Job Locations and Reviews
Tech was out for heat expelling hot air into the attic. Tech spoke with customer. Customer showed where air is leaking around drain pan where it was not seal. Tech seal the area around the evaporator drain pan port with silicone at a courtesy. Spoke with customer about checking system out and the following tech came a crossed. Duct work not properly seal at supply. Duct work that is connected at the back is not strapped. System is zoned for 3 levels with no bypass or DAT sensor. Cap on blower is failing causing strain on blower motor. Drain line is needing to be cleared to verify no clogs, No safety switch’s on evaporator coil or wet switch in drain pan. Outdoor condenser is need chemical cleaning. Capacitor on condenser is failing. Changed filter that customer provided. Spoke with customer about repairs on system. Customer declined at this time.
Today we came out to give some options on updating home after moving in. This estimate is to install 2 ring flood lights at flood locations and add a third above outdoor patio, this estimate also includes flipping pantry switch and installing a new can in pantry. We will also adjust family room chandelier to correct height. Customer is purchasing POE cameras for interior install. One by front door and one in kitchen area. Also new fixture in stairwell.. plans changed and we are no longer are doing the POE cameras. On feb 4th we installed a surge pro, pantry can with new switch leg, raised family room chandelier and installed a difficult chandelier. Collected 2k feb 4th. Will be collecting balance of Friday the 13th when we come to install ordered ring flood lights
Replaced partially some of the vent and rehung where drain had a dip at wall . I tried to run entire vent but there was to many obstructions that I could not replace it . The vent was running between garage ceiling and floor of main level.Wired up wet switch and run drain for furnace . Tested after installation was working properly.
A leak was reported at the water heater. The homeowner reported that the water was coming from the condensation drain vent. It appears that the condensation drain was frozen at the time the appointment was made. The condensation is draining fine and there are no leaks. Performed annual flush. Tested for function, all good. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified.
Completed system inspection. Found inducer to be audibly loud and its amps to be high but within tolerance. Slight refrigerant leak at the suction line shrader valve. Contactor is loud and shows signs of pitting.
For this job, I did a leak troubleshoot for the homeowner. We slaved the water main service. The meter did not spin. We also isolated the irrigation system. The meter still did not spin upon further investigation. However, we discovered that the leak is a slow leak on a sprinkler head that is buried Next to the sidewalk.
Only System- 15 yr old Rheem Furnace/5 yr old ac Homeowner informed me the system was making a whistle noise and had been struggling to heat the home. I observed that the heat exchanger is compromised in several areas. The blower motor is leaking oil and not reaching full rpm, the bearings are worn, and the motor is over amping. The blower wheel is completely impacted with debris which is restricting air flow across the heat exchanger and evaporator coil. The system cut off once on high limit switch due to the system over heating. When this happens the flames go out and the system will run the fan only to cool the system back down to safe operating temperature. The igniter is weak and outdated, the flame rectifier is weak and chalky. The inducer motor is loud from worn bearings and causing the motor to over amp due to higher resistance/friction rate. The furnace cabinet is rusted very thin in some areas. The return plenum has no insulation on it and this is a vented crawl space. The
Troubleshoot breaker tripping for fridge in kitchen. Install surge protection at breaker box.
Main level - 16 year old Trane System System not heating due to age mostly. The system is flashing a pressure switch error code. The pressure switch is working as it should but the system is not pulling a strong enough vacuum for it to close the pressure switch. I checked the exhaust and intake vent, checked the tube for cracks, checked the port to ensure it was not blocked, and checked the heat exchanger for cracks/holes. The heat exchanger has multiple cracks and some rusted areas, along with metal fatigue and hot spots. Most of the other components in the furnace are original and weak, such as the igniter, flame rectifier, blower motor, inducer motor, etc… After going over the age, condition, and cost of temporary repairs, the homeowner requested we send out an install supervisor to go over updating the equipment. I have scheduled this with dispatch for today. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified, have a great day!
Performed furnace inspection. Found signs of zinc oxide inside the cabinet. Furnace is functioning properly at this time. Sediment trap is improperly installed, blower wheel could be cleaned, and equipment lacks adequate flood protection.
Plumbing evaluation . Sent email for work customer is in the middle of buying the house
Came out to find hosebib bursted due to freezing. Had to open drywall in office space in order to access pipe for repair. Replaced hosebib, tested, and insulated pipes on exterior wall. Inspected Watts recirculating pump and found why it did have power, it was nonfunctional due to dry running. Left estimate for replacement.
Costumer had a leak on the p trap because the pop up wasn’t long enough, installed a extension tailpiece to it to fix to issue, tested for leaks!
AC disconnect
Call out to address a running toilet, and a water stop that would not shut off said toilet. Found that the toilet in the master bathroom was running constantly due to the flapper not sitting in the right position. When attempting to shut off the water stop for that toilet it would not shut all the way allowing water to continue to flow. Give the homeowner multiple options as far as either just repairing the toilet and replacing the water stop or replacing the toilet and also replacing the water stop. Homeowner decided to go with repair on the toilet with the replacement of the water stop as well. Work was started by shutting off water to the home and draining the system. Once water was drain cut out old failed water stop and replace with a new CPVC quarter turn water stop. Replace the failed flapper in the toilet with a new one. As a courtesy, checked to see why the hot side handle on the tub spout was spinning past the on and off position. Found that the internal threads have failed a
Arrived to inspect main level system not heating. Checked Ecobee for past alerts and one did show up on February 1st at 1:52am, problem with furnace. Inspected Goodman furnace control board that was not flashing any fault codes. Inspected electrical, gas components, heat exchanger and filter. The 20x25x5 filter dated 12/3/24 was dirty but not completely clogged. Inspected heat exchanger and noticed some hot spots and possible crack. Tested heat while checking gas pressures, static pressure, CO levels and temperatures on return and supply. Flames were changing colors and moving in different directions erratically outside of normal working conditions. Using CO meter in basement and on main level, CO slowly started rising and readings were on every level of home. Recommended to homeowner not to run main level system for the time until repairs or replacement is completed for safety purposes. Recommended system replacement for 2007 R-22 system at this time.
Costumer had a pin hole on a upanor pex pipe, we fixed the issue and left estimate to whole house repipe, everything tested no leaks.
2020 Goodman 90% furnace System making a gas smell near exhaust vent outside. The system is intermittently working, the pressure switch and control board are going bad. The system will cut power for a split second to the gas valve and the flame goes out, when the valve comes back on, raw unburnt gas flows through the system. I jumped out the pressure switch and the system ran for a few minutes the went out on a high limit fault. The high limit never opens though. The board will give off random error codes at times. Recommended replacing board and pressure switch. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified, have a great day!
We were called out for the following issues: 1) The customer had questions about a blue light on the tankless in the garage that we installed in 2021. I explained that this was a normal status light on the Rinnai WiFi controller. 2) The customer was unsure of which shutoff valve shut off the rear hose bib as it was moved during a halo 5 filtration install we did in 2025. I showed the customer the shutoff valve and installed a valve tag. 3) A toilet we installed in 2021 was occasionally running. We found a failed flush gasket, most likely due to in tank toilet bowl cleaner. We replaced the flush gasket seal on the toilet. We advised the customer to discontinue the use of in tank toilet bowl cleaners.

install fan provided by homeowner
For this job, the customer showed us a gas water heater which was vented into the chimney of the house, and wanted it replaced. We gave multiple options on replacement, and the customer opted to go with the 50 gallon power vent. We ran installed the heater up to code, and tested the equipment, and work we did. Once complete we cleaned up, and double checked everything again. We left estimates for removing the pvc, and cpvc water lines in the house, as well as removing the cast iron in the basement m and moving it to a different location to add room in the basement. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.
Great service, thank you for explaining everything well and getting me connected ahead of potential winter weather.
Installed interlock kit
Service call for water leak. Leak is around vent in basement. Visual inspection found 90% furnace in attic and draining to washer box on upstairs floor. Inspected drain termination point to verify that was the actual termination point. Camera inspection area around vent where leak is present. Could not find source of leak as there is no plumbing in the joist space around the vent. Scheduled plumber for 1/31/26 @ 9am-12pm. Signed customer up for 1 system HomeCare. Leak is more prominent when furnace is operating.

Austin Newman is a trustworthy plumber. During the coldest days this winter, our water heater broke down and we only had bone chilling cold water. Austin took care of calling Rheem to order the needed parts. He prioritized us in his schedule and when the needed part arrived at their company, he promptly installed it the following morning. Now we have hot water again! I highly recommend TE Certified for reliable plumbing and HVAC repairs.
Joshuia showed knowledge and caution with his work. He let me know what to expect and provided a completion ETA. When posed with risky challenge of a thin toilet connection, he calculated that he may need support of another technician rather talking on a potential risk of it breaking. P

Jeff and TE Certified is the most comfortable I ever felt with any plumber. He assessed my plumbing issues and thoroughly explained them. He was honest with what was going on, and how long the work would take. In another note, i personally attempted to replace a shower cartridge but forgot to put the locking pin back in. I mentioned it to Jeff the morning he arrived, and before he did any scheduled work, he told me the urgency the pin needed to attached , he he went of his way to attach the pin. I am greatly satisfied with Jeff’s knowledge, work, and helpfulness.

Jeff arrived on time at our rental property. He called me just a little bit later to walk me through his findings and options in 2 proposals that he had created. This helped me make the right decision and he rapidly performed all the work and called me again upon completion. We have been long term TE customers and this is another example of the great service that we have come to appreciate. Great job!
