Customer had a sump not working after my my inspection I found that the float was cover in grease causing it not to float and turn on with customer approval I clean pump and’s basin once clean I tested everything out issues is resolved thanks thanks thanks for choosing TE certified.

Upon arrival spoke with customer about hose bib on front of the house that would no longer turn off. Water was off to the home upon arrival. Gave options. Replaced front hose bib and shut off. Hose bib was secured to the home, sealed and a vacuum break was added. Piping on the inside was insulated and a valve tag was added. Water was restored to the home. All work was tested for leaks and functionality. Valve for the hose bib was left in the on position.
Today I performed a warranty troubleshoot on a bath fan. I also replaced receptacles with customer supplied devices.
No cool and burnt smell in the house. Blower motor not working. Got power to the motor, but it tripped the breaker. Also, single capacitor is weak (reading 17,5 on a 20 microfarad), no flood protection device installed. Will need to replace the blower motor, in order to do a complete diagnostic. Other parts may have been affected. Sent estimates for potential repairs (not recommend), but at this age and conditions, best option would be to upgrade the only system in the house (2 zones), and bring savings, comfort and efficiency back to the house. Set a lead to quote upgrading for the system for tomorrow morning.

Today we came out for only system not cooling and freezing up 2019 carrier 3 ton ac single stage with zoning. Cycled equipment from thermostat found system to have a restriction in evaporator coil. Coil and txv will need to be replaced. " I will note that This system is single-stage, builder-grade equipment and is not designed to support a zoned application. Installing zoning on this type of system can lead to improper operation, increased wear, and premature equipment failure. Zoning systems are best suited for equipment with variable-speed or modulating capabilities, which can adjust output to match the varying demands of multiple zones.
Replaced leaking pressure reducing valve. Replaced failed thermal expansion tank. Repiped as needed. Tested for leaks and function, all good. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified.
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running. Control board and transformer for furnace Return visit to install control board and transformer. Install with successful and system did come on and is cooling after this repair. Upon diagnostic of outdoor unit found the system to be low on refrigerant and actively leaking refrigerant. This system is very much on its last leg. I still recommend meeting with install about replacement. We can use the payment today as a down payment/discount on your new system. The contactor is buzzing loudly and the capacitor is out of spec on the compressor side. Will quote a price to do both of these repairs.
3 system home care . Tested heating and cooling. There was no issues with none of the units . Replaced thermostat downstairs to Ecobee. The filters were good and did not need to be changed .
A second short presented itself after homeowner chemically cleaned the outdoor coil. This short was discovered inside of the wall by the outdoor unit. Necessary repairs made with approval. Thank you for choosing TE certified!

Found biological growth on supply plenum which is duct board and informed customer. Spoke with customer about all options of repairs as well as getting a project manager out to discuss pricing for new system but customer is not ready for that at this time but will call in when ready. Customer called us out for continued issues with gurgling in the kitchen sink. On arrival customer showed me that when the right half of the sink was ran the left half would gurgle. I recommended jetting and Endure to help with grease clearing. Customer agreed. I ran the jetter down the line successfully clearing the blockage, I then ran it down again with no resistance. I tested the drain again three times with large amounts of water and had no gurgling. I cleaned the area throughly.
Small short and low-voltage wiring inside of furnace. Repaired. Condenser coil extremely dirty and needs to be chemically cleaned before AC is used consistently. May be low on refrigerant, though it is very difficult to tell given the state of the coil. Homeowner mentioned he will buy chemicals and clean himself. Also noticed capacitors week. Today’s work was to re-plumb the entire water piping supply of removing gray poly out of the house and replacing it with newer pex piping. Bored a new main service from the meter to the house in 1 inch black pex with a new pressure regulating valve. Installed new 50 gallon water heater with ion six descaling filter for the water heater. Marked all valves to their point of uses for what they are dedicated for, and insulated the piping in the house. Permit for
Customer needed to have the upstairs bathroom water stop valve to the toilet replaced due to it leaking. I turned off the water, cut out the old valve, and replaced with a new one. Turned water back on to the home and checked for leaks. Everything is good to go. Thank you for choosing TE Certified
Today we came out for a one system hvac inspection 2011 Lennox 2.5 ton with 2017 trane furnace 80k furnace located in garage. Inspected heat exchanger on furnace and filter. Checked supply and return ductwork. Inspected all electrical components and connections took amp draws on all motors and the compressor. On start up compressor pulling lock rotor amps 161.5 took movie of finding and found duel capacitor weak 40 reading 33 on compressor. Customer approved replacing duel cap, checked refrigerant levels and visual inspection on contactor. Due to high amp draws on compressor and equipment being past full life expectancy scheduled install supervisor to give options on ac and coil as well as a duel fuel system. Left all equipment operational.

The plumbing job I needed was not a simple process. It required rerouting of pipes through a large section of the downstairs with many turns, cutting of drywall, among things that made it a long job. Supply 3/4 water line from the garage manifold and through the ceiling to kitchen . Supply 1/2 water line from manifold and in ceiling to kitchen Cut and remove drywall and install new water lines to the kitchen.Isolate leaking water lines behind the master bathroom in the living room wall . Cap leaking line that runs to kitchen . Turn water back on , pressurized and tested work area .

Our 50 gallon hot water heater busted and flooded most of our basement. Ben from TE Certified was at our door within an hour of calling the company. He was very professional and gave us three options for replacing our hot water heater. We had a few quotes and Ben’s was right in line with the other estimates.
