drain on the disposal side and customer was unable to remove it. Cup was able to be removed safely and disposal is now free of any blockages and is operating properly. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!

Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. Found a burned out contactor, compressor, pooling, high and pressure capacitor and kickstart was already added. Client would like a quote for a new AC and coil.

Rebuilt the flush valve in the girls restroom in room 450 replaced the leaking flush valve in the boys restroom room 400 and rebuilt the flush valve in the boys restroom room 350 and replaced the hose bib on the rear of the building

Tested house for mainline blockage but found no active blockage. Cleanout outside of home was not holding any water either. Replaced all toilets In house. Cleared a blockage in master bathroom shower drain that consisted of hair/gunk. Shower now has proper drain flow. Cleared blockage in 2nd floor hallway bathroom sink. Consisted of sink buildup. Run cable in cleanout going towards home Run cable machine Customer called us out because they were experiencing multiple toilets clogging up. Upon arrival I ran water for mainline test and toilet started to gurgle. Clean out on exterior of home was not holding any water indicating blockage was inside the home. Upon investigating crawlspace we noticed cast-iron drains original to 1962 home. This is not the first time that customer has dealt with whole house back up. Pulled toilet on main floor hallway bathroom and ran cable machine. After several runs, we were able to successfully clear blockage. Did not bring anything back on cable when clearing. After clearing, I ran a stress test on house by running all the water in fixtures. I did not see any signs of system backing up. Clearing successful. Camera inspection scheduled for tomorrow 11 and two to investigate further. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
