Ran a dedicated circuit for a treadmill

Today we were called out because the homeowner had lights in his shop that would not turn on. After he tried replacing bulbs, the light still did not work. After performing a troubleshoot, I noticed a lot of the outlets in the shop had corrosion on them. The main issue for the lights not working was a tripped GFI in the utility room. The Wi-Fi rack was also connected, but had a back up battery. Thank you for choosing TE certified!

I was called out to Christopher‘s house for a Homecare inspection. Christopher and his family have been living here for about a year so we performed a thorough evaluation. During the evaluation we discovered the system is from 2003 making it well past normal life expectancy, there isn’t any flood protection on the system, the ductwork is poorly designed/undersized, there are multiple components that failed their tests, the system doesn’t have an external filter rack which is causing the filter to not properly protect the system, the drain line is poorly designed, and most importantly going into winter the heat exchanger is in very poor condition with a significant amount of weak points and layers of metal peeling off. Due to the condition of the heat exchanger, poor/outdated installation design, and many failing components replacement is a viable option to avoid safety and functionality issues.

We performed an electrical home inspection and left estimates for repairs

Provide labor and materials to install new bathroom exhaust fan from scratch. Includes: - Assembly and installation of new customer-supplied exhaust fan - Running a new 14-3 switchleg for the fan and fan light - Expanding the existing switch box to accommodate for new switches - Installing new ducting and venting (which will require an extension ladder on the exterior wall) - Replacing the existing 15amp breaker with a 15amp GFCI/AFCI dual-function breaker. Dual function breaker, new exhaust fan, and all (3) new switches have been tested and verified for proper functionality.

Today we came out and installed two switches from in the mudroom to the garage, it’s sold two switches from the outdoor lights in the basement to the basement switch box. We also installed a Litron Casseta dimmer for the back floodlight. As a courtesy we replace the floodlight bulbs

Today we came out because the homeowner had an issue with their lights flickering/not working. After performing a troubleshoot, we found it was a bad switch. The previous homeowner left a black dimmer switch and that is what we replaced the old switch with. After we installed the new switch, we tested everything and everything was on and working. Troubleshoot why the breaker for the garage started tripping. Install new gfci outlets in the garage and a new circuit breaker. Whole house surge protector for the breaker panel.

Today we were called out because the homeowner had some recessed lights installed after they were installed the bedroom circuit stopped working. As performing my troubleshoot, I found the bedroom circuit was on a different circuit than the living room lights. That breaker would not stop tripping due to a dead short. I traced a short all the way back to an extension cord outside hooked up to a leaf blower. After I unplugged that the circuit worked as intended. The customer is going to have her uncle install the open spices in a junction box in the attic.

I reinstalled a ceiling fan that had been removed for painting.

For this job, the customer had a couple of issues she needed addressed. The garbage disposal in the kitchen had failed, causing the left side of the sink to back up. The counters in the master bathroom had been replaced and she needed the new faucets put back. We also noticed low water pressure in the home and the customer stated she had noticed it too. So for today the customer opted to go with option 2 to replace the disposal, install both faucets and upgrade the pressure regulator in the home to fix the low incoming water pressure. Customers gas was shut off by the gas company based off of the customer statement. They had a leak in the home and the gas company was unable to pinpoint it. The customer stated that it was closest to the basement stove. Customer agreed to our quote to do a gas pressure test on the entire system. We started by disassembling the right hand side at the meter and installing temporarily a shut off valve within, installed a gauge directly after that, we turned off all shut off valves to every fixture in the home and then pressurized the system to 15 psi and allowed it to sit for at least 15 minutes with no leaks . While the system was pressurized, we checked every open and exposed joint and sprayed with soapy bubbles to find no leak after 15 minutes we went back to the gauge, and it was at the exact same reading at this point we can conclude that this is a fixture issue, probably with the stove and have recommended that the customer keep the gas off to that stove. We checked all flex lines

Customer called us out for a clogged toilet. The toilet had something stuck inside that went farther down than the customer could reach. Customer does have grey poly but does not want a repipe at this time. I gave the customer multiple options and they chose to have the toilet removed and the item retrieved. I pulled the toilet and ran an auger up the bottom of the toilet pushing out an apple toy. I then reset the toilet and cleaned throughly. Tested for function and leaks and everything looked good.

Replaced all existing smoke alarms in home. Replaced switch for basement vanity and installed light fixture between basement doors.

We were called out due to a leak from uponor pex piping. The customer is in the process of going through the warranty process with uponor. We opened Sheetrock, found the leak and performed a 4’ spot repair and connected to previous repaired sections of piping on both sides.

Replace two wide spread faucets that are supplied by the customer and installed in the primary bathroom vanities

Overloaded furnace circuit was triple tapped. Furnace master dining room all connected tripping breaker. Relocated circuit from over loaded panel to sub panel. Protected circuits with dual arc and ground fault breakers.

Tech was out due to water in drain pan. Tech found the following. No heat strips in air handler , this needs 5 kw heat strips . This is a secondary heat for when outdoor temperatures are to cold for heat pump to run. Would need to replace whip at disconnect for proper wire gauge. # 8 , Drain line is clogged. No flood protection on drain line or in emergency drain pan. Need to vacuum out water in drain pan. Spoke with customer about repairs that are needing to be done. The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today.

Installed all new electrical outlets and switches in the home and completed a panel restoration on the main electrical panel with new safety breakers for almost every circuit to protect both the home and users.
