Arrived for no cooling today. Homeowner stated over night they could smell something like a burnt smell possible from outside. Just outside window are the condensers for 3 systems. The middle one is for main level the older condenser to the left of that is for basement but no longer in use. Inspected condenser electrical, coil and refrigerant levels. Found 40/5mf dual capacitor was bowled up with no readings across terminals. Dryer vent is inches away from upstairs condenser and main level condenser. Recommended condenser coil cleaning before replacing dual capacitor. Homeowner has signed on for 2 system Homecare, main level and upstairs system. Washed condenser coil by pulling fan and panels. After cleaning coil installed new dual capacitor and tested system operation. System is fully operational at time of service. Did not complete Homecare on either system as homeowner had to leave to pick up his daughter.

NO cool due to bad condenser fan motor and dual capacitor. I also inspected the furnace. There is a crack on the draft inducer motor , blower wheel is super dirty, biological growth in the evaporator coil and heat exchanger is very rusted and compromised. Furnace is 31 years old and ac is 12 years old. Sent estimates for potential repairs . Replace condenser fan motor, dual capacitor, do a chemical wash on the blower wheel and evaporator coil, replace heat exchanger and return plenum, as well. Due to the age and high repair cost, the best option would be to upgrade the system, and bring safety, comfort and efficiency back to the house. Set a lead to quote upgrading for tomorrow after 10 am. We should credit back 98,00 if customer replace the system.

Toilet was constantly running when I arrived. I had previously replaced the flush seal on the toilet. Customer had replaced the chain on the flush valve since my last visit and the chain was getting stuck under the flush valve causing a loss of water. No heat on the main level system, due to a bad circuit board. Got power to the board but no power going out to cycle the heat. System is 24 years old and possible other issues. Customer wants a quote to upgrade the system, instead of spent that kind of money to replace the circuit board and something else is bad. Today we came out for system not cooling 2018 Lennox 2.5 ton with matching furnace found failed digital thermostat, impacted condenser coil and flue piping not up to current code. Gave client options and made immediate repairs. Left all equipment operational.

Customer called us out for a whole home back up. On arrival I pulled the clean out cap and it was empty. I spoke to customer and ran water until there was gurgling in the kitchen sink. I recommended pulling the front door bathroom toilet and clearing through there customer agreed. I pulled the toilet and ran a cable machine down the line successfully clearing the blockage. I reset the toilet, tested and cleaned throughly. Sewer supervisor will be out tomorrow between 2 and 5.

Troubleshoot for dryer, heated floors, basement etc not working. Main breaker for sub panel was tripped. Reset breaker and turned on breakers one by one. Under cab light circuit was tied into kitchen circuit. Circuits tied together caused main to trip. Separated circuit in three gang switch box to fix issue.

Our 50 gallon hot water heater busted and flooded most of our basement. Ben from TE Certified was at our door within an hour of calling the company. He was very professional and gave us three options for replacing our hot water heater. We had a few quotes and Ben’s was right in line with the other estimates. He replaced our hot water heater in a few hours and removed our old one for 2400.00. It has a 10 year warranty. Ben left the job site very clean and he did a great job. I highly recommend TE certified and Ben. This is the 2nd time we have used this company. They previously repaired a leak.

Homeowner had leak on main service line to the house just past the meter box. I dug up and exposed the service line. Located the issue and gave options. I recommended replacing due to the existing line going towards the house is not a the correct depth. This can potentially cause it to freeze or accidentally hit if someone is not careful. The line should be at minimum of 12” deep. Homeowner decided to only repair at this time and we will be emailing estimates for replacement. I replaced the section of pipe with new Pex. Pressurized the system and verified before back filling the hole. Returned to grade and cleaned up.

Arrived on site and customer stated they were experiencing high water pressure throughout the house. I took a pressure reading of the house pressure, and got a reading of 110. I explained that the pressure should be no higher than 80 psi and recommend replacing the PRV. Customer agreed to have the regulator replaced , so I cut out the regulator , as well as put in a new ball valve for the main shut off. Once regulator was set in place, I adjusted the regulator to 65 psi.

On arrival customer had mark the pipe where the leak was coming from. It was only leaking when the hot water was running. After all necessary repairs was made the leak had stop. No other issues was found thanks for choosing TE Certified.

Arrived on site for the downstairs furnace not working due to a tripped breaker. We found the breaker was tripped and would trip without the furnace cycling. We isolated the circuit and found the circuit going into the upstairs attic. We checked wires inside the j box, the furnace and at the switch and discovered the wires at the switch were burnt and the switch was melted and wouldn’t turn on or off. We spoke with client about our findings and he grabbed another switch he had in the garage and asked us to install it. We carefully installed the new switch. Cycled power and tested system operation and restored heat again. We found no concerns with the 2022 Rheem furnace and spoke about the benefits of Homecare. Customer opted to just pay the invoice total and passed on Homecare today. We collected payment via credit card and confirmed system was fully operational upon departure. Call complete.
