For this job, I worked on wiring a basement

Install Goodman 3.5 ton 14 seer2 single stage air conditioner all aluminum cased evaporator coil, 80% efficient 80,000 BTU single gas furnace with ecobee thermostat for main floor in basement.

I re wire and replace three metal boxes for outdoor landscape lights 120, I also ran a ground to the exterior outlet and flood that had no ground onto it. We install this circuit on a ground fault breaker.

Replaced filter. Cleaned drain, panel, flame sensor and inducer port. Cleaned condenser coil. Checked all operations. System can fail at anytime because of bad capacitors. Put blower speed in high for cool mode. Adjusted grills. Bedrooms are cooler, but this might not be enough. Next option is duct repair or dampers to push more air to bedroom. Home owner rents out bedrooms. Not interested in IAQ at this time.

Run new thermostat wire for downstairs thermostat to air handler

We re do connections for backyard landscape lights, three with new metal boxes and two where grounded and re connect, we will be back Thursday for more additional work to be completed.

Remove and install two toilets

We have power going to the receiver for the fan remote which means the fan remote receiver is bad. We can replace the whole fan assembly

Customer needs some items from the home inspection fixed

Installed customer supplied kitchen faucet. All work was tested and documented with pictures.

No cool call for upstairs unit. Dual capacitor failed and the condenser coil was dirty. Replaced dual capacitor and contactor. Washed condenser coil. Cleaned drain and checked temperatures and pressures. Homeowner only wanted a bandaid today.

Customer had back up in floor drain. Tested all fixtures and found no indication of a blockage at this time. Provided bottle of Endure for maintenance.

No cool for basement unit. Unit is a Unico, high velocity small ductwork. Homeowner wanted a second opinion, previous company said evaporator coil was leaking. I only found the shrader valve leaking after checking both indoor and outdoor unit. Replaced valve core and added 2.5 lbs of refrigerant. CANNOT WARRANTY BANDAID DUE TO HIGH STATIC PRESSURE. Static pressure was 2.3 inWC. Homeowner said it has always worked so he went with the bandaid fix. I offered him a free quote to add ducts and/or replace system.

Customer called me out to unclog his master bathroom toilet. Upon inspection the toilet looked clogged. I ran water and tested for a mainline backup which there were no signs of. Used auger to resolve blockage. Customer satisfied

Replaced leaking shower cartridge

Ceiling fan isn’t working. Perform a troubleshoot to see why the fan isn’t working and make the appropriate repairs to get it back up and running.

Pull both toilets to run mini hydro jetter through to clear built up tissue blockage Pulled toilet in the hallway and toilet in master bath. Ran mini jetter in both toilets. At the end of my cable I brought back red dirt, indicating some sort of separation In the sewer line. There’s no active blockage at moment, ran shower and flush toilets, food flow in outside cleanout. Sewer supervisor scheduled to come out for permanent solution.

Full system swap out and duct replacement

Install DAIKIN fit 3 ton 16.6 seer2 efficiency air conditioner, all aluminum evaporator coil, air handler with 10KW heat strip wi-fi touchscreen thermostat in crawl space with all ductwork.

Install new basket strainer at kitchen sink

Install air admittance valve on drain to downstairs bathroom sink to protect trap seal causing sewer gas smell. Replace pressure reducing valve to whole home.

Qc visit for generator

The customer had a toilet that was running, a faucet with the handle installed sideways, and a water heater that was eight years old and unmaintained. I installed a new fill valve and flapper in the downstairs hall bathroom toilet, I flushed the water heater, and informed the customer that the cartridge they installed on the cold side of the faucet was a hot side cartridge. there’s no warranty on the work to do the thermal expansion tank being full of water, allowing thermal expansion to damage the plumbing.

3 system homecare complete. Mini split- everything is working well. Main floor- getting a quote to replace system. System is a 2003 and the evaporator coil is becoming restricted. Sun room- replaced thermostat, dual capacitor, and contactor.
