Arrived removed two returns and two supplies to basement. Capped off two returns and to supplies. Install the cap use duct metal screws, and mastic tape. Wrapped in insulation and secured with silver tape. Re-wrapped return that was coming off. Cycled unit on all is good.

Customer noticed an unusually high water bill starting around November and reported that the water meter was spinning even when no fixtures were being used in the home. Upon inspection today, we located the issue in the front yard main water service line. After excavating the area, we found a pinhole leak in the existing 1-inch CTS water line. The damaged section of pipe was cut out and replaced. Water was turned back on and the system was tested. At this time there are no leaks present and the meter is no longer spinning when water is not in use. The excavation was then properly backfilled and the area restored.

For this job, it was required to me to replace several sections of piping that had pinhole leaks. This particular piping is copper and all leak repairs have been tested for leaks in the leaks have been found. Our client also had a bad shut off valve for the toilet, which was replaced. After inspecting toilet flange a new hygienic seal was installed as well as new bolts and caps. The toilet cannot be silicon due to an unfinished floor. Our client is still satisfied with the servers that was provided today.

Jamie the technician arrived on time and appeared and acted like a professional. His service was of old days being courteous and in detailed fashion explaining how the service call would proceed. He even allowed me time to go purchase an extra thermostat to install while he was there. To top off the service he even insisted wearing boot covers while walking on my hardwood floors. I had another HVAC company but will switch to TE for that as well.
