Replace bad fixtures

Performed a comprehensive electrical home inspection to evaluate the existing electrical system, identify areas requiring attention, and discuss recommended improvements. Following the inspection, provided the customer with multiple repair and upgrade options, including pricing and scope of work for the recommended electrical improvements. Reviewed the proposed options with the customer to help determine the appropriate course of action.

Water heater had a failed lower element, we performed a rebuild, which included upper and lower thermostats and elements. I tested my work thoroughly and for proper function

Today we completed an install of a tankless water heater. We swapped out the old power-vent with a new Navien 240A2. Ran a new dedicated gas line and pressure tested. Ran a new 2” exhaust and utilized existing pvc for the intake. Installed a new home shutoff valve, condensate pump, and reworked hot, cold, and T&P lines. Painted gas work, sealed penetrations, and tested the unit. Homeowner is happy. Inspection scheduled for Thursday October 1st. We ran into an issue with the spring check on the cold side making too much noise during hot water usage. Since I did not have any on my truck, we will return tomorrow to replace it with a new one. Notified customer and management. Liberty Utilities is in the works for a high flow meter replacement, I will notify customer with any updates. Water pressure is at 63 PSI. Ran troubleshoot tests on 50 gallon electric water heater with testing upper thermostat and both top and bottom elements with multimeter. All test and readings came back perfectly fine with no signs of issues. Reset water heater and allowed to reheat two times after lowering temperature and found there to be no issues at all. Customer will keep us updated if ECO trips again. After thoroughly running test on 50 gallon electric water heater we have indicated that this issue might have happened due to top and lower thermostat being raised to about 135°F.

Troubleshoot and inspect wiring for charger

Removed and replaced two existing outdoor GFCI receptacles with new GFCI outlets and tested for proper operation. The homeowner elected to keep the existing weatherproof bubble covers in place rather than replacing them. Removed the existing garage light fixture and installed the customer-supplied replacement light fixture. The fixture was connected to the existing wiring and tested for proper operation. Removed the existing under-cabinet light fixture located above the kitchen sink and installed the customer-supplied replacement light fixture. The new fixture was connected to the existing wiring and tested for proper operation. All work was completed using the existing electrical locations and wiring where applicable. Work areas were left clean and in service upon completion.

The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today.

Installed brand new garbage disposal

Ev charger deal, install wiring and charger within one stud bay of panel. Install customer supplied charger Install breaker on circuit. Drywall damage may need to occur to get wiring to location due to panel framed out from wall. Troubleshoot sunroom not working. Troubleshoot as courtesy with replacement outlet.

Today I replaced two existing ceiling fans with new homeowner provided ones. I also replaced 4 mismatched breakers for the correct brand and we installed surge protection today as well.

Performed a thorough walkthrough of the home and reviewed the available home inspection report to identify and address electrical items requiring repair or correction. Inspected the areas referenced in the report and evaluated the condition and operation of the affected electrical devices. Removed and replaced four defective GFCI receptacles/devices that were not functioning properly. Tested the replacement GFCI devices to verify proper operation and protection after installation. Replaced the light bulb in the master bathroom as a courtesy to the homeowner at no additional charge. Investigated an outlet that was identified as having an open-ground condition. Traced the circuit and determined that the grounding conductor had been cut and was not providing a proper equipment grounding path to the outlet. Due to the existing wiring condition, a GFCI device was installed at the affected outlet to provide the required ground-fault protection. The outlet was also properly labeled “No Grou

Arrived for today’s appointment. System was not getting 240 to the outdoor condenser at the unit. Ants around Contactor after I inspected the Contactor it started working like normal. System started running just how it was the day before. Noticed a dirty blower wheel, bad blower capacitor, improper condensate drain line, rusted evaporator, and no drain pan as well. Homeowner decided to just leave the system as it is for now and paid for diagnostics.

Perform residential drain cleaning with cable machine through the floor drain. Clear drain only. Does not include repairs or main line clearing. No warranty on drain cleaning. Upon arrival we met with the customer and was directed to the basement utility room. We completed a floor drain clearing. Tested for proper flow and poured a capful of endure. Poured another bucket of water down the drain to ensure proper flow. No errors at this time.

For this job, we worked on troubleshooting the stove circuit and replaced a defective breaker.

Water company notified customer that she has a leak somewhere. Water bill was $900. Found that main water line coming into the crawlspace was 1/2”, had no PRV, and no way to cut off the house. Installed ball valve to be able to isolate home from water service coming to the home. Found that water leak was in fact in the yard while new main water shutoff was off and meter was on. Recommended they call National Leak Detection to identify where the leak is as there are no visual indications of a leak anywhere in yard. Left estimate to repipe whole home as well as install new water heater.

Removed existing gas line for stove. Capped off gas line and tested work for leaks. Spray painted gas meter as a courtesy at no charge.

Install new wafer led light in place of dome light in master bathroom water closet.

Cast iron was leaking from main floor hallway toilet. Cut out Sheetrock in basement hallway bathroom ceiling to access necessary drains. Removed old toilet from flange. Cut out 4” cast iron to next hub and 2” cast iron before it catches shower drain. Removed old cast iron toilet flange and riser. Repaired drain up to toilet. Stubbed up 4” for toilet/flange. Lowers of water damage was observed to be on subfloor. Advised Derrick to take a look at it when he gets home from his flight and recommended Property Medics if they deem that more substantial repairs are needed for subfloor. Left quote to come finish the toilet when it was decided if they want to do it before or after remediation.

Install new outlet for range

Installed 28 customer-supplied circuit breakers in the main electrical panel. Replaced one mismatched breaker with a properly matched breaker to ensure compatibility with the existing panel. All work was completed as part of the breaker installation and replacement service.

Install ceiling fan rated box and reinstall existing ceiling fan at front bedroom location. Tested fan after installation and everything works as intended. Much more secure installation using proper fan rated box and machine screws instead of existing Sheetrock screws.

I performed a troubleshoot on a ring doorbell that stopped working after a recent storm. They have one ground rod at the meter and no surge protection in the home. I tested the wiring and connections at the breaker and the doorbell. When the wires are touched directly they ring the chime. A test doorbell was hooked up and worked properly so the doorbell is damaged and needs replacement. I left estimates to replace the doorbell with a new one when the homeowners get one, and we installed surge protection today at the panel. Estimates were left to install a new door bell as well as to add another ground rod to the existing meter. There was one breaker that was labeled as 240 volt circuit that I left off. It is currently hooked up to a 50 amp breaker with two different 12/2 homeruns attached to it. I informed the homeowner of the dangers of this and we tried going around the house to locate the circuit but was unable to do so. We left it off so that way she could try and determine where i
