No cool on the upstairs system, due to a bad thermostat. Bypassed thermostat and system works. Replaced thermostat and inspected system. System has a weak dual capacitor (reading 32 on a 45 microfarad), contactor is pitted and no in line switch installed in the drain line. Ac is 14 years old and furnace from 2022. Ac is not efficient and can increase the humidity in the house, specially on hotter days. Also, did a complementary inspection on the main level. Rheem system, 20 years old , r22 Freon, system is low on Freon, dual capacitor rusted and weak, contactor pitted, no in line switch, compressor amperage and head pressure very high. Due to the age and conditions of the systems, highly recommend to upgrade thermostat main level system, and the upstairs ac system, as well, and bring warranty, comfort and efficiency back to the house. Set a lead to quote upgrading for both systems for next Wednesday (July 1st), after 2 pm.we should credit 194,95 back spent today, if customer upgrade th
Troubleshoot a garbage disposal Customer called us out for a garbage disposal that was not functioning properly. Upon arrival the customer stated this is the first time they are experiencing this issue. The customer stated when they ran the dishwasher and it started to drain they would notice the water come up through the garbage disposal on the right side. We flipped the switch to turn on the garbage disposal and it would start to make a humming sound. We tested the left side of the sink to ensure there was not a blockage further down the line by running water for a long period of time and we did not see a sign of a blockage. The customer agreed to troubleshoot the issue, we removed the garbage disposal from the mounting bracket and inspected the teeth and we saw food debris and small chain links inside. We removed the food debris and the small chain links around the teeth. We made sure we removed all the debris and we put the garbage disposal back and we ran water to ensure proper
Upon arrival spoke with customer about his loose kitchen faucet that was leaking. This faucet was installed by a contractor. Removed faucet mounting hardware and reinstalled kitchen faucet. Adjusted weight to retract faucet properly. Garbage disposal was grinding as well. Upon investigation contractor removed dishwasher knockout but failed to pull it out of the disposal and it was jammed up inside. Removed plastic knockout as a courtesy and no more grinding was observed. Customer also has a failed expansion tank on his 2014 water heater. Declined replacement at this time. Left quotes for expansion tank replacement as well as options on water heater replacement.
Customer stated that upstairs system works on and off and thermostat went blank for hours and came back live. Inspected system, filter, drain line and visual. Drain line is clear, pressures are in good standing, filter is good and wires connections are good. Tested thermostat multiple times. Found no issue at this visit. Told customer to call us back if it happens again.

Install Ring camera floodlight
1” pex water pipe split along a medium radius bend. Removed and replaced approximately 15 feet of accessible piping. Checked the water heater recirculation settings and set to a more optimal setting for the pex piping. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
Today I responded to a no-cool call. After evaluating the system and taking refrigerant readings, my findings indicate the system may have a refrigerant leak and possible non-condensables affecting system performance. While testing the TXV and system operation, I added a small amount of refrigerant to verify system response. After doing so, the system’s delta T increased and cooling performance improved. I discussed my findings with the customer and explained that the next step is to perform a nitrogen leak test to determine the exact location of the refrigerant leak. Once the leak location is identified, appropriate repair options can be discussed. At this time, the system is cooling and operating, but further diagnostics are recommended to confirm the source of the refrigerant loss and prevent future cooling issues. Customer will follow up to schedule the leak search and necessary repairs.
We installed a Tesla charger in the garage with a smart monitoring device. We replaced multiple non listed breakers in the sub panel, installed whole home surge protectors in both panels, and separated the neutrals in the main panel
The customer had a leak coming from a cold water trunk line on a vertical between the basement and the second floor showing up on the main level and the living room. As well, they had high pressure and PRV. Was, how about 20 years old? And thermal expansion tank was no longer Holding air. Customer agreed for us to expose the leak and find out exactly what was going on. Both the hot and cold wines were in bad repair, and both needed to be replaced. Customer agreed to have the thermal expansion tank. Both the hot and cold trunk lines on the main level, and the pressure regulating valve replaced. I turned the water off to the house and cut out the bad sections of copper and replaced afterwards, I replaced the thermal expansion tank and then replaced the p r v. Afterwards, I slowly turned the water back onto the house and primed all of the air out of the lines and checked for leaks at all work. No leaks. I then checked and adjusted the pressure to the pressure regulating valve. Customers s
Water leaking in the basement due to a condensate tubing broken nd leaking. Replaced part of the tubing and run the system. Drain line and condensate pump is working properly. Condensate pump is very old (recommend to replace it) and no drain on under, or any type of flood protection device installed. Also, supply plenum is too short and water in the return plenum will create biological growth. Filter is leaning against the blower motor (no filter rack) and blower wheel very dirty. Recommend to install a drain pan under the system and under the condensate pump as well, install in line and wet switch, to prevent water leaking ion the floor , do a chemical wash on the blower wheel , replace return plenum and install a filter rack. System is 6 years old and has a lot of issue with air quality in the house and possible oversized to the house.
Homeowners called us out to replaced washer box in laundry room. They’re replacing their washer and dryer. The install company found the valves leaking and said they needed to be replaced. I installed a brand new box with quarter turn ball valve shutoffs. All work was tested and checked for leaks.
Remove and replace faulty A/C circuit breaker
Upon arrival, met with customer and spoke with her regarding their issue. Customer showed me inside and to the main level master bathroom. Customer had a stick on towel hook that fell off the wall and into the toilet. I presented the customer with options to clear the toilet and after getting signature approval I began work. Ran closet auger through toilet and was unsuccessful in clearing it. After speaking with customer I then pulled the toilet and ran the auger from the bottom of the toilet and pushed out the object. Reset toilet and tightened it securely. Returned water to home and repressurized the system. Flushed toilet multiple times. No leaks. Cleaned work area. Customer is satisfied.
I'm a domestic abuse survivor and when I am alone with Andrew in my house, I feel extremely safe. He does an excellent job of listening to me and explaining to me what he is going to do so that there are no surprises. I highly recommend him. I also love the automated processes, efficiency and training at TE across the board with all of their employees.
During today’s visit, we met with the homeowner regarding the replacement of the sewer ejector pump located in the basement. The unit inside the closet was identified as the failed pump and was replaced. The customer previously had the check/shut off valve and a high water alarm system installed by our team. The existing pump failure caused the alarm system to activate. We began by disconnecting power to both the alarm system and the sewer pump. The shut off valve was isolated, and we removed the vent pipe before extracting the failed pump from the basin. A new Liberty Pump was installed. A weep hole was added to the discharge piping to prevent the pump from becoming air locked and to avoid continuous operation that could lead to premature burnout, as the original piping did not include one. After installation, we adjusted the float settings for both the pump and the high water alarm system. The alarm system was tested by allowing the basin to fill until the alarm activated. Once c

No cool due to a tripped breaker. There was some storm last week and after that ac stopped to cool. Reset breaker and system works. Checked compressor, wires connections, pressures, etc, with no issues. Compressor has little higher amperage (11.4 amps out of 19.9 amps). Also, heat exchanger is cracked and there is signs of biological growth on the evaporator coil pan. System is 21 years old and has a cracked heat exchanger.p, and compressor with high amperage. Due to the age and conditions, highly recommend to upgrade the system, with 10 years warranty and WiFi thermostat. Customer denied any quote for replacement at this visit.
Replaced 10yr old water heater with 10 year extended warranty water heater as well as PRV and main shutoff. Previous pressure was at 110psi, but now 65psi. All work was tested and checked for leaks.
Customer called us out for a clogged toilet in the master bathroom. On arrival I tested the toilet and other fixtures in the bathroom. Only the toilet was backing up. I recommended running a closet auger down the line first to see if it would clear the line. It did not and I felt no resistance. I then recommended pulling the toilet and clearing the line with a drum machine. Customer agreed. I pulled the toilet and the right side was not fully flush with the floor, but there were no other issues. I ran my auger down the line successfully clearing the toilet and tested it for 10 minutes using the supply line. No back ups so I reset the toilet and got it to sit flush with the floor. I replaced the closet bolts wax ring and bolt washers. I siliconed around the toilet and tested throughly with no signs of a back up.
Today we replaced the customers water heater with a 50 gallon gas water heater. We also replaced the Prv and main shut off valve to the home. We installed a new quarter turn ball valve for the water heater with a new expansion tank strapped to the wall. We also put the water heater on an elevated pan with a leak alarm in it. We insulated both the hot and cold lines with fiber glass insulation.

Our previous HVAC company kept postponing our Spring Maintenance service, which was concerning to us. Since we already used TE CERTIFIED for our plumbing and electrical needs, we knew we would be getting the same level of quality service if we included their HVAC as well. It turned out to be an eye-opening experience: the numerous overlooked maintenance needs that Gabe Bartee identified after his initial visit made it obvious that it would have just been a matter of time before we experienced serious issues. An added benefit is that we now have peace of mind knowing that the substantial investment we made in a new HVAC system just a few years ago will last us longer than would have otherwise been the case.
Albert Nah was my service technician from TE today. He was extremely professional, personable, and knowledgeable about what needed to be done for my HVAC maintenance service. He clearly presented all options and provided great suggestions on how to keep my HVAC running. While I was not able to take advantage of some of the higher end additions for my system at this time, Albert was professional and never gave the impression of trying to push extra services on me. I will likely pursue one of them in the future, but it is a relief to deal with a professional who is honest about what I need and how other options can help without putting unnecessary pressure on the customers wallet. I’m happy to have him be the agent anytime we need service. Top marks all around!
Albert did a great job! He answered all my questions. Albert did an excellent job of founding the problem with my AC and fixed it quickly!
Perfect. Will definitely ask for him next time.
Excellent sermvice
Steven and Leo are a great team
The plumbing job I needed was not a simple process. It required rerouting of pipes through a large section of the downstairs with many turns, cutting of drywall, among things that made it a long job. Vincent and Kevin did an amazing job with all facets of this project! Would definitely hire again for other plumbing jobs.
Kyle came over with EJ (assuming EJ is an apprentice) got to work and didn’t et up until the job was done. Very courteous and professional!!
