Replaced my A/C and furnace with a new Daikan unit. System now runs quiet and efficient
Troubleshooting
For this job, I worked on troubleshooting why three-way switch in the bathroom upstairs was only working when the switch was in a certain position, pulled out the switches to find a broken wire, redid the taps and wrapped the wires around the screws. The switch also was faulty so replaced the switch as well. Then I also replaced a floodlight on the corner of the house.
I came out to give you prices for the possibilities for a generator inlet, as well as the interlock kit that would be necessary to make sure that no harm would come to the lineman working on the power. Unfortunately, we cannot install one inside the garage. It would have to be outside and the two locations are beside your garage and next to the meter. I’m including the prices for both as well as moving a couple of circuits over to the far meter on the left so that we would be able to put one on one of your 200 amp circuits. I also installed a surge protector on each of your two main panels. If you have any issues with it at all, please don’t hesitate to call and we will come back out. Just want to make sure those lights are still glowing and that means it is doing its job. I also checked out the main connections on your double oven and found that they were not tightened down all the way, which can cause some problems with arcing. Because we were unsure about taking that oven out wi

Homeowner had T.E. Cut into Sheetrock to search for a leak a few weeks prior. Found the leak on the tub waste and overflow, specifically on the tub shoe. T.E. removed the tub shoe and applied a new putty seal. The tub shoe has begun leaking again. At this point it is time to replace the tub waste and overflow, and install a new tub shoe. Cut out and removed PVC tub waste and overflow. Removed overflow trim plate and tub shoe. Installed new PVC tub waste and overflow. Installed new overflow gasket and tub shoe gasket. Applied new putty seal to new chrome tub shoe. Installed new tub shoe. Installed new chrome overflow plate. Whilst installing tub shoe, I noticed that the sealing for the stainless steel tub was slightly worn around the drain flange. Filled tub to overflow and let sit for 5 minutes. Drained tub to test for leaks. Tub is no longer leaking.
Clear blockage in bathroom sink Bottle of endure for preventative maintenance Customer called us out for a blocked up sink in the master bathroom. There was also a sink in a guest bathroom that was not draining due to stopper being down. Adjusted stopper connection so it would not catch against waterline. That sink now has proper flow.I disassembled P-trap assembly in master bathroom to clear blockage. Removed hair and sink gunk from fixture. Reassembled drains and tested for leaks. Sink now has proper drain. Clearing successful. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
I made a repair to this customers main water service. The leak was at the meter and was caused due to tree roots. I tested thoroughly to ensure there were no further issues at this time
I was called out to Caren’s house for a cooling issue on the suite system. Caren has lived here for about 6 years so we performed a thorough evaluation. During the evaluation we discovered the system has a furnace from 2002 and an ac from 2012 making the, past normal life expectancy, there isn’t any flood safeties on the system, the filter doesn’t fit correctly, the blower and condenser fan motors are worn out, the return ductwork is undersized, the gas line is missing its sediment trap, the wheel is very dirty, the ac could use a cleaning, the board has some corrosion, the heat exchanger has rust and corrosion, the ac is missing its locking caps, and the thermostat is very old. We verified the basement system was installed in 2019, the upstairs system is brand new from 2026, and the main system has a 2010 furnace and a 2006 ac. Due to the age, reliability, and lack of warranty replacement is a viable option to update the main and suite systems to today’s standards.
Today we came out for upstairs system not cooling 2012 trane 3 ton ac with matching furnace after lightening strike last week. Checked all operations found failed start components in condenser, impacted condenser coil and compromised heat exchanger. Installed new start components and cleaned condenser coil, started system up found circuit low on refrigerant system has refrigerant leak. In addition condenser fan motor is over amping .93 amps and could fail at anytime. Due to lightening strike electrical components have been compromised and could fail at anytime. Scheduled install supervisor to give options on updating. There is no warranty on the repairs made today or the refrigerant added to system and it could leak out at anytime.
Customer called us out for a whole home back up caused by large belly in the sewer line. We have cleared it before and had a sewer supervisor out. On arrival the clean out on the back patio was holding water. I recommended clearing with a drain machine and the customer agreed. I ran the machine down the line and it drained but filled back up when tested. I recleared it and it did not refill. No warranty due to known imperfections in the pipe. Customer did not want a sewer supervisor out for another quote.
Disconnected light switch and light because water got inside from roof leak
Attic fan is currently not working as intended. Sara is selling the home and is wanting to get items addressed before they pop up on the inspection report. We are going to determine if there’s power to the attic fan and try to see if the attic fan will operate as intended. If it requires any additional work, we will present those options to Sara at the time required. Demo wiring of attic fan and install remaining whip inside of a junction box so it is properly concealed to avoid any hazards
Zach called when he was on his way. Let me know what he was doing, and why. Answered questions I had. Very knowledgeable. Made sure everything worked. Polite.
Customers water heater was leaking and pressure was at 80 psi replaced both water heater and the pressure reducing valve. Everything is good to go and job is ready for inspection.
For this job I made a spot repair on the main water line right after the meter box. I cut out section that was cracked and also removed section that has a shark bite fitting as well. I installed new PEX fittings and pipe to make connection. I tested and had no more leaks. Customer asked for ,e to not back fill area. Left work area clean.
Toilet remove and replace /clear stoppage and new angle stop at toilet in guest bathroom….
For this call, we had originally come out to replace a garbage disposal in the kitchen, and upon doing a courtesy inspection of the water heaters we found that in the mechanical room in the basement where the water heaters were located that that there was an excess amount of water on the floor. Upon further inspection, we found that the expansion tank for the water heaters had burst and cause significant amount of water damage to the basement floors. Due to the excessive amount of water on the floor the homeowner reached out to a remediation company to come and inspect the severity of the damage. Advised homeowner that it would be best for us to replace the water heaters since there was a lot of water damage to the casing of the water heaters themselves. Homeowner agreed and we went ahead and replace the water heaters. For the first day we came out and remove the existing water heaters and capped the water lines in order for remediation to dry out the area. On the second visit after t
I called Friday to schedule a plumber for a slow-draining toilet that had been out of service for several days. TE scheduled me for Monday, then called Saturday with an opening. That was great. Kyle evaluated the problem and proposed three solutions. We accepted his recommendation and the toilet now functions properly. He was respectful of our home, pet our dog (!), explained everything he was doing, completed the work and left the bathroom in pristine condition. This is why I always call TE Certified.
Upon arrival, met with customer and spoke with the, regarding their issue. Customer showed me inside to the master bathroom toilet on the main level of the home. Customer states toilet was clogged 3-4 days ago. They were able to mostly unclog it with a plunger but it is still flushing/draining slowly. Upon inspection I confirmed that this issue is isolated to the toilet. Customer also states that they have occasionally had issues with the left bathroom sink draining slowly as well. I presented the customer with options including Endure and using a closet auger on the toilet. Customer agreed and after getting signature approval I began work. Made several passes with closet auger and then tested toilet. Flushed toilet several times with and without toilet paper. Toilet is flushing stronger now and took the toilet paper away every flush. Toilet did not clog again. Cleaned work area. Customer is satisfied.
Replace two switches Replace outlet
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Outdoor capacitor failed. Drain line, clogged and painful of water. No water safeties. Several other issues noticed. The decision was made to take care of the immediate issues today. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
Homeowner had T.E. install a new water heater on May 27, 2026. Today, the toilet is not filling properly. I found that the toilet’s fill valve has failed. The fill valve is older, and most likely failed due to age and normal wear and tear. Removed failed fill valve and old supply line. Removed kohler yellow seal on flush tower. Installed new stainless steel braided supply line. Installed new brass shank fill valve. Installed new OEM Kohler flush tower seal. Adjusted fill valve to appropriate water level. Flushed toilet approximately 10 times to test for leaks. Toilet is functioning as intended. Water pressure is 55 PSI. Water heater is new, 50 gallon natural gas from 2026. Thermal expansion tank is functioning at time of invoice.

Today I came out due to water in pan of main level system. Main level system is Lennox furnace with Rheem AC coil. Upon arrival main system was running but there was water in secondary pan, filter rack, and inside furnace compartment door. I got all water out that I could. Condensation pump drains as it should and no water was built up in evaporator coil. Looks like water has been dripping through flue pipe. I went in the attic, but I couldn’t see any water marks around flue pipe, but more than likely dripping from top straight down it. Inducer motor is rusted and well over amping itself. It’s rated for 1.2 FLA (Full Load Amps), but is actually pulling 3.46 amps. Blower wheel has dust and debris build up on fan blades. Heat exchanger has a crack in it and several eye lits starting to separate. After going over all findings and options, Matt and Lauren are going to get back to me on how they would like to proceed. System is running at time of departure. It was a pleasure to meet y’all t
Full system installed for basement with: New smart thermostat New return plenum New whip and disconnect New line set New drain line New drain pan New condenser pump New outdoor pad
Replace outdoor outlet with new outdoor rated outlet and bubble cover. Replace gfci outlet in garage
We met with the owner and did a walkthrough before beginning the work. There are two ABS stacks in the basement with cleanouts and the basement toilet for access. The stack in the crawlspace is where we began. From there, we ran the kitchen sink and hydrojetter up to a point where we believe that section tied with the basement bathroom group. We could not get past that point. Once that section was cleared, we removed the basement toilet and ran the hydrojetter up to its total length. We made several passes while also running water from several fixtures. We finished that section, reset the toilet and continued to run water. We moved to the final cleanout and ran the hydrojetter to its total length, made almost a dozen full passes. We have a follow up inspection scheduled tomorrow.
Great job prompt and friendly.
Thirty minute response time. Competent plumber Nate figured out the obscure source of a leak, fixed it and, at my request, replaced two very old leaking spigot valves I had been intending to replace.
Barrett was awesome, friendly, and knowledgeable. I will request him in the future.
Impressed with Ryan and Jason. Professional.
Greatly appreciated Joaquin’s early arrival (after checking to make sure that was okay for me), quality work, and tidiness in the work area.
Very impressed, Jacob took the time to explain things to me thoroughly and was super helpful. Tremendous!
He was friendly, explained things clearly, and got the job done
Kyle, Chris, and Julian were on time, polite, and professional. They did great work and explained all the work done, including warranty services. I highly recommend these folks.
TE is the best! I’ve used them for HVAC, plumbing and electric. They have the best technicians- very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I wouldn’t get anyone else to service my home!
Dylan tackled 4 plumbing issues. The most pressing was an outdoor spigot which was spewing and required me to cut off the irrigation water at the street. That taken care of he adjusted a faucet bathroom sink handle and replaced a leaking faucet in the laundry room. His last repair was a small leak at the irrigation system near the street, but it required digging out the container box and replacing pipes...what a chore! Thanks Dylan for your expertise in correcting my plumbing problems.
He was very knowledgeable, good communication. Provided several options and completed the project quickly and professionally.
Erik noted the problem of the drain and removed the lint that was prohibiting the water to drain effectively. He was able to start a bit earlier which was also greatly appreciated.
Devin was very knowledgeable, polite and helped me understand exactly what he was doing. 10/10 experience and very happy with the outcome.
Great service, fro, professional and on time.
Vincent was great to deal with. He diagnosed the problem and with little exploration found the leak. He offered solutions and we decided on a course of action. He performed the desired work at a price that was acceptable although a little on the high side. Vincent even suggested a remediation company to repair damage caused by the leak. All in all, a very positive result!! I would use Vincent again
Andrew and his team came in after I expressed concern with a previous appointment. I felt everyone at TE really heard and understood my concerns and offered viable solutions. They went the extra mile to earn my business and give top customer service.
You missed the originally agreed upon service window, rescheduled for the next, and still arrived after the agreed upon window. While Jeremiah was very soft spoken and nice, it was obvious the goal was to inflate this invoice as much as possible. I shared the invoice with a friend in another state who is a licensed hvac technician and he literally laughed.
Great service
I had an HVAC repair done today and wanted to compliment the technician Albert Nah and the TE company for an excellent experience. The technician arrived promptly, was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous throughout the visit. What stood out most was his honesty and integrity, which is hard to come by these days and very much appreciated. He took the time to explain the issue clearly, handled the repair efficiently, and never tried to upsell or recommend anything unnecessary. It was refreshing to deal with someone so trustworthy and professional. I would absolutely recommend this company and will gladly use them again in the future.
Wayne was a nice guy but it’s disappointing that no more economical fix was offered. Overall he seemed more interested in selling a new unit than trying to solve my issue.
The guys spent most of their day here working on the plumbing for the tub and did an amazing job!
