Tech is out to perform an inspection checked entire system out. Reason for being here today is a check up on system and also airflow in master bedroom and in living room. Customer has showed me one of the vents in the master bedroom stated that there is no airflow coming out. Confirm that it is a return vent. Living room has high ceilings . Causes in heat to rise in the open space to upstairs causing it to be hotter. Customer was interested in zoning the home. Let customer know that system is a one stage and would need to be a variable speed system would have to replace system to add damper and complete zoning . The following the tech has came across. Gas pressures are not set correctly. Gas pressures are supposed to be set to 3.2. Yours is reading 3.6. This is too high for your system. No wet switch and drain pan. There is a safeguard, but this will only shut system off when drain pan is full of water. Recommend clearing drain line to verify there is no clogs. Secondary hole where a
Arrived on sight to install heater in play room, installed 50 amp circuit on a new 50 amp breaker. In doing this we had to rearrange a couple of existing circuits in the electrical panel. We mounted the new heater in the center of the room. We added support in the attic for it to mount too. Installed flex going into heater.
Customer had a sink that was backed up due to buildup in the drain. She noticed it because she was running water a small drip just so the pipes wouldn’t freeze in all the sinks and overnight. The sink flooded due to having a back up and flooded downstairs into the floor and through the ceiling. Customer already have a restoration company out. I took apart the drain and removed all hair buildup, and gunk that was in the drain, causing the back up. And after testing the drain is working fine now with no backups and no leaks.
Arrived on site for an ecobee installation that client provided. His old nest thermostat has a 4 wire application and the ecobee needs a common wire. We removed the old thermostat and left it on site for client to use elsewhere, removed the 4 wire thermostat wires, pulled in 5 wire thermostat wire and mounted the new ecobee leveled on the wall. We hooked up all neccesary wires at W, G, Y, C and R, let the thermostats calibrate and cycled in heat to test operation. The system is straight AC with heat strips so we set the system up as a traditional unit so the W wire powers heat strips with a call for heat. Client thanked us for coming out, we cleaned up and ensured system was fully operational upon departure. Call complete.
Called out to address a leak coming from the dining room ceiling. Put arrival homeowner showed me to the master bathroom that was the cause of the leak. Homeowner noticed a leak after running the shower yesterday morning. Advised homeowner that I would need to cut open the drywall to see if I could find where the leak was coming from. Homeowner agreed and work was started. Cut up and drywall in the spot where most of the water accumulated and found that there was a toilet located above that spot. Cut more drywall in order to find where the shower is located. The shower was located approximately 10 feet to the right of where the toilet it was located. There was very little water residue by where the shower drain was prompting that potentially was not be the cause of the leak. After flushing the toilet found that there was a slow drip coming from where the wax seal had failed on the toilet. Advise the homeowner that we would need to do a pull and reset on the toilet in order to replace t

Supply and return plenum are duct board and supply plenum is not correct size for equipment. Recommend replacing both with metal plenums. System lacks proper flood protection. Tested thermostat. System operating at this time.
Excellent Service
Arrived on site for an odd noise coming from the downstairs furnace/plenum. The plenum was located under a drop ceiling and was making a loud rattling noise. It was running and rattling against the hard piped duct work and making a loud noise. The duct work was easily manipulated to fix the noise but with the age and condition of all the duct work, long term solution may require some design consultations to get the airflow/duct work replaced. We did sign up for Homecare while on site and looked through each system in totality. Both units have 2006 trane AC systems and upstairs has a 2006 trane furnace, while downstairs was replaced in 2019. The upstairs unit, we found, has a cracked heat exchanger among many other concerns we spoke about. Downstairs is newer and without major issues but we still have a lengthy repair list for items discussed today, which we emailed over. Upstairs we have a comfort advisor coming out to discuss long term solutions from 2-5. Systems are fully operational
Excellent

Homeowner has an older Mansfield toilet in the master bathroom that needs to be replaced. Homeowner also has a Moen Positemp shower that is constantly dripping in the hallway bathroom. Homeowner would also like to trim out that shower as well. Removed old trim plate, tub spout, shower head and shower arm. Installed new customer supplied shower arm and shower head. Installed new customer supplied tub spout. Installed new Positemp cartridge. Installed new trim plate and handle provided by homeowner. Turned water on and ran shower to ensure proper function. Ensured hot and cold are on respective sides. Ensured faucet shuts off when it’s supposed to and no longer drips. Caulked around tub spout, overflow plate and trim plat with white caulk. Removed old Mansfield toilet and disposed of toilet. Upon removal of the old toilet, I found that the old PVC flange was broken in two places, most likely due to over-tightening of the closet bolts based on the location of the cracks. Removed failed
