Service call Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. Found Major league in evaporator coil upstairs, recommend replacing system as is a single stage unit for three zones. Also is a 10 year-old Lennox that is already leaking. Refrigerant.

The homeowner reported three pinhole leaks in the kitchen ceiling. I cut out approximately three feet of half-inch copper pipe and replaced it with new copper. Additionally, the toilet flange in the upstairs guest bathroom was too high and broken. I removed and reinstalled the toilet, then cut out the old flange, lowered the pipe, and installed a brand-new flange for the toilet. After completing the work, I tested everything to ensure there were no leaks.

Replaced light fixture

Performed one system diagnostic on the upstairs system, found a leaking rusted evap coil. The system is low on refrigerant as well indicating that it’s leaking, I left recommendations with the homeowner to repair it but replacement is a viable option considering the cost of repair and age.
Excellent

Replaced water service to the home. Drilled a new penetration through the foundation and used copper pipe wrapped in protective tape to pass through the concrete. The hole was sealed with hydraulic cement and tar on both sides. Once inside, I installed a new ball valve and PRV then ran the pipe to the existing water line in the ceiling. I removed the ball valve and PRV that were installed at the water heater in the garage. The internet service line was damaged by the digging contractor. The service provider is scheduled to repair their line tomorrow. The homeowner was made aware of the damage.

Customer stated he hasn’t had hot water since Saturday due to the hot side on the water heater leaking. The water heater is 20 years old who provided an estimate to replace it and the customer approved the work to get done today. We turn off the water to the home and cut out the existing water heater and install the new water heater pan, 50 gallon natural gas water heater, a new gas whip, a new ball valve, expansion tank, and necessary materials to perform the job. We turn on the water and make sure to bleed out the air throughout the home and let the pilot light

Installation of a technician-supplied Tesla Wall Connector integrated with a Nurio Smart Charging Kit. The project included secure mounting of the Tesla charger, electrical wiring to the main service panel in compliance with local codes, and configuration of the Nurio kit for optimized smart charging.

Troubleshoot outlets not working

The customer is getting ready to sell the home and discovered that the GFCI device by the front door was not working. The device still had power present so I supplied and installed a new Weather Resistant GFCI along with applying silicone to the gaskets In the upstairs bathroom the sconce lights were not working and the bath fan switch felt off. I removed the cover and pulled both switches out to find quick wiring was used and the switch leg for the sconce was not even attached. Both switches appear to have excess heat due to the quick wiring so I supplied and installed (2) new decora switches and tested them. I found double tapped neutrals inside the main panel along with dust and debris in the bottom of the cabinet and a 1” open hole at the top of the panel. In the sub-panel I found a multiwire branch circuit that was installed on (2) single pole breakers.

Replacing 2 damaged tandem breakers in existing panel. Customer was mounting nails in wall for pictures. Caused breakers to arch and fail.

Customers fourteen year old seventy five gallon natural gas water.Heater was not lit whenever I arrived. Discussed options as far as replacing the water heater. Customer recently had the thermal couple replaced. Thermostat, going bad. Recommended, going with a fifty gallon power vent water.Heater, as an option based off the fact that they have half inch gas coming directly up to this water heater and everything within the home is finished. Relit the water heater and it heated up a full tank of hot water. Customer wish to discuss it more before making any decision. Thank you for choosing and considering t e for your plumbing needs

Service Upgrade

Check the 3way switch by the hallway in the kitchen for the (2) recess lights and check the switch for the attic furnace. We checked the furnace and I discovered that it is missing the cover on the inside however it is properly bonded and the connections are good. The switch looked in good condition, the connections were somewhat hooked on the terminal which I corrected, I also checked the neutral connections which were good. At the 3g switch box center switch we pulled it out and found quick wiring which has been corrected. As a courtesy we checked the furnace above the attic and found that inside the unit is missing cover over the junction box and the switch is in good condition

Kitchen outlets tripping with new coffee maker

Customer called us out for a clogged toilet in preschool bathroom. On inspection the toilet didn’t seem clogged but did have aa building flush. I gave the customer multiple options and they choose to have the toilet replaced. We ordered a toilet and returned the next day to install it. We removed the old toilet and installed the new one with new closet bolts, china caps, wax ring, and supply line. Tested toilet throughly and cleaned up.

Found rodent(s) dead inside drain pan. Will return tomorrow to complete quoted work Removed drain pan, cleaned and deodorized it. Vacuumed plenum, cleaned and deodorized it. Cleaned evaporator coil. Secured sagging return plenum with wood and cinder block. Replaced 2 supply duct runs, reconnected disconnected 1 return duct. Completed inspection and found the system to be heating and cooling properly at this time.

For this job rendered leak detection services for service tech Austin and discovered leak 6 to 7 feet out from foundation penetration underneath a bush in the flower bed water main service is blue poly.
Excellent and efficient service on the malfunctioning flushing mechanism in the tank of my toilet. The part was needed for the repair was available in the truck, and the service was completed in 20 minutes.

2018 Carrier system - Not cooling well We moved this system a while back to allow access for drainage pipe. The system was not wired up 100% properly for a ai gel stage AC on a 2 stage furnace. The furnace was only running on low speed. I re-wired the main control board to run at high speed and switch to low speed on timer for dehumidification. System is now operating properly.
