I initially called about installing a light fixture and some ceiling fans. My house is 50+ years old, so when the fixtures were removed, all sorts of problems were found, includinga melted box. Everything was explained to me and options given. I was made part of the process, which I really appreciated, and all the issues were fixed that day. I am very pleased with the service and especially with Hubert who was knowledgeable, kind, and efficient with his work.
COMMERCIAL SERVICE CALL : upon arrival customer stated the main floor system for warehouse is not working properly. After complete troubleshooting I found the heat pump system Rheem/ Ruud 4 ton Capacity 9 years old is in Poor maintenance conditions I found the 50 amp breaker was tripped test outdoor heat pump unit and I found Bad Compressor is shorted to Ground and is tripping the breaker DUE TO AGED AND CONDITIONS VS COSTS OF REPAIRS I RECOMMEND TO UPGRADE COMPLETE SYSTEM. THE BUSINESS OWNER IS AWARE OF THE CONDITIONS OF THE EQUIPMENT. RECOMMEND CONSULTATION TO GET DIFFERENT OPTIONS FOR COMPLETE REPLACEMENT. Thanks For Choosing te certified.

Test outdoor condenser unit Goodman 2 ton capacity 9 years old unit is in poor conditions the Dual run capacitor is out of spec from manufacture 0.00/4.9 uf condenser coil is highly impacted test compressor internal windings resistance are below 50 mega ohms that’s indication of possible failure DUE TO AGED AND CONDITIONS VS COSTS OF REPAIRS I RECOMMEND TO UPGRADE COMPLETE SYSTEM. Came in today because system was not cooling. When testing system found outdoor electrical components had failed. Also indoor coil has noticeable sings of biological growth spreading. Waterlines and drain line repairs
Arrived ahead of time and great service.
For this job, I came to look at a system that was not cooling. Once I arrived, I noticed that the thermostat was failing and intermittently working. I offered an estimate to replace the thermostat in which the customer agreed. I offered an estimate to join our homecare membership, which she agreed as well. Lastly, I explained that due to the age of the system I do recommend a free estimate and which she agreed and have an install supervisor come out tomorrow.
For this job, I came to look at a system in which was not cooling. I begin by going upstairs to the furnace and immediately noticed that the evaporator coil was completely frozen with ice. Then went to the outdoor unit sure that the condenser fan motor was working. After noticing that the fan is properly working, I proceeded to hook up my gauges just to get a pressure and noticed that the 17-year-old system is very low on refrigerant. I explained to the customer that not only is his system low on refrigerant but it also carries r22 which is no longer available. Due to the age of the system and unavailability of refrigerant I highly consider that the customer gets a free estimate to replace the AC. He agreed and a supervisor will be coming out today to provide an estimate.
Scheduled TGL FOR 20 year old r22 with a leak, rusty compromised flue pipe, amd condensing unit no longer ejecting heat.
Replaced multi turn emergency shut off valve for toilet with new 1/4 turn straight stop. Replaced fill valve, flapper, and supply line. Flushed toilet several times and performed dye test to test for proper operations.

Rubbed on site for no call. Checked in with customer and also checked thermostat for power and functionality. Per customer “ I had Walton EMC electrical system on my house when it was built, I didn’t know at the time that there was a recall on all electrical supplied by them in my house at the time my power went out due to working on power line. That was on may 3erd. I haven’t had heat or cooling since then” Set thermostat to a call for cool, nothing happened. Check to see if furnace had power and checked breakers. Breakers have power, power being supplied to electrical connections inside furnace. Found door switch to be bad after testing with multimeter. Will need to be replaced to get system operable.
Arrive spoke with customer. He stated he had another company out. They disconnected outdoor heat pump, made it straight, cool. Found stuck reversing valve and a compromised compressor. Failing dual capacitor and pitted contactor. No in line safety no wet switch no auxiliary drain pan. Dirty blower wheel and bad run capacitor. Highly recommend system replacement system 2009 R22. We spoke about the second system. Customer stated other company said there was a leak. Unit almost at zero pressures. Need to start with a nitrogen assisted leak search. Upon completion of leak search will be coil replacement and compressor replacement. Recommend replacing system as well. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
Troubleshoot electric 60 gallon AO Smith water heater. Could not replicate thermostat tripping at heater and all diagnostics run showed there was no issues currently with the thermostat, wiring, or element. Recommended homeowner go through warranty of heater to see if thermostat or elements are still under warranty for future replacement.
New wayfarer light and surge protector.
Arrived on site for no call cool. Checked in with customer and also checked thermostat for power and functionality. Per customer “ it stopped during the day and then when night came, the system turned back on and has slowly been stopping since this morning.” Went into attic space to check out furnace first. Pulled cap off of condensate line and noticed it was full of water, no water has dripped into drip pan yet. Grabbed my pump and went out to condensate line outside, pumped because there was a blockage. A bunch of zoogloea came out of condensation line( see pics), and then a bunch of water came out after. Went back into attic to check condensate line, there is no longer standing water inside the line. Went to condenser to check condition and pressures. Pressures are a little high, due to the excessive amount of dust and dirt on the coil itself. Recommending a coil cleaning.
Located in the master bathroom. I removed the existing light that the electrician left and installed a fan light combo for the customer. No paint needed.
For this job, I came to look at a system in which the customer stated that the outdoor fan was not running. I proceeded to open up the condenser and measure all its electrical components, and immediately noticed that the capacitor was fried. I also saw that there were several Terminals that were burnt, and I proceeded to offer the customer and estimate to replace the capacitor as well as repair the damaged cables. He Agreed and I was able to complete this repair today. I also provided an estimate for the customer to consider joining our homecare maintenance plan. Customer just wanted me to look at the outdoor unit today.

Not one who does a lot of reviews, I’m extremely impressed with the HVAC Technician Jason Braunstein, and the company that he works for, TE CERTIFIED! A review is warranted. I’ve been a long time customer of one of TE Certified competitors for years, but after today, that loyalty may have come to an end. Needing my winter checkup on my Lennox gas furnace but not yet hearing from so mentioned competitor, as I normally do. I decided to call them and see if they could come out for a service call, the date is 12/23/25 but they didn’t have an available appointment for service until 01/15/26! That was unacceptable! I had many HVAC companies to choose from but remembering a jingle from the radio “TE CERTIFIED WE LOVE YOUR HOME” and checking the company’s reviews, all very good. I decided on them and made the call, and I’m sure glad that I did! The receptionist was very courteous and very helpful, and scheduled me an appointment that very same day! The Technician, Jason Braunstein arrived as scheduled and provided excellent service. He was very nice, polite, and very knowledgeable of my Lennox gas furnace. He inspected the furnace thoroughly! He adjusted the heating system to give our home the proper warm air temperature that matched the thermostat reading. He gave me a complete breakdown and inspection evaluation of my system, along with pictures, sent to my email very soon after he left. I was very impressed with TE CERTIFIED and must say that based upon the expertise of their employees and how “They Loved My Home” 🙂 I will be calling them again! Kind of disappointed in the leak detection. I know it was a small leak and hard to find but, I had to pay y’all then get another company to find it . Your employee was great, but having to pay twice was not great.
