I was called out to Kathleen’s house for a Homecare maintenance. Kathleen has lived here for about 3 years so we performed a thorough evaluation. During the evaluation we discovered the uv bulb was burnt out and it needs replaced every 3 years, the system/house can benefit from an iWave, there isn’t any return ductwork in the 3 bedrooms which would help maintain the temperature better, the heat pump is a bit dirty, and a superboost would help protect the compressor.

Replaced fans, 1 light and added a light

Arrived on site and customer wanted the 3/4 hp disposal we installed back in October, with a 1 HP customer supplied disposal. Once I replaced the disposal , I ran the water to the sink and tested my connections for several minutes , and I also ran the disposal a few times to ensure no issues.

Customer called us out for clogged bathtub located upstairs first door on the left. We flowed water in the tub and noticed that it was draining slowly. We removed the overflow drain cover and stopper. Hair was removed from the stopper and used the tub gun on the overflow. After the removal was completed we flowed water again with no issues from it draining. Afterwords everything was put back together and cleaned the bathtub.

Arrived on site to troubleshoot a musty odor from the system. When we arrived the client who scheduled the call was at work and unavailable by phone. We met the grandmother at the home who was watching the kid and she didn’t have a ton of background of information on where the smell was coming from or which areas in the house was affected. We told her that we would go through each system thoroughly in attempts to identify the causes for the smell and we completed a comprehensive evaluation of the main floor and upstairs unit. The systems were installed in 2024 and have no mechanical failures. The drains are flushed, filters are changed and the system are heating and cooling within all manufactured specifications. The duct work is original to the home, plenums have dust and debris and there are no indoor air quality enhancements to help mitigate dust, odors, pathogens and VOCs. Customer currently has a standard pressure gas meter. Due to large volume of total BTU load of home, a high pressure 2 psi system needs to be installed. A gas reguatlor should be installed prior to entering the home and also another one installed for outdoor gas appliances (pool heater, grills etc) The gas piping around the meter will need to be reconfigured to install new regulators New shut off valve, sediment trap and gas connector installed to hook up gas to new pool heater Tested work and found no leaks. PRV had failed due to debris in the water service line from a recent damage to the water main by a digging contractor. Pressure was slowly creeping higher when static. Once a faucet was opened, the water flow would drastically decrease. The pressure drop per fixture was 35psi. With the new PRV installed and set to 65psi, the pressure drop per fixture is now 4psi.

No heat 1 system

Service call no heat . When I arrived to the home and was doing my initial inspection I smelled gas . Located gas leak on gas line entering furnace . The furnace had power but was not actuating. The condensate pump was full and had failed cutting off 24 volts to furnace . Replaced necessary gas fittings and replaced pump . Tested work no gas leaks were present and new pump performed well. The furnace is operational and working at this time.

Nick called us out to his home because he had a light that was not working. Nick replaced the light fixture thinking that could be a possible issue and it was not. During my troubleshoot, I found that there was a bad switch due to age and poor install. Nick went with my recommendation of replacing the switches in the bathroom yo hold on one second and if you were.

Today I replace maintenance valves and emergency stop valves for mop sink and replaced PRV and main shut off valve for the home with tags on the main shut off valve for the front hose bib pressurized the system, and checked for leaks and found no issues. Performed a walk-through with Patrick to show him the work that was done and is happy with the results, he is on a water filtration system water heater replacement which I will be sending him quotes to install and replace.

Customer called us out for a blockage in the kitchen sink and the garage utility sink. The kitchen sink was backing up into the utility sink. I recommended jetting. Customer also had an accordion trap in the kitchen. I also recommended endure for drain maintenance. I removed the trap from the kitchen, cut off the trap arm holder and installed the new trap. I then went to jet the line and was unable to have a supply of water due to broken angle stop and frozen hose bib. I came back later after while the angle stop was being fixed and assisted the plumber until it was fixed. I then Ran the jetter down the line successfully clearing the blockage.I put everything back together and throughly tested for clogs or leaks.

Rebecca called us out today and had a few different issues. She just purchased her new home and had some issues flagged in her inspection report. She asked for estimates to fix the issues. She also had a few projects herself. Today to get her working we installed a dryer cord to replace her 3 prong cord that was used prior.

Arrived on site and customer wanted a quote for his Moen flow device installed . I provided the quote and customer agreed for the install . I had to cut out the recently installed PRV and arrange some of the waterline in order to fit the Moen flow , due to the close connections. Once I reconfigured the waterlines, reset the PRV , and installed the Moen flow, I went ahead and turned the water back on and tested my work area. Customer is not living in the home currently as they wait for renovations, therefore customer decided to leave the device unplugged so that way when they are ready to move back in the mow and flow can adjust to the lifestyle.

Customer has a water heater that is leaking from the thermal expansion tank and due to the age and condition of heater technician would recommend replacing the heater. Furthermore technician tested the water pressure to home and found that is was 75 psi indicating that the valve needs to be replaced. Work performed removed 50 gallon electric water heater and installed a new 50 gallon electric water heater with 4 year anode rod upgrade kit. In addition technician installed new thermal expansion tank, drip pan, and new ball valve. Also technician removed old pressure reducing valve and installed a new pressure reducing valve. After installation technician checked pressure to now be safe at 60 psi and tested both PRV and new heater for leaks and found none.
