Testing system for upstairs level not heating. Found that the gas valve was turned off. Tested the system with CO detector and found CO coming from the vent while the system was running. I found that the system has cracks in the heat exchanger. Found this to be due to a lack of return error installed on the system. This unit requires 1000 CFM of return and currently only has 780 CFM’s.

Inducer motor is rusting out and blocking pressure check port. Inducer motor is no longer available for this furnace so repair is not a viable option. Discussed replacing furnace with homeowner. They are moving to Tennessee and almost moved out. Looking to just replace furnace. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Inspected sprinkler system for leaks. Found 3 zone control valves leaking, causing meter to steadily spin creating high water bill Customer had tried to close the water valve to the sprinkler system but could not get it shut off completely Got the valve to shut off and meter stopped spinning, no more leaks on system Left estimates for sprinkler repairs Found PRV bad with 115 psi and water heater is 11 years old Removed and replaced PRV and main shut off inside home. Customer declined water heater replacement at this time Left estimates for heater replacement

Tech completed a service call on a single stage 2zone system. Tech noticed flood protection not up to code, zone system not compatible with single stage equipment, noticed filtration needs upgrading, blower wheel cleaning, biological growth at back of furnace supply plenum. Tech left recommendations/ estimates with home owner to better help protect and prolong life of equipment. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. Upon arrival system was not heating. Found inducer motor failing and pressure switch failed. Condensation pump motor failing and build up clogging pump. Condensate pump vinyl tubing failing all the way to termination point outside. 20 yr old system with refrigerant levels very low on an R22 system. Outside condenser unit has corroded coil fins and bad contactor. System is currently not heating. Recommend complete system replacement.

System not heating and has a blown fuse for the main level. Found a short coming from the gas valve and has also shorted control board. The inducer motor is over amp as well. Lots of dust/dirt buildup inside the blower section. Inspected the heat exchanger and found major cracks . Inform the customer that this furnace is not safe to run at this time. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Pull toilet and attempt to clear blockage. House is on a septic system. We Attempted to clear mainline blockage. Pulled toilet in hallway bathroom, ran k400 cable. After many attempts we could not clear blockage. I kept hitting a hard stop in the line, We only pulled back some wet wipes and feminine hygiene products. Recommended customer calls out septic company to evaluate septic tank integrity. If septic tank is fine, customer will call us back and we’ll scheduled a camera inspection to figure out where blockage is at. Set toilet on new wax ring. House still has active blockage.

Found irrigation tie in leaking. Cut out the tie in as homeowner stated that his irrigation hasn't been used in years and partially destroyed. Installed new meter adapter, dual check and shut off with box. Put dirt back and beautified surroundings.
