Complete the following work in the basement: In theater room I moved the existing circuit #40 and tapped it on with circuit #32 which now controls the back basement lights and 1/2 the theater outlets. In doing this allowed me to create the space needed to wire in and install a new dedicated 20 amp circuit for the tv equipment. I installed a junction box inside the basement utility closet and then installed (3) wires to each device. I made the homeowner aware that we would have to make cuts where needed in order to fish the circuits. We wired in (3) new location outlets on the (1) 20 amp circuit. We wired in two speaker wires per customers request on location and had them come out but he outlets. Arrived on site to troubleshoot recliner outlet not working. While performing the troubleshoot we noticed the home has a challenger panel. We discussed the issues with this panel with the homeowner and recommended replacement. We also noticed some wiring in the basement that is concerning. In order to fix the outlet upstairs, we had to rewire existing switch set up so that the upstairs recliner outlet has constant power. We did this by bypassing a switch in the basement. We recommended to the homeowner to have the basement rewired before finishing. Everything is working upon departure.

I replaced an oversized breaker, GFI protected the kitchen counter and back wall garage outlet at the breaker, replaced the outlet in the back left room on the front wall, and I corrected the open splice leading to the light fixture in the garage.

Disconnect dryer vent at dryer to remove existing dryer vent cover assembly and install new assembly with louvres, seal around the outer cover and reconnect vent at dryer with hard pipe and seal pipe connections. One year labor warranty

We were called out due to a broken Cpvc 90 on the hot water supply piping in between the garage and laundry room wall we opened Sheetrock to expose the broken fitting. We replaced roughly’ 15’ of cpvc piping with Pex piping, installed a new rear hose bib and two hose bib shutoff valves. We opened an additional Sheetrock to perform this work. We also replaced the water heater, expansion tank, main shutoff valve and pressure reducing valve. No warranty on existing Cpvc water piping in the home. Thank you !

Arrived on site and customer stated they received a large increase in their water bill and thought maybe they are having a leak but needed help verifying where the leak could be coming from. I ran a troubleshoot by isolating the mainline to the meter and found that the meter was still running after isolating a few different areas in the home. It was concluded that customer has a possible slab leak on the hot side, which would feed the kitchen. Customer later stated that there has been spots in the kitchen/mudroom that have felt warm to the touch. I recommended to the customer about having a leak detection technician, come out and locate a slab leak.

I troubleshot a power loss to the disposal and discovered the switch had gone bad. I replaced the switch and now the disposal runs.

We replaced the GFCI in the kitchen

Move floodlight location and installed new floodlight. Also move tv outlet in living room behind tv.

Today we installed a customer supplied Emporia charger, the smart management system, and a whole house surge protector. Customer is aware that we had to combined a couple of lighting circuits. We will need to return because the Emporia smart management system was bad. The customer will call in when he gets the new system.

Homeowner reported error code 12 on a Rinnai tankless water heater, along with low water pressure in the master shower. Debris was found obstructing the shower aerator. The technician removed the debris, and full water flow was successfully restored. Water heater error code 12 investigation revealed a gas leak at a connection point on the tankless unit. Additionally, the units air intake was routed inside the same mechanical room. The technician determined that the gas leak progressively displaced available oxygen in the confined space. Once the combustible gas concentration reached a sufficient level, the unit safety protocols triggered error code 12, causing a shut down. The technician identified that no check valve was installed on the tankless water heater, which is required for proper system operation. Upon arrival, met with customer and spoke with them regarding their issue. Customer showed me inside and to their upstairs master bathroom. Customer states that the left lavatory sink drains very slowly and they would also like to clear out the other sink at the same time. Customer also showed me the shower where there is a slow drip coming from the shower head even when the handle is off. I confirmed the slow draining sink. Customer has two Moen shower valves in their shower. I informed him that they could either reach out to Moen to order the new cartridge through warranty or I can remove the existing one and see if I can find a new one in stores to replace it with. Replacing the shower cartridge will fix the leak coming from the shower head. Gave customer separate estimates for sinks and the shower. Upstairs - Not cooling - 5yr old Trane System not cooling due to failed starting components on the outdoor unit, a dirty condenser coil, dirty blower motor, weak blower motor not reaching full rpm, and I also observed that the heat exchanger has multiple cracks in it. I made a few repair options to the system back up and running and the homeowner approved option B, to replace the failed starting components and chemical clean the outdoor coil. The furnace for this system is 22 years old and had multiple issues including a cracked heat exchanger, dirty blower wheel, and weak blower motor. The blower motor nitric moving the designed amount of air across the evaporator coil in the attic is putting strain on the compressor and is part of today’s issue. Due to the age, condition, and not all repairs available for a 22 year old system, I recommended updating this equipment.
