For this job, we worked on replacing an outdoor outlet with a new bubble cover.

Replace two customer supplied smart switches in screen porch area Install floodlight rear of screen porch area

Replaced the toilet and flange in the primary bathroom

Replaced delta shower cartridge in master bathroom.

Performed home care on two systems. Checked all electrical and amperage. Flush and treated drain lines. Added pan tabs and enzymes. Both drain lines tied in at attic and go into washer drain line in a second floor. Changed filters (2) 16×25×1. Cleaned flame sensors. Heaters are operating. Checked evaporator coils and blower wheels. Checked run capacitors. Cleared inducer port. Adjusted gas valve pressures. Checked outdoor units. Check capacitors contractors and pressures. Main floor, no in-line safety no wet switch. Blower wheel has dust buildup. Run capacitor, almost out of manufacture specs. Second floor, no in-line safety no wet switch. Blower wheel has dust buildup. Run capacitor, almost out of manufacture specs. Failed dual capacitor. Customer approved to run capacitors and one dual capacitor replacement. The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today.

TE Provide/Install (1) Wall Unit Circuit/Breaker Installing Whole Home Surge Protection Device New Breaker

Replaced toilet with customer supplied toilet and installed new flange extender to raise to finished floor. No leaks. Sealed toilet with caulking and replaced supply line.

Replaced 50 gallon natural gas water heater with new Rheem. Installed new expansion tank. Replaced Prv and installed new main shut off valve. Turned water on and tested everything. Set pressure to 60 psi

Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting, new outlet.

Today’s visit was to check the mini split the customer recently installed himself. I found the flares would not seal and it has lost all the refrigerant. Gave estimate to repair the system. Customer approved. Cut off old flares. Made new flare connections. Leak tested with nitrogen and it held. Evacuated system down to 458 microns and it held. Charged 2lbs of R32. Monitored system operation. It’s cooling at this time. Thank you for choosing TE CERTIFIED

Dig up at water meter. Remove and replace gate valve with ball valve, and remove tee that connects sprinkler system. Cover hole. No more leaks

New grounding system, new kitchen, outlets, and plates, separated the kitchen circuits, and added arc fall and ground fall protection, added a surge protector, and reduced two oversized breakers.

Completed a redevice of the kitchen counter outlets, separated the two kitchen circuits that were originally sharing a 20 amp breaker with two dual function breakers. Replaced two oversized 60 amp breakers with the appropriate 30 amp breaker sizes. Installed a new grounding system with two ground rods, a new ground bridge, jumped the PRV, the water heater, and the water filter. Installed a surge protector with a flush mount kit.

Inspected x2 comfortmaker furnaces located in attic which services upstairs and main floor. Inspected thermostats. Inspected electrical terminals and wiring. Inspected amperage on all motors. Inspected ductwork for proper sizing and damages. Inspected coil and filter cleanliness. Inspected operating refrigerant pressures/levels. Customer says a surge due to a lightning strike hit home. Found faulty smart gas valves and combustion motors on both furnaces. Circuit boards are not operating on heating side. Blower motors are over amping needing to be replaced. On AC’s found compressors and condenser fan motors over amping. Compressors and fan motors need to be replaced. Starting components need to be replaced from being out of manufacture tolerance. Due to equipment being over 20 years old parts may no longer be manufactured. Recommended systems be upgraded to new equipment. System are operating but not to manufacture specifications. Estimates will be sent via email.

Lightning inspection

For this job, we worked on installing a customer provided light fixture in the kitchen.

Replace garage gfci

Tech diagnosed full complete system… tech noticed indoor blower motor and model failed and potential furnace control board… Also there are other major repairs needed at the indoor unit… homeowners stated they are having a rebate company come out tomorrow to see if they can get any funds to upgrade full system then they will call us back to move forward with full system upgrade… Tech left recommendations/ estimates that can help with equipment longevity, equipment protection and homeowners health and safety. Cleared blockage in kitchen sink with flexshaft. Found evidence of grease in the line, drain is flowing as of now. Suggested hydrojetting but customer did not wish to proceed at this time.

Customer approved to replace low voltage wire and contactor. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. Tuesday next week 2-5. Thank you for choosing te certified.

Outlets not working in the garage

Arrived spoke with customer. System not cooling. Checked indoor unit. Checked all electrical and amperage. Run capacitor, good. Dirty blower wheel. No bypass damper for zone system. Short CFM on return and supply. Checked outdoor unit. Capacitor is good. Cycle system on. Compressor not turning on. Installed hard start. Compressor will turn on for about 10 seconds then shut off on OL. Failed the compressor. Dirty condenser coil. Recommend system replacement. If customer goes with repair option or system replacement will credit $98 towards repairs.
