ML thermostat is not powering up. Furnace does not display any lights as it has been tested to not be receiving 120 volts. Tested voltage at the power switch and I have no voltage at the switch from the main breaker panel either. Due to this voltage issue being from the main breaker panel our electrical dept will be required to further assist you. I have contacted the office to have an electrician dispatched to your home for diagnostics and repair quote. Once power is restored to the furnace your system should begin operating as it was previously. If you still have further concerns, have us scheduled for a return visit within 30 days and we will waive the service fee that you have paid today. I did replace both 16x25x1 filters with today’s service fee.
Replaced shower drain. Repiped shower waste and attached to existing piping. Replaced toilet and shut off valve to toilet. Installed a new thermal expansion tank. Tested for leaks and function. All good. No warranty on water connections due to incorrect piping material. Cannot warranty against freezing due to pipe location. Suggest replacement of water pipes. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified.
10 Year Parts Warranty
Repair damaged 4” sewer pipe at entrance to septic tank. Provide a lifetime workmanship warranty
Home inspection on two systems. Filters are clean , drain lines are clear. System on the right side has compressor compromised and has very high amperage of 6.5 (shouldn’t be higher than 8 amps). System not cooling properly. System on the left side has a bad condenser fan motor, weak dual capacitor (reading 18 on a 30 microfarad). Neither of the systems has in line protection for the drain line. Sent estimates for potential repairs (not recommend). At this age (15 years old) and conditions, the best option would be to upgrade both systems, with 10 years warranty and WiFi thermostat. Set a lead to quote upgrading for both basements systems for today after 3 pm. We should credit back 238,00 spent today, if customer replace the systems with us.
Upon arrival, met with customer and spoke with her regarding their issue. Customer has experienced multiple backups within the last few months and is now experiencing one again. Customer has had a septic company out within the last couple months to pump the tank and repair field lines and was informed these are good. I inspected the issue and confirmed the presence of a blockage. Presented customer with options to pull a toilet and clear the main line and recommended that a sewer supervisor comes to the home to further diagnose the cause of this issue. After getting signature approval I began work. Removed toilet and ran k-400 machine roughly 40’ downstream. The cable was hitting a very hard blockage and began binding up badly. At this point the camera arrived and we ran the camera as far as possible. Customer’s issue is at the entrance to the septic tank and a repair has been scheduled same day. Customer will only be charged for Endure instead of snaking the drain. Customer is satisfi
Installed ceiling fans
Today I performed a home care inspection, and installed a new outlet in the closet by the garage
For this job, I replaced an outlet, installed a new outlet, and installed a outlet on a caseta switch.
Existing hot is missing neutral feed to spa panel. Reran circuit and replaced spa panel. Also installed surge protection to spa panel. Need to return to sleeve conduit. Customer is responsible for burial of pipe.
Install whole home surge pro and customer provided tesla with pipe in garage but also using crawl
Replaced faulty 3 way switch
Called out for leaking expansion tank. Replaced expansion tank and secured with stainless steel bracket. Replaced pressure regulating valve and set pressure to 65 PSI. Purged lines and tested system for proper operation. Homeowner informed no warranty on water heater due to age and unit not being supplied by TE Certified.
Completed diagnosis of tripping breaker
Customer called us out for a clog in the upstairs hall bathroom. I tested the toilet and recommended running a closet auger down the line and the customer agreed. I ran a closet auger down the line successfully clearing the blockage. I then tested and cleaned throughly.
Troubleshoot flickering lights
On today’s visit, we were called out here because the house is going up for sale and the new homebuyers are wanting to get the pressure regulator replace for it has failed and has high-pressure sitting at stagnant 100 psi. Pressure that high will put more wear and tear on the plumbing system. I recommend replacing it with a new PRV with higher grade model. There is the option of putting the same type of PRV that is currently in the system that has a lower life expectancy. Both would require cutting into the Sheetrock to replace the PRV. Also noticed that the water heater is about to be 20 years old and highly recommend getting it replaced sooner rather than later before it becomes an issue. Signs that you would notice from the water heater are either no hot water is in the system or water will be leaking from the bottom and onto the floor. I have built an estimate to replace the water heater and PRV at the same time on a bundle deal. The water heater will be submitted for inspection
For this job, we installed an outlet for a central hood and pulled off the cooktop outlet for it. We also replaced the breaker with a dual-function breaker.
Troubleshot a loose connection in an outlet
Upon arrival spoke with customer about two shower cartridges that he purchased and wanted replaced. Water was off to the house upon arrival. Gave options. Explained that customer supplied parts carry no warranty. Removed cartridges. Valves were in rough shape and had lots of calcium build up. Used a pick scraped as much calcium/build up out of the valves as possible and cleaned out valves. Installed new cartridges. Stand up shower was no longer dripping but the tub/shower combo still had roughly a 10 second drip. Reccommend the valve be replaced and left estimate as the build up is preventing the cartridge from making a proper seal. If customer decides to move forward with shower valve replacement I will credit back half of today’s repair cost towards replacement. Checked water pressure and got a reading of 85 psi and determined the expansion tank had failed as well. Left the customer options.
Performed buyers inspection
For this job, I replaced a ceiling fan
Arrived to the property and spoke with the homeowner in regards of a potential leak coming from the upstairs hallway bathroom toilet. Customer states she noticed the water stain on the kitchen ceiling, also informed us the bathroom was remodeled completely and the flange was repaired before. Upon our findings we noticed the coupling for the toilet drain wasn’t glued which was the reason water was dripping down into the kitchen; also the flange was set below the tile so the toilet didn’t have a water tight seal which was also contributing to the leak. Accessed the plumbing by cutting into the saturated area of the kitchen ceiling to expose the plumbing, also made it clear to the homeowner we are not responsible for sheetrock and do not replace and/or repair it. Homeowner approved the work, we installed a new PVC flange while ensuring the flange was set at an appropriate level and rebuilt the drain to ensure no leaks would occur. Homeowner also provided a kitchen faucet she wanted us to
For this call, we came to complete sold work for replacing tub shoe due to the stop being broken. Upon arriving, we began by removing standing tub that was recently installed by TE. Afterwards, we had to cut access below tub for this repair for future maintenance. A louvre vent was placed in the ceiling for access. After installing new shoe, we had to reset the tub on the floor and tightened down the tubular from below. Filled up the tub to the overflow multiple times with water to see if there were any leaks from drains. After we confirmed testing, we sealed up the tub to the floor and cleaned up behind us. Informed customer to not use tub for the silicone to cure properly for roughly 24 hours. The removal of tub was done as a courtesy due to parts failure warranty and being an existing customer of TE, essentially the homeowner paid todays work for the access panel and for the tub shoot repair. Thank you for trusting TE Certified with all your plumbing needs.
One system maintenance. The customer bought home care on this visit. I did the home care maintenance. The next checkup will be in the fall for hvac. The components on system checked out . There wasn’t a wet switch I added a wet switch to pan for added flood protection. The unit was tested in heating and air . Tested drain line and pump and added cleaner. The refrigerant levels were acceptable and deta t looked good
Albert Nah was my service technician from TE today. He was extremely professional, personable, and knowledgeable about what needed to be done for my HVAC maintenance service. He clearly presented all options and provided great suggestions on how to keep my HVAC running. While I was not able to take advantage of some of the higher end additions for my system at this time, Albert was professional and never gave the impression of trying to push extra services on me. I will likely pursue one of them in the future, but it is a relief to deal with a professional who is honest about what I need and how other options can help without putting unnecessary pressure on the customers wallet. I’m happy to have him be the agent anytime we need service. Top marks all around!
Albert did a great job! He answered all my questions. Albert did an excellent job of founding the problem with my AC and fixed it quickly!
Perfect. Will definitely ask for him next time.
Excellent sermvice
Steven and Leo are a great team
The plumbing job I needed was not a simple process. It required rerouting of pipes through a large section of the downstairs with many turns, cutting of drywall, among things that made it a long job. Vincent and Kevin did an amazing job with all facets of this project! Would definitely hire again for other plumbing jobs.
Kyle came over with EJ (assuming EJ is an apprentice) got to work and didn’t et up until the job was done. Very courteous and professional!!
James did such a great job of quickly and accurately diagnosing the problem and fixing the problem that others (from other companies) before him had missed. He was so respectful of my property and kept everything clean and was so nice. I would love for him to be my plumber going forward! Thank you James and TE Electric!
TE CERTIFIED are super responsive, which is great for someone on a shorter timeline. Mr. Hernandez provided cllear expectations, answered my MANY questions, and went above and beyond in setting up my pottery studio. They made sure everything was up to code, and ensured that’s I would have the proper electrical outlets and amount of power I needed for a studio running kilns, wheels and many lights.
Very knowledgeable and respectful
Dylan was professional, understanding, thorough, on time, respectful, and all-around nice. He was considerate and very knowledgeable as well.
Excellent Service!!

Great service
Excellent service
Brian was very professional and got the job done in no time.
Our 50 gallon hot water heater busted and flooded most of our basement. Ben from TE Certified was at our door within an hour of calling the company. He was very professional and gave us three options for replacing our hot water heater. We had a few quotes and Ben’s was right in line with the other estimates. He replaced our hot water heater in a few hours and removed our old one for 2400.00. It has a 10 year warranty. Ben left the job site very clean and he did a great job. I highly recommend TE certified and Ben. This is the 2nd time we have used this company. They previously repaired a leak.
Mike was very knowledgeable, he did a thorough investigation of my issue and provided me with the details of what he found. He was patient with answering my questions. Excellent customer experience.
