Cut hole in basement ceiling to try and locate leak. Found after inspecting that the main floor guest bathroom toilet is old, worn out, clogged and running constantly which caused it to overflow leaking downstairs. Unclogged line with auger and replaced toilet. Everything is working properly.

Installation: We uncovered the sewer and water penetration in the front of the house. Replaced pex water service line penetration with soft copper and wrapped with 20 mil tape. Resealed both penetrations with hydro cement and roofing tar. In the utility room in basement, we reworked the sewer drop, installed new whole home shut off, PRV, StreamLabs water monitor, Halo Ultimate, and two Rheem 50 gallon electric water heaters. We also sealed water, sewer, and a failed core penetration from the inside. Ensured drain line had proper pitch and everything was up to code. Cleaned and tested everything thoroughly ensuring no leaks. Customer asked if I could take a look at a couple of running toilets upstairs (powder room by kitchen and jack and Jill bathroom). Adjusted the fill valves. This was done as a courtesy and will not warranty.

Responded to a service call for a non-functioning outlet in the master bathroom. Upon troubleshooting, it was discovered that the outlet had been added by the homeowner using 14 AWG wire on a 20A circuit, which is a code violation. I informed the customer that the wiring needed to be replaced with the proper 12 AWG wire to meet NEC requirements. During wire replacement, I found an open splice inside the wall where the neutral conductor had burnt and failed. This section of wiring was removed and replaced. A new run of 12 AWG wire was installed from an existing outlet in the bedroom to the bathroom location. The existing bathroom receptacle was replaced with a new GFCI outlet for safety and code compliance. All connections were properly terminated, tested, and verified for correct operation. Final Result: Correct wire size (12 AWG) installed on 20A circuit Open splice removed and wiring repaired GFCI outlet installed and tested successfully Circuit restored to safe and code-compliant co

Came out for a no cool. Ran diagnostic on single system home. Found out the thermostat does not send voltage for the blower motor. Jumped out blower motor on furnace board found the motor is also seized up. Had to kickstart it in order to get it up and spinning. Added clean out to drain line, cleared drain line with mighty pup and 2 gallons of water. Found that the filter is not currently in. incorrectly is also the wrong size does not have an actual filter rack on the system. Contactor is pitted outdoor coil is very dirty. Compressor is over amping. Customer elected to get estimates from install supervisor to replace system. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Client has us out at his rental because the toilets are giving the tenants issues, the toilet in the downstairs hallway bathroom leaks from the tank as it’s cracked and the toilet in the upstairs bathroom runs but has been rebuilt recently. They’re both original to the home, also during my inspection I found the water pressure to be extremely high which is the direct reason the toilet in the upstairs bathroom is running and the client is having high water bills, there is also no expansion tank on the system. I presented options and today we went with replacing both toilets, as well as correcting pressure which was replacing the prv and installing an expansion tank. All work is done and water is back on with no leaks.
