Job Locations and Reviews
Completed system maintenance verified and changed filters cleared drain lines with 2 gallons of cleaner each. Checked all safety and components while maintaining the system take notice the following. Condenser is needing a chemical cleaning. Capacitor is failing and need to be replaced. Condenser is needing pea gravel around system and Uv Light needs to be added to indoor evaporator coil. Customer went with option 1. At this time system is operating properly.
Upon arrival, we met with the owner. They recently purchased the home and just found the basement flooding with sewage. There is an exposed backwater valve and the cap was off, allowing sewage to escape. We checked the foundation cleanout and found standing water. There is another cleanout in the middle of the yard that was dry. From the foundation cleanout, we snaked the line several times, hitting the blockage until it cleared. We ran water to test and confirmed the line is open and flowing. I also found the BWV cap and reset it. We have a supervisor scheduled tomorrow to further assess the plumbing and I also referred the owner to a remediation company. Use large drain machine to clear line from the exterior accessible cleanout, and locate source of drain issue with sewer camera. Includes drain machine and inspection camera (no additional fee). Does not include digging, replacing lines, or repairs. Cleared lines may clog again without a permanent repair.
Performed camera inspection from front clean out and went just beyond tap tie in. Found some concerns on city side and customer will follow up if they purchase the home.
Service call 2 zone system. I had to reset the outdoor control on heat pump. The board was off on high pressure lockout. Could not replicate any kind of problem to cause issue. The refrigerant tested good in heating and air . Tested drain and there was no issues. The condensate pump is outside of auxiliary pan and there is only one flood protection device. The heat pump is a 2 ton 2017Lennox single speed zone system .
Water service leak in the front yard. The community has one water meter on the 6” main located in a vault. We were unable to locate the curb stop for the service line so we had to dig with the water actively leaking. I was able to find the leak and trace the pipe back to the curb stop by hand. We turned the stop off, cleared the water from the hole, and repaired the leak. The ground is extremely saturated in the front yard and the vault has about a foot of standing water. We filled the hole and smoothed the dirt out as we could. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
For this job, we replaced a dimmer, a three way switch, three ceiling fans, two light fixtures, and four lights in closets with wafers.
Ran wires and junction boxes for light fixture and smoke detector. Will return once rest of drywall is up.
I replaced a customer provided bath fan and ducted it out of the side of the home. I replaced the breaker with a GFI breaker because of the new GFI requirement in the fan over the shower.
Added circuit and outlets
Accurate assessment and onsite repair.
Came out to customer home because thermostat was not getting power. I went downstairs to the indoor furnace system. I came across wire coming from transformer that gives 24 V to the board came loose. I wired it back together and tested equipment. System is cooling now with no issues. I also notified customer that tomorrow. I will send an email on an estimate of a new wiring harness just in case this happens again. No other issues are here. Customer is happy.
Tech was out for loud noise on upstairs condenser found a screw that had wiggle itself out. Tightened all screws on condenser. Let customer know due to the plastic around the fan condenser motor. If screw pops back out we would need to remove the plastic dome that way the fan motor blades does not continuously hit it. Check system and found the following. No flood safety switches on system. Blower wheel is needing to be cleaned. Spoke with customer about UV light EAC filter.
Nate, the electrician assigned to our job, was amazing! He is well trained, extremely hard working and thorough and very polite! He gave great explanations and patiently answered all of our questions. We will definitely use him again!

Electrical service upgrade
For this job, I worked on replacing pressure regulator whole home shut off and spigot shut off. Went ahead tested and checked for leaks. Psi is set to 55psi.
System is operating at this time, and the HomeCare HVAC inspection was completed. During today’s visit, we found that the system does not have any indoor air quality products in place to help with equipment cleanliness, system longevity, or overall indoor air quality. I also noted rust beginning to form on the indoor coil capillary tubing. The air filter was heavily saturated even though it was only about eight days old. I replaced it with a new 16x25x1 filter. Since the home is still in the move-in phase, I recommend checking the filter again in about a week. After things settle down, the filter should be checked about every 90 days, or sooner if needed based on dust and household conditions. Completed work during today’s visit included: • Installed two forms of flood protection, with one device helping protect the HVAC system and the other helping protect the home from water damage • Replaced the warped and unsecured drain line • Dismantled the outdoor unit and cleaned the cond
Costumer had a really loud vibration noise coming from the bathroom sink, taking a closer look to it realized that was a faulty shut off valve on the hot side, giving an issue due to age, replaced hot and cold and tested for leaks, no issues. For this job we went ahead and replace waterline, pressure regulator, and whole house shut off. Tested water line and checked for leaks. Cleaned work area.
NO cool, due to a bad single capacitor. Replaced capacitor and system works. System is cooling and heating at this time, but, due to the age and conditions, it will be working harder to keep the temperature low in the summer, specially on hotter days. Highly recommend to upgrade, at least the upstairs system, and bring comfort, savings and efficiency back to the house.
Disposal
Located a leak on the water service line. Meter was showing 0.52gpm. The pipe was located in a sleeve. We were able to find both end of the sleeve. We pulled out and replaced the failed section of pipe. We tested the line after connecting it and the meter then showed 0.00gpm. We covered all of our holes and spread the mulch back over the area. For this job, I went ahead and worked on capping off a yard hydrant and replacing a dehumidifier saddle valve with a new 1/4 angle stop. Went ahead checked work and cleaned up area
Completed 2 system maintenance changed filters checked all safety and components. Cleared both drain line. While clearing the drain line for upstairs tech was unable to get drain line unclogged. Tech has used mighty pump and used a vacuum to be able to pull all debris out. Tech is unable to to do so due to There is a lot of build up in the drain line causing water not to drain out. There are no safety switch on upstairs and main level system. Spoke with customer about repairs to fix issues at hand. Went over options. Customer went with option 1 for up stairs. Tech installed new condensate pump and new vinyl tubing. Tested pump ( pasted )
Return visit to replace 45/5 mfd capacitor, replaced capacitor, tested system operation, flushed drain line, all units and electrical components working properly at this time.

The TE Techs are very well trained knowledgeable. Prior to TE Certified I had 6 service calls for the same issue days apart via home warranty with 2 different companies. Neither company could accurately diagnose the problem. In one visit the tech accurately diagnose the problem, showed photo evidence of the problem and provide options. The tech explained all the options in detail. He provided me with enough information to make an informed decision. The estimated repair cost was market average. They honor returning clients with a discount.
