Travel fee Customer called us out for a potential mainline blockage. Upon arrival customer stated they were experiencing a mainline blockage in the basement bathroom group. This is was the first time they have experienced this issue. The customer is on a septic tank system and has had the tank pumped out recently. We went to the basement bathroom group to do our inspection and we were running water in the basement bathroom group for a long period of time and we did not see any signs of a blockage. We also inspected the drains in the main and second floor and there was no signs of a blockage. The water heater in the home is about twelve years old, I recommended to the customer to have one of our sewer supervisor to come out and inspect it due to the age of it, the customer will call us back out when they’re ready to move forward with it. Gas inspector came out and said the systems furnace for the upstairs unit was leaking. Offered a diagnostic fee, Homecare fee for both systems, and also two system inspection. Homeowner said they wanted an overview of the system and to find the leak. Homeowner signed up for Homecare today. Did a whole check up for the AC side unit has no refrigerant and was not cooling. Cleared the drain lines and changed the filters. Check the heat exchanger on both units as well. Could not get an answer for the U/S unit because the gas is cut off to the whole home until the U/S unit is fixed. Electrical components are bad. We due not do repairs for R22 Units. We would have to repair the unit and retrofit it to 407C. Left and estimate for each system on the repairs for AC side and also an estimate for the gas valve. Two home inspections would be 149.99 each system and a diagnostic fee would be 98.00 each system. Today is the first maintenance day.

Customer has 8 y/o Lennox furnace matched with 5 y/o Lenno heat pump and 7 y/o Lennox coil that operates for whole house. System is not cooling properly due to low pressure levels indicating loss of refrigerant. Leak search determined bad evaporator coil, which is no longer under warranty and was never registered, according to Lennox representatives. Particular evaporator has also been phased out, however, replacement coil is available. Noticed that ductwork is undersized for current 2.5-ton system. Supply is 680 CFM and return 640 CFM. System requires at least 1,000 CFM. Also, square-ft. of residence is 2,100, meaning that system itself is undersized. Inspection of line set and outdoor unit were also performed. Blower wheel cleaning needed. Recommend water protection upgrade. Ductwork needs to be modified to match system for proper airflow. Informed customer of all findings. System is currently not working properly.
