Replaced chandelier and dimmer

Installed a customer supplied garbage disposal due to leaking bottom due to rust. Tested and checked for leaks

Added 14” return grille with 2 collars at grille and plenum. Ran 14” flex from plenum to newly installed grille. Rerouted 2 return runs on other side of plenum sealed all ductwork that was intalled and moved. Changed filter. Tested equipment after which is running and operating at this time.

Homeowner had leak on main line near the meter. I dug up and exposed the water service and the irrigation. Isolated the irrigation system and tested the main line. Leak was found on the main line between the meter and the irrigation tee. Replaced the section of pipe including a black iron 90 that should not be used for water. Made all connections and verified that the connections were water tight. Backfilled the dirt to grade due to rain and wet conditions the landscaping was done to the best of our ability at this moment. I tested water pressure which was higher than the allowed 40 - 80 psi. Also the water heater is recommended for replacing. Sending estimate for additional work since homeowner did not want to move forward with the additional work.

We arrived on site to check two fixtures that the lights were not working. One in a bedroom for a ceiling fan. The other fixture was in the kitchen. After examining the fixtures. Turns out both fixtures had bad bulbs. We replaced a toggle switch in the bedroom to a dimmer switch. For a fan light. We provided new dimmable bulbs for the fan light. We got with the owner to determine what color he wanted the bulbs. He wanted the 5000k color. We removed two sycom surge protectors. One in each panel. We supplied and installed (2) $75,000 lifetime warranty surge protectors one for each panel. We also provided two new 50 amp breakers for the surge protectors. The surge protectors are located at the bottom of each panel. Also as a courtesy. We examined the panels while installing the surge protectors. Some the wires on the neutral bar were not tightened properly. We secured them properly.

For this job, I worked on replacing the water heater with a new 10 year warranty unit. Also replacing pressure regulator and two stop valves. Originally I came out for a leak in the ceiling which was caused due to wax ring not sitting properly anymore.

Installed new Kohler Highline toilet in powder room on first floor of home.tested toilet for leaks and proper function. No leaks present and the toilet functions correctly.

No Heat - 23 year old Goodman System not heating due to multiple issues that all relate back to the age of the equipment. The system has a failed inducer fan motor, failed/cracked exchanger, the exhaust pipe has two different punctures in it, allowing carbon dioxide to escape into the mechanical room, the blower wheel is extremely dirty and reducing airflow across the heat exchanger, and the igniter is weak and corroded. Due to the systems, age, condition, parts, availability, and safety hazard, I recommended updating the equipment. We scheduled to have an install supervisor come out tomorrow afternoon. Arrived on site to install a new panel for the home. We flipped this panel so that it is facing the dining room. We installed a 24 space 100 amp main panel with all new breakers. We installed afci/gfci protection for all required circuits. This includes all circuits in the kitchen. I went thought and made sure all circuits had the proper gfci protection required. For the breakers, if they are in the middle position they will need to be reset. To reset the breakers, turn them off and then back on. We installed hardwired smoke detectors in each bedroom and hallway. We installed one new carbon/smoke detector in the hallway and 2 standard smoke detectors in the bedrooms. These are on the master bedroom circuit. These smoke detectors are 10 year smoke detectors they will need to be replaced after 10 years. They come with a 1 year battery. Returned today to complete sold work. Replaced old 40 gal gas water heater with new 50 gal gas with extended warranty anode kit. Also replaced main valve and prv. Water heater install included; 1. New isolation valve 2. New drip pan 3. New water leak alarm 4. New thermal expansion tank strapped to structure 5. New gas valve 6. New gas supply and sediment trap. Restored water and set new prv to 65 psi. Purged system of air and set temp on new heater to 120. After waiting for the initial heat cycle to end we ran water to verify temp was correct using a thermometer.

Removed ballast and installed LED bypass for lights in bathroom

System Not heating - 20 Hear old Lennox heat pump System not heating due to the system high voltage supply was burnt up. The disconnect and load wire were melted and burnt. The system is over amping, connections were tight. I recommended updating the equipment due to its age, condition, and safety concerns. At this time the owner wanted to replace the disconnect box and burnt wires. After completing said work, I tested the equipment. The system is now heating but over amping and not very efficient. Called out to replace three customer supplied faucets. Gave customer multiple options for replacement with and without replacing water stops. Customer agreed to replace the water stops and replace faucets and work with started. Began by shutting off water to the home and draining the system. Once water was drained, cut out 4 old water stops in the master bathroom and replace with new quarter turn water stops. Installed new customer supplied faucet in master bathroom, upstairs hallway bathroom, and main level powder room. Once I work was complete, reintroduce water to the system and tested for leaks and functionality. Everything is working properly and there are no leaks. Replaced state water heater

No heat due to a bad ignitor. Will need to replace ignitor, in order to do a full diagnostic. I also inspected the furnace, for safety. Heat exchanger is very rusted and compromised , discoloration spot in the burners (indicating that the metal is getting weak and can develop crack anytime). Blower wheel is super dirty , giving air restriction and making the blower motor working harder and can overheat and stop working. Also, evaporator coil is covered by biological growth inside. The air quality in the house is very poor and contaminated and , by having evaporator coil and blower wheel impacted, it gives arena air restriction to the house, and overheats the heat exchanger, that can lead to cracks and consequently Co leakage into the house. The air conditioner part of the system is at the same age and works with r22( Freon), that has been phased out since January 2020. We arrived on site to troubleshoot lighting at the floodlights and transformer. After inspection we found out all the flood light fixtures were bad. They had bad sensors. The transformer that powered the landscaping lights was bad. For the flood lights we supplied and installed (2) new Motion sensor flood lights one on each end of the garage. For the back patio we supplied and installed a new flood light. For the landscaping transformer we gave the the homeowner a quote for it We need to come back to this house to replace the flood light we installed. We did not have matching colors. We need to schedule to come back on either December 4th or 5th

Tech arrived spoke with customer about duct cleaning and upstairs u it having thermostat issues. Tech checked thermostat and seen that thermostat is failed let customer know that they would need to replace thermostat. Gave customer quote on replacing thermostat or customer supplied thermostat. Customer went to home depot to get thermostat for tech to put on. As of right now system is not operating due to failed thermostat. Customer has declined duct cleaning at this time and will reach back out when ready. Tech put new thermostat on that customer provided. Tested in heat and cooling . System is operating.

Customer called us out for a whole home back up. I inspected the bathroom and it took 15 minutes to show signs of a back up. I recommended clearing with a k400 in the daughters bedroom. Customer agreed I pulled the toilet and ran the cable machine but was unable to clear. I checked outside for a clean out and found one then ran the k-750 down. I was unsuccessful in clearing the blockage, it felt like I was hitting something very hard. I then attempted to clear the line with a blow bag and was successful. I reset the toilet with a new wax ring, closet bolts and china caps. Sewer supervisor will be out today 2-5.

Troubleshot outlets not working

Heat exchanger is cracked and emitting heat high enough to break limit. Advised due to the condition of the system it isn’t safe to attempt to fix Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

We came out today due to the switch for the disposal not working. The customer stated that he would bump the switch and the disposal would come on so he had purchased a new switch for the replacement. We invested with wiring and found that a 12/2 power supply is leaving the panel and going to the dishwasher and a power supply is leaving the dishwasher going to a 1900 junction box under the sink. The disposal is wired as a dead end at switch. I informed the homeowners that the wiring dishwasher is exposed and the cover is missing. We also found 14/2 wiring at the disposal switch and this circuit is on a 15 amp breaker with no GFCI protection. We installed the new customer supplied switch for the disposal and supplied and installed a new QO GFCI 15 amp breaker for the disposal and dishwasher circuit. This is on circuit #23 in the panel. After installing we tested the safety feature of the breaker, tested the disposal and the dishwasher.
