Customer toilet was clogged and wasn’t flushing, so I tested the main line and pinpoint it that it was just a blockage in the toilet, so I gave the option to run my toilet auger and I have to run the toilet auger. I cleared the saw blockage and now the toilet is draining properly with no backups present.

Tested toilet with dye test to locate leak. Replaced flapper on toilet , and preformed a second dye test to ensure there were no more leaks. Tested for 25 minutes, no dye nor water was leaking. I did note a small gap between the faucet and the sink that could have contributed to the moisture the customer previously noticed. I offered to apply caulking to create a watertight seal; however, the customer declined at this time. Customer instead elected to have the 3-year-old electric water heater flushed. After completing the flush, I verified that the water heater is heating properly and reaching temperature. All water lines were purged, and the system was tested and inspected. Everything is working properly at this time.

Pipe repair and sink drain repair

Checked out system today for noise and compressor. Compressor is running 10.3 amps in cooling with an RLA of 15.8 Amps. Expected amp draw of 7.9 Amps running based on RLA. Based on this, I feel it is warranted to replace the compressor under manufacture warranty due to defect. Compressor noise is audible and verifiable and not normal running operation. System is also wired as single stage and although running without issue, it may be necessary to rewire unit as a two stage by adding Y2 to both the air handler zone board and compressor outside. Installed Iwave in air handler today for air purification and allergy relief.

Installed new expansion tank, secured to wall, insulated, pulled reset toilet, installed new vacuum breakers on hose bibbs (2). Partial drain house, put in fixtures, pressurized house, purged air out of lines, tested fixtures, no leaks

Troubleshot loss of power to garage outlets. Gfci was hidden and tripped behind storage boxes in the garage. Showed the homeowner how to identify and reset a tripped Gfci. The cause of the tripping is a fault in the water heaters circulation pump and needs to be replaced. Homeowner would like to have plumbing come and take a look at it.
