Service visit on Generac 24Kw standby generator

For this job, we worked on bypassing the ballast on 4 light fixtures. We installed LED T8 lamps.

Our client reached out to us in reference to having a new refrigerator install and water valve was inoperable. A quote was provided for the valve to replace in the item was replaced. It will test for leaks and no leaks were found. The house water system was purged of air after water was turned back onto home. I am for homeowner of a couple of minor plumbing issues that I noticed after the purchasing of this home and recommend these items to be replaced. Our client is very satisfied.

Capped of 14/2 wire

Performed routine maintenance on 9 y/o Goodman furnace matched with 14 y/o Goodman AC that operates for whole house. Checked amp draws. Cleaned flame sensor. Cleared pressure switch tubing. Safeties are good. Replaced 16x25x1 filter. Drain line clear. Pressure levels were normal. Condenser electrical components are good. System is currently working.

Rebuild upstairs toilet in the kids room

Main floor system had water issues due to defective condensate drain. I also noticed single wall flue pipe, no form of water safeties, blower motor is leaking oil, and blower wheel is dirty. Replaced flue pipe for two furnaces and a water heater, added wet switch, added ss1 to condensate drain, replaced condensate pump (added a pan and float switch to pump). Signed up customer for the maintenance plan.

No cool call for main. Found the system partially freezing. The txv is losing its charge and not metering correctly. Txv replacement has been ordered and scheduled for Monday. Homeowner signed up for 2 system homecare.

Run cat6 for new camera system

Replaced washing machine box.

Installed sprayer on the upstairs hall bath toilet used new supply line to connect to stop valve Recommend replacement of the stop valve

Replace smoke/carbon detector

Today we replaced the PRV in the basement and set the pressure down from 120 to 65

Could not find leak anywhere present in home. Customer suspects it’s a sprinkler system continuously turning on and increasing water bill. Advised customer about pressure issue, and stream labs automatic Wi-Fi shut off valve.

Reroute wires for lights added outlets and added a switch outlet combo

Installed advanced Uv light/ air purifier for both systems. Installed in line float switches for both systems. Installed capacitor and contactor for upstairs system. Made sure both drain line were clean and strapped the upstairs to give a proper slope for system to drain. Both systems back up and cooling at this time. Upstairs evaporator coil is starting to show signs of rusting but no signs of any leaks. Upstairs filter is (18x20x1) Downstairs system is (15x20x1)

Installing new outlets

Upon arrival, customer notified me that he was receiving the incorrect reading on his voltage tester. We will be conducting an electrical inspection of the guest bathroom on the backside of the home receptacle. This feeds power to the outdoor outlet on the screened porch and the outdoor outlet on the deck. We will be determining what caused the fault and restoring power to all these locations. Customer has 47 y/o York system that operates for whole house. System is not cooling due to failed compressor. Condenser coils have large holes in them. Outdoor unit violently shakes. Rusted evaporator coils. Rusted burners. Bad heat exchanger. No water protection. Bad blower motor. Dirty blower wheel. Bad condensate drain pump. Rusted flue venting. Ductwork in poor condition. Informed customer of all findings. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

For this job I returned to finish the rest of last weeks work

Customer has 7 y/o 2-zone Carrier heat pump system that operates for whole house. Water was in pan due to clogged drain line. Removed water from pan and system. Cut open drain line to remove clog and repaired drain line for proper pitch and after removal. Added PVC tee w/cap for cleaning port. Customer has filter size of 17x25x1, which we do not carry, however, a 20x25x1 was modified to fit until proper filter size is purchased. Dampers are operational. Pressure levels were normal. Condenser electrical components are fair. System is currently working.

Removed single wall flue pipe and replaced it with double wall on both units. Cleaned both blower wheels and both condenser coils. Installed a wet switch and ss2 safety switch on both units. Insulated suction line on unit. Tested both units in heat, no carbon monoxide detected. Ensured both system are on and cooling.

Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. Found leak in evaporator coil on capillary line on top of txv valve. Condenser coil is severely plugged and needs cleaning and Schrader valve needs to be replaced due to leak as well. See attached video and pictures of leak in coil.
