Job Locations and Reviews
Arrived for no cooling. Inspected zoned Carrier system in attic. Zone board is missing D.A.T.S., Discharge air temperature sensor. Attic system does not adequate flood protection, only has a pan switch installed. Zoned system does not have an by-pass damper and is recommended by Honeywell. Inspected condenser electrical and refrigerant levels. Condenser coil is dirty and recommended cleaning. The 45/5mf dual capacitor has failed and needs replacing to get cooling running. Informed homeowner of issues found and presented estimates for repairs. Replaced dual capacitor it given temperature was in the low 40’s and could not accurately read refrigerant pressures. Recommend scheduling condenser coil cleaning for a warmer day. Emailed estimates and today’s invoice to Viraj as his mother was the only person on site today.
For this job we ran a trouble shoot we found a wire pinched under a pipe that caused some abrasion which was the reason for the living room outlets not working tripping breaker.
Did a home care inspection. Customer had issues with a drip faucet in guest bathroom. With customer approval I installed a moen 1225 shower cartridge. Once installed I check for leaks no other issues was found thanks for choosing TE Certified.
Troubleshoot: Ran a new coax line from the utility box directly is to the office on the backside for a dedicated run from the xfinity line for the home.
Remove section of 3” pvc in crawl where two 45 connections are leaking and install new piping/connections. Remove existing strapping in area and set piping at proper slope then add necessary hangers and support. Also remove section of 3” pvc where coupling is leaking just before clean out on horizontal run in crawl space. If we can manage replacing a smaller section and still catch grade, we can reduce the price to reflect the scope of work (best case 2500) Removed section of pipe that was bowed from strapping and all leaking fitting. We replaced these sections with brand new pvc. Ensured the pipe was pitched correctly and was no longer leaking. Cleaned up work area.
No cool on the upstairs system, due to a leak in the system. System is 24 years old and works with r22 Freon. Also, compressor has high amperage, condenser fan motor also (high amperage), dual capacitor going weak (42 on a 45 microfarad). System is freezing up and not cooling the house. Best option would be to upgrade the system, and bring savings comfort and efficiency back to the house. New systems come with 10 years warranty and WiFi thermostat. Set a lead to quote upgrading for tomorrow after 9am. We should credit back 98,00 spent today, if customer replace the system with us.
Replaced communicating TRANE thermostat. Calibrated thermostat to communicating settings. Verified cooling operation. Also verified heating operation with Daikin fit system to ensure homeowners will have heating during cold spell next week, while we wait on the outdoor board. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
No cool. Only system, 2 zones (zone board is bypassed and both thermostats controls the system). Turned system on cool mode, and system works. Main level thermostat is not calling for cool, only fan works. Upstairs thermostat is working fine. Outside condenser is very dirty, dual capacitor is weak (reading 38 on a 40 microfarad) and no in line switch ( drain line was clogged and I was able to unclog, but it can clog again during hot days). Furnace is 21 years old and ac 8 years old. Also, zone board is bad and it was bypassed by the last tech. As of repair, recommend to install a wet switch, replace dual capacitor, do a chemical wash on the outside condenser and replace main level thermostat. Also, replace zone board, and have thermostats working separately. But, due to the be of the system, highly recommend to upgrade at least the furnace , to make house more comfortable and system more efficient. Also, recommend to sign up for home care maintenance program.
Upon arrive I installed a Gfci breaker for pool, installed 2 GFCI, and installed dimmer in theater
Homeowner was experiencing a high water bill. After assessment, the homeowner spotted water pooling near the walkway in the from yard which indicated water loss from a ruptured pipe. We abandoned the old main waterline and installed a new sleeved HDPE water line. We also replaced the PRV, Main shutoff and Hose Bibb shutoff. The pressure was set to 65psi. All work was tested and checked for leaks. There were no other leaks present at this time.
Home care completed on two systems. Flushed and cleared upstairs drain line. Several potential issues noticed with main floor system. Discussed and presented all options. Necessary repairs made with approval. System is currently operational. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
For this job, I installed a customer supplied kitchen faucet, and installed a badger garbage disposal. I performed work, and tested everything.
In the back closet come off the existing 20 amp quad circuit and complete a circuit extension to the left of the door and wire in and install (2) new location outlets, (1) up high near the light fixture and (1) down low. We will have to make an incision into the wall due to framing in order to fish the new wires and we will install a new plate when completed. In the closet adjacent from the panel room wire in and install a new dedicated 20 amp circuit utilizing a CH duel function breaker.
Replaced switch in garage, gave estimate for whole home redevice due to speed wire and adding a new flood light
On arrival I found that the customer didn’t have pressure out the shower head. With customer approval I removed the shower head to find that it was completely clog. After clearing out the debris I removed the water saver out the shower head as well no other issue was found thanks for choosing TE certified.
Today we ran a new 60 amp circuit from the panel to the garage where we installed a customer supplied Tesla Charger
Cleared blockage in basement toilet with closet auger
Replace water piping in the home. Includes removing all grey poly piping and fittings and installing pex. Install includes all code requirements including insulation in places where it’s necessary. The two shower valves in the home were already pex prior to us starting the job. I connected onto the pex below. Drywall was removed behind the refrigerator and in the laundry room to remove the ice maker line and washing machine box. Two new hose bibs and vacuum breakers were installed on the exterior of the home. Isolation valves were also added. Each fixture received new shutoff valves and steel braided supply lines. A new 50 gallon gas water heater was installed in the garage. An anode warranty extension kit was installed to increase the manufacturer warranty to a total of 10 years. These repairs and installations were tested for leaks and functionality after completion. Thanks for choosing Te Certified!!!
Properly Performed spring/fall maintenance on a whole home system. Replaced the air filter, checked blower wheels for built up dirt/dust, cleaned flame sensors, cleared inducer ports, tested hot surface igniters, took delta Ts, cleared drain lines, tested safety switches, tested all electrical components, tightened all electrical connections, took running volts/amps, monitored systems operations. Cleaned the condenser coil
Customer was having issues with the hot water side of their plumbing system. Checked the tankless unit in the garage and found many issues with the install. The vent is done in dwv piping with too far of a run with too many fittings. It also terminates outside too close to a window. The gas line is the incorrect size. The expansion tank is blown. The check valve are in a poor orientation. Moved heater to the basement and corrected all code issues. Advised customer that they need to contact AGL and have their meter upgraded. Tankless will not work at its max efficiency if this is not done. Tested for leaks and function. No issues.
Home inspection on one system, two zones. Filter is clean, drain line is clear. System is working properly in heating and cooling, however, it’s a two zones system with no bypass installed. Also, upstairs thermostat is located in the master bedroom and upstairs bathroom has different temperature from the rest of the upstairs. This particular bathroom is located above the garage, and the sink room (room before the shower) has no vent or air flow at all. That would make the bathroom with different temperature. Also, recommend to install a in line switch, in the drain line, to prevent water in the drain pan, in case of drain line get clogged and install a blue tube uv light, to give better air quality to the house and to protect equipment from build up biological growth and mold. System is 7 years old and in good conditions. By doing these repairs, will help to prolong the life of the system, nd will improve the air quality in the house. Every zoned system should have a bypass installed,
Fixed pin hole leak in downstairs bathroom. Customer will need to have uponor pex piping taken out and replaced with good quality pex. All quotes provided.
For this job, we replaced a switch and box and also re-ran the whip from the switch to the light.
Customer ordered 3 new faucets and wanted them installed along with 2 basket strainers. We replaced 5 straight stops and added 5 new supply lines along with them.
Arrived for no cooling today. Homeowner stated over night they could smell something like a burnt smell possible from outside. Just outside window are the condensers for 3 systems. The middle one is for main level the older condenser to the left of that is for basement but no longer in use. Inspected condenser electrical, coil and refrigerant levels. Found 40/5mf dual capacitor was bowled up with no readings across terminals. Dryer vent is inches away from upstairs condenser and main level condenser. Recommended condenser coil cleaning before replacing dual capacitor. Homeowner has signed on for 2 system Homecare, main level and upstairs system. Washed condenser coil by pulling fan and panels. After cleaning coil installed new dual capacitor and tested system operation. System is fully operational at time of service. Did not complete Homecare on either system as homeowner had to leave to pick up his daughter.
Brian was very professional and got the job done in no time.
Our 50 gallon hot water heater busted and flooded most of our basement. Ben from TE Certified was at our door within an hour of calling the company. He was very professional and gave us three options for replacing our hot water heater. We had a few quotes and Ben’s was right in line with the other estimates. He replaced our hot water heater in a few hours and removed our old one for 2400.00. It has a 10 year warranty. Ben left the job site very clean and he did a great job. I highly recommend TE certified and Ben. This is the 2nd time we have used this company. They previously repaired a leak.
