Tenant was noticed water leaking from the register on the ceiling in front of the refrigerator. The master shower is located above. The shower unit is a fiberglass insert. I made my recommendations and the landlord decided to proceed with reset of the existing unit. We removed the drain and found that it had previously been worked on. We sealed the drain and set it back. Tenant has been notified to allow 12 hours before using.

Arrived to replace some faucets today. After doing our thorough evaluation we found that the prv was faulty and the tankless was not set up for recirculating causing long wait times for hot water. We replaced three faucets, prv, and added cross over tee and changed settings on tankless. Sold exhaust vent replacement for next day.
During our visit, the customer mentioned he noticed a leak that appeared to come from the master bathroom toilet. Upon inspection, I noticed the supply line was leaking. The customer also showed us below the bathroom the ceiling where a pinhole was present. I spoke with the customer about solutions moving forward. An estimate was approved and work began. The old toilet was removed in the master bathroom. A new Kohler kingston toilet was installed with a new shutoff valve and supply line. The toilet was installed with a new wax ring and bolts. The pinhole was repaired in the kitchen ceiling. The customer removed drywall prior to my arrival. These repairs were tested for leaks and functionality after completion. Thanks for choosing Te Certified!!!!!

For this job, the customer stated they could hear a noise coming from inside the wall near the stairwell. After investigation we found that the sound was coming from a pvc stack in the wall, and the sound we heard was normal. We tried many things to make sure there was nothing abnormal going on inside the home. While we diagnosed the issue we noticed a failed expansion tank due to improper installation, and a builder grade pressure regulator. We gave options on those items, and the customer opted to go with replacing both. We performed work, and tested everything. Thank you for Choosing TE Certified.
Added a nema 14-50 outlet in the garage for a car charger. The circuit is GFCI protected at the breaker. Added surge protection to both panels. Replaced a GFCI outlet in the garage
Replaced American Standard Champion, flush tower seal, located in the upstairs master bathroom toilet. Toilet was flushed several times to test for additional leaks and proper functionality. Cleaned up work area and successfully collected payment over the phone. Customer was not on site at time work was completed. Technician also found toilet to be wobbling and is not properly set. Customer is aware of this and declined toilet reset quote at this time. THANK YOU for trusting T.E. Certified!!
I came out today due to a circuit not working, and I found on the circuit that a couple receptacles were not working along with the ceiling fan in the common room. I pulled the switch out as a courtesy to do a quick test and found that no power was present, and I also noticed the switch is wired as a dead end .I have found where the switch had experienced a ground fault and has been slightly damaged and should be replaced. The panel is in the foyer area behind a painting, just right of the bathroom. There was wallpaper covered over top of the cover, and I explained to the tenant that I would have to cut around it to remove the cover to do some testing on the breakers. I made my way down each breaker until I got to circuit number 12, which appeared to be in the on position but no power was leaving the breaker. I also discovered that a 14 gauge wire with the max capacity rating of 15 A is on a 20 amp breaker. The panel is an old Sylvania main breaker type, and I informed the tenant that

During our visit, the customer mentioned he was having an issue with the living room fireplace not burning at full capacity. He also mentioned a fireplace company recently made some repairs in an attempt to resolve the issue. Considering the flames are burning very low, the suspecting issue was insufficient gas pressure. I completed a gas pressure reading from the gas control valve at the unit. The inlet and outlet static and dynamic pressure readings were sufficient according to the rating plate on the unit. I recommended the customer to contact the fireplace repair man to possible diagnose the issue again. Thanks for choosing Te Certified !!!
Arrived on time, quickly found the problem and gave us different options for the repair.
Homeowner had leak on main service line near the meter. Made recommendations and homeowner decided to have repairs done. Once we exposed the line we determined that the leak was on a 90 just after the meter. We cut out and removed section of pipe that was connected to the irrigation and after. Piped in new HDPE pipe and made connections to the existing pvc main and the irrigation line. Once all connections were made pressurized the system and verified connections.
Replaced tub shower valve located in the basement bathroom, with a new customer provided valve and trim kit. THANK YOU for trusting T.E. Certified!!
Troubleshoot kitchen outlets not working. Found a buried junction box. Flipped it around and made it into an outlet. Also, the transfer switch for the kitchen outlets was turned off. Removed the portable generator transfer switch.
During our visit, the customer mentioned the carpet behind the basement shower was wet after the shower had been used. After pulling the shower head escutcheon forward, I noticed the eared 90 was cracked in the wall. Drywall was removed to access the pipe. A new brass eared 90 was installed. The shower head was tested for leaks after completion. Thanks for choosing Te Certified!!!
I had the pleasure of having Andrew out to my house on Saturday to diagnose and fix what we expected to be, faulty smoke detectors. We discovered it was something entirely different and got a good chuckle out of the end situation. I was thankful Andrew was one of those “think outside the box” kind of people and welcomed my collaboration in getting to the root cause of the beeping we were hearing. End result was much needed replacement and upgraded smoke detectors and a fix on my security system power supply which I fussed with in trying to determine if that was the initial issue. Andrew was professional, knowledgeable and easy going. He was exactly what I needed during a stressful situation. Thank you Andrew and TE Certified. Your techs always Rock!
For this job, I replaced two smoke detectors that were out of date.
No heat smaller rooms. Found faulty control board sending error code when no cause of code. Found cracked heat exchanger, high amp draw on inducer motor, no flood protection. Advised customer of cracked in heat exchanger. Instructed not to operate heat due to safety concerns. Left thermostat in off position. Customer getting quote on replacing system tomorrow morning. Repairs quoted are estimated due to manufacturer being closed
