Job Locations and Reviews
I use TE Certified on a regular basis because of their excellent services and extremely knowledgeable technicians. Cameron was no exception! He worked really hard to fix my issue and went the extra mile.
Called out for Disposal not working and issues with multiple toilets. Fill valve was replaced on one toilet in master bathroom. Disposal was reset and is working properly. And the toilet in the upstairs hall bathroom was pulled reset and has a new flapper and new tank to bowl bolts installed. All toilets are working properly. Customer is aware that one or multiple toilets may need to be replaced soon. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
I replaced a light fixture in the breakfast area with a flush mount light and in the laundry room with a 6” recessed can light.
Installed new evaporator coil , pressure tested system passed , vacuum system. Passed , cleaned outdoor condenser , need to return to install new Uv bulb under warranty.
Tech was out for system no cooling. Found TXV failed along with evaporated coil mildly restricted. Outdoor units seem to be cleaned. Chemically as well as safety switch needs to be added to the drain lines. Spoke with customer about repairs. Customer went with Band-Aid option. One with outdoor cleaning tech will return tomorrow to make repairs.
Homeowner reported a sweet odor in the main floor half bathroom. After inspection, no visible evidence of a sewer leak was found. Discussed the option of a smoke test if the odor persists. Recommended pulling and resetting the toilet as the first step, and the homeowner approved. Toilet was pulled, reset with a new seal, and tested. No leaks were found. Homeowner will monitor the odor and follow up if needed.
No Cool - 1993 Goodman Found bad capacitor and contactor in poor shape. Performed a complete inspection and found the furnace also has a cracked heat exchanger. Customer agreed to have a project manager out to give quotes, but also the air to work until then. I installed the capacitor and contactor and tested the system. The refrigerant pressures show the system has a restriction in the refrigerant system. There was only a 10* delta between return and supply air. The system is very inefficient and struggling to cool. The ductwork also needs attention. It is very short on duct work for the size of the system.
Install a customer supplied Tesla charger in the garage fed out of the meter main on back exterior.
For this job, we installed two outlets behind two different TVs.
Replaced tank to bowl seals and bolts, fill valve, flapper, and supply line. Tested for leaks and function, all good. Tank lid was broken on the front upon arrival. No warranty on toilet repairs. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified.
System had water coming back into it and on the floor from condensation line Checked drain line and it was clogged Filter was very dirty as well which is a washable With customer approval I added a clean out in the drain line and unclogged it with solution and the pump Added endure to the drain line and added pan treat tabs to the evaporator pan System is now working normal and draining properly There are some concerns with the system which were added to the estimate for operations manager to review System is 15yrs old and needs some maintenance to help longevity of it Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
For this job I arrived to a no cool. Came across clogged drain line. After discussion with homeowner and manager, priced dropped down for 150 for today. Cut drain line right before it went down the wall and unclogged the drain line from there. Poured 2 gallons of water and vinegar down drain line. System is now operating. Thank you for choosing TE Certified. If you were happy with today’s service leave a review and share your experience with my service!
Excellent service
Customer called us to change out some outlets. We used customer supplied outlets. We provided 2 blank covers for low volt per customer request. Also removed the 2 existing low volt covers and replaced.
Upon arrival spoke with customer about a water mark on the ceiling under where a previous tech made a repair. Removed access panel to Roman tub to investigate. Did not observe any water coming from the Roman tub. Water spot is about two feet away on the same drywall seam. I believe this is just residual water that made its way to this area from the previous repair. While on site the customer had a leak from her garbage disposal. Gave options. Replaced her 1/2 hp disposal with a new 3/4 hp disposal. Replaced mounting basket, connected electrical, connect dishwasher drain tub and installed new unit. Tested throughly.
Today we come out and replaced 2 customer supplied lights and the surge protector.
Replaced a section of copper piping with a pinhole. Tested for leaks and function. No issues.
Customer had a leaking shower that was leaking in the ceiling below. After my inspection I found that the shower drain was loose and all the putty washed away. With customer approval I real the shower drain issue is resolved thanks for choosing TE Certified.
Today we installed 5 new recessed lights, replaced one recessed gimbal light, replaced 2 customer supplied dimmers, 2 3-way switches, and changed a standard breaker to a dual function circuit breaker.
Initial observations of UL system revealed the 14” return duct is collapsed. There is also not enough return air even with the proper airflow of the 14”. Return air CFM calculation is 860 which is just over 2 tons of airflow. This system is a 3 ton which requires 1200 CFM of airflow. Client approved duct repair of 14” return duct and it is now pulling the proper airflow this duct is designed for. The system still requires duct modifications or the longer it runs the inevitable damage to the blower motor or compressor will occur. Temperature/pressure correlation after duct repair is still at 30 degrees of superheat which may be a concern for a failing TXV in the evaporator coil. This valve is what meters the refrigerant through the evaporator coil. This will require checking post duct modifications because I can not be 100% sure the TXV is failing until there is adequate return airflow through the system. If the valve has failed, I recommend contacting Reliable to inquire if they wi
Upon arrival there was a very small amount of water in the ML system drain pan. 16x25x1 filter is dirty and will need to be replaced soon. Homecare maintenance is scheduled soon. I could hear water dripping inside the unit. Airflow temperature differential is only 8 degrees and should be between 18 and 24 degrees. Temperature/pressure correlation of refrigerant charge revealed the system is very low in refrigerant due to a leak. The evaporator coil is freezing and this is the source of the leak in the attic. This condition puts excessive stress on the integrity of the coil and the compressor causing damage. I observed oil outside at the suction valve line confirming a leak here. Further leak test confirmed a leak at the evaporator coil as well. Due to age, condition and costly repair, I recommend replacement of system.
Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable.
No Cool- 1999 Rheem System - Upstairs Found that the upstairs system has lost most of its refrigerant. The inspection revealed that the indoor coil has multiple refrigerant leaks that have developed due to the age of the equipment. There is signs that the system has been freezing up due to the lack of refrigerant. Remnants of water was in the furnace and drain pan. There is also large amounts of biological growth inside the supply plenum. The blower wheel has lots of dirt that has built up over time and is affecting the performance. Due to age of the system, I inspected the heat exchanger as well. The heat exchanger has signs that it will probably fail soon and should be monitored regularly for safety concerns. Had a conversation with the customer about my findings and the customer agreed to have a project manager come out today and give them estimates on replacement. For reliability, this will be the best option long term.
Replaced can light trim due to little bit of water damage and old age the
Arrived on site to troubleshoot the upstairs Rheem AC that sent an alert for poor cooling condition over the weekend. Upon arrival the upstairs was 65 degrees and maintaining temperature. Saturday was in the low 90s with elevated humidity 85-90%. 65 is a steep goal on a day in the 90s. We found no issues with the system cooling and collected a 20 degree temp split, no mechanical faults or concerns at all. The filter was stained from candle soot and the outdoor condenser coil was severely impacted with debris from its elevated run times. We cleaned the outdoor coil to take some stress off of the system in cooling and to help with performance. Payment was collected via credit card. Call complete
Replaced light in master bathroom ceiling, and two kitchen lights. Replaced box, GFCI and cover for back deck. Replace bad three way switches and fix tap to get power back to backyard landscape poles.
Today we replaced two customer supplied faucets with new pop up assemblies. We also replaced 4 straight stops underneath the master baths double vanity sink. We also capped off the gas line going to the dryer upstairs because they are moving and selling the dryer and washing machine. We also disconnected the washing machine box hoses supplying the basement and upstairs washing machine.
Arrived at home for concern with the upstairs sewer line that was coming from both bathrooms. Awesome explained that when water is used in either bathroom it each toilet and sometimes comes out of the bathroom tub and shower. First, we started off by sending camera uphill from clean out in driveway, but I was on a successful getting up the stack. Pulled the toilet in the master bathroom and sent camera down and noticed water sitting in the plant signifying clog. Set Cameron down and was able to relieve the clog within the first 25 feet. After water cleared, I was able to send Camera all the way down to the tap right at the entry doorway to the garage. I found two holes and major cracking in the PVC piping. Recommended replacing that section by breaking up the floor on either side of the doorway to create access to piping and make the repair. Austin plans to get a hold of his flooring guy so they can preserve the flooring as best as they can before we make the repair.

Cole at TE Certified did a great job at installing my ceiling fan.
Andrew was polite, honest and helpful and went above and beyond to try to fix the issue.
The TE Techs are very well trained knowledgeable. Prior to TE Certified I had 6 service calls for the same issue days apart via home warranty with 2 different companies. Neither company could accurately diagnose the problem. In one visit the tech accurately diagnose the problem, showed photo evidence of the problem and provide options. The tech explained all the options in detail. He provided me with enough information to make an informed decision. The estimated repair cost was market average. They honor returning clients with a discount.
Excellent service
Andrew Perez was very professional and very nice.
Caleb was great!
