Replaced old water heater with a new 10 year manufacturers warranty 50 gallon water heater. Replaced failed pressure reducing valve. Ran T&P drain to the exterior of the home. Repiped as needed. Tested for leaks and function, all good. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified.
Upon arrival we met with the homeowner. He expressed an issue with a slow draining kitchen sink. He informed us that he recently started having this issue. We took a look at the kitchen sink it took about a minute to back up. We then spoke with the customer about some options to get the sink draining. He decided to go with snaking the kitchen drain. We got signature and grabbed equipment to perform work. The kitchen sink drain is now draining the customer is satisfied with the work and happy at this time. Perform sink drain cleaning with cable machine. Clear sink drain only. Does not include repairs or main line cleaning. No warranty on drain cleaning.
Customer called us out for a leaking garbage disposal. He had bought a disposal to replace the old one but it was not compatible sure to different power types. I gave customer multiple options and he chose to replace it with a 1/2 hp Insinkerator. I removed the old disposal and collar and installed new ones. One of the nuts for the p trap was also leaking and I tightened that down and cleaned it up. I tested the disposal throughly with no issues.
For this job the customer stated they had a leak under the left vanity in the master bathroom. Looking under the sink I noticed that the drain body for that vanity was broke in half. I informed the customer of my findings and replaced the drain body and connected to the existing P trap. I then proceeded to run the vanity for approximately 15 minutes to ensure there were no leaks and the drainage was appropriate.
For this job, we installed a customer supplied car charger, installed a new dedicated circuit for a bathroom bidet in the basement, replaced a light in the basement bedroom, and rerouted wires for an outlet.
Dryer outlet burnt up. Damaged appliance whip and didn’t trip the breaker. Installed GFCI breaker to protect against future issues. Replaced damaged whip and burnt receptacle to restore function. Also replaced non UL listed breaker in panel for AC unit. All equipment is is functioning and has been tested. 2 pole ac breaker was a Picklist item grouped in
AddedWhole home ionization system to unit and added flood protection. Tested work after installation. Everything is properly functioning.
This job I did a leak troubleshoot for homeowner, I did not move forward with the leak detection because during my explore step, I noticed the tub shower in the master bathroom was leaking right out the tub spout/diverter. There was no leak detected on the main service outside and when we turn the main shut off for the home back on the leak indicator at the meter showed a small active leak. The leak in the master tub shower coincides exactly with the size of the leak shown at the meter.

2 system inspection done for realtor 2025 Trane system for upstairs 2021 Lennox and Trane for main Capacitor for main floor is weak Refrigerant for upstairs system is undercharged Drain line for upstairs unit needs to be rerun and secured better Gas lines to both units need to be secured and rerun Blower wheel for main floor is dirty
Performed pre sell home inspection. Discussed with buyers about necessary repairs and concerns.
Quick, professional, knowledgeable.
Today we came out for main level not cooling 2006 Lennox 2 ton. Cycled equipment from thermostat and checked operations found contactor engaged but condenser not running. Checked for proper voltage found 115 volts at contactor. After further evaluation of equipment found failed 20 amp double pole breaker. Gave client options and they would like to replace the breaker themself. I advised them that we would be happy to inspect system once it’s operational. Left breaker off at panel outside. Client did not want furnace to be inspected
Replaced faulty dual function breaker
Our previous HVAC company kept postponing our Spring Maintenance service, which was concerning to us. Since we already used TE CERTIFIED for our plumbing and electrical needs, we knew we would be getting the same level of quality service if we included their HVAC as well. It turned out to be an eye-opening experience: the numerous overlooked maintenance needs that Gabe Bartee identified after his initial visit made it obvious that it would have just been a matter of time before we experienced serious issues. An added benefit is that we now have peace of mind knowing that the substantial investment we made in a new HVAC system just a few years ago will last us longer than would have otherwise been the case.
2 system Homecare complete 2018 Rheem 2ton main floor system 2017 Trane 2 ton upstairs system Checked and changed filters Checked capacitors Checked refrigerant Flushed drain lines and condensate pump Capacitor for upstairs was weak Blower wheel for upstairs was dirty Outdoor coil for main floor was dirty Discussed all options with homeowner and with approval we cleaned blower wheel, outdoor coil and changed weak capacitor. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
Arrived back on site to replace the shower cartridge in the master shower. I shut the water down for the house and successfully replaced the cartridge . Once cartridge was replaced, I turned the water back on to the house , and secured the cover plate and shower handle. I also put a clear seal around the cover plate to prevent water from running behind the shower wall.
I was called back to Mike’s house to perform the quoted repairs.
Not cooling Replace capacitor Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. The heat exchanger is cracked on furnace and has the potential to leak carbon monoxide into the home. Everything on the furnace is in poor condition. Also the air conditioner is not in good condition either amp draw was running high and parts are worn . Condenser coil was in poor condition. With everything considered I recommend replacing entire system.
At arrival on 05/19/26 found main floor system not cooling. There was water underneath the furnace System was freezing up due to bad blower motor and bad capacitor No drain pan No wet safety switch Weak drain pump Weak outdoor capacitor and contactor Cracked heat exchanger Dirty blower wheels System is R-22 refrigerant and is 23 years old. Improper flu pipe Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
Client was unaware of which system equipment for the UL was not functioning. Once I verified which system was not cooling, I observed the power switch in the upper attic for the main UL system was turned off. Once I turned it on this system began operating properly at this time. The other UL system is zoned with the ML master bedroom zone 1 and one UL bedroom as zone 2 which is working properly at this time. All clients filters are dirty and require replacement today. Client approved replacing them. UL system had a new 20x25x4 filter in the attic to be replaced. I provided 3 filters today. 16x25x4, 20x25x4, and 20x20x4. Last homecare maintenance was April 10, 2024. We have not performed maintenance for 2 years and I recommend renewal. We can then have all 4 systems scheduled to perform this service.
Upon arrival spoke with potential buyer about a potential leak that came up during the home inspection. They believe the leak came from the dishwasher. Removed dishwasher. No leaks were observed. Floor was buckled and it appear to have had a leak previously. Home inspector got a moisture reading in the ceiling. Ceiling will have to be cut to further inspect.

Attempt to clear a mainline blockage by pulling main floor toilet Customer called us out for a mainline blockage affecting the main floor bathroom group. Upon arrival customer stated this is the first time this issue has happened. We checked the cleanout outside of the home, and there was some water sitting there but not fully. We ran water in the bathroom sink and flushed the toilet a few times and then the toilet didn’t flush and we heard it start to gurgle. We attempted to clear the blockage through the cleanout and we were unsuccessful. We proceeded to the next step which was to pull the toilet and run our cable in the drain and we were successful to restore proper flow after multiple attempts. There was no damage to the flange and we reset the toilet on a new wax ring. We tested to ensure it was not going to back up again by running water for a long period of time. The customer has an appointment with a sewer supervisor to perform a camera inspection. Customer is satisfied and th
Arrived on site and customer was experiencing a leak coming from the top of the water heater . He found the relief line on the exterior of the house leaking , so when I took a further look I found the T&P was discharging . I checked the pressure to the house and found the pressure was as high as 95 psi. It was also stated that the shower head in the master bathroom was dripping as well . I provided options for repairs and customer agreed to address his issues . I replaced the pressure regulator , installed a new ball valve , and also replaced the T&P. I tried to locate the shower cartridge , but we needed to order the part and will have to return when in arrives .
Troubleshot items around the home and fixed smaller issues found during the home care inspection. New and updated grounding system, separated neutrals and grounds in the main panel, whole home surge protection, GFCI protection for counter top outlets, new chime and button kit, labeled the main panel and fixed a damaged box and improper wiring for the kitchen counter under cabinet lights, we will be returning later to install a proper junction box for the under cabinet light next to the stove along with other smaller projects.
Warranty is only on, new wire and connections. Power was pulled off existing power source with original devices.
Albert Nah was my service technician from TE today. He was extremely professional, personable, and knowledgeable about what needed to be done for my HVAC maintenance service. He clearly presented all options and provided great suggestions on how to keep my HVAC running. While I was not able to take advantage of some of the higher end additions for my system at this time, Albert was professional and never gave the impression of trying to push extra services on me. I will likely pursue one of them in the future, but it is a relief to deal with a professional who is honest about what I need and how other options can help without putting unnecessary pressure on the customers wallet. I’m happy to have him be the agent anytime we need service. Top marks all around!
Albert did a great job! He answered all my questions. Albert did an excellent job of founding the problem with my AC and fixed it quickly!
Perfect. Will definitely ask for him next time.
Excellent sermvice
Steven and Leo are a great team
The plumbing job I needed was not a simple process. It required rerouting of pipes through a large section of the downstairs with many turns, cutting of drywall, among things that made it a long job. Vincent and Kevin did an amazing job with all facets of this project! Would definitely hire again for other plumbing jobs.
Kyle came over with EJ (assuming EJ is an apprentice) got to work and didn’t et up until the job was done. Very courteous and professional!!
James did such a great job of quickly and accurately diagnosing the problem and fixing the problem that others (from other companies) before him had missed. He was so respectful of my property and kept everything clean and was so nice. I would love for him to be my plumber going forward! Thank you James and TE Electric!
TE CERTIFIED are super responsive, which is great for someone on a shorter timeline. Mr. Hernandez provided cllear expectations, answered my MANY questions, and went above and beyond in setting up my pottery studio. They made sure everything was up to code, and ensured that’s I would have the proper electrical outlets and amount of power I needed for a studio running kilns, wheels and many lights.
Very knowledgeable and respectful
Dylan was professional, understanding, thorough, on time, respectful, and all-around nice. He was considerate and very knowledgeable as well.
Excellent Service!!
First I received a call asking if my tech could arrive early. That was great for me. He was friendly and very informative. I appreciate his excellent service!
Great service
Excellent service
Brian was very professional and got the job done in no time.
Our 50 gallon hot water heater busted and flooded most of our basement. Ben from TE Certified was at our door within an hour of calling the company. He was very professional and gave us three options for replacing our hot water heater. We had a few quotes and Ben’s was right in line with the other estimates. He replaced our hot water heater in a few hours and removed our old one for 2400.00. It has a 10 year warranty. Ben left the job site very clean and he did a great job. I highly recommend TE certified and Ben. This is the 2nd time we have used this company. They previously repaired a leak.
Mike was very knowledgeable, he did a thorough investigation of my issue and provided me with the details of what he found. He was patient with answering my questions. Excellent customer experience.

Jeffrey Phung & Chad were simply outstanding providing over and above service. Timely, informative, and hardworking from arrival to cleanup. Finished by giving a walkthrough explanation of any differences in the newly installed outlets (gfci etc), new surge protection and panel configuration. Top notch experience.
