Came out to complete one system HVAC no cool service call. Upon arrival, customer stated that the main floor/downstairs system was not coming on. On today’s visit customer approved full system diagnostic. Upon inspection of the system, found a carrier 45k BTU gas furnace paired with a 2 ton Straight AC from 2017. Upon inspection of this system found thermostat would reset every time the AC tried to come on. At this time system had a bad contactor on the 24 V coil. Upon replacing the contactor, perform thorough evaluation of system and found system was low on 14 a refrigerant, the capacitor was just hanging and not strapped up, the compressor on startup was pulling right at Max amps, the fan motor is working properly. Upon inspection of the indoor system found no TE standard flood protection, the blower will had minimal buildup, the drain line came straight out of of the system and ran in the wall where is no longer visible, all ductwork is in good condition. Unit is completely frozen need to return customer did not want to thaw Came out today to perform one system HVAC no cool service call. Upon arrival found outdoor system disconnected in the off position due to previous tech turned it off so the system could thaw out. Customer stated that another person came and put Freon in the system just the other day. Upon inspection of the system found refrigerant low on Freon, the back zone damper was getting hung up and very hard to open, there is no bypass on the system, which is a pressure leak valve 1 oh one zone is calling, these dampers are not intended to work under these higher pressures. At this time, customer is aware there is more than likely a leak in the system due to the refrigerant keeps dissipating out of the system. Customer is aware that a refrigeration system is a sealed system and if you keep adding a refrigerant to the system, there is a leak. Customer is also aware to leak has started. It will only get larger. At this time a

Upon arrival, I found that there was water gushing out of the warehouse. Coming from behind the office I found that there was a CPBC line that had split into two and no way to shut it off inside the building. I shut off the main city shut off and replaced the affected pipe and ran a new shut off and hose bib in order to complete the job. Customer is very happy with the completed project. No leaks all work was tested.

Customer called to have gas utility inspected of home. TE arrived and found that gas is turned off and locked at meter. Prepped area at gas meter for gas pressure testing. Cut into 1in nipple after meter and set up gas pressure gauge. Capped off lines and turned off valves to fixtures/appliances. Pressured gas lines with air to 15psi for 10 minutes. Pressure dropped by 3psi within 10 minutes. Located two leaks. First leak is at a 3/4,1/2,1/2 inch Tee and before a shut off valve at water heater. Cut out 6in nipple after 3/4,1/2,1/2 tee and removed a coupling. Furnished and installed a new union and 6in nipple. Removed 1/2in gas shut off valve and piped in an elbow with a 3in nipple. Reinstalled gas shut off valve. Conducted gas pressure test on system for 15 minutes at 15psi. Pressure did not drop and tested new connections with a solution. No signs of a leak. Gas system in home is safe to be turned on.

Arrived on site and met with the homeowner, who directed me to the second-floor master bathroom. The homeowner reported that the Roman tub was leaking whenever the tub valves were turned on. After inspecting the tub, I explained that access to the valve assembly would require cutting an opening in the interior of the Roman tub. The homeowner approved the work. I carefully cut an approximately 6” x 6” access opening to expose the valve assembly. Once access was gained, I identified an active leak at the copper corrugated supply line connected to the Roman tub valve. The existing line is not repairable and will require replacement. The homeowner was informed of the findings and the necessary repair. A return visit is scheduled for tomorrow to replace the defective tub valve/connection with a new Delta tub valve and complete the repair.

For this job, customer said that half of the room lost power again check the outlet in which I did work on last time. All connections were good, but no power was getting to the outlet. I checked the outlet down the line and realized there was a bad connection at that outlet so I redid the connections and put in a new outlet and now everything is working properly.

Mike was a great technician — very informative, professional, and honest throughout the whole process. He made us feel comfortable, like a friend or uncle stopping by to help rather than someone just trying to sell us services. What I appreciated most was that he never pressured us into unnecessary repairs or extra charges. He explained everything clearly, gave us our options, and left all the final decisions up to us. It’s hard to find that kind of honesty and customer service these days. Highly recommend!
