Arrived on site for the downstairs furnace not working due to a tripped breaker. We found the breaker was tripped and would trip without the furnace cycling. We isolated the circuit and found the circuit going into the upstairs attic. We checked wires inside the j box, the furnace and at the switch and discovered the wires at the switch were burnt and the switch was melted and wouldn’t turn on or off. We spoke with client about our findings and he grabbed another switch he had in the garage and asked us to install it. We carefully installed the new switch. Cycled power and tested system operation and restored heat again. We found no concerns with the 2022 Rheem furnace and spoke about the benefits of Homecare. Customer opted to just pay the invoice total and passed on Homecare today. We collected payment via credit card and confirmed system was fully operational upon departure. Call complete.
We replaced the transformer with a new customer supplied one.
Connected abandoned 1/2 inch line to the 3/4 inch main water line in order to get the existing hose bib back operational. Added ball valve for servicing line. Tested the hose bib and valve for proper operation. No issues present.
Upon arrival spoke with the customer about water coming from the ceiling in their dining room. A previous repair was made in this area and one roughly 10 ft away in the kitchen on the uponor recirculation line. Cut the ceiling open in multiple spots. All wood was dry and a very small amount of water was present on the piece of drywall that was removed from the dining room. Turned on the water to the home and bled down the recirculation line. No leaks, drips or drops were observed. Hot line, cold line and recirculation loop were all accessible in the chase the hole was cut. Removed insulation from piping. Spent roughly two hours looking for leaks but could not reproduce. Customer was charged for a leak search today and in the event the leak shows again I will credit the leak search towards any repairs necessary.
PRV was leaking into the cabinet where it was installed. We removed the existing gate valve and PRV. We installed a new ball valve and PRV, reconnected to the existing water piping, set water pressure, and tested all work. Left an estimate for recommended repairs to the water heater. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
For this job, we replaced a LED driver in one of the track lights. It did not stop the flickering and we will be returning to replace the light when the customer gets a replacement.
We were referred out by a service plumber to clear a leak in the 2 upstairs non master bathrooms. I tested the toilets and both were leaking down into the main floor. I recommended clearing the son’s bathroom with a cable machine and doing a pull and reset on the spare bedroom bathroom. I also scheduled a sewer supervisor to come out and inspect the line from the spare bedroom bathroom from 9-11 2/20. I removed the son’s toilet and ran a cable machine down the line successfully clearing the blockage. I then reset the toilet with new wax ring, closet bolts, china caps, and supply line and tested to make sure there were no leaks. I then removed and reset the other bathroom toilet replacing the wax ring, closet bolts, china caps and supply line. Customers Moen water monitor shut off water when trying to test but did turn on before I left I tested it to make sure there were no issues.
Called out to inspect a toilet leaking at the base. Upon arrival found that the toilet was shift and leaked from the wax seal. Advised the homeowner that we would need to start with a pull and reset but that the flange could potentially be broken. Homeowner agreed and work was started. Began by shutting off water to the toilet and removing the toilet. Once removed I noticed that the flange was indeed broken. Gave homeowner updated price to replace the flange. Began by cutting out broken flange and installed a new pvc flange mounted to the ground. Once flange was set, reinstalled toilet with a new wax ring and bolts. Once complete I tested for leaks and functionality. No leaks and toilet is working properly. Thank you for trusting TE certified with all your plumbing needs.

Customer had a pin hole leak in the kitchen ceiling. Ceiling was already cut when I arrived. Checked the house pressure which was really high reading at 120psi. Replaced whole home pressure regulator valve to bring the pressure back to a safe level. Fixed the pin hole leak. Customer had a past with pin hole leaks. I highly recommend a whole house repipe with a whole home water filtration system. I provided quotes. (Customers have the option to sign and accept quotes as well as apply for financing through email to get on the schedule). Thank you for choosing TE Certified
Homeowner has a water service that is leaking somewhere under the foundation of the house. The leak is rather slow however it is not presenting any obvious symptoms. Confirmed existence of leak by isolation the main line. Shut off up quarter turn valve inside house and the meter still showed movement. Trenched from meter to flower bed. Bored under flower bed and sidewalk to house. Installed 1” HDPE piping from meter to house, under sidewalk. Pipe is set approximately 18” deep into the ground. At the meter I installed a new meter nipple, a new 1” quarter turn PEX ball valve, and a new 1” dual check assembly. Drilled through foundation of house in the corner of the garage. Sleeved 3/4” Type L soft copper through foundation. Copper is wrapped with burial tape. Connected onto 3/4” PEX outside, and then upsized to 1” to connect to HDPE. Inside the garage, I ran approximately 20 feet of 3/4” PEX along the wall and ceiling, supported via bell hanger approximately every 5 feet. Drilled throug
Today we came out for only system not cooling properly 2014 Lennox four ton ac with matching 90k furnace. Client let me know on arrival that evaporator coil had been replaced a year after moving in and client has owned property for ten years. Inspected complete system checked heat exchanger with digital camera found severe metal fatigue and hot spots due to age and zoning. Cycled equipment from both thermostats in cooling mode found system critically low on refrigerant causing low pressure switch to open. Circuit has refrigerant leak, performed courtesy electronic leak search found leak on bottom of evaporator coil. With coil leaking compressor has lost lubrication and has been compromised. Blower motor bearings are worn out and very loud on start up. Contactor is severely pitted on condensing unit and condenser coil is impacted with dirt. Client has single stage builder grade equipment with zoning. Let customer know the proper set up would be a fully modulating communicating system. F
Came on 02/16/26 with no heat Found some leaks in the line set, in the Heatpump and the evaporator coil. Dirty air filter and air ducts Microbial growth in evaporator coil System is R22 with 21 years old. Gave option to upgrade system.
Arrived at the customer’s home to find the cause of no cooling on the upstairs HVAC system. Tested heating and cooling from the thermostat. Found that the cooling is calling properly, but the outdoor unit is not kicking on. After cycling power, a few times, the A/C turned on. There were signs of a restriction in the line set, even when simulating higher temperatures. Measured the electrical component readings and refrigerant pressures. Measured the static pressure and counted up the ductwork. The system is technically cooling at this time, but it seems airflow and refrigerant issues may be contributing to possible pressure switch trips or compressor lockout. Reported findings to the customer.
Mike was very knowledgeable, he did a thorough investigation of my issue and provided me with the details of what he found. He was patient with answering my questions. Excellent customer experience.
Customer wanted drains and water capped for new cabinet install. Left quote for later trim out.
For this job, I did a leak troubleshoot for the homeowner isolated the water service between the meter and the shut off in the basement, and observed there was no leak on the service main. Once I opened it up, the meter spun very very, very, very slowly, which I discovered was because of a dripping faucet in the powder bathroom. The homeowner advised me that she will be having that faucet replaced tomorrow because she’s having the countertops redone and they already quoted her to replace the faucet. During my investigation I also noticed the sewer ejection pump in the basement is flooding. Homeowner is contacting her insurance company for mitigation. The sewage ejector pump has failed and is no longer functioning properly.

Arrived on site and replaced a Delta shower cartridge in the master shower along with a rebuild in the upstairs toilet new supply line and a new straight stop. Once work area was completed. I went ahead and checked the toilet flushing it several times to ensure no issues. I also had to remove the Delta handle because of corrosion and the handle. It was no longer usable. Customer will pick up a delta handle and replace cartridge is set and water to the home is on.
Homeowner bought a bath/light/heater fan for the master bathroom. We discussed serval options for the installation of this fan. He decided he wanted to just pull off of the existing jacuzzi circuit. Installed 2 new stack switches for the fan, light, and heater. Also installed 2 fans that the homeowner provided. We walked through with the homeowner and everything is working as it should
