Excellent experience… James is always professional, friendly & helpful is resolving our electrical issues. Well done all!
Arrived onsite and met with the serv pro technician. He let us know that during the demolition someone had severed the water supply going to the water heater. They turned water off to the home and waited for us to get here. We advised before any work that once work is completed we would need to preform pressure test of the system to verify water pressure is at a safe level for us to warranty the work we did. After we did our work and restored water we tested the water pressure and got 62 psi. We then checked the thermal expansion tank to find it had failed. We recommended replacing but unfortunately the home owner is not home and was not available during this visit. Sent estimates and there is no warranty on todays work.
Replaced aged water heater with new 50 gallon gas water heater with ten year warranty. Replaced main shutoff with new ball valve. Tested for leaks and function. No issues.

Homeowner has a badger 5 disposal that is leaking through the base, the disposal is at least 5 years old and at this point needs to be replaced. I replaced the disposal with a new badger 5 1/2hp garbage disposal, new mounting bracket and new wire nuts. Tested disposal by filling basin of sink multiple times and draining water to ensure no leaks and proper function.
Homeowner called us out due a leak in dining room ceiling. After testing the upstairs hall bath and laundry drains, I didn’t see or hear any water coming from the ceiling. After running the washer, I noticed water pooling around the washer, coming from the washer internally and running down the side. With the amount of water sitting after running a few loads, it’s clear that the washer is the cause of the leak below. Recommended replacement/removal.
For this job, I added a tv and replaced a light in the foyer
I replaced the homeowners' water heater due to age with a new 50-gallon unit. I installed a new expansion tank and shut-off, routed the new temperature relief line outside, and added double wall venting for the water heater. After completing everything, I tested it and checked for leaks.
No Heat - 19 year old Trane equipment System not heating due to multiple reasons that all relate back to the system age. The main control board is bad and does not send proper voltage to the gas valve. Sometimes it sends 5 volts, sometimes it sends 12.8 volts, it’s supposed to send 24-28 volts. The heat exchanger has multiple cracks and failed areas, this is a safety concern due to the exhaust gas making its way through the crack and into the conditioned air stream. The evaporator coil is extremely dirty, and rusted out in multiple areas. The blower motor is leaking oil, dirty, and the blower wheel is dirty. The igniter and flame rectifier is weak and chalky, reading far below manufacture parameters. After going over the systems age, condition, and costly temporary repairs, the homeowner
Called out to complete sold work for installing a new navien tankless water heater. Began by shutting water off to the existing unit and draining the system. Once system was drained removed old unit and relocated Navien tankless into the garage. Installed ion six before the tankless water heater in order to prevent scale buildup. Ran new intake vent outside and exhaust vent outside. Once all work was complete re-introduced water to the system and tested all work for leaks and functionality. No leaks and the tankless is working properly. Installed a crossover tee at the furthest fixture in the home and initiated recirculation on the navien tankless. Also installed a customer supplied toilet in the upstairs hallway bathroom. Removed and hauled away old toilet. Once work was complete. Tested for leaks and functionality. No leaks and functioning properly. Thank you for trusting T certified with all your plumbing needs
In the master bathroom at the 2g switch box I discovered that the sconce, shower light and fan all had independent switch legs in the box. I was able to find the wire that controls the vent fan and created a pig tail to the second switch on the right that controls the can light over the shower. I corrected the quick wiring to the switches while at the box. I removed the old EcoSmart lamp and trim from the shower and supplied and install a new 6” led retro fit trim and set the color temp to 3000k The scone lights in the master bathroom were slightly flickering when the washing machine was on.
Installed duplex receptacle with half inch seal tight from kitchen floor into kitchen cabinet underneath sink for dishwasher. Tested voltage at the outlet and the dishwasher with a reading of 120 volts at each location. This circuit is arc fault protected and gfci protected at the breaker. Ran the dishwasher with the homeowner and everything is working as it should upon departure.
Once arrived customer took us to the outside storage room and described where she had seen water leaking from. She said when the rear hose bib isolation valve is turned on water leaks from the light fixture. I let her know we will need to cut open the Sheetrock to preform leak search. Customer agreed so we began by cutting a small hole in the storage room ceiling. After running water to determine location of the leak we noticed water was flowing from the pantry inside. So we cut another hole in the pantry ceiling. We found that a cpvc coupling had come completely apart. We recommended running a new line and installing a new hose bib. Customer agreed. We started by using a cpvc to pex transition fitting. We then ran half inch pex all the way to the new hose bib and removed all the old cpvc along the way. We insulated all new piping with fiber glass insulation and strapped every 2 feet. We secured the new hose bib to the exterior wall and sealed. Restored water and tested for leaks and p
Blown low voltage fuse. Flue vent is taped at the seams. Equipment lacks adequate flood protection and could benefit from additional IAQ
Called out to address no hot water in the home. Upon arrival homeowner showed me to a tankless unit that is located in the backyard under the back porch. Rinnai Tankless is almost 20 years old and is currently leaking from multiple areas and not functioning. Advised the homeowner that repair is not a good choice due to it requiring a full overhaul. Gave the homeowner multiple solutions for a new Navien tankless unit to be relocated into the garage to fix venting issues with current heater. Homeowner will review the estimates and call back to schedule an appointment to get the new tankless installed. If customer moves forward with a new tankless, this invoice cost will be put towards the cost of the new navien tankless. Thank you for trusting TE certified with all your plumbing needs

My husband and I had an issue with the electrical switch to the garbage disposal, and it was solved quickly and priced reasonably. Steven Vaughn was our technician, and he was punctual, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the work. While here, Steven discovered an issue with our electrical panel that he was able to fix right away. It feels great knowing everything our panel is now safe and up to code. Thank you, Steven! I would definitely request him again.
He was professional and informative.
We smelled gas and contacted the Gas Co. who sent a guy out to turn things off. Next, I called TE Certified and they were able to get a technician out within a couple hours at the end of the day when everyone else was heading home. He clearly explained how he would repair the problem and went about the task professionally and efficiently. I hope I do not need their services again anytime soon but I would call them again if the need arises.
