Upon arrival customer stated that heat was not working properly. Stated that outdoor fan would come on and then shut off. After inspection of two year old system found that unit had a bad pressure switch at outdoor unit and defrost board. Sent call for heat from thermostat and everything turned on at indoor unit. Checked outdoor unit and saw unit would come on for a minute and then shut off. Tested outdoor system and removed pressure switch from board and bypassed it. When I did this system would run and not turn off. When pressure switch was added back into the equation it would then trip outdoor unit causing it to stop working. Advised customer of issues with system. Gave customer estimate for repairs on system, customer did not choose to move forward at this time. System is not working properly.

Installed customer supplied disposal, replaced hall bathroom tub shower. also quoted for halo H2zero system due to the hardness of their water. Looked at tub spout, removed and put back on, caulked it and the overflow. Customer wanted to see before cutting ceiling if leak continues. Tested disposal, tub shower, no leaks

Troubleshoot outdoor outlets not working, replace outdoor outlets for repair

Upon arrival, the customer informed me that a different contractor recently replaced the stems and a three handle shower valve. During my evaluation, I found that the stems were not installed properly, which caused the valve to leak. In addition, the shower valve itself is very old. I performed a water pressure test and found the home pressure to be 130 psi, which is significantly higher than the recommended range and can cause leaks, fixture damage, and potential major issues throughout the plumbing system. I explained these findings and the associated risk to the homeowner. For today, Mr. opted to only have the shower valve handle tightened. No additional repairs were authorized at this time.

Customer called us out for garbage disposal not working properly. Upon testing found that disposal was functional but not draining. Took apart drain assembly for garbage disposal and found foreign object stuck in drain line. Removed object and flow was restored.

Customer called us out for mainline blockage in upstairs bathroom as well as separate clogged toilet in downstairs. Cleared upstairs blockage by pulling toilet and running cable machine and cleared downstairs toilet clog with closet auger. Also installed 2 customer supplied toilet seats on toilets. Camera inspection scheduled for tomorrow as well as service technician.

Installed wet switch and inline safety today. System is operating properly at the moment.

Complete system observation by the time of arrival client explained that he was having a pest control treatment being done, and the pest control tech accidentally ripped a section of the ductwork leading to the upstairs quarter client or replace and replacement.

Mini split in basement was turning off due to high limit. The high pressures was getting up to approx 500 psi. The inverter board will need to be replaced . I also recommend having the refrigerant removed and a deep vacuum to be pulled. All fresh refrigerant should be installed after a deep vacuum has been pulled. When the systems fan is put in auto the pressures spike but when the fan setting are manually adjust the pressures are more balanced. These are indicators that the inverter board is failing and not ramping the compressor and fan speeds properly. I tried calling the manufacturer (Tosot); they didn’t answer. The homeowner will need to call the manufacturer and file a warranty through them. We will not be able to repair this brand of unit. I did a brief (free) inspection of the mainfloor system and found the the system is a 2015 Lennox system. The system is low on refrigerant. The super heat was 36 (piston system).
