Upon arrival, we met with the tenants. The home has a single bathroom, laundry and kitchen. They moved in two months ago and since then, the drains have gurgled when fixtures are used, however it has now started backing up in the tub and toilet. We tested and confirmed the toilet was clogged. The home is on septic and was reportedly pumped in the fall. We could see the cast iron plumbing in the crawlspace exit the backleft corner. There are no cleanouts. We were given access through the toilet. The flange is lead and broken, we notified the tenants of this. We snaked the line, cleared the blockage but during testing found a steady water level that would not completely go down. We ran the cable to the tank several times and could not change the water level. At this time, we scheduled a supervisor to provide options for repiping the drains from the home to the tank. We also advised they have the tank inspected to determine any other possible issues. Use large drain machine to clear lin

During today's visit, the homeowner reported a leak coming from the reverse osmosis (RO) system that was recently installed. Upon inspection, we found water pooled around the base of the faucet fixture and around the neck of the faucet where the water enters. Prior to determining the source, we thoroughly dried the blue water line and observed a small amount of water slowly traveling down the fixture. The leak was intermittent and not constant. We then ran the system and inspected all connections and fittings. No signs of damage, loose fittings, or failing connections were found. The homeowner also requested installation of a customer-supplied inline filter for the RO system. We isolated power to the system, drained it, and installed the new filter in an accessible location to allow for easy future replacement by the homeowner. Once installation was complete, water and power were restored. We opened the RO faucet to purge any trapped air and verify proper operation. The faucet was a

We replaced the main panel today due to damage found to the buss bars. On the original visit the cause of the damage was unknown and after removing the panel from the wall we found the issue. The issue that caused the damage was from the siding company that shot a nail through the back of the panel and hit the buss bar on the left side causing significant and irreversible damage. We installed a new QO 42 space main lug panel with all new duel function breakers. We also competed a full panel labeling as well. At the bottom of the panel we installed a new flush mount kit, lifetime warranty surge and cover plate. Due to the previous panel being longer the the new one drywall is showing at the bottom of the panel and we had to make a cut above the panel to be able to pull the wires from the top out. The homeowner requested to have the drywall put back in place and she stated that she will have someone come out to make the repair. On the previous visit we also discovered at the meter main

Replaced an illegal type Siemens 2 pole 50 with a GE (ABB) 2 pole 50amp breaker to correct the none proper UL listed breaker for panel. The existing grounding system outside of the home had only one ground rod in place and after testing the rod with the #6 grounding electrode conductor the reading was 78 ohms. If the current system had 25 ohms or less then a supplemental electrode would not be required. We installed (2) new ground rods and drove them 8’ in the ground and at 9’6” apart, installed a new #4 bare copper GEC (grounding electrode conductor) from rod to rod then up into the service disconnect. We also supplied and installed a protective conduit and a bonding bridge for the low voltage. After completion I tested again and got 17.5 ohms. We are suggesting to have surge protection installed at the service disconnects outside of the home

For the job the customer wanted to install a toilet and a laundry sink in the basement for their kids to use. The drains were already roughed in when the house was built. I cut the toilet drain to floor level and installed the toilet flange as well as the customer supplied toilet. I then connected the laundry sink to the existing drain and connected the venting for the toilet and sink. I tapped in to existing water lines that were visible in the basement and secured them to ensure there was no knocking. Customer also wanted the clean out in the back yard to be cut down and a box put over the top that was level with the ground. All work was thoroughly tested for leaks and proper function.

No cool hole home. Water leaking in furnace. Found 2006 Goodman 90k furnace on 1985 trane 2.5 ton ac. Upon arrival system was off. Found system in off position. Turned on. Upon inspection system freezing up very quickly at outdoor unit. Found very dirty filter, very dirty blower wheel and very dirty evap coil. Heat exchanger shows areas of compromise but no visible cracks found. System lacks secondary drain pan, has no flood protection and had clogged drain due to debris in condensate pump causing plug at bottom of drain. Furnace has single wall flue pip as well as play in blower motor shaft indicating bearing are beginning to fail. Quoted repairs but due to level of dirty evap coil would require to be removed for cleaning and system is r22 which we do not do. Explained to the customer everything and he opted to get quote for replacement of system. Davin is on his way to quote system now.

Upon arrival, I met with the tenants on site. They are experiencing a mainline sewer blockage in the downstairs bathroom. The foundation cleanout is holding water. There is a tap cleanout in the driveway that is clear. According to the tenant, there have been several back ups before. Previous companies reportedly found “the sewer line is broken” between the two cleanouts. I spoke with property management and received approval to clear the blockage and schedule a supervisor to perform a camera inspection. I ran the 400 from the foundation cleanout and was able to clear the blockage however I could not get the cable past and to the tap cleanout. I ran water and a bladder to flush the line and confirm the line is flowing. Use large drain machine to clear line from the exterior accessible cleanout, and locate source of drain issue with sewer camera. Includes drain machine and inspection camera (no additional fee). Does not include digging, replacing lines, or repairs. Cleared lines may

Arrived on site to look at completing a few projects. I Installed a new box, outlet, and cover for the garbage disposal under the kitchen sink. We installed a new appliance cord for the disposal. We also installed a new arc fault/ground fault breaker for this circuit. We installed a new outlet in the master bathroom off the existing bath outlet circuit. This is so the wife can use a hair dryer and other appliances while sitting at the vanity. We came off the existing bathroom lighting circuit with an outlet for the toilet. This is for a future bidet. We installed a new box, GFCI outlet, and cover for this. Everything is working upon departure.

We signed up for the Annual Maintenance right after purchasing our home. I wasn't so sure it was worth it, but I found the electricians very professional and the work they did was quality. I wasn't so sure about the initial HVAC visit in fall of 2023, but we just had our spring 2024 visit from Jeremiah and I will say he made it worth it. I watched over his shoulder, mostly just out of curiosity and a love to learn. He was patient answering questions, and I was very surprised, especially considering the other con-artists,,, ur... i mean contractors I've dealt with. Jeremiah was very knowledgeable, and performed the maintenance with a thoroughness and attention to detail I can rarely ever find. As an engineer, I likely view things more critically and detailed that others, but that didn't phase Jeremiah in the least. He provided several photos of not only the work he recommended, but the results afterward, as well as other areas that did not need additional attention. Luckily, he found some things that could have caused problems, and we were able to correct those now so that we are not having worse problems at a time when it is difficult to get a technician scheduled. I would definitely recommend Jeremiah, and he is a sterling representative of TE Certified. I plan to ask for him next time by name. TE Certified should be okay with that as he sold me on some tasks that I could have done myself, but elected to have him do them because of his professionalism and demeanor. Great job Jeremiah!
