Homeowner had us out today to complete an inspection. Upon arrival, we were informed that they are currently selling the home and wanted to get a full inspection on the system to see the condition. We noticed that there is a Lennox heat pump system from 2017. We noticed some water in the emergency drain pan there is no flood protection on the system. We tested the condensate pump and also tested the drain to make sure that the system was draining correctly. We tested all electrical on the system and noticed that there was a 7.5 capacitor that is out of range reading 7.05. We also noticed in biological growth on the inside of the unit and recommend installing UV. We checked the outdoor system and noticed that the refrigerant pressures were low indicating a leak within the system. We performed a quick leak search on the system and found that there was a leak on the evaporator coil. We also noticed that the 40/5 capacitor was out of range on the fan reading 4.0. The contactor was also bur

Interceptive wires at septic tank, installed underground splice kits, and ran the wires up into new box. Set post box and outlet to plug sump pump into. Backfilled around septic tank. Added GFCI alarm inside the house for the sump pump. If the pump tripped the GFCI, the GFCI alarm will go off and customer will be able to hear the alarm inside the house.G At some point in the past, the circuits running to the sump pump or disconnected and a circuit from the living room was connected. When Delta plumbing installed new risers and pumped out the tanks, they cut the old wires and then left the circuit on. The septic tank had a live uncovered 120 V wire in the tank.

We tested the main breaker outside and then went inside the apartment. Inside the apartment pat murphy electric pulled off the panel cover and tested the voltage. The maintenance guy on Turned the water heater, pat murphy electric turned the oven on, I turned the dryer on, maintenance turned the AC on, and Pat Murphy measured the voltage and amperage at the panel. I went outside tested the voltage and amperage at the main breaker. We got up to 48 A on each leg. But we were not able to re-create the issue of one of the legs dropping out. After inspecting the equipment behind the meter base, we can’t see any signs of burning or damage. Our recommendation is to change out the main breaker..

T E is not responsible for any damage to counter installed customer supplied drop in stove connected gas line tested no failure at this time.

Installed ceiling fan in master bedroom on high ceiling. Took a look at possible lightning strike scenario GFI was tripping in bathroom. Nothing else was lost however the freezer was affected and is only halfway freezing. I believe the freezer did get hit by some kind of surge and the GFI needs to be replaced. The outlet that the freezer is plugged into is wired backwards and needs to be rewired.be.

Ran 60 amp line and set Tesla connector on outside brick wall. Install surge protection in panel. Uninstall two pole 30 amp breaker and installed Single pole 15 amp breaker for line that was installed into the two pole 30.

Troubleshoot electrical issue. ISSUE: outlets in basement and outside on back of home are not working FINDINGS: it appears that the circuit was never finished. There are wires hanging down, and when we energize the wires restored power to all outlets that don’t have power. RESOLUTION: run a new line from the panel with a new breaker and set an outlet where the wires are hanging down to restore power to the rest of the outlets in the basement and the outlets outside. Except for one outlet under the stairs that still does not have power Install Tesla charger in garage, brand new circuit to intersect, hanging wires and added outlet to restore power to basement and outside back outlets. Added outlet off same circuit on brick wall centered between window and door for 80 inch TV.

Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
Excellent!

Added outlet in entryway on circuit that has a dual function breaker. Outlet has been tested and is functioning properly..

Checked over all operations for the upstairs system. Blower wheel was dirty, blower capacitor tested good with no issues, duct work is in good shape, drain line is flowing properly. Advised customer there is alto of rust build up falling in the drain line from evaporator coil. Evaporator coil does have a lot of rusting on it. Checked outdoor unit, outdoor capacitor was testing weak, condenser coils are dirty, contactor is very pitted. Recommended new capacitor, contactor, Uv light, condenser coil cleaning, blower wheel cleaning, inline float switch and evaporator coil for system. Customer would like for me to follow up on capacitor, contactor and condenser coil cleaning tomorrow. Wants better price for capacitor. Customer declined Uv light, blower wheel cleaning and in line float switch at this time. Refrigerant

Today I worked on troubleshooting a light circuit that had went out. We ended up installing a light and a dimmer switch.

Homeowner had us saw today because the system is not cooling properly. Upon arrival, homeowner informed us that the system is unresponsive and will not cool at all. The system is from 2020 and it is a heat pump. We noticed that there is a lot of biological growth on the inside of the unit. We also noticed that the ECM motor has failed and will need to be replaced. The system still has a warranty until Sept 2025. We checked the outdoor unit and noticed that the 70/5 capacitor is almost out of range and would recommend replacement. We also noticed that the indoor system has no flood protection.

The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today.
Benjamin was knowledgeable, timely, and quick. Would definitely use this company again.

Fan install

Changed out two outlets in the living room. When I pulled one outlet out on the outside wall the neutral wire broke. When I pulled the other outlet out The neutral wire had burned up along with the two hots as well. I recommended that we install an arc fault breaker on the circuit.

Troubleshoot on tripping master bedroom arc fault breaker, found issue with the toilet light fixture, neutral wire was pinched and sliced by the ground yoke and was making intermittent contact. Replaced with keyless fixture

first floor system is not heating properly. Upon arrival we noticed that it is currently 58° inside the home. system has not been heating correctly for the last 3+ weeks. We checked the system in the attic and noticed some biological growth on the inside of the system, along with the second floor as well. We went out to check the outdoor system and noticed that the system was not starting due to a failed capacitor. We also noticed that the contactor was very worn out. Refrigerant pressures were within manufacturer specifications however we did notice that the evaporator coil was rusted and will leak at a certain point. After Natasha approved to have all repairs done we tested system and both systems are heating at time of departure.

Electrical inspection, sending out hvac guy to speak with customer. Left estimates for future electrical updates

Troubleshoot microwave circuit

Upon arrival customer stated system not keeping up with set temperatures in home. After tech diagnosed full system, tech found dirty blower wheel, dirty filters x2 14x20x1, no flood protection safety switch at air handler, biological growth inside system and around blower motor, this can cause electrical short in motor, tech also noticed equipment is Mitch-match this can also lead to future issues, outdoor voltage components will soon need replacement. Overall system needs to be preventive maintenanced twice a year to prevent premature part failure. System is operating at this time of diagnostic. Thanks for choosing TE Certified if you liked your technician service today don’t hesitate to leave a 5 star review!
