I had a mystery electrical problem and Nolan and his assistant did troubleshooting for a long time. Very thorough. And they solved my problem. Thanks!
Came here for a no cool on a 2019 Lennox AC and furnace. Customer pointed out to me that her thermostat was not connecting to the RC port. When I went to investigate the furnace in the attic, I opened up the safety switch that’s on the evaporator drain and it was full. Explain to the customer because her drain line is running flat on the attic floor it most likely was clogged and needs to be repaired. She agreed with the drain line repair for $319. I unclogged and repair the drain line, lifted it up about 4 inches and secured it, so it has a gradual fall. I added pan treatment inside the evaporator drain pan and pour 2 gallons of water to make sure drain line was clear and water was flowing outside. A few things were of concern in the system, the supply box was full of biological growth, dirty blow wheel, dirty, outdoor coil and contactor was pitted. I have sent the estimate to get all this taken care of to the customer’s email. thank you for using TE certified.
2018 Carrier- No Cool Previous technician found main floor system frozen. I arrived today to diagnose the issue now that the system was thawed out. Filter was clean. Refrigerant was low. Found the service ports missing caps and leaks at the Schrader valves. Found that the outdoor fan motor was starting slow due to the capacitor failing. Provided options to the customer chose to add refrigerant, replace capacitor and sign up for HomeCare. I was able to tighten valve cores and stop the leak. New capacitor was installed and refrigerant was added to bring refrigerant levels back to manufacturer specs. Drain was cleared before leaving. Both systems in the attic lack sufficient water safety devices to protect the home. Made customer aware and will email the estimate for review. System is back cooling.

Upon arrival customer stated that ac was not working properly and blowing cold air. Customer showed me how unit would turn on a thermostat by turning fan on and then mode to cool. Performed full evaluation of system, gas furnace is 40 years old, ac and coil is 40 years old. Found that system is having issues with thermostat and control board shorting voltage. By passed thermostat to test system. Found Blower wheel is dirty, inside system is dirty and a lot of rust build up in system, blower motor capacitor is bad, burners are rusted. Flue pipe not up to code. Checked outdoor unit line set is kinked coming out of wall, compressor is cutting out on thermal overload. Outdoor capacitor and contactor are bad, condenser coils ver y dirty, system is not leveled. Disconnect has constant water dripping on it. Started the heat and found that when heat started flames would ignite but blower never turned on, caused the furnace to start smoking. (GAS TO FURNACE HAS BEEN SHUT OFF DUE TO SAFETY HAZAR
This option is to troubleshoot 2 lights not working as intended After doing my troubleshoot, I found that the strip lighting in the kitchen is no longer working. The outlet they were plugged into works fine. The lights themselves have burned out. The bathroom light had a loose wire that popped right out when I undid the fixture so I reconnected it and it works just fine. I redid the connections in the switch box because they were the old style with crimps and tape, and changed the switch to be sure that this didn’t happen again
Went through system programming to make sure settings for Daikin Fit system were correct. System is currently working.
Cut out backyard left side hose bib to remove hose and replace with brand new hose bib supported to home, also cut out corroded copper pitting that was leaking in crawl space to install new fitting. Moved forward with completing major rebuild on master bath toilet as well as replacing straight stop for toilet. Water turned on and all tested to ensure proper function.
Tech diagnosed system and noticed indoor and outdoor coils were completely dirty, this can cause restrictions and keep the system from operating at best efficiency… also noticed a few indoor and outdoor voltage components needing to be replaced soon… Tech left recommendations/ estimates that can help with equipment longevity, equipment protection and homeowners health and safety. Please review email, to respond to any estimates you can do so by email or calling in to reschedule appointments. *Thanks for choosing TE Certified if you liked your technician service today don’t hesitate to leave a 5 star review!

HVAC leak… Our client said he would have his HVAC guy assessed the issue
Whole home surge protection Re-device basement (unfinished) (new outlets and switch switches) Install new dedicated circuit for refrigerator in garage Replace breaker for dryer Install smoke detector for basement level Replace metal boxes Bond grounding system Install updated grounding system GFCI breaker for washing machine Separate neutrals and grounds and install a ground bar
We would use TE certified again if needed. I would also use Austin again. He was great.
I performed a troubleshoot on a garage outlet not working. The outlet was not tied onto the same circuit as the other garage outlet. They had some work done in the rooms above the garage and I was able to determine that the wire powering the garage opener was tied into a jbox that was buried in the wall. We decided to run a new power from a switch above the garage straight to the garage opener. The old power was capped off in the new box. There were 3 outlets upstairs that were incorrectly wired and caused no power to all 3. I redid the taps, and all outlets upstairs are working now. The homeowner elected to reinstall the old devices so we are able to warranty the connections, however we are unable to warranty the devices as we did not provide them. New dual function 15 amp breaker was installed on the extended circuit. Everything was tested and is working properly again.
Toilet leaking from corroded bolts. Removed and replaced the bolts. Filled the toilet and tested. No further leaks.
Replaced existing pullout spray hose for kitchen faucet with new. Unclogged bathroom sink by clearing debris from pop-up assembly. Ran water and tested all work.
Repaired main water line and reconnected to the pvc irrigation valve.
For this job we installed a pump canister with a pump to get any water that collects down in the crawlspace. I picked the lowest spot in the crawlspace to install the can and pump. We dug down about 30 inches to install the canister. We ran about 50 ft of pvc pipe to the exterior of the home where the pump will discharge the water when it kicks on. Tested all work and left work area clean.
Great
Arrived at customers home to address condensating around duct. The leak from condensation is happening from a metal pipe duck for an upstairs vent. The metal ducts running along the ceiling of the basement are all not insulated from the point they enter the wall all the way to their boots. The particular duct that is condensating into the ceiling, does appear to have insulation, but not all the way to the boot. Recommendation would be to cut out a bit of the ceiling in order to expose the end of that duct run as well as the boot and add installation. I would recommend changing all ducts from metal to flex. Customer wanted to insulate area of duct near boot to try and and mitigate leaking in that area near the wall. That section has been insulated and I put up some plastic for the area until the customer can repair it or until they decide to demo the ceiling as a whole.
New dryer outlet.
Replaced hot/cold shut off valve for lavatory faucet in master bathroom.
Found the problem and fixed it in reasonable time.

Jonathan Williams is what every TE technician should strive to be. 💯 *Why he’s exceptional:* - *Punctual* ⏰ Always on time - *Friendly & knowledgeable* 😊🧠 Explains everything clearly - *Thorough* 🔍 Checks what actually needs repair vs. what doesn’t - *Amazing follow-up* 📞 Actually checks back in His biggest strength? He looks at the _whole picture_ + full history to make sure everything’s working in the right order. 🧩 Buying an AC is a huge investment 💸 and Jonathan’s the kind of person who makes sure all the _t’s are crossed and i’s are dotted_ before recommending anything major like a full replacement. I had full confidence in his observations. ✅ I honestly think other technicians should model themselves after him. He should be training people! 🧑🏫 I grabbed his business card because I want him handling my HVAC again. Hands down, thank you Jonathan for being such a great pro to work with! 🙏❄️ *Alternative shorter version if they have a character limit:* Jonathan is the gold standard for TE techs! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Punctual, friendly, super knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough 🔍. He looks at the full system history to get things right the first time 🧩. With a huge investment like an AC, you want someone who crosses every _t_ and dots every _i_ before replacing a unit ✅. Full confidence in his work. He should be training others 🧑🏫. Got his card because I’ll only call him from now on 🙏❄️ Want me to tweak the tone more casual/professional, or add specifics about what he fixed?

I called to have the battery replaced in at least one smoke detector. I am unable to use a ladder, so I needed help. Your company was quick to respond and sent Jose Escobar to perform the work. He was very professional, courteous and understanding of my needs. He efficiently made the battery changes on the units that needed it and helped me to enroll in an annual plan to check all of the smoke detectors. I really enjoyed the manner in which he performed his excellent service.
