Performed diagnostic onn12yr old Goodman unit, upon arrival customer stated unit stop cooling, checked tstst, cycled to ac mode, went in attic to inspect furnace, noticed flu vent is rusted and cracked in several places, recommend replacing for safety hazards, recommend replacing filter, last changed 7/2025, blower wheel heavily impacted, recommend pulling and cleaning, blower capacitor bad, recommend replacing blower capacitor, system has no flood protection, recommend flood protection to prevent ceiling damage from water, inspected outdoor unit, found not running, just making humming sound, condenser coil heavily impacted, recommend chemical cleaning, checked contactor, capacitor, found failed capacitor, replaced to continue diagnostic, installed new capacitor unit started up, checked amp draws, compressor is over amping, recommended hard start kit, let unit run for 20min for pressure to stabilize, unit could be possibly low on refrigerant due to pressure reading and only getting a 1

Called out for toilet handle broken gave estimate to do minor rebuild. Customer agreed installed new fill valve flapper supply line and then installed handle and toilet seat as a courtesy tested no leaks everything working properly at this time.

Gave estimates to stop out new waterline and drain line for kitchen sink for outside patio

Came out today to complete approved estimate. Upon arrival customer stated that he only wanted to proceed with the bandaid repairs at this time. Changed indoor txv, contactor and capacitor for outdoor unit. Upon completion test all functions of the system and found everything is now working. Still recommend the necessary maintenance on the system. Leaving the system dirty creates more stress on the system which can lead to future breakdowns and higher energy bills. Came out today to complete one system HVAC service call. Upon arrival, customer stated that the upstairs system was not cooling. Perform full system diagnostic and found that the outdoor system was not coming on. This is due to the outdoor capacitor had failed due to the indoor thermal expansion valve is flooding the compressor, causing the system to put a lot of strain on the compressor. At this time system is very dirty on the indoor and outdoor. At this time, customer approved option B and the parts are not available until Monday morning. At this time left system running temporarily to give some relief. Upon completion customer I also asked me to take a look at the downstairs system. The downstairs system is a Goodman air handler paired with a carrier heat pump from 2010. This system is r 22 refrigerant and is completely out. At this time, customer would like to receive a quote to update the basement system and repair the main floor floor system.
