Came in for a no cool call. Mini split 3y/o When testing outdoor system found that shredder valve was loose on suctions line, causing refrigerant to completely leak out of the system. Let costumer know about this issues and presented some options. Costumer move forward with repairs. Proceed to thigh shredder valve and leak tested too to make sure it wasn’t leaking my more and added the refrigerant back to factory charge. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!

Client has us out today because earlier when the upstairs hallway bathrooms faucet was running the tenant heard a loud bang and water began to flow from under the cabinet. The water is turned off to the home as of now, during my inspection I found that the supply lines that run up to the sink blew off completely from the plastic tee, both the hot and cold sides. The water ran down from the top story all the way to the basement and has the wood floors buckling, due to the buckling we could not access the water heater as the storage closet door won’t open due to the water damaged floors. We cannot check pressure as the storage closet door won’t open and the hose bibs are off. I presented options and today we just went with the replacement of the upstairs hallway bathrooms wide spread faucet. All work is done and water is back on with no leaks. Client stated they have contacted home owners insurance regarding the water damage left from the original faucet.

Installed customer supplied tank to bowl kit on a Kohler toilet.

Repaired damaged drainage stack and re-routed gas line

Looked at system making loud noise from vents. Found a 5 ton system is not ducted correctly and required 2000 CFM of ductwork. This unit currently has 1200 CFM of return and need to add 16” duct in order to relieve air. Also the upstairs level zone only is supplied by a single 12” duct and we need to bleed the other 3 ducts in order to have some air relieved while only one zone is running. The unit is also missing a bypass duct that would need to be 14” smart bypass along with bleeding the zones 25% to account for the airflow. Customer wants to bleed the zones at 25% for now and see if that will help the noise.

Replaced bad GFCI

Delete ballast and install led lights

Leak from base of toilet. Pulled toilet to find multiple cracks/splits in flange. Cut out and replaced flange. Reset toilet. Checked water heater and found leak stains. Replaced water heater with Rheem 50gal Electric Water Heater.

Performed inspection on one system. Checked all electrical and amperage. Changed customer provided filter. 20 x 20 x 1. No in-line safety or wet switch. Bad pitch on drain line. Drain line not glued ran in front of filter. Bad arm flex condition. Blower wheel clean. Evaporator coil has bacteria growth and is dirty. Found corroded batteries at main floor thermostat. Pitted contactor at condenser. As well as ripped arm flex. Check both heating and cooling. All systems operating. When removing gauges noticed leak seal mixed with refrigerant. Unit may have possible refrigerant leak. System 2011 heat pump 2012 air handler. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Master p-trap replacement

The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Removed and installed capacitor at condenser for main floor system. Cycled and both outdoor fan motor and compressor are operating. Removed and installed condenser fan motor and capacitor for second floor system. Cycled system on and both outdoor fan motor and compressor are operating as should. Condenser fan motor no longer over amps.
