Found that the upstairs hall bath toilet is sitting up too high off the floor due to an improperly installed toilet flange, pulled toilet, cut out and replace toilet flange, installed new wax seal, bolts, and reset toilet caulking around base. Flush toilet several times and everything is working properly with no leak leaks..

Troubleshoot issue only

Came out today to perform two system HVAC home care. Upon arrival, customer stated that both systems have been working properly. Upon visual inspection found the main floor system is from 2026, and the upstairs system is from 2006. Final inspection of the downstairs system found all systems to be clean and operations to be normal. At this time, replaced one April air model 413 filter for the main floor system. Also for the main floor system recommend adding UV protection over the system. On inspection of the upstairs system found the outdoor condenser coil to be very brittle and falling apart, the cap capacitor for the system is weak, on startup the compressor is over amping, the drain line runs flat across the attic floor, there is no TE standard flood protection, there is currently biological growth inside of the system, the blower wheel is dirty, the Eva coil is dirty, replaced one 16 x 20 x 1 filter, informed customer that this is a R 22 system and R 22 is no longer manufacture.

Called out for sewage, ejector pump not working properly found out that the float was not working, but the pump was gave estimate to replace the pump. Customer agreed I cut out removed and replaced the old pump with a new pump tested everything‘s working no leaks at this time.

Arrived at customers home to perform no cool. Upon arrival I found that the condenser was not operating while the indoor unit was on and calling for cool. I then opened up the unit to check capacitor and contactor and found the contactor was not pulled in. I then checked the wires going into the contactor found that there was no voltage being applied and then went to the air handler to see if a signal was being sent and found that there was also no voltage from y to c. So that led me to then go and check the thermostat where I found the Y wire was not seated in the terminal. I stripped a bit of the wire back since there was not enough copper exposed to allow it to fully be seated, placed in the wire in and unit cut on. It’s now operating and cooling operating.

Called out for leak near the water heater and for toilet filling up super slow upon inspection found that the PRV was leaking next to the water heater and the toilet fill valve in the master bathroom toilet was messed up and not allowing water to flow properly. Gave estimate to replace PRV and to do minor rebuild on the master bathroom toilet customer agreed I shut off the water and drained out the house and then cut out and replaced the main house shut off valve and PRV with new parts. I also removed and replaced the master bathroom toilet fill valve flapper and supply line restored water to the house tested everything with no leaks working properly at this time. PRV set to 60 psi.

Performed diagnostic on 12yr old upstairs trane unit, upon arrival customer stated unit went out a few days ago, checked tstst, cycled to ac mode, nothing came on, upon goin to attic to inspect found secondary pan full of water causing float switch to activate, explained to customer the reason unit wasn’t coming in and explained water usually comes from clogged drain line or system freezing, recommended better flood protection such as wet switch, blower wheel impacted, recommend pulling and cleaning, recommend replacing blower capacitor due to reading bad, checked drain line, unit is draining properly, inspected evap coil, inspected outdoor unit, found coil heavily impacted, recommend chemical cleaning, checked capacitor and contactor, both checked ok, checked amp draw, compressor pulling very high amps on RLA 13/19 and overamping on LRA OL/109, recommend hard start to help lower amp draw, explained compressor can still fail, checked pressures and temp split, found unit low on r410, re

Performed diagnostic on 8yr old heil downstairs unit, upon arrival customer stated unit made a loud noise yesterday and the lights flickered and unit stopped cooling, stated unit did start back cooling and has been working, Checked over system, checked tstst, set to 79 reading 70, dropped temp to 65, unit started up, checked filter, went to attic to inspect furnace, recommend wet switch for better flood protection, noticed unit does not have a return plenum, recommend adding return plenum for better return airflow, checked blower capacitor, checked ok, blower wheel slightly impacted with dirt, recommend pulling and cleaning blower wheel, blower motor checked ok, recommend uv protection to help against biological growth and viruses in the air, I also noticed unit is a 2 ton which requires 800 cfm of airflow, unit has a 10”,8”, and 6” supply which equals 535 cfm, and return has one 14” which equals to 700cfm, return side is in the 10% range but not supply, recommend cutting 8” duct in

Replace two outlets and re-wire outlet upstairs

Today’s visit was for the main floor unit not cooling and water leaking through the ceiling. Customer had another company replace the furnace for the main floor recently. I found the system frozen up and the coil not properly installed to the furnace and the unit is blowing water out onto the platform and the water is leaking through the ceiling. No flood protection present. Also they didn’t hook up the gas for the furnace. And it has duct board plenums. The evaporator coil is leaking refrigerant. I recommend getting a consultation to replace the ac and coil and installing the furnace properly and adding flood protection to both systems. Customer agreed. I scheduled her for Saturday for 12-5 time slot. I also checked the upstairs unit. I found the condenser coils very dirty. I also recommend replacing the dual capacitor and installing a hard start kit. Gave estimates for those repairs as well. Thank you for choosing TE certified
