Water was leaking from the ceiling in the garage and the bathroom on the other side of the wall. Cut a hole in the garage ceiling and the bathroom ceiling to locate leak. Hot water line located above the bathroom had a split directly after a tee and was spraying water toward the subfloor above. I replaced the tee and a small section of pipe.

Called out because the gas company had shut off the gas at the home to do a gas line repair, and when they went to relight the water heater, they found that the flu vent was not connected to the top of the water heater. Reconnected the flu vent as a courtesy and relit the water heater. Gave homeowner multiple estimates for either replacement of the water heater, or to re-piping the water heater to meet code requirements. Customer had a failed expansion tank. The t & p valve would drip a small amount of water due to thermal expansion but it didn’t drip when water heater was not heating the water up. Troubleshoot detached garage not working Feed the detached garage and size it to the correct breaker and wire size. We will also install a grounding system and install a new panel for the detached garage with a main disconnect.

Installed a new bath fan in the upstairs bathroom and vented it to the soffit and also installed a new Outdoor Outlet on the front of the home.

Customer noticed a bad water leak early in the morning and shut off the water as a result. Came in today and was successful in locating leak in the living room ceiling on a hot line. Would recommend cutting out session of leaking pipe and installing a new piece of pipe to get the leaking to stop. After fixing the leak We then checked water pressure and found it to be high at 100 psi. We also found that the thermal expansion tank has been ruptured and it’s full of water and would need to be replaced in order for it to be working properly. Work performed…. Cut out section of leaking hot water pipe and installed a new section of piping. In addition we cut old pressure reducing valve and installed a new double union pressure valve restored water, and rechecked pressure and found it to be good at 60 psi. Also removed old thermal expansion tank installed a new thermal expansion tank.

Installed a new ceiling fan in the front room downstairs and the upstairs bedroom as well as replaced the kitchen light fixture.

Arrived at the customer’s home to inspect their whole home HVAC system to find the cause of a reported gas smell. Tested heating and cooling from the thermostat. Measured the refrigerant pressures and electrical component readings. Inspected the safety and cleanliness of the system. Checked the 1” air filter. Treated the condensate pump with pan treatment tablets. Left the thermostat in the “off” position. Reported findings to the customer. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

For this job, I ran a new circuit for an induction cook top. I ran a 30 amp circuit from main panel to kitchen. I also installed two tandem breakers to make room in the panel.

No Heat/Cool - Upstairs Trane equipment, system nit heating for multiple reasons. The heat exchanger is cracked in a few places. The high limit is burnt, and the main transformer is fried “failed”. The blower motor is seeping oil at main seal and the blower wheel is impacted with debris. The system also lacks a wet switch, coil flood protection switch, and the gas line is not up to code. The drip legs is not up to code and allowing sediment to flow into the gas valve. After going over the issues and condition of the equipment the homeowner requested we send out an install supervisor to go over updating equipment, I set this appointment up with dispatch for today 3-6pm. No heat thermostat issue main floor. Found dead batteries in thermostat. Customer agreed to $29 special for furnace inspection given age. Found dirty blower wheel, weak run capacitor, heat exchanger has signs of wear, minimal flood protection and slightly high amp draw on inducer motor. Quoted repairs and spoke about Homecare. Customer to review options and make decisions.

Called out originally to diagnose a leak in the garage ceiling. Found that on the garage ceiling, relative to the master bathroom shower upstairs, there was a residue of a leak at some point that currently was not leaking. After running the shower and vanities in said location found that neither were leaking when running. Homeowner states that when they filled the tub and drained it from a different bathroom that that is when the leak would occur. Fill the tub to test, held water in tub for approximately 30 minutes and no leak occurred. When speaking to the homeowner in the garage, approximately 20 minutes after shutting off all sources of water, the leak started to happen in the garage ceiling. Since the leak started when no fixtures were running, began by only running single fixtures and waiting to see if the leak would reappear. Ran the shower in the master bathroom for approximately 30 minutes and no leak occurred, but after approximately 15 to 20 minutes after shutting off the sho
