Troubleshot a loose connection in an outlet
Upon arrival spoke with customer about two shower cartridges that he purchased and wanted replaced. Water was off to the house upon arrival. Gave options. Explained that customer supplied parts carry no warranty. Removed cartridges. Valves were in rough shape and had lots of calcium build up. Used a pick scraped as much calcium/build up out of the valves as possible and cleaned out valves. Installed new cartridges. Stand up shower was no longer dripping but the tub/shower combo still had roughly a 10 second drip. Reccommend the valve be replaced and left estimate as the build up is preventing the cartridge from making a proper seal. If customer decides to move forward with shower valve replacement I will credit back half of today’s repair cost towards replacement. Checked water pressure and got a reading of 85 psi and determined the expansion tank had failed as well. Left the customer options.

For this job, I replaced a ceiling fan
Arrived to the property and spoke with the homeowner in regards of a potential leak coming from the upstairs hallway bathroom toilet. Customer states she noticed the water stain on the kitchen ceiling, also informed us the bathroom was remodeled completely and the flange was repaired before. Upon our findings we noticed the coupling for the toilet drain wasn’t glued which was the reason water was dripping down into the kitchen; also the flange was set below the tile so the toilet didn’t have a water tight seal which was also contributing to the leak. Accessed the plumbing by cutting into the saturated area of the kitchen ceiling to expose the plumbing, also made it clear to the homeowner we are not responsible for sheetrock and do not replace and/or repair it. Homeowner approved the work, we installed a new PVC flange while ensuring the flange was set at an appropriate level and rebuilt the drain to ensure no leaks would occur. Homeowner also provided a kitchen faucet she wanted us to
For this call, we came to complete sold work for replacing tub shoe due to the stop being broken. Upon arriving, we began by removing standing tub that was recently installed by TE. Afterwards, we had to cut access below tub for this repair for future maintenance. A louvre vent was placed in the ceiling for access. After installing new shoe, we had to reset the tub on the floor and tightened down the tubular from below. Filled up the tub to the overflow multiple times with water to see if there were any leaks from drains. After we confirmed testing, we sealed up the tub to the floor and cleaned up behind us. Informed customer to not use tub for the silicone to cure properly for roughly 24 hours. The removal of tub was done as a courtesy due to parts failure warranty and being an existing customer of TE, essentially the homeowner paid todays work for the access panel and for the tub shoot repair. Thank you for trusting TE Certified with all your plumbing needs.
One system maintenance. The customer bought home care on this visit. I did the home care maintenance. The next checkup will be in the fall for hvac. The components on system checked out . There wasn’t a wet switch I added a wet switch to pan for added flood protection. The unit was tested in heating and air . Tested drain line and pump and added cleaner. The refrigerant levels were acceptable and deta t looked good
Installed new toilet in the halfbath with a kohler elmbrook. Also replaced kohler canister In the upstairs bathroom. The meter is no longer spinning.
Install two new half inch trap primers, one trap primer will be underneath the men’s sink and the second trap primer will be located underneath the women’s sink. Arrived and completed install of two trap primers and one lavatory faucet. Hydrojetted sewer line and cleared as best as possible. Informed customer of our findings that there is a section of pipe that is bellied and obstructing flow. Marked and located the affected section of piping. Sewer supervisor will return Friday to give customer options on fixing this section of pipe. Cleaned work area. Customer is satisfied.
Cleaned condenser coil and blower wheel. Installed iWave. Verified all is functioning properly at this time.
Installed customer supplied faucet. Replaced trap. Tested for leaks and function, all good. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified.
Customer called us out for a clogged shower drain in the master bathroom. On arrival customer said there might be a piece of the plug in the drain. I tested the shower and it backed up quickly. I recommended running a flex shaft down the line to clear the blockage. Customer agreed. I ran the machine down and did not feel any significant blockage. I successfully cleared the drain and scraped the sides of the drain. I cleaned up and tested throughly.

1 System HomeCare - 2021 Lennox System Adjusted gas pressure and changed 16*25*1 filter. Flushed drain and added enzymes. Cycled zoning controls and thermostats from Heat to Cool. Cleaned flame sensor and set furnace up to run in high stage. Originally the furnace has only been running in low stage since installed. Inspected outdoor unit electrical, coil and refrigerant pressures. The outdoor coil was very dirty and needed cleaned. The contactor was also in very poor shape. The system also lacked adequate water safety devices and the blower is slightly dirty. I gave my findings to the customer and it was decided to replace contactor, clean outdoor coil and install water safety devices. Water safety devices were installed and tested to confirm system shutdown when triggered. Outdoor unit was disassembled and cleaned and contactor was replaced. Once completed with repairs, system was started back up to verify the system was still operational. Customer may decide to clean blower wheel

Customer was experiencing a water hammer at the hose spigot located on the back of the house. There is an automated sprinkler system attached to the spigot. The hammer was happened when the sprinkler system would turn off. It was being caused by the vacuum breaker between the spigot and sprinkler valve. I removed the vacuum breaker and the customer will be installing 3 vacuum breakers on the sprinkler valve attachment points. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
Stephen called us out to his home because he’s getting an electric vehicle and bought a charger and wanted it installed. We had talked about two different options to go. The one he decided to do today was the basic option right next to the electrical panel.

Performed one system homecare maintenance today. Flushed condensate pump and added enzyme confirming proper expulsion of water. 20x25x5 box filter does not require replacement today. Tested all system operations revealing the outdoor capacitor below tolerance and recommend replacing it to reduce the risk of system failures. Flame sensor is clean and condenser coil is also clean. Flood protection is all functioning. All other operations are within parameters at this time. Due to continuous homecare lapsing in 2024, the labor warranty is voided. The repair will still be provided with the 10% discount at our part only warranty rate. Client approved repair today and tested system to be operating within specifications.

Removed cat 6 wires from cubicles and disconnected power from cubicles
Replaced pool panel and removed pool timer for constant power through pump. Customer said they will turn pump on and off
No cool on the main level system, due to a bad dual capacitor. Replaced capacitor and system works. Inspected system in heating and cooling and both zones. Filter is clean, drain line is clear. All zones and dampers are working properly. No other issue found at this visit. Recommend to do a chemical wash on the outside condenser and to install a blue tube uv light, to give better air quality to the house, and to prevent system to build up biological growth. Also, recommend to sign up for home care maintenance plan, and have both systems in the house taking care. Customer decline any other repair other than replace dual capacitor.
Customer had a faucet in the bathroom that they wanted reinstalled. They had a neighbor install a bathroom faucet a few weeks prior, but it was not functioning properly. I went ahead and removed and reinstalled the bathroom faucet. Once faucet was reinstalled I had tested the faucet to ensure proper functioning.
Install a new 60 amp circuit and conduit from breaker box to car charger at front of building.
Albert Nah was my service technician from TE today. He was extremely professional, personable, and knowledgeable about what needed to be done for my HVAC maintenance service. He clearly presented all options and provided great suggestions on how to keep my HVAC running. While I was not able to take advantage of some of the higher end additions for my system at this time, Albert was professional and never gave the impression of trying to push extra services on me. I will likely pursue one of them in the future, but it is a relief to deal with a professional who is honest about what I need and how other options can help without putting unnecessary pressure on the customers wallet. I’m happy to have him be the agent anytime we need service. Top marks all around!
Albert did a great job! He answered all my questions. Albert did an excellent job of founding the problem with my AC and fixed it quickly!
Perfect. Will definitely ask for him next time.

Steven and Leo are a great team
The plumbing job I needed was not a simple process. It required rerouting of pipes through a large section of the downstairs with many turns, cutting of drywall, among things that made it a long job. Vincent and Kevin did an amazing job with all facets of this project! Would definitely hire again for other plumbing jobs.
Kyle came over with EJ (assuming EJ is an apprentice) got to work and didn’t et up until the job was done. Very courteous and professional!!
James did such a great job of quickly and accurately diagnosing the problem and fixing the problem that others (from other companies) before him had missed. He was so respectful of my property and kept everything clean and was so nice. I would love for him to be my plumber going forward! Thank you James and TE Electric!
TE CERTIFIED are super responsive, which is great for someone on a shorter timeline. Mr. Hernandez provided cllear expectations, answered my MANY questions, and went above and beyond in setting up my pottery studio. They made sure everything was up to code, and ensured that’s I would have the proper electrical outlets and amount of power I needed for a studio running kilns, wheels and many lights.
Very knowledgeable and respectful

Our 50 gallon hot water heater busted and flooded most of our basement. Ben from TE Certified was at our door within an hour of calling the company. He was very professional and gave us three options for replacing our hot water heater. We had a few quotes and Ben’s was right in line with the other estimates. He replaced our hot water heater in a few hours and removed our old one for 2400.00. It has a 10 year warranty. Ben left the job site very clean and he did a great job. I highly recommend TE certified and Ben. This is the 2nd time we have used this company. They previously repaired a leak.
Mike was very knowledgeable, he did a thorough investigation of my issue and provided me with the details of what he found. He was patient with answering my questions. Excellent customer experience.
