Professional service
Replaced suction line service valve on upstairs system. Outdoor fan motor didn’t start as usual. I had to spin the blades to get it to operate. System is otherwise cooling well and refrigerant pressures look great. I strongly recommend the blower and outdoor dual capacitors to be replaced as a way to preserve both motors as well as prevent a breakdown.
Came back to perform work that was signed off last week, replaced the water service line, replaced PRV and main shut off valve on a new penetration and capped off the old penetration, put tar and concrete on the outside and inside, trench is backfilled and all work is tested no longer a leak detected on meter!
Install a whole house surge protector
For this job the customer stated that the master bathroom shower was leaking and showing itself in the basement. Further inspection showed that the gasket and putty seal for the fiberglass shower drain was old and worn and needed to be replaced. The old gasket was removed and replaced with a new one and liberal amount of putty was placed on the bottom of the drain. The drain was tightened down and tested for approximately 15 minutes for leaks and proper function.
Troubleshot a loss of power in the upstairs bedroom
Original tech for Homecare determined both Upstairs and Main floor systems were low on refrigerant due to a possible leak. Added 1lb to each system to get it operational. Homeowner is aware that this is a bandaid and depending on leak it might not last Both systems are up and running with normal levels Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
Replaced toilet with a customer supplied smart toilet. Trim was removed behind toilet to gain the space needed to install toilet. Not responsible for trim and drywall repairs. Installed a smart shut off valve. Replaced all toilet supply lines. Tested for leaks and function, all good. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified.
For this job, I made repairs for circuits and the panel
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. System low on refrigerant. Outdoor coil dirty. Drain line badly clogged. Necessary repairs made with approval. Advised homeowner that the unit is now cooling properly, though there’s still may be further issues. This includes a failing, TXV and/or a restriction. Estimate attached should those repairs also need to be taken care of. System cooling properly upon departure. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
Homeowner had leak on thermal expansion tank T and P valve and high pressure. Technician also found that water heater did not have data plate indicating that this water heater was out of warranty. After further discussion, homeowner decided that they didn’t want to replace the water heater and only wanted to fix the issues with the heater. Technician replaced thermal expansion tank, T and P valve, ball valve and PRV. PRV was set to 60 psi.
For this job the customer stated that the sump pump located in the garage is not functioning and needs to be replaced. Inspection showed that the discharge line for the sump pump was also pithed incorrectly and holding a large amount of water, however, the customer stated they only wanted the pump replaced. The old pump was removed and plumbed back in with a check valve and ball valve and tested four times to ensure proper function. I also noticed the customers water heater which was void of an expansion tank and a capped off temperature and pressure relief valve, I informed the customer of my findings and she will be considering replacement in the future.
Wire and install new outlet for shot off valve
Performed heating and cooling maintenance inspections on two Trane HVAC systems located on the main floor and second floor/basement areas of the home. System #1 consists of a 2010 Ruud 50K BTU furnace paired with a 2023 Trane 2.5-ton air conditioning system and coil. System #2 consists of a 2023 Trane 60K BTU furnace paired with a 2023 Trane 2.5-ton air conditioning system and coil. Systems were operational at the time of inspection, and refrigerant readings were within an acceptable range during testing. Photos were taken during today’s visit to document system condition, noted deficiencies, and recommended repairs. During inspection of System #1, technician found several concerns affecting overall safety, reliability, and long-term performance. Outdoor disconnect subpanel was found unsecured, and breakers showed visible signs of wear and possible failure. Ductwork was found loose/unsecured in areas, blower motor assembly was heavily dirty, and the system is currently missing TE stan
Great company to do business with.
At arrival on 05/25/26 System was cooling when I got here. Homeowner mentioned that system had ice on the evaporator coil and Conde unit. After diagnostic found the followings: Condenser unit is dirty. No wet safety switch. Weak condenser capacitor.
Excellent
No Cool Advised customer to run fan until ice fully melts in order to properly troubleshoot the equipment. We will need to setup a return visit before Tuesday or on Wednesday as the customer is having surgery Tuesday.
Friendly, efficient
Write a customer’s house and found leak in the garage. Leak is in a hard to access location. We will need to cut between ductwork to repair. Install new copper piping approximately 5 feet with new connections.
Garbage disposal was jammed when I arrived. I used a disposal wrench to unjam the motor. I checked for obstructions and found two pieces of bone lodged inside. I removed the pieces and the disposal now works correctly. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!

Mini split drain line was clogged and cleared. Flushed water through drain and it is no longer leaking at this time. Filters have some dust but not a lot at this time. Be sure to clean these filters every few months to ensure system is operating at peak performance.
No Cool - Upstairs System System low on refrigerant. Found a leak at the suction line service valve. Blower capacitor is low and contactor shows signs of pitting. Heat exchangers both show signs water and metal fatigue. Strongly recommend replacing AC/Coil at minimum. ***Due to the possibility of other issues that could exist I do not advise repairing over replacement ***
Came out yesterday a looked a copper pipe in the garage ceiling that was weeping from a solder joint. Gave options. Returned today with a bigger ladder to repair. Received authorization to enter house through garage via code. Drained down home and removed section of copper. Installed new section of piping and reconnected to hot side of upstairs bath right side vanity. Restored water to home. Tested for leaks and bled air from home. Cut roughly 12x12 inches of drywall on ceiling/wall. Customer was not on site to sign drywall waiver but gave verbal authorization over the phone and left a message yesterday with the office. Customer is out of town. Called accounting to charge card on file. Made sure all doors were locked upon departure.
Systems reported struggling to maintain. Evaluation determined that the issue was the filter. Filters last replaced more than one year ago. After further discussion, the decision was made to proceed with a two system home care plan which would include replacement of the filters today. Verify drain lines were clear and refrigerant. Pressure is good. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
Bryan was profesional, friendly, and knowledgeable.
Customer has a water service line leak between the house and meter. We were able to determine this by turning the water off to the inside of the home. And checking to see if the meter was still spinning. And it indeed was. After turning the water back onto the home, the meter was spinning at the exact same rate. I have given the customer options on how to go about this. And customer opted to have the water service line, rerouted and replaced. This is been scheduled for wednesday. All day of next week. Thank you for choosing and considering t e with your plumbing needs
Customer called us out for a clog in the upstairs son’s toilet. On arrival the toilet was holding dirty water, I flushed it and it had no issues flushing. Customer stated this has been a repeat issue. I recommended toilet replacement and left customer with estimates. Less toilet paper may also help.
Justin did a great job. Personable and informed.
Quick, professional, knowledgeable.
Our previous HVAC company kept postponing our Spring Maintenance service, which was concerning to us. Since we already used TE CERTIFIED for our plumbing and electrical needs, we knew we would be getting the same level of quality service if we included their HVAC as well. It turned out to be an eye-opening experience: the numerous overlooked maintenance needs that Gabe Bartee identified after his initial visit made it obvious that it would have just been a matter of time before we experienced serious issues. An added benefit is that we now have peace of mind knowing that the substantial investment we made in a new HVAC system just a few years ago will last us longer than would have otherwise been the case.
Albert Nah was my service technician from TE today. He was extremely professional, personable, and knowledgeable about what needed to be done for my HVAC maintenance service. He clearly presented all options and provided great suggestions on how to keep my HVAC running. While I was not able to take advantage of some of the higher end additions for my system at this time, Albert was professional and never gave the impression of trying to push extra services on me. I will likely pursue one of them in the future, but it is a relief to deal with a professional who is honest about what I need and how other options can help without putting unnecessary pressure on the customers wallet. I’m happy to have him be the agent anytime we need service. Top marks all around!
Albert did a great job! He answered all my questions. Albert did an excellent job of founding the problem with my AC and fixed it quickly!
Perfect. Will definitely ask for him next time.
Excellent sermvice
Steven and Leo are a great team
The plumbing job I needed was not a simple process. It required rerouting of pipes through a large section of the downstairs with many turns, cutting of drywall, among things that made it a long job. Vincent and Kevin did an amazing job with all facets of this project! Would definitely hire again for other plumbing jobs.
Kyle came over with EJ (assuming EJ is an apprentice) got to work and didn’t et up until the job was done. Very courteous and professional!!
James did such a great job of quickly and accurately diagnosing the problem and fixing the problem that others (from other companies) before him had missed. He was so respectful of my property and kept everything clean and was so nice. I would love for him to be my plumber going forward! Thank you James and TE Electric!
TE CERTIFIED are super responsive, which is great for someone on a shorter timeline. Mr. Hernandez provided cllear expectations, answered my MANY questions, and went above and beyond in setting up my pottery studio. They made sure everything was up to code, and ensured that’s I would have the proper electrical outlets and amount of power I needed for a studio running kilns, wheels and many lights.
Very knowledgeable and respectful
Dylan was professional, understanding, thorough, on time, respectful, and all-around nice. He was considerate and very knowledgeable as well.
Excellent Service!!
First I received a call asking if my tech could arrive early. That was great for me. He was friendly and very informative. I appreciate his excellent service!
Great service
Excellent service
Brian was very professional and got the job done in no time.
Our 50 gallon hot water heater busted and flooded most of our basement. Ben from TE Certified was at our door within an hour of calling the company. He was very professional and gave us three options for replacing our hot water heater. We had a few quotes and Ben’s was right in line with the other estimates. He replaced our hot water heater in a few hours and removed our old one for 2400.00. It has a 10 year warranty. Ben left the job site very clean and he did a great job. I highly recommend TE certified and Ben. This is the 2nd time we have used this company. They previously repaired a leak.
