Job Locations and Reviews
Customer called us out for the main shower not draining. On arrival the shower was still holding water. I recommended clearing with a cable machine. Customer agreed. Customer does have cast iron. I removed the drain cover and ran a cable machine down the drain successfully clearing the blockage. I then cleaned up and tested the drain thoroughly. Customer’s garbage disposal was also very rusty so I left a quote for a new one.
Home care visit today on package unit behind home. Disconnect for package unit is to close to unit and can not be opened fully. Shut power off at breaker panel and advised homeowner of disconnect issue. Gas pressures were high at 3.98" w/c and adjusted down to 3.3" w/c. Inspected electrical components, gas components and heat exchanger. Tested system in heating and cooling operations. 5e filter that was installed was the incorrect size and replaced dirty filter with a 16x25x4 filter with homeowners approval.
Disconnect and remove ABS piping in crawl area off basement and cap just before piping drops and goes vertical. Install new pvc from kitchen across crawl through block wall into unfinished basement. Extend along stud wall towards staircase. Then turn and drop down to tie into 4” ABS stack. This will bypass cast iron running under basement slab. Installation: We rerouted the kitchen drain from the kitchen through the basement to a drop into the slab. For the tankless, we sleeved the T&P line and replaced it with 3/4 copper. Properly terminated both T&P and condensation line out side and sealed. Popped intake outside and properly sealed. Upsized the gas line to 3/4 from 1/2 inch. We installed a crossover tee under the kitchen sink and set Navien tankless settings accordingly.
Arrived for no heating on heat pump system in attic. Heat pump was locked out on high pressure switch being tripped. Checked electrical components, refrigerant levels and coil on heat pump. Heat pump coil is dirty and highly recommend a proper coil cleaning. In attic air handler is zoned with 2 14" dampers for upstairs and downstairs. Bypass damper was set low at 2" w/c and was open. Checked all electrical components, filter (18x25x1), heat strips and drain line. Found system pressures were raising high from lack of air flow across air handler coil. The zone board is sending 18v to dampers and zone dampers are not opening fully. The downstairs damper is stuck in its current position. Spoke with homeowner and presented repairs options as well as recommendations to system.
Removed existing water heater and installed a high-efficiency hybrid (heat pump) water heater. Hybrid systems use ambient air to heat water, significantly reducing energy usage and operating costs while maintaining reliable hot water capacity. Installed new water heater pan, ball valve, and thermal expansion tank. Tested new heater for leaks and found none.
Installed gfci protection for kitchen counter and bedroom outlets. Replaced basement outlet and dual function breaker.
Replaced a damaged section of 3 inch cast iron vent pipe. Quoted water heater due to age.
After thoroughly evaluating a home that is a home care costumer we found two issues with hallway bathroom upstairs and of the two fixed one let homeowner know to order handle for toilet and we would install and charge a travel fee. Homeowner is aware of issues in the master bathroom and is having her contractor fix them recommended homeowner to install a filtration system due to high chlorine and to save new fixtures and plumbing system Homeowners contractor added a check valve to the recirculation pump. Install an outlet for a touchscreen.
Upon arrival I met with the homeowner, there was a leak in the basement. At the penetration of home where main sewer line comes into home fitting is cracked. A camera technician will be back Monday to give homeowner more information on a quote. Water pressure was at 120 psi and expansion tank was failed. I removed and replaced existing expansion tank and pressure regulating valve. Regulating valve was set to 65 PSI and expansion tank is now properly strapped to wall. I checked and tested for leaks and conducted a super clean up.
The best customer service ever!
Called out to address issues with the garbage disposal been jammed. Found that the garbage disposal was indeed jammed. Gave the homeowner options to either just unjam it, or to replace it with a new one. Also gave homeowner options for faucet replacement in the kitchen due to the handle being loose. Homeowner agreed to replace kitchen faucet and to unjam the garbage disposal. Purchased a faucet from Home Depot at the customers request and installed in the kitchen. Unjammed the disposal and ran and tested for leaks and functionality. No leaks and disposal is not working properly. I’m jamming of the garbage disposal was done with no warranty due to it being an old product. Thank you for trusting TE certified with all your plumbing needs
To be honest, 10's across the board
Today I came out for heat pump not working. Upon arrival I found the heat pump in lockout mode due to high pressure. I found a kink in the liquid line right outside right before it goes into the home. I reset the system and system ran for 30 minutes but the pressure was steadily increasing until it will lock itself out again. Chris also informed me his main unit was not cooling properly during the summer and asked if I could take a look at it. Unfortunately, it began to rain and I was unable to get my gauges on to test pressures. However, given the furnace had a bunch of rust along inducer and throughout I inspected the heat exchanger. I found an eyelit cracked and separating. Based off the age of equipment, I recommend replacing both the heat pump and furnace. After going over options, Chris is going to discuss it with his wife and get back to me on how he would like to proceed. It was a pleasure to meet you today and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
Cole did an excellent job upgrading my kitchen lighting today. He also installed outdoor outlets that I really needed. I had been running extension cords through the garage and basement for Christmas lighting. It was truly a “Griswold Family” moment when all the Christmas lights came on without all the hassle! Now I have safe lighting, professionally designed. Cole is a pleasure to work with and I will definitely call him again when needed.
Bypass Ballast In Kitchen, Add Outdoor Outlet On Front Porch
Homeowner had noticed water flooding at the side of the house. The water meter was spinning. Had locates out to locate where the leak was. Located under a tree. Removed the tree and dug down and did not find the water line or the leak. After further digging and investigating we found the main water line and the leak. The water line is a 1 inch poly line. A brick was on top of the water line and over time caused a pin hole leak. Cut out section of failed pipe and inserted new section of pex piping. Turned the water on and checked for leaks. Purged air from the system and backfilled dirt. Washed off dirt from the walkway. Everything is working properly at this time.
Replaced two switches by front door and also replaced GFCI outlet in sink side of kitchen.
Customer would like for the technician to install a customer supplied kitchen sink faucet. Recommend removing filtration system from underneath the sink due to the fact it is attached together to the old faucet. Customer already has a whole house filtration system for the home. Work performed installed new kitchen sink faucet and attached new supply lines to the cold and hot shutoffs underneath the sink. In addition removed filtration system from underneath the sink per customer request. Tested new faucet for leaks and found none.

Lennox Zoned System - Not Heating evenly System not heating properly due to failed damper motors and improper settings on the Ecobee thermostats. I changed the settings on the thermostats so they don’t cut the heat pump off when outdoor temperatures get below 36°. I recommended replacing the damper motors due to them sticking closed. The homeowner approved this estimate. Replaced all 3 motors and tested equipment. System is operating properly at this time. Single stage equipment is not intended to utilize zoning and the equipment will likely have premature failures. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified, have a great day!
Today we came out for only system not heating Lennox 3.5 ton heat pump single stage with zoning. Cycled equipment from thermostat found no low voltage at heat pump. Upon further evaluation of equipment from failed transformer from power outage last Friday. Client has minimal flood protection, no bypass on zoning and single stage equipment with zoning. Installed new transformer, started system up checked operations and left equipment operational. Will schedule install supervisor to give options on updating.
For this job, I came out and replaced two toilets and two angle stop valves. In the master bathroom and in the main level bathroom. Jeff and TE Certified is the most comfortable I ever felt with any plumber. He assessed my plumbing issues and thoroughly explained them. He was honest with what was going on, and how long the work would take. In another note, i personally attempted to replace a shower cartridge but forgot to put the locking pin back in. I mentioned it to Jeff the morning he arrived, and before he did any scheduled work, he told me the urgency the pin needed to attached , he he went of his way to attach the pin.
