Gave estimates to stop out new waterline and drain line for kitchen sink for outside patio

Came out today to complete approved estimate. Upon arrival customer stated that he only wanted to proceed with the bandaid repairs at this time. Changed indoor txv, contactor and capacitor for outdoor unit. Upon completion test all functions of the system and found everything is now working. Still recommend the necessary maintenance on the system. Leaving the system dirty creates more stress on the system which can lead to future breakdowns and higher energy bills. At this time see estimates for any further concerns

Came out today to complete one system HVAC service call. Upon arrival, customer stated that the upstairs system was not cooling. Perform full system diagnostic and found that the outdoor system was not coming on. This is due to the outdoor capacitor had failed due to the indoor thermal expansion valve is flooding the compressor, causing the system to put a lot of strain on the compressor. At this time system is very dirty on the indoor and outdoor. At this time, customer approved option B and the parts are not available until Monday morning. At this time left system running temporarily to give some relief. Upon completion customer I also asked me to take a look at the downstairs system. The downstairs system is a Goodman air handler paired with a carrier heat pump from 2010. This system is r 22 refrigerant and is completely out. At this time, customer would like to receive a quote to update the basement system and repair the main floor floor system.

Upon inspection found gas furnace Goodman from 2002, AC that was our 22 Goodman from 2010, and the indoor coil was from 2021. Upon turning on the thermostat, found the outdoor system not coming on. Performed full system diagnostic and found on the outdoor system The capacitor was completely bad, it is r22 refrigerant which is obsolete, the contactor is burnt and pitted, the compressor with a new capacitor was pulling Max amps, the condenser coil was very compacted, causing refrigerant pressures to be too high, upon inspection of the indoor system found the indoor blower motor very compacted, the blower capacitor had failed, there is no TE standard flood protection, the indoor heat exchanger has major rust, the indoor blower motor is pulling high amps, there are several rooms that are not cooling or heating properly this is more than likely due to a duct issue. No Cool Diagnostic Summary Came out to a no cool call on a 2019 R-410A Rheem heat pump system. After performing a complete diagnostic evaluation, I found multiple issues affecting system performance, airflow, and efficiency. The primary concern is a severe lack of return air. The system is currently attempting to serve approximately 1,800 square feet with a single return located in the closet with the furnace. The existing return plenum is a field-built design utilizing a 20x20 return grille, which does not provide adequate airflow for the home’s cooling demands. Insufficient return air causes the system to operate under high static pressure, reducing efficiency and placing additional strain on the blower motor and compressor. During the inspection, I found two filters stacked together inside the system. This further restricted airflow and contributed to excessive static pressure.
