Installed Grundfos Alpha HWR. Drained down water heater in order to remove existing recirculation line tied into the bottom. Removed old pump and replaced it with a new Grundfos. Tied recirculation line in cold inlet in a manner that would better serve the parallel design of water heaters. Added check valves in correct locations on recirculation line and cold inlet. Tested thoroughly and ensured customer was receiving proper hot water recirculation.

Installed two client supplied pressure assist toilets in the upstairs and downstairs men’s room. The downstairs toilet flange needed to be replaced. Both toilets are functioning properly at this time. Completed minor repair on both Delta single handle lavatory fixtures in the men’s room downstairs. Repair included new seats and springs for each. Both are working properly at this time. I was unable to replace the thermal expansion tank due to the CPVC ball valve not turning.

Upon arrival and approval, we began the previously discussed work of installing a new shower cartridge in order to eliminate the cross connection. The manufacturer misidentified the cartridge and we purchased the wrong cartridge. We were not able to replace the cartridge. I had called the manufacturer and they did not answer and put me on a callback list. While I was waiting on the callback, I went ahead and emailed them the picture 30 minutes later they called me and wanted me re-email the picture to them. This is when they miss identify the cartridge and we ordered the wrong cartridge. This separate email that I sent was responded to a day or two after ordering the incorrect cartridge. The email had a link to the correct cartridge. We are sending the correct cartridge information to the customer as well as the manufacturers phone number so they can call and order this cartridge. This is the most cost-effective way for them to obtain the cartridge. The shower with the failed shower

Replaced defective outlet and as a courtesy I checked bath fan that TE installed, Bath fan is working, the vent is clear of any obstruction and installation is correct.

We installeda new furnace for the main floor

Located leak coming from pinhole on existing thermal expansion tank. Expansion tank was undersized, aged, and not properly secured. Replaced with 4 gallon expansion tank and secured to the structure via a bracket. Tested for leaks. Advised homeowner of higher than recommended pressure on the system. Water pressure is at 75 psi. Recommend replacing the PRV.

Lighting

Starter replacement on Generac 22kw standby generator

Jim called us to the home today because he had some issues with the lighting in his kitchen. During his process in the remodel, they removed a cabinet, exposing wire. We replaced all old can lights in the living room room with LED wafers. He also replaced the old globe lights with LED wafers. As well as installed a new wafer above kitchen sink. We will be returning next week to replace federal pacific panel.

We will install 3 recessed cans in the living room, install an outlet for a bidet in the master bath, and replace 2 chandeliers

Furnace

Upon arrival, I was pointed to the kitchen sink where there was a leak on the copper inch and a half drain. The drain had corroded and cracked on the bottom of the pipe. After presenting options, we opened up the back of the cabinet and then the drywall in order to gain access to the sink, drain arm. We removed the copper drain line and replaced it with PVC as well as replacing the P-trap. Tested everything for leaks and proper function no further issues at this time.

Replaced burned GFI

2 furnace inspections. Main floor was found to have cracked primary heat exchanger and secondary is leaking water. Advised customer informed them it is not safe to operate the heat on main floor and customer stated they would contact there home warranty company for repairs. Upstairs unit is 2008 Amana furnace. Equipment at end of life expectancy and has rusty burner compartment. Heat exchanger showing signs of age but no cracks located during today’s inspection. Hot surface ignitor is worn, blower is dirty, system has minimal flood protection, run capacitor is weak, and drain should be cleaned. Quoted repairs. Customer wanted me to change capacitor today. Changed and tested capacitor. Blower runs as designed. Quoted other repairs along with maintenance plan. Did not get to explain all suggested repairs today as customer had appointment he needed to leave for. Emailed everything to customer.

Performed two system home care, cleared all drain lines and insured proper drain functions. Inspected both systems and heating and cooling modes at this time they’re operating properly.

Replace Roman tub faucet in master bathroom

Customers upstairs guest bathroom has slow drainage also the pop-up stopper didn’t have to hold water when trying to take a bath, so we ran our tub down the drain to remove all hair and buildup in the drain line to improve drainage, also we went to Home Depot to buy another pop up stop to replace the old one with the new one. Also add in the gasket that was missing. we tested the pop-up was holding all the water once we stopped up the drain and once we unplugged it all the water drain perfectly with no leaks and no backups

Replaced delta shower cartridge as a warranty repair. Previous technician had worked on the valve, but didn’t replace or repair the cartridge. Water pressure was at 35PSI. I replaced the PRV and set the water pressure to 65psi.

Upon arrival, I was shown a few issues. The first being a pinhole leak inside of the ceiling in the kitchen area. Also, the master bathroom lavatory was leaking out of the spout. And the upstairs hallway bathroom lavatory was leaking out of the handles when turned on. In the same bathroom, the water closet fill valve had failed After discussing options with the customer and upon approval, we repaired the pinhole leak replacing large sections of pipe on the hot and cold side inside of the ceiling. While replacing this piping, I discovered a leaking 90 on the vertical before it goes horizontal I had to cut a traditional drywall and discovered that the cold water copper pipe looked pretty bad. After discussing this with the customer, we are leaving an estimate to replace the hot and cold vertical going from the ceiling in the first floor all the way down into the unfinished basement area. We replaced the hot and cold cartridges in the upstairs hallway, bathroom, lavatory, as well as reb

Customer had us out for no hot water. After checking the water heater and hearing from the customer, the pilot light was out due to the hvac companies recent work. We also noticed the prv and thermal expansion tank were failed. We recommended replacing them today. Customer agreed. We replaced the thermal expansion tank, prv, and main shutoff valve. Restored water and tested all work. Set new pressure to 60 psi and pumped new expansion tank to 70 psi. No issues or leaks. Re lit pilot as courtesy.
