Came out to a no cool on a Lennox R410A system. After completing a full diagnostic evaluation, we found that the system is severely low on refrigerant. The indoor evaporator coil and filter are both clean, and the condenser coils are clean as well, helping rule out major airflow restrictions as the primary cause of failure. However, the blower wheel does have light dirt buildup that can slightly reduce airflow and efficiency. During testing, the system showed weak indoor cooling capacity along with extremely high compressor amp draw, indicating the compressor is straining due to the low refrigerant condition. Refrigerant readings were far outside manufacturer specifications, with very high superheat and negative subcooling, confirming that the evaporator coil is starving for refrigerant and operating below freezing temperatures. This condition will cause the evaporator coil to freeze over and can eventually damage the compressor if left operating. The outdoor capacitor tested within

As we arrived today Sherina explain to us that she had front porch lights that were very dim and that she needed an upstairs soothing fan replaced in her master bedroom. After doing a troubleshoot on the front porch lights, we found that the front porch light bulbs were defective. We replaced those and everything worked properly again. We went upstairs in the master bedroom and removed the existing ceiling fan and replaced it with a new customer supplied ceiling fan. Once all connections were made the ceiling fan also worked properly. Sherina also talk to us about installing some ring, floodlight cameras on the front and back of her house. I’ve attached an estimate for those lights to be installed along with the new front porch lights. It was great meeting both of you today! If you have any questions about the estimates or need anything else, please feel free to give me a call anytime. Thank you, Brandon and Nylan

As we arrived today, Jonathan explained to me that he’s outside GFI on the front porch and the receipt were right behind it in the stairway we’re not working. After removing receptacles and switches in all of the adjoining rooms on the same floor, downstairs and upstairs, we cannot find the wire feeding power to these two particular receptacles. We put a toner generator on the wire and found a place in between the box in the stairway and the receptacle outside, but it was covered by sheet rock. We checked all the electrical panels and every wire leaving the electrical panel had power on it. After talking with Jonathan, he decided to run power from the existing switches by the door down to the receptacles. Once that was done, power was restored to both receptacles. I also talked to Jonathan about surge protectors. I’ve attached an estimate for that. It was great meeting you today, Jonathan! If you have a question about the estimates or need anything else, please feel free to give me

Came out to a no cool on a 2021 Carrier R-410A heat pump system. Upon diagnosing the system, I found that the indoor unit had frozen over at the evaporator coil due to a completely restricted air filter, which was causing severe airflow restrictions throughout the system. During the inspection, I also found that the home is undersized on return airflow. The home currently has approximately 1,700 CFM of return air but should have closer to 2,200 CFM based on the square footage and system requirements. In addition, there are no return air vents in the bedrooms. This can lead to comfort issues throughout the home because hot air is not being properly pulled out of those rooms, causing uneven temperatures and reduced system efficiency. The outdoor unit was inspected and found to be operating fairly well at this time. The contactor tested within manufacturer specifications, ohming at 16.1. The capacitor is rated for 70/5 and is currently reading 66.3/4.9, showing signs of weakening and be

Came out today due to the main floor system not cooling. Upon arrival found the system completely froze up. Customer is in the process of purchasing the home and is currently living in the home until Wednesday when she closes. Customer stated that she would like to have somebody come out to quote replacement of the system. Also, customer elected to have a little bit of refrigerant put into the system to get by until she can replace it. Customer is aware that upon replacing the system within 30 days of today the total for today will be reimbursed back off of the cell of a complete system. Install 3 pounds of refrigerant. At this time did not perform a leak search due to. I was previously out here in August under a different owner and added 2 pounds of refrigerant. At this time system is cooling. There is no warranty for repair for today. Customer is aware that this is a Band-Aid temporary fix to get by. This is the only system in the home besides mini split for sunroom.

Came out for water leaking out of hvac system. System is 2010 Lennox Heat Pump for downstairs. System has pan switch but no other flood protection. Found system low on charge and has been freezing up and thawing out. Also customer let me know condensate line has a history of drain issues. Currently does not have clean out access or a vent. Also found weak indoor and outdoor capacitors. Main recommendation is to have Install Supervisor come out to discuss new system options due to age and condition of current equipment. As for repair, recommend leak search to find bad parts then quote to replace. Also left quote to top off system incase they want to go that route. Customer will hold off on all recommendations for now. System currently not cooling properly

Came out today to perform one system HVAC service call. Upon arrival, customer stated that their system was not blowing cool air, and that the outdoor system was not coming on. Upon inspection of the system found that the thermostats were not programmed properly, also found low volt wires in the outdoor unit to be chewed up, the disconnect outside was melted, the condenser coil was very dirty, the blower wheel an indoor coil were very dirty as well, the blower capacitor and outdoor capacitor were both out of range, the contactor was burnt and pitted, and the drain line was very dirty and clogged up. Upon speaking with customer, customer elected to go with the Band-Aid option Just to get the system back up and running and will address all other issues on a later date. At this time system is up and running and see estimates for any further concerns.

Customer had us out today because her system wasn’t cooling. System is a Lennox air handler and heat pump, system is 1 years old new construction. Upon inspection found that the system was in high pressure lockout. Reset system and system came on properly in cool mode. After hooking up gauges found that the system was low on refrigerant. Capacitor and contactor tested good, blower wheel and Evap coil was clean, filter was clean. Customer stated she noticed the AC not working a couple weeks ago, customer also stated that she ran the heat a couple weeks ago. System ran for 2 hours while I was here and no issues occurred. Believe the system went into high pressure lockout from heat mode. Could not test the system in heat mode to verify because of the temperature outside. Will need to test heating when it is cooler outside. Customer agreed to get the system back to correct charge, let customer know that I did not believe there was a leak but there may be one. System is cooling properly at
