Customers, kitchen sink was backing up on both sides, first I attempted to run my cable and after testing, the blockage wasn’t cleared and water started backing up, I ran my Hydro Jetter down the kitchen drain and was getting grease chunks back after running. The Hydro Jetter grease was cleared and the drain was back draining normally with no leaks. Customer said that she will buy a bottle of enzymes to pour down the sink from Home Depot.

Installed customer supplied kitchen sink faucet also installed new stops for that faucet then went out to the patio area and repaired three different waterline leaks two underneath on a three-quarter inch waterline one underneath the sink outside on the hot side. Also replace the straight stop tested no leaks as of right now. Did advise customer that pressure is too high and needs a new pressure reducing valve. Customer declined at this time.

SERVICE CALL: upon arrival homeowner stated the hvac system is not Cooling properly the house. After complete troubleshooting I found the 12 inches metal collar is broken completely from the fiberglass supply plenum that part of ductwork is metal and flexible union is extremely heavy And the fiberglass plenums can’t hold that weight . Test gas furnace amana Is ok is 2 years old no extra safety switches to prevent water damage. Test outdoor condenser unit Rheem 3 ton capacity 18 years old r 22 refrigerant type which is no longer available test condenser is in poor maintenance conditions the condenser coil is highly impacted plus refrigerant pressures are low and this condition will ice up the system and Can create water damage inside the house. Ac and coil already past life expectancy from manufacture which are 10 to 12 years . Due to aged and Conditions of the equipment I recommend to upgrade AC AND COIL PLUS NEW METAL PLENUMS AND SAFETY SWITCHES AND REPAIR DUCTWORK TO RES

Performed 1 system diagnostic for kitchen unit. Unit is 11 years old 3 ton Trane unit . Found failed dual capacitor, failed compressor, dirty blower, no wet switch Recommendations. Unit is also close to the wall and in a barely serviceable area. Will need to relocate unit forward . Due to age of system and cost of repairs customer is interested in estimate for replacement. Customer is not interested in diakin fit would prefer Rheem or Goodman options. System is non operational at this time. Disconnect outside is off. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

My two HVAC systems needed several repairs to extend the life of the systems. One service recommended by my service man was to have a leak test because the Freon was a little low in one air conditioning unit. However, once he discovered that the unit needed only 1 lb of Freon, he didn’t think there was a leak. He suggested we wait until my next semi-annual inspection to see whether the Freon was low again before testing. That saved me $800, so I really appreciated his honesty. As always, I’m highly satisfied with TE Certified.
