Job Locations and Reviews
Upon arrival, we met with the owners. The kitchen sink started to drain slowly about a month ago. We tested and it backs up immediately. We checked the p-trap and immediate pipe but found it clear. It initially seemed like a vent issue so we removed the old vent, tested and found the issue still occurring. The sink would drain fine when there was no vent attached at all. I ran my cable down the drain, ran water and confirmed it is draining. There may have been a blockage partially blocking the flow of the pipe. If the issue continues, I advised having the line hydrojetted as a long term solution and have provided that option. Perform sink drain cleaning with cable machine. Clear sink drain only. Does not include repairs or main line cleaning. No warranty on drain cleaning.
Arrived on site and customer stated no pressure changes throughout the house, especially when taking a shower. I went ahead and checked pressure and found pressure to be just below 60 psi. I had homeowner run a faucet and flush the toilet and noticed the temperature drop significantly. She also stated that pressure would trickle at the showerhead if you ran a cycle in the laundry room. I informed customer that a new pressure regulator would need to be installed in order to fix the failing PRV. Upon my inspection, we found that the PRV was located just after the main near the meter box and not inside the house where the main shut off is located in the garage. I explained to a customer that typically the PRV is located in the house just after the main shut off valve, which I recommended. I went ahead and cut out the PRV at the meter box connected that line and placed the PRV inside the garage after the main shut off house pressure has been set to 65 psi
Arrived on site and customer wanted a waterline ran with a hose bib. I was able to tee off the main line coming in above the bathroom/ office space and ran my waterline on the top and exterior wall of the warehouse bathroom . Once new waterline was ran I attached the hose bib, turned the water on and had customer test out the hose bib to ensure proper functioning.
Arrived on site to look at installing a few outlets for a basement kitchen. After looking at what the homeowner wanted done, we provided a few options. The homeowner decided on the bronze option. We installed two dedicated circuits for the basement kitchen fridge and microwave. Both of these circuits are on 20 amp dual function breakers. We also moved an existing circuit that was previously installed by TE. This circuit is now the basement kitchen countertop circuit. This circuit is also on a 20 amp dual function breaker. We installed a new switch for a light over the kitchen sink in the basement. This switch is controlled by a customer provided dimmer switch. We also removed the old range outlet so that the new cooktop could be installed. We will return on another trip to install the light above the kitchen sink. Any additional work will be quoted at that time. Everything is working upon departure.
Completed diagnosis and repairs of loss of power
Arrived on site to install a car charger on the main Eletrical panel with a 400A service. The panel was overloaded. After talking with the customer we decided to install a 150A disconnect outside, coming off of the load for the shop, and move the new car charger and a heat pump out with it to reduce the load of the main Eletrical panel. To do so we had to rework the Eletrical inside of the transfer switches for the generator that another company, not TE, had installed. After the job was complete we tested the generator and it was working as should with power being restored to the house and shop. We tested the heat pumps and AC and car chargers and all were working properly.
System has extremely low suction pressure with somewhat normal head pressure. Further inspection revealed the indoor TXV and capillary tube were frozen and thawed them out. Cycled the system back on and the compressor would not engage due to a capacitor below tolerance. Installed a new capacitor to test the unit and now the system temperature/pressure correlation appears to be normal. There may be an intermittent problem with the TXV closing down during the heat of the day. The TXV would require replacement to stop the coil from freezing. Indoor unit does not have flood protection and this is a concern for water damage to your ceiling if drain backs up or coil freezes and thaws which could overflow the pan. I recommend adding flood protection devices. System is cooling at this time.
Install a new 200 amp main disconnects with breaker spaces. We will move some off the bigger circuits from the house panel to this new panel. This will make it so the existing house panel is not overloaded. The new EV charger will come off this service. We will install the existing 50 amp EV circuit on the new panel and install a new charger. We will pull all required permits. Fix issues with the whole home generator set up. We will need to install the proper wiring for both of the 200 amp transfer switches. We will redo all connections at both transfer switches. We will make it where both transfer switches are wired in accordance with the NEC. Instead of installing 200 amp rated wire for the shop, we will install a 150 amp transfer switch breaker. We will also finish what is needed to provide power so that the homeowner can add an additional car charger We will move some off the bigger circuits from the house panel to this new panel. This will make it so the existing house panel is n
Noticed bad compressor. Shorted to ground. No discharge air sensor for zone board. No good flood protection. Dirty drain. Trane is closed at this time. Calling Trane about warranty tomorrow morning. Then will give home owner quotes.
No cool whole home. System is 2021 Goodman 3.5 ton ac furnace. Found system to have blown fuse error code at control board. Visual inspection found low voltage control wire to outdoor unit exposed and shorted. Quoted replacing low voltage wire and customer agreed to repair. Replaced wire and fuse and inspected system finding system lacks drain line safety, IAQ upgrades and fikter is getting dirty. Spoke bout maintenance plan. Customer recently married and would like to discuss any further repairs with her new husband before proceeding. System operational at time of leaving.
They were Great thank you.
we performed service on the 2020 Trane air handler and heat pump system serving the home. System is installed in a two-car garage and is a single system serving three zones. During our evaluation, we found the indoor evaporator coil was heavily impacted with biological growth and debris. The outdoor unit pressure readings indicated the system may have a refrigerant restriction concern due to the coil being impacted. We also found the outdoor capacitor reading below manufacturer specifications, which can affect compressor and motor performance with long-term reliability issues. The zoning system does have a bypass installed, and the zoning equipment is set up with a non-modulating variable-speed system. The zoning setup does not include a dedicated supply air sensor as part of the basic zoning safety design and the current supply plenum is not set up adequately to account for a bypass and the sensor; It is undersized, but functioning. Photos and findings were documented for custo
For this job, the customer had a leak at the penetration of the home where the water enters the home. The pipe going into the foundation was pex, and it put stress on the pvc outside causing the pipe to break off completely. I removed the pex and install soft copper through the foundation. Once complete I tested for leaks, and backfilled area. The builder of the home turned off the heaters and recirculating pump, I turned them all back on to the same settings. The housekeeper is leaving the water off to the home while no one is there, and made her aware once she turns the water back on to plug in the recirculating pump. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.
Upon arrival, we met with the owner. The toilet in the main level guest bathroom has a few broken parts causing it to constantly run and also not flush. They approved to replace the toilet today. We shut off, drained and removed the toilet. Inspected the flange and set new closet bolts and a wax ring. We provided a taller toilet in a 10” rough, assembled, installed and tested. At this time, the toilet is functioning properly with no leaks or errors.
At arrival on 05/21/26 found system#4 not cooling After diagnostic found the outside disconnect left off. Potentially, the previous technician left it off because homeowner does not go back to the condenser units. Turned back on the disconnect.

I was called out to Randy’s house for a Homecare maintenance. Randy moved in about a month ago so we performed a thorough evaluation. During the evaluation we discovered both systems are new, the flood protection needs updating, the main system’s wheel needs cleaned, uv lights keep the air handlers clean, the whip wire for the main heat pump is improper, the breaker for the main heat pump is oversized, the plenums are duct board, and the basement system is a bit low on refrigerant.

Homeowners water heater was not getting hot and water pressure was 90 psi. Had homeowner turn the power on to the water heater and checked power. Shut water off and cut out section of PE piping. Installed new main shut off and Pressure Reducing Valve and set pressure to 65 psi. Checked water heater and it is working properly
No heat or cool. Upon arrival found all low voltage removed from system and high voltage shut off. Discovered failed thermostat for upstairs. Tested system multiple times with jumper to verify no other issues with zoning . Also found system to be low in r410a, dirty blower and heat pump. Lacks adequate flood protection, recommended drain cleaning, contactor is burnt, wrong dual capacitor on heat pump, replaced both thermostat with ecobee and tested equipment, added 2lbs r410a after electronic leak search did not locate any leaks, and rewired system. Tested systems all systems functioning at this time.
No cool only system 2015 rheem furnace with 1987 trane 3 ton ac. Cycled equipment from thermostat found locked up condensation pump in basement. Client will order new pump off Amazon and install himself. Ac unit is almost 40 years old and uses R22 refrigerant that has been mandated by the federal government and is obsolete. Average life span on a ac is 10-15 years depending on maintenance log will schedule install supervisor to give options on updating
TE Electric is a professionally run company. We have purchased 2 heating and cooling units in the last year. They both were installed by Hunter, a very nice, experienced professional. His knowledge is far above anyone I have come across in the heating/cooling business in my lifetime. TE Electric will continue to maintain our new units and we are very happy with our purchases.
Great communication & service!!
Five Stars
Elliott was at our home to assess repairs needed to get out 10 year old heat pump running at 8:00 Monday morning, less than 12 hours after I called the TE after hours line on Sunday night. Beyond being prompt, professional, and friendly, he clearly knows his stuff. Elliott quickly reviewed what was happening with our system, and shared what he found in a way that made sense. Options were clear. We later decided to replace the system, but I have no doubt we would have been up and running again quickly had we elected to repair. I am an admitted TE fan, we have had only good experiences over the years. Elliott raised the bar even further. Highly recommend!!
Prompt, professional, knowledgeable, caring, competent, talented, articulate….. all add up to a terrific experience. Picture this….. it is six degrees, and your 10 year old heat pump cannot keep up, not even close. You make the call to replace. And Hunter and Jackson arrive early - removing the old system as the new system shows up on a second TE truck right on queue. Perfect. I cannot recommend TE enough, every contact was positive. After my first call answered by a young lady on the after hours line on a Sunday night, Elliott was on site first thing Monday morning, assessing necessary repairs needed to get our existing system functioning. Hayden came nearly immediately after I asked about potential to replace, and thoroughly outlined options to consider. We made the call to replace, and Hunter and Jackson were onsite the next morning- again, early. The install was flawless. There are tons of companies to choose from for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. We have used TE for all three over the years and have never been disappointed. We don’t even shop, and we expect the best. Hunter exceeded those expectations, and then some. Use TE, you will not be disappointed. The folks mentioned above represented TE and themselves flawlessly!
Trevor came out to our house to complete another job for us and, as always, he went above and beyond to provide excellent service! Trevor is officially our ‘go to’ for all things electrical!
Trevor Mooney provided the best customer service! Super friendly and knowledgeable. He showed up when he said he would and worked quickly to install four motion light/security cameras for us. Carter was working with Trevor today and was super friendly, as well! Reliable, friendly guys. We’ll be using TE Certified (and Trevor), again!
He did a great job on our mini splits.
James did a great job, knowledgeable, thorough, and a true expert!
The guys were great. The quality of the work was great as well. I guess I’m old and just don’t understand why things cost so much.
Excellent service
I was very happy with Liam’s service today. They were both patient with me and explained everything they were going to do and exactly what the problem’s were. All my questions were answered. I feel safer and I am sure whoever lives here next will too.
I have only positive comments to make. A person actually answered the phone, not a message machine. Scheduling an appointment was super easy and the appointment was sooner than I thought I would be able to get. Kyle, my electrician, and his helper were great. He worked up the estimate and was able to do the installation then. He was beyond knowledgeable, answering all my questions, and giving me information before I even asked. He double checked with me before determining final placement. Kyle also explained some things that a previous electrician should have done, but didn't. I will definitely use this company for any future electrical needs.
Very quick service response. Also making sure all service parts were leak free. Very personable. Reasonably priced. Professional and knowledgeable.
Great service and helping us at Servpro handle a broken pipe with our mutual customer
Jansen did a great job replacing the compressor on our AC unit and it's working great now!
Very professional, explained the process and results exceptionally well.
Shane arrived on time, repaired our AC compressor and thoroughly explained exactly what he did.
Elliot was very prompt arriving and did a great job diagnosing our AC problem and scheduling the repair.
Brian is an awesome tech!! Walked us through what he saw was the issue, provided resolution options and gave us the best quote possible.
Jansen and James were excellent
Thank you for the five stars, Kristen! We’re glad Jansen and James provided excellent service. We look forward to assisting you again in the future.
Tech was immediately out and very polite. Gave seemingly good recommendations and estimates. He will be coming out next week to repiped entire house in 2 days. I will give a opinion on that after that is complete. But for the leak he fixed, quickly, I would give him a high recommendation. I cannot rate the quality of work yet, as I have not been to the cabin to check it out at this point. Ben Cantrell was very informative and helpful with my current situation.
Jason and Eldjy (I hope I spelled his name correctly) were awesome! They installed a new system and it was so quick! They did a great job!
