Customer had a sink upstairs that was not draining due to a filter pop-up assembly. I took apart the drain and cleaned out the drain and did remove some gunk and hair after getting the pop-up out of the drain I noticed that it was broken at the bottom. Customer had a black finish pop-up Kohler assembly so I recommended that we could rebuild the drain or he can order the Kohler pop-up assembly or get a pop-up that matches the finish of the color and then when it’s here we can come back and install it. Customer didn’t want a silver finish and ours was a little bit too small for his drain so he will order the proper pop-up to match the finish of the bathroom.

Troubleshoot electrical issue. ISSUE: fan not working LOCATION: bedroom FINDINGS:I tested voltage at the switch and the fan and was reading proper 120 volts. I bypassed the fan remote to confirm the fan was still operational, and it was. I found a battery in the remote that was dead RESOLUTION: informed customer to replace battery, and left an estimate to replace receiver and remote if the battery doesn’t resolve the issue

Removed ceiling fan remote and rewired

Today I came out due to main level system not cooling. Main level system is a Lennox furnace located in finished basement servicing main level. Upon arrival thermostat was set to 72, but reading 76. I found the capacitor was bad as it’s rated for 45/5 MFD +/-5% and its actual reading was 0/0. I also found both main level and upstairs condenser units have debris built up on coils. All 3 blower wheels for the indoor units have dust and debris built up on fan blades. The upstairs and main level drain lines don’t have float switches on them. Upstairs drain line is improperly slopped has it runs flat along floor before going down wall and out of house. After going over all findings and options, customer has agreed to move forward with option B. I’ve already collected payment for replacing capacitor, but due today’s weather, I will return on Thursday to complete the rest.

For this job, the customer stated they had low water pressure all throughout the home. After checking the pressure I found the pressure regulator had failed. I replaced the section in the garage to fix pressure drop issue. Once complete I tested my work, and cleaned up. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.

Today we replaced two of the customers fill valves in the upstairs master bathrooms toilet and the main levels half baths toilet. We also replaced the expansion tank on the water heater and strapped it to the wall for support along with replacing the pressure reducing valve because of the pressure exceeding 80 psi. We also pulled the downstairs toilet and installed a new wax ring and closet bolts on the toilet and shimmed the toilet and caulked it.

Installed new customer supplied toilet and disposed of old toilet.

Arrived on site to rough in some existing plumbing for the customer , so they could get ready to have cabinets installed for their bar-top/sink. There was exiting plumbing that was capped off , so we had to re stub the waterlines out from the wall , as well as re- install the drain in the wall. We also provided the quote to come back and re install the finish work , once cabinets have been installed .

Main Level - Not Cooling 9 year old Lennox system located in basement. System not cooking due to a failed dual starter in the outdoor unit. Replaced dual starter and tested system. No cool main floor. Found 2014 Lennox 3.5 ton ac and furnace. Upon visual inspection found furnace had been shut off likely by contractors remodeling basement. Flipped switch and system turned on and began running. System producing cold air and all visually seemed operational. Advised homeowner that we did not have to go further and there would not be a charge but if she would like the equipment inspected a service call would have to be performed. Customer agreed to have service call performed and system inspected. Upon inspection found the compressor has a high in rush amp draw, ac is dirty and contactor is burnt. Upon moving inside and looking over indoor equipment found drain line has slight uphill pitch to it, the system lacks adequate flood protection, the blower wheel is dirty and the run capacitor on the blower motor is weak. Replace old smoke/carbon detection devices

Upstairs system was not working the other day when homeowners went out and came back later it was working. Homeowner noticed filter needed to be changed and changed it 16x25x4 Ever since then it has been working but they still wanted it to be checked out Upon visual inspection I did notice that filter was very bad and very well could have caused the system to freeze over and trip the secondary drain safety switch and after a couple of hours it evaporates and starts working again. Informed homeowner about some options and he decided to sign up for our Homecare Membership for 2 systems and I went ahead and did the maintenance on this upstairs system so we flushed the drain line with solution and pumped it which it was clogged as well and checked refrigerant and coils Outdoor coil is very dirty and needs to be cleaned which homeowner is going to do on his own I explained to homeowner sooner the better as the high side pressure was a little high due to this coil being dirty. Customer was experiencing a mainline blockage in gym area affecting the bathroom group. Pulled toilet and ran sewer machine and successfully cleared blockage.

HVAC leak varsity locker room. Found 2016 Lennox 5 ton Rtu. Upon inspection found system to have clogged drain line causing pan to overflow into ducting and through ceiling. Found system to be low on r410a as well also attributing to system leaking as it was freezing up when operating. Performed infrared leak search and leak search with bubbles not locating any definitive leaks at this time. Customer agreed to get a quote for New system and Will is quoting it now. Quote performing nitrogen leak leak search on equipment as well that is to be performed next Tuesday weather permitting. System also has bitty condenser coil, dirty blower wheel and high amp draw on compressor. Return visit hs been scheduled for Tuesday to complete nitrogen leak search. Added 3lbs r410a to help with cooling until leak search can be performed.

This option is to troubleshoot a tripping arc fault breaker that controls the laundry room, the garage, the security lights, and the mudroom After performing the troubleshoot, I found that all the lights on the circuit were perfectly fine, but when I connected the floodlight neutral in with the other neutrals, after connecting the two floodlight switch legs to the switch, it would make the neutral arc. The issue likely lies somewhere in one of the newly installed security light boxesthat another company was out here to install. It could potentially be the way the wiring was set up, or it could be the way the fixtures were wired in. I did not pull the fixture down to look in all the boxes at the four or five locations, because the homeowner talked to the owner of the company that installed the lights and is going to have him come out and take a look at the issue to see if it was them. Customer called us out for a leak in the Sloan of the left bathroom. On arrival I tested it and saw the leak was coming from the digital flush control. Customer requested to have the sensor replaced with a handle flush. I got the supplies and removed the old flushometer and replaced it with a new one that has a handle control. Toilet moved a bit and wasn’t caulked so I caulked it to the floor. Cleaned up and tested throughly.

Arrived on site and customer had a failing condensation pump and discharge line . We replaced the pump and ran a new condensation line out the side wall of the house . Once pump and line were ran, we tested the pump to ensure proper functioning.

Replaced existing disposal with 1/2hp disposal supplied by TE

We performed a trouble shoot on a ceiling fan in the master bedroom. Upon examination we found that could’ve been a loose connection in the fan. We informed the customer that since it’s working now and is an intermittent issue that if this continues to happen we will need to replace the wall controller.

On today’s visit I met with the homeowner. The homeowner expressed an issue with a running toilet that was leaking. The homeowner also had two slow draining sinks. I then wrote up some options to perform work. I received approval and grabbed materials to begin. I replaced the fill valve and the supply line to the running toilet and checked for leaks as well. I cleaned the p traps for both the slow sinks and the pop up assembly. The sinks are both draining as they should. I did a super clean up and the homeowner is happy and satisfied at this time. Perform draining clearing on sink drain and trap. Drain clear trap only. Does not include repairs, branch or main line clearing. No warranty on drain clearing. Minor repair to existing toilet. Includes small repair or minor part. Test and clean up work area. No warranty on minor repairs.

The scope of today’s work included: replacement of failed toilet flange, new flange was glued and anchored to the concrete slab, installation of TE supplied toilet and toilet supply line, and caulking around the base of the new toilet. The toilet was filled and checked for leaks at the tank to bowl connection, it was then flushed several times to confirm the wax seal was working properly.

Call for water leaking from a drain line on a 2018 Lennox 3 ton AC and furnace. We found that there was a small pin hole in the clear tubing that was also collapsed in many areas. We replaced the condensate pump and clear tubing drain line. Tested the condensate pump with 2 gallons of water, put the new pump inside the drain pan. Check pressures and did a full evaluation of the system. Found the ac to be dirty, contactor to be pitted and dual capacitor to be weak. Customer is aware he has minimum flood Protection as well. Quoted all repairs. Customer awaiting any further repairs at this time.

Blower motor Replacement. Tested system. System is cooling well with no issues. As I was installing the blower motor, I saw that both systems upstairs like any type of indoor air quality device to kill odors, allergens, and to protect the system and home from biological growth. The APCO-X is installed inside the ductwork and uses UV light with activated carbon cells to help reduce airborne odors, bacteria, viruses, mold spores, and other contaminants as air passes through the system. It also helps keep the indoor coil and blower area cleaner over time, which is important because right now this system already has a heavy buildup of dust and debris.

The scope of today’s work included: installation of a new Streamlabs water stop and leak detection device, and a new thermal expansion tank. The tank was strapped, the Streamlabs device was installed and tested per manufacturer’s instructions using the app on clients device/phone with the control indicating that it is working properly. All new fittings were pressurized and tested for leaks with no issues.

No cool call on a 2019 Trane 2 ton heat pump and air handler with zoning. We found the heat pump to be locked out we had to preform a reset of power to clear. Once system started back up we check the refrigeration and found it to be low. Preform a leak search and found the leak to be in the back right of the evaporator coil. We inform the customer of the leak and she decided to have one of our project manager come out and quote the system to be replaced and installed tomorrow because she is having hardwood floors put in this week. Also found ac is dirty, compressor compromised due to low refrigerant operation. System is slightly short on air flow, system has minimal flood protection as well. Quoted repairs to system but Hayden is already here to quote equipment. System is not designed to be zoned as it is single stage equipment.
