For this job, I worked on and replacing a 50 gallon, Aosmith water heater. With a Rheem 50 gallon gas 10 year warranty water heater that has an extra anode rode. Old water heater was rusted from the bottom of the unit. Replaced up to 18 inches of copper and expansion tank. Went ahead check for leaks and cleaned up area.

Today Lucy called us out to your home because she had no power to her study. During my troubleshoot, I found that there was a bad breaker that controlled the study. So today we replaced the bad tandem breaker. We also installed a whole house surge protector.

Arrived for zoning issues. System has 2 systems and 3 thermostats. Downstairs has its own system. And the main floor and upstairs are zoned a serrated system. Top floor thermostat wouldn’t respond to any calls for heat and main floor thermostat would over heat the upstairs and wouldn’t sufficiently heat the main floor. We discovered the thermostat upstairs had bent pins. Not sending call for heat to zone board and the zone damper for the upstairs was disconnected and was always open. Sendingnprimary airflow upstairs. We also discovered gas pressure very high, along with dirty blower wheels, undersized duct work and a semi dirty air filter causing the system to occasionally trip high limit. Gas pressure was adjusted, zoning was restored and thermostats are both responsive and operational again. System has a breached heat exchanger and is 20 years old and approaching failure. We discussed long term solutions and she said she will start to think about the long term solutions after the upc

Performed a Homecare maintenance inspection on the whole home HVAC system. Tested heating, cooling and zoning from the thermostats. Measured the refrigerant pressures and electrical component readings. Inspected the safety and cleanliness of the systems. Checked the natural gas pressures. Checked and replaced the AprilAire model 413 media filter. Reported findings to the customer.

added an outlet in the bathroom. The outlet is protected by a dual functioned breaker at the main panel. Outlet has been tested and works properly.

No heat in the upstairs system, due to a bad igniter. Replaced igniter and system works. Inspected system. Heat exchanger has some very heavy rusted and hot spots, blower wheel is very dirty, no flood protection devices installed. Sent estimates for potential repairs, but, due to the age (24 years old furnace and 11 years old air conditioner), the best option would be to upgrade the system, with 10 years warranty and WiFi thermostat. Will do a follow up call tomorrow to see if home owner wants a free estimate to upgrade the system.

Customer had a leak coming down from washer box area behind the stove. We cut open more dry wall and eventually found it. We replaced the washer box and fixed the leak with it.

Customers, master bathroom shower was leaking from a bad cartridge. pressure on the house was fifty p.S I. Customer agreed to our quote to replace the cartridge. I turned the water off behind the water. Heater and partially drained the house down.And then removed the old cartridge and installed a new one. Afterwards we turned the water back on and tested to make sure that there were no leaks. No leaks. We then put the customers a shower head back in place. And tested. No further issues at this time. Pulled toilet in basement bathroom to clear mainline blockage in cast iron drain with cable machine. Camera inspection scheduled for tomorrow 8-10.

Call out to remove old garbage disposal in kitchen sink. Upon arrival spoke with the homeowner about removing the garbage disposal and going back with tubular piping in its place due to them not wanting the garbage disposal replaced. Homeowner agreed on price and work was started. Removed old garbage, disposal, and replace with all new tubular. Drain piping. Once I work is complete tested for leaks and functionality. Leaks and everything is draining properly. Homeowner wanted estimates for replacing toilets, sinks, and faucets in the bathrooms of the home. Gave homeowner options for all things on his pick list with some added items for more comfort, such as replacing all the water stops for set fixtures. Homeowner agreed, and would like to schedule for the end of April for us to return back to complete the work. Appointment was scheduled with dispatch. Performed partial repipe on home in which new shutoffs and supply lines were added. Technician also installed insulation on the entire hot line insuring that pipe retains as much heat as possible. In addition we also secured pipe every few feet. In addition to the repipe technician removed guest bathroom toilet flange and installed a new toilet flange at the proper height. After making sure that all pipes were secured and insulated within restored water back to the home check new piping for leaks and found none.
