Diagnostic for main system. Outdoor fan was not running, low voltage wiring was not protected. Dirty condenser coil, filter and blower motor. Burned heat kit wiring, uninsulated lineset. Compressor is showing signs of failure. Burned and pitted contactor. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

After leak search was located by national leak detection, we returned to dig down, locate main water service burst on 3/4 HDPE, cut out section and made repair.

Remove old ejector pump me install new ejector pump Customer called us out because they were experiencing a failing ejector pump, float mechanism was not working anymore, causing basement fixtures to back up. for this job, I came to look at a system that was not cooling due to the pan getting full of water. After a proper diagnosis, I was able to determine that the drain line was completely clogged, and the P-trap was incorrectly installed. I proceeded to provide an estimate for the customer to join our care, do a drain line repair and P-trap replacement, and also upgrade his flood protections. He just decided to get the P-trap replaced and the drain repaired. I proceeded to complete that repair properly testing the unit and pouring 2 gallons of water and vinegar down the drain. Performed 1 system inspection for a system that is zoned for the main and upstairs. Found growth on the air handler and plenums, there was no bypass, no te flood protection, blower motor was clean, evap coil was clean,the drain line had improper pitch, the capacitor outside is failing due to the improper duct design and causing the compressor to draw higher amps as well. Recommend raising unit adding a pump and repair drain line pitch as well as adding a smart bypass damper. There is not indoor air quality products and would recommend the uv light, upgraded filter and an ionizer. Customer also interested in adding a new system for the basement level as well. Unit is operational at this time however not efficient. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Replaced post guard filter cartridge.

Returned to install all necessary, water safeties for systems in attic. On the past visit I installed one wet switch for main. Today I installed. One wet switch and two SS2 water safeties. Now both systems in attic have a wet switch and SS2 float switch. Has one April air 213 and one April air 413 filters.

Replace light fixtures for hallway and laundry room, replace hallway bath fan

Today’s visit was for mold upstairs. When I arrived I checked the attic. It is extremely hot and humid in the attic. It has no ventilation and very poor insulation. The unit and ductwork is in the crawlspace. There is nothing in attic at all. Checked the indoor unit. Increased the fan speed. Also I found the filter extremely dirty. Customer approved me replacing it. Replaced the filter. Checked the cooling operation. The pressure checked good at this time. Checked the supply air temp and it was reading 51 degrees. The system is working as it should. I advised the customer to get the attic ventilation correct and get new insulation in the attic and it should help the house cool and maintain temperature. Customer had a soft blockage in the master bathroom toilet he said his wife poured the trash in the mini trashcan in the bathroom down and don’t know what went down exactly, so I’ll try to snake the line and after snake and I was able to clear the blockage I didn’t feel resistance, but after testing the toilet was flushing properly, but after testing multiple times it backed up again, so I snaked it again and after testing multiple times, it did drain without backing up. I let the customer know if it backed up again. I believe it’s something hanging out in the toilet itself. I test the main line and confirmed that it wasn’t a main line issue. Customer said if it is anything in the toilet that he would be able to pull it and replace it himself.

Replace existing hard wired smoke detectors with new ones.

For this job, I came to look at a system in which the downstairs was not receiving airflow. After performing a thorough diagnosis, I was able to determine that both damper motors were intermittently failing. I explained my findings so the customer as well as provided estimates and she agreed on having the damper motors replaced today. I proceeded by removing the damage dampers and properly installing and securing the new ones. I tested to ensure that they were properly opening and closing. Thank you for choosing TE certified.
