Job Locations and Reviews
In hiring TE Certified to service my Rheem systems, I was fortunate to be served by Casey, who was able to diagnose and repair systems.
Installed new customer supplied Kohler toilet with new wax ring, closet bolts and supply line. When technician pulled the toilet to replace it, technician found the toilet flange was too high and recommended to install a new flange in order to get the correct height for toilet so it can be installed properly. Customer agreed to do the repair. In addition, technician also installed a new emergency stop for guest bathroom toilet. Furthermore technician also installed a new pressure reducing valve and rechecked pressure and found it to be safe at 60 psi after install was performed. Technician also installed a new thermal expansion tank checked for leaks and found none. Lastly technician installed two new lavatory cartridges. Checked them to be working properly with no issues.
Make all repairs necessary to restore the unit to full health and eliminate all other concerns. Condensate pump failed. Replaced with approval. Showing of home this evening and necessary repairs made. Previous issues noticed are still active. System otherwise now cooling. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
For this job, the customer stated they had a leak in the basement on the copper water line. After taking a look we noticed multiple areas where leaks were forming, and a couple other active small leaks. The customer opted to just have the cold line which had all the leaks replaced in this area of the home. We also installed a new main shut off, and regulator on the main in the basement. Once complete we tested our work and cleaned up. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.
Replaced two Challenger two pole breakers from AC panel one of the breakers was a 25 amp breaker for a max of 30 amp AC unit explained to the customer that I would be needing to replace both of them. Also replaced bad GFI in garage wave troubleshoot fee went with work.
Whole home 3 ton system not cooling Upon arrival I noticed the wet switch was tripped due to some moisture in the pan which was determined coming from condensation on drain line which was directly above where the switch was sitting. I put some insulation on the line and moved the safety to the side of the unit in the pan After I turned system back on and IDU came on but ODU did not I checked for power at ODU which had nothing there or at disconnect Checked main breaker which was tripped. Checked everything that could have caused this including amp draw from compressor and fan, checked for any shorted or lose wiring, checked contactor which all turned out good and did not see any issues with the equipment. Homeowner did mention there was a storm last night when the system went off so it very well could have been a surge. Filter does need to be changed which homeowner will do Blower wheel and outdoor coil can both benefit from a cleaning to help maintain the longevity of equipment Sy
Only System - Zoned Homeowner shut system off last night and system had been off for about 12 hours. Very little water in emergency drain pan, drain line flowing freely. Found filter with plastic sucked onto it restricting air flow. These are also the original dampers, tested all dampers and at this time they are operating properly. These dampers could be getting stuck half or fully closed intermittently. System has proper charge and blower speed set. I installed new filter and made sure there was no more plastic or debris in the return plenum. Monitored system in cooling mode and cycled dampers again. At this time the system is operating properly. While on site I went ahead and used might pump on drain again as stand procedure, drain is free and clear. Again, This system is single-stage, builder-grade equipment and is not designed to support a zoned application. Installing zoning on this type of system can lead to improper operation, increased wear, and premature equipment failure.
2-ton system located in basement service main level 2.5-ton system located in attic services of Level New condensate pump on main level system New return with cut in on main level New condenser pad New drain line New disconnect with electrical whip New safety switches New thermostats New dragonfly kit Remove existing humidifiers on both systems Paid half on a credit card and half on a check
2 system Homecare. Tested both systems in heating and cooling. Cleaned flame sensors and vacuum tubes. Tested electrical components and safeties, flushed and pumped drain lines. Checked refrigerant levels and visually inspected coils. Found upstairs 2025 TE pro 2.5 ton dual fuel heat pump in great condition operating as designed. Did quote rerunning the drain line as it comes around the equipment to go in front of the equipment and believe it to be very inefficient in its design. Main floor unit is 2017 2 ton trane ac with Goodman TE pro furnace installed in 2025. Outdoor unit is dirty, recommend cleaning. Both systems lack any IAQ upgrades other than media filters.
For this job, the customer stated they accidentally cracked the tank on the upstairs guest bathroom toilet. The customer opted to replace the toilet with a kohler high line arc. Once we pulled the toilet we noticed an offset toilet flange and standing water in the pipe. We made the customer aware of this. He is going to call back at a later date once the owner of the home is back and have us come diagnose and fix the issue. The customer is not going to use the toilet for now until they call back to have the issue fixed. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.
Homeowner has a toilet that was leaking from the base. The homeowner states that one of the children jump off the toilet which caused the leak. The toilet was already pulled upon arrival. The flange was broken which caused the leak. Cut ceiling in basement to find drain line for toilet. Cut out and removed section of 3” PVC drain line. Cut out and removed broken flange. Installed new section of 3” PVC drain line. Installed new 4x3 closet 90°. Installed new section of 4” PVC drain line. Installed new metal ring flange. Installed new wax ring with horn. Installed new nylon bolts. Installed new stainless steel braided supply line. Set toilet onto flange. Flushed toilet approximately 5 times to test for leaks. Caulked toilet to floor with clear caulk.
Today we replaced the customers 3 handle gerber shower valve. We replaced it with a single handle delta shower valve. We cut out the dry wall in the closet behind the shower valve and cut it out and pressed the new one in. We installed the new trim on and the new tub spout as well. We caulked around the trim and cleaned up the area.
Room device for master bedroom due to condition of the devices themself.
Replacement of box and installation of ceiling fan on back patio.
Concerns of airflow and temperature issues upstairs. Inspection revealed that there is inadequate ducting and zoning for the upstairs. Project manager scheduled and is on the way to discuss further options. Verify drain line is clear. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
No Cool Visit What switch water safety was tripped up when I arrived. After vacuuming the water and firing up the system it became clear that the upstairs damper had failed. I replaced both the upstairs and main floor dampers. The equipment is cooling and functioning properly at this time. Diagnostic fee and April air 213 filter were done as warranty work since the last technician was here on July 3. Replace upstairs zone damper under parts and labor warranty. Verified operation Replace downstairs Honeywell zone damper with and EWC zone damper
I replaced bulbs in the entrance light and replaced a back yard wall sconce with a customer provided flood light.
No cool basement system. Found 2023 TE installed in 24rheem weather king 1.5 ton ac and furnace. Found wet switch tripped upon visual inspection with no water in or near switch. Removed switch from pan wiped bottom off and switch would not close. Found failed wet switch. Replaced switch under warranty and inspected system finding ac is getting slightly dirty. Signed customer up for Homecare and he agreed to clean ac. Cleaned ac and tested system again. System operational upon leaving. Customer had to leave so payment was collected over the phone and all signatures could not be gotten at time of closing.
Excellent service and great at detailing the information!
Initial concerns of main floor unit not maintaining temperature. Noticed main floor furnace is likely original to the home, and both air conditioners are 14 years old. Noticed that the filter was dirty, but is also a MERV 14. This is not recommended for such an aged system, as it will greatly restrict the airflow. Removed filter and system began cooling with a 20° temperature split. Homeowners mentioned that refrigerant had to be added to the system a couple of weeks ago. Advised that this means that there is a leak in the system, which can be a major issue. Several components noticed to be weak throughout due to the age. Outdoor coils also dirty. An estimate is attached to show some of the potential repairs and water safety accessories, as there are currently no water safety devices to protect the ceilings from potential damage. Also recommended having the ductwork cleaned to help with the indoor allergies and overall quality of air. System cooling upon departure. Thank you for choosi
Only System - Not Cooling System not cooling due to a clogged drain line that tripped the flood protection device in the drain. I quoted to clean the drain line and also get on our home care maintenance plan. The homeowner approved this quote and I used my mighty pump and flushed the drain line with 2 gallons of hot water. System is now cooling properly. This system is single-stage, builder-grade equipment and is not designed to support a zoned application. Installing zoning on this type of system can lead to improper operation, increased wear, and premature equipment failure. Zoning systems are best suited for equipment with fully variable-speed or modulating capabilities, which can adjust output to match the varying demands of multiple zones. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified, have a great day!
Replaced 2 story foyer chandelier
Gabe was awesome. He explained everything he was doing in amazing detail. He alerted me to problem areas that I was not aware of and were impacting our ability to cool the home properly. He was very thorough. Great job!
Unclogged drain line for upstairs system a 2018 Lennox, indoor and outdoor. Drain line is now clear. I pour 4 gallons of water down the drain line. Have a video of water coming out of the drain line. Also pour a cup of Endor just to make sure.
Arrived on site to provide an estimate for installing a dedicated outlet for a bidet in the master bathroom. The customer approved the installation of a new dedicated electrical circuit. Installed the dedicated circuit with a dual-function (AFCI/GFCI) breaker, properly secured and supported all wiring, and completed the installation in a neat and professional manner. Tested the circuit and verified that the bidet outlet is operating properly. All work was completed successfully, and everything is functioning as intended.
Arrived on site to complete quoted work. We installed a new overhead mast pipe and wire for a 150 amp service. We install a new grounding system. This consist of two 8ft ground rods, main water bond, and hot/cold water bond. Inspector arrived on site and passed the wiring approval. Power has been restored and everything is working as it should.
Customer had a limb fell on her overhead service and it pulled the neutral/ground out, so the power company came yesterday and disconnected the power. I came out today. Reinstalled a new Weather head because old was damaged and stripped enough of the SCU back to reveal enough ground/neutral for the power company to come and reconnect. I checked and looked at the panel and I did not see any signs of corrosion or burning at the panel.
Google thermostat battery terminals corroded. Batteries are not needed, due to a functioning common wire, though the thermostat will not operate without them. Thermostat is failing. Homeowner already has new thermostat on the way and said he will install himself. Homeowner also scheduling a visit with plumbing due to a bad water leak coming through the main floor living room ceiling.Thank you for choosing TE certified!

Our previous HVAC company kept postponing our Spring Maintenance service, which was concerning to us. Since we already used TE CERTIFIED for our plumbing and electrical needs, we knew we would be getting the same level of quality service if we included their HVAC as well. It turned out to be an eye-opening experience: the numerous overlooked maintenance needs that Gabe Bartee identified after his initial visit made it obvious that it would have just been a matter of time before we experienced serious issues. An added benefit is that we now have peace of mind knowing that the substantial investment we made in a new HVAC system just a few years ago will last us longer than would have otherwise been the case.
