Arrived at the customer’s home to build a quote for re-running the flue vent. The PVC flue vent is ran into a metal flue vent that then runs to the roof in the attic. Performed a full system inspection while here. Tested heating from the thermostat. Measured the electrical component readings. Inspected the safety and cleanliness of the system. Detected carbon monoxide below the flue vent. Checked and replaced the 1” air filter. Reported findings to the customer. Strongly recommended leaving the heat off until the issues are addressed. Left the thermostat in the Off position when leaving.

Installed a 50 gallon gas water heater with a 6 year manufacturer’s warranty. Included new gas and water shutoffs and a water heater pan.

No heat main floor. Found system with pressure switch error. Blew through vacuum tube system started. Found cracked heat exchanger, high amp draw on inducer, pressure switch continued to error out. Pressure switch error caused by cracks heat up allowing gases to escape into home as system was leaking carbon monoxide into home. Blower is dirty, no flood protection and system has single wall flue pipe. Quoted repairs advised customer to not operate system due to leaking carbon monoxide and safety concerns associated with that. Left thermostat in off position. Customer getting quote to replace system on Friday 12-26 at 1pm.

Troubleshoot arcfault tripping. the breaker is good, the connections on the outlet are good, the circuit is not overloaded. My best guess is that certain fridges do not playing well nice with dual function breakers. I believe there is something going on with the fridge itself that is causing the breaker to trip. RESOLUTION: move the fridge to another circuit and see if it trips the breaker or get an appliance repair person out to look at the fridge. Replaced a non UL listed breaker for an ev charger.

Replaced aged garbage disposal that was not working. Tested for leaks and function. No issues.

This job is to install a 12” bypass to the only system in the house. Installed bypass and tested system with no issues. All zones (2) and bypass are working accordingly.

For this job, the customer stated the kitchen faucet had came loose, and it was due to the faucet being hard to move normally causing it to come loose. The customer also wanted the two master bathroom faucets replaced as well. The customer opted to get all three faucets replaced, and to have the plastic shut off valves in the master replaced with new compression style shut offs. Replaced hot surface igniter. Tested performance of unit . The furnace is getting to the end of its life . Everything is operating properly at this time .

We arrived on site to look at light in office. We performed a ballast bypass in an existing fixture. We provided and installed new type B LED bulbs. Everything is working as it should

2 system home care. The heating and cooling was tested . The condensate pump on basement unit was hung up and did not want to pump correctly when filled with water. I also installed a gen 4 google thermostat that the customer provided. On the main level furnace the heat exchanger does have hot spots and is a sign that the heat exchanger will fail . There was no other components bad . The filters did not need to be changed. Left 2 16x25x1 filters for customer.

Home inspection on one system, 2 zones, located in the attic. Checked system in heating and cooling, customer replaced filter (16/25/1). Drain line is cleared. Heat exchanger has some heavy hot spots, no in line switch do the drain line and system is 4.0 tons, with 2 zones and no bypass, to relief the pressure , and it’s a single speed furnace. System is 13 years old (ac is 5 years old) and heat exchanger is compromised. Sent estimates for potential repair (not recommend due to the age and conditions). At this age and conditions, the best option would be to upgrade the furnace (at least), for a variable speed and install a bypass to the system, as well. Set a lead to quote upgrading for Monday after 9am.

Replaced water heater. Installed 6 yr 50 gal gas water heater with 4 yr warranty extension kit for a total of 10 yr tank warranty. Installed on new flat stainless steel water heater stand. New galvanized steel safety pan with the drain ran to the outside of the home. Installed new thermal expansion tank strapped to the wall. Air pressure in thermal expansion tank set to 60 psi. Installed new water heater valve with labeled tag. Installed all new copper piping from wall to top of tank. Installed new gas shut off valve, new gas supply, and new drip leg. Set new gas control valve to 120 degrees. Cleaned all tools and material from work location. Swiped up floors and mopped area. Customer wanted new thermostat for upstairs system. They had purchased ecobee to be used. Asked about inspecting system and informed customer couldn’t grantee operations of system without inspecting today, and spoke about Homecare. Customer agreed to homecare. Homecare visit scheduled for monday morning. Installed ecobee and tested sysytem functions. Given age of upstairs system performed carbon monoxide inspection. 0ppm detected. Tested cooling turns on. Ac turned on. Did find the inducer tubing had cracked and broken off before testing system. Reattached and advised the tube was very small for its connection and would likely fall off again. Noticed no flood protection for upstairs system. Quoted repairs visually found.

We performed a quality control check for the newly installed whole home Generac generator, and did a transfer test and ran the house on generator power

Arrived on site and customer stated water was coming out from underneath the water heater in the garage . I found that the heater was leaking from the unit and into the pan , as it had rusted out . I provided the customer with a few options to choose from which included a 4 year extended warranty kit and an ionizer. I then proceeded with the install . After heater was installed , we checked all connections and filled the heater . Once filled we turned the unit on and check for the flame and set the temperature to 120.

Install dimmer switches in various areas. Install 2 gfci outlets in the kids bathroom.

Install new 26kw generator to the home. This unit will provide backup power to the whole house. We will install load shedding at the furnaces and the water heaters.

During our visit, the customer mentioned is selling the house and needed a couple things fixed. The inspector pointed out that the water heater flue was missing a heat shield, and the hose bib on the right side of the home needed to be secured. An estimate was presented to the customer and approved. The single wall venting on the water heater replaced with double wall pipe and fittings. A thimble was added on ceiling as the flue pipe passes through the drywall. The hose bib was also secured and siliconed. These repairs were tested for functionality after completion. Arrived at the customer’s home to find the cause of no heat. Upon arriving, the system functioned after turning on the gas and power. Asked the customer to keep an eye on it and see how it runs, as now it is doing everything it is supposed to. Signed the customer up for the Homecare maintenance plan. Tested heating from the thermostat. Measured the electrical component readings. Inspected the safety and cleanliness of the system. Checked the 4” media filter. Cleared the drain line and treated the evaporator coil with pan treatment tablets. Reported findings to the customer.

2 system home care . The upstairs had a loose supply vent blowing in the attic. Repaired supply vent and secured. There was no components bad on either unit . Tested in heating and cooling . Changed filters customer provided.
