Outlets in the dining room not working

SERVICE CALL: upon arrival homeowner stated the hvac system is not Cooling properly the first floor and the second floor is extremely cold. After complete troubleshooting I found the hvac system contractor grade Lennox with zoning controls 2 years old is not working properly due to Motor damper for first floor is not opening or closing properly and creates Airflow restrictions and the DATS sensor is working on short cycles and Turn on and off the outdoor unit. Recommend to replace and install new Electronic Damper motor. The main drain line don’t have any safety to Protect from water damage I recommend in line float switch and wet switch This will protect the system floor and ceiling from water damage. Homeowner is aware of the conditions of the system.

HOME INSPECTION FOR ONE SYSTEM: Replace and install one pleated Filter 20x25x1 provided by homeowner flushed drain lines with 2 gallons Of water test 2 Thermostats test variable speed blower motor check all Electrical connections test blower motor amperage recommend flood protection in line safety switch and wet switch this devices will prevent Water Damage. Test outdoor condenser unit carrier 5 ton capacity 5 years old rinse condenser coil with water only test all electrical components test Dual run capacitor 70/5 uf is reading 67/7.4 uf is ok at manufacture specifications test refrigerant charge pressures are reading ok at manufacture specifications recommend compressor hard start kit to Protect and extend the life of the compressor. After final inspection system Is working ok at manufacture specifications. Thanks for choosing TE CERTIFIED.

Came out today for a no cool service call on the main floor. Upon inspection found indoor cool a solid block of ice. Gave option to thaw out or return tomorrow. Customer approved to return in the morning first call. Upon returning today found system had thawed out and performed system diagnostic. Upon inspection found at the indoor TXV was sticking and causing unit to freeze up. Also upon inspection found the system had no TE standard flood protection, no UV protection and the blower wheel was also dirty. Customer approved option be with a three system home care. Upon completion and testing system made sure system had proper drainage on condensate line and system was cooling and operating properly. No further issues with the main floor system.

Homeowner had us out today because his system is not cooling properly. Upon arrival we noticed that there is a unit that is from 2009. Homeowner said that the system wont cool and keeps going above the temperature that they set it to. We tested electrical on the outdoor unit and noticed that the 35/5 capacitor has failed and needed to be replaced. Homeowner approved to have capacitor replaced. We checked refrigerant pressures after Replacing the capacitor and they were within the manufacture specifications. Also recommended customer to sign up for the home care membership.

Performed diagnostic on Goodman unit, upon arrival customer stated unit was clicking on and off, checked tstat, already in ac mode, upon going in basement found water inside secondary pan causing wet switch to activate, checked condensation pump, found cracked on port causing water to drain in pan and activate wet switch, recommend replacing condensation pump, inspected furnace, checked filter, blower wheel clean, inspected outdoor unit, checked capacitor, contactor, found contactor pitted, recommend replacing contactor, checked pressures, outdoor coil impacted as well, recommend cleaning coil, gave option to customer, customer approved all repairs, installed new condensation pump, made sure was pumping properly, installed contactor, and cleaned condenser coil, unit working properly at time, home is vacant and for sell

HOMECARE FIRST VISIT: Replace and install new pleated filter 16 x 25x1 plus repair drain line was completely stopped up. Cleared and repair drain Line and flushed with 2 gallons of water test gas furnace unit Payne is 21 years old is in poor maintenance conditions test run capacitor failed is out of spec from manufacture the blower wheel and motor are highly impact Unit don’t have safety float switch to prevent water damage no in line safety No drain pan safety or wet switch. Test outdoor condenser unit amana 3 ton capacity 9 years old condenser coil it’s dirty check capacitor ok check Refrigerant charge is ok. Unit is 9 years old and life expectancy are 10 to 12 years due to aged and conditions of the system I recommend to consider To upgrade system at near future.

For this job, I worked on installing a EV charger

Upon arrival water leaking from hvac system into kitchen ceiling. Discovered clog in ptrap off the evaporator coil. System does not need a trap it is not a negative oresssure system. Removed trap and replaced with a downfall pvc drain line. Added vent to be able to have future drain flushing and cleaning. Installed wet switch to auxiliary drain pan.

Install Tesla wall connector for new Tesla

Replace 2 faulty gfi in bathrooms and troubleshoot circuits not Working.

Troubleshoot

Replaced kitchen faucet. No warranty due to high pressure.

Arrived found unit cycled off. Checked evaporator coil and the blower wheel are clean. Heater is operating. Customer changed filter 16 x 25 x 1. Found water residue on return Plenum. Possibly caused by water condensating off PVC drain line. PVC drain line does not have insulation. Neither does supply Plenum. Checked capacitor, contactor, and pressures. All are within manufacturer specs. Recommend wrapping PVC drain with Arma flex and replacing supply Plenum.

Shower drain repair

Dishwasher trap was nut was loose and leaking. Tightened and tested.

Performed 1 system diagnostic. Found main level Trane to be 10 years old. Variable speed blower motor failure. Blower wheel was compacted, outdoor unit was compacted, no te standard flood protection, and due to the amount of dirty in the blower wheel would also recommend a deep clean for the evaporator coil. Due to cost of repairs and age of system Custimer would like estimate for replacement. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
Setting up the appointment was very easy and communication with the office. Staff and electrician were seamless and incredibly accurate. Jose took time to explain his findings and what he was going to do with repairing the issue. Very pleased and will use TE Certified Electrical again.

Troubleshoot breaker tripping

Customers tank to bowl connection was leaking. Replaced tank bolts replaced fill valve and flapper. All work was tested and documented with pictures

THIS 2.5 TON UNIT NEEDS 1000 CFM OF AIR, DUCTWORK IS ONLY BIG ENOUGH TO MOVE 700 CFM, SYSTEM LACKING FLOOD PROTECTION & NO DISCONNECT BOX FOR POWER IN CLOSET.
