For this job I replaced a stop valve that was leaking, originally thought leak was coming through ceiling, opened up a couple of holes to see leak in ceiling and saw it was coming down through the toilet pipe. Cleaned and tested after replacing stop valve.

At arrival on 08/29/25 Found whole home system not cooling. The air handler was running but the condenser was off. After diagnostic found that the 240v disconnect for the condenser was burnt including the whip. The wire going into the Contactor was also burnt. The condenser coil is dirty, the air filter was clogged up. Gave option to replace the disconnect, replace the whip, replace the Contactor, replace the Capacitor, clean the condenser coil. Options approved to address the above issues. Performed work and tested system. System was cooling properly with 1.2 degrees subcool while rated for 10. Added 1lb of refrigerant and brought subcool to 10.4 degrees Additionally, gave option to add a hard start kit, installe a Bluetube UV light. Home owner signed up for Homecare membership. The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Make all repairs necessary to restore the unit to full health and eliminate all other concerns.

Arrived on site to troubleshoot partial power in the home. The homeowner lost power last night and when power was restored only half the house has power. The home is equipped with a whole home generator. When I test the main disconnects, everything had the proper voltage. Once I checked the transfer switches, I noticed one transfer switch did not transfer back to utility power. I manually transferred the power and everything started working as normal. I checked the main electrical panels and noticed the grounds and neutrals are bonded in the main panels. The grounds and neutrals should be separated as this is not the first means of disconnect. I also noticed the home does not have whole home surge protection. The homeowner is having us out to install whole home surge protection and separate grounds and neutrals on 8/20

Return trip to replace union set on the Recirculation Pump. Remove the existing leaking union set and install new union set. Pressurize and put the pump back into service.

Shut off the water to the water heater and recirculation line. Cut into the recirculation line after the pump and install a new ball valve for isolating the pump.

For this job I fixed a leaking water line that ran to water heater, replaced 6 ft section along with a new 3/4 ball valve

Customer called us out for water backing up in tub and laundry drain. Tested and made sure only those branches were affected. Used tub gun to clear laundry drain. Extensively tested and ran multiple loads of water from washer in drain. Customer satisfied.

For this job I replaced kitchen faucet, bought for customer from Home Depot. Tested and cleaned everything well.

Generator install

Replaced the vacuum breaker on the hose bibb at the back of the house. Also replaced the kitchen faucet, toilet fill valve, and flapper in the basement. Also installed a new lift-and-turn stopper and overflow in the upstairs hall bathroom.

Make all repairs necessary to restore the unit to full health and eliminate all other concerns. Upstairs condenser fan motor polarity was reversed. Thermal overload on compressor. Replaced capacitor and condenser fan motor.

Call out for a fracture fault on the main water service located inside the foundation wall causing significant water damage to inside of home. Replaced entire main potable water service from county meter to just inside the home through foundation wall with new pressure regulator and main shut off.

Get power restored

Minimal airflow upstairs. High moisture in crawl space and ductwork is falling apart. Airflow is leaking into crawlspace. Biological growth inside unit. Condensation is just flowing into crawlspace.

Performed 1 system cooling diagnostics: found that the system had a dirty air filter, a refrigerant leak and a refrigerant restriction. The system is no longer covered by the manufacturers warranty. If the homeowner wants the system repaired; a leak search needs to be performed. Once the leak had been found; repair options can be provided (repairs maybe several thousands of dollars (ballpark)). The homeowner has setup a time to get an estimate for a new hvac system.
