Customer sink was cracked and he is having a repair done to the kitchen sink and before the repair is done, they needed the disposal removed, so we ended up removing the disposal. The customer bought a brand new disposal and said whenever the work is done, he will have us come back to install the new disposal so I wrote up an estimate to install a new customer supplied disposal.

For this job we installed a new 30 amp Inlet/Outlet on the back side of the home. Customer already had the wire and the transfer switch installed. We bonded the grounds and neutral in the transfer switch as it was first means of disconnects. Recommend customer to separate the grounds and neutrals in the main panel.

For this job we trouble shot a dishwasher GFCI outlet in kitchen. Found that the GFCI outlet just needed to be reset. We thoroughly did an inspection and checked the wiring on the breaker and pulled the outlet out to see nothing that may have caught our eye. We plugged the dishwasher back in and and ran the dishwasher through multiple cycles and everything seems to be working properly as it should.

Troubleshoot electrical issue. ISSUE: lights flickering throughout house LOCATION: throughout house FINDINGS:upon arrival the issue had stopped occurring. During our troubleshoot we tested for a lost leg of power/neutral by turning off all 240v breakers and running a heavy 120v load of a heat gun. There were no fluctuations of power on either leg when doing so. Upon further investigation I noticed all of the plastic around one lug in the main panel had been melted. I also noticed a splice in the meter can from the power company. I was here for over an hour and was unable to recreate the issue no matter what I tried. With everything I gathered, my thoughts would be there was a loose connection on that one lug that was causing the flickering of lights. And after the 12 hours the issue was occurring, with the heat generated/arc occurring from the loose connection, the wire has become welded to the lug RESOLUTION:without being able to recreate the issue, there was no immediate fix. For this job we installed three customer supplied wooden light fixtures in the sitting area, foyer, and the stairwell. We also installed a dedicated 20 amp circuit in the garage for a work bench outlet for battery chargers. Installed the circuit on a GFCI breaker. We also installed a dedicated 60 amp circuit for a tesla wall connector installed to the right of the main panel. Everything is functioning properly.
