No heat on a one system, two zones. Turned both thermostats on heat , but only fan worked. Both thermostats were calling for heat, at the zone board, but no power going into the furnace board. Losing power inside the zoning board. Zone board is bad and needs to be replaced. Customer wanted to have zone board disconnected and have only the main level thermostat controlling the entire house. I connected main level thermostat straight to the furnace board and tested system multiple times, bypassing the zone board. Tested system multiple times, in heating and cooling mode with no issue.

I was called out to Berman & Pamela‘a house for a Homecare maintenance. Pam let me know that when Matt previously changed the return plenum on the upstairs system the return vent in the den started to him when the ac ran. During the evaluation we discovered that the ductwork was small which cause the airflow to increase on the return when the plenum was replaced and caused the hum to happen. I spoke with management about the situation and they said they will look into the situation and will be in touch with Berman & Pamela.

Customer had a leak on three quarter inch copper.In the basement ceiling directly below the kitchen sink. There was also evidence of a previous improper repair that I brought up. As well, the customers shut off valves for their hose.Bibs and the emergency shutoff were all gate valves and looked original to the home. Customer agreed to have not only the repair on the copper taken care of but replaced the emergency shutoffs.For all the items stated and replace the pressure regulating valve with a higher quality. Did so by turning the water off at the meter and draining down the house.Then performing all set tasks. Afterwards, I turned the water back on at the meter, with the new water main emergency shutoff.Turned off and it pressurized. I then went in and turned the water on slowly at the new ball valve and primed the house of any.Heir out of the lines and fixtures and checked for aeration. Today we came out for only system in the house not heating 2010 trane 60000 btu 90+ furnace located in attic. Found furnace locked out on pressure switch failure second stage and dirty flame sensor. Performed safety inspection on furnace inspected heat exchanger with digital camera found substantial crack @ 7 o clock. Tagged furnace unsafe to operate due to potential carbon monoxide fumes and scheduled install supervisor to give options on updating.

Hot water line located above the bathroom had a split directly after a tee and was spraying water toward the subfloor above. I replaced the tee and a small section of pipe.

Called out because the gas company had shut off the gas at the home to do a gas line repair, and when they went to relight the water heater, they found that the flu vent was not connected to the top of the water heater. Reconnected the flu vent as a courtesy and relit the water heater. Gave homeowner multiple estimates for either replacement of the water heater, or to re-piping the water heater to meet code requirements. We originally called for a quote. We were very impressed with the professionalism as well as the price quoted, that we approved them for the job. David & Dylan got the materials and went to work.
