When I arrived, all plumbing fixtures had no water flow. I checked the water meter and main shutoff valves to make sure the water was on and both were in the full open position. I checked the water pressure and the gauge read 0 psi. I loosened the PRV union and slowly cracked the main shutoff open and found full water pressure. The PRV had failed fully closing stopping all water flow. Installed new PRV and main shutoff valves. Tested multiple fixtures and water flow was restored. Set water pressure to 65psi. Arrived at the customer’s home to find the cause of uneven airflow. The customer was experiencing a high volume of heat to the upstairs zone and hardly any airflow on the downstairs zone. Found that the Honeywell damper for the upstairs was set to a “3”, meaning it is always 50% open when it is in the “closed” setting. This has been adjusted down to a 0, meaning it is completely closed when the upstairs thermostat is not calling for heating/cooling. Manually opened the main floor damper and ensured it opens and closes with voltages properly. Under warranty, ran a new thermostat wire between the furnace and the zone board. Customer approved to perform quoted repairs on the system. Picked up the material from Apex Supply Marietta. Disconnected the 14” duct from the main floor zone damper. Removed the older zone damper. Installed a replacement Honeywell zone damper and ensured it was secured to the collar with screws. Reconnected the ductwork and tested operation. While testing operation

This job I did a leak troubleshoot for homeowner, the homeowner has a mysterious sound that he says he only hears when he runs plumbing upstairs. We tried to re-create the event. There is no sign of a leak anywhere no sign of water no sign of water spotting underneath in the living room. No temperature variance anywhere on any surfaces. There is no indication of a leak anywhere on the main or supply piping water bill has not increased whatsoever. I detected no sign of a leak.

Water heater had a slow leak from the tank. Installed new Rheem 50 gallon natural gas water heater. Water is sitting on a short stand to elevate it above the flood level of the drip pan. The pan is equipped with a water leak alarm and the drain is capped. I replaced the expansion tank, valves, water piping, gas flex connector, and sediment trap. For this job, I did a leak troubleshoot for the homeowner. We isolated the main service between the meter and the shut off inside and there was no leak detected within opened up the main shut off and checked the meter again. I watched it for over 30 minutes the meter did not leak whatsoever. This is not a main service or supply leak. After we notated these two facts we went inside and tried to re-create the event, to no avail. I recommended the homeowner keep an eye on the situation and told her if anything arises to give me a call.

Homeowner called us out to explore suspected area for a leak in the pantry ceiling. After exposing the stain ceiling, I thoroughly examined and tested the drains for the upstairs guest bathroom. After several test, there was no obvious leak at this time. The ceiling will be left open for a duration of time while the homeowner uses the bathroom to recreate the issue. The homeowner will have us back out if anything arises.

Homeowner has 6 toilets that she would like replaced. The toilets are in the master bathroom, first floor powder room, basement powder room, basement bedroom bathroom, and both upstairs bedroom bathrooms. Shut off water at stop valves. Removed old toilets, old supply lines, old wax ring and old closet bolts. Inspected flanges to ensure they are not damaged. Installed new wax rings and nylon closet bolts. Installed new supply lines. Built toilets before setting toilets. Set toilets and ensured proper fit. Flushed toilets each approximately 5-10 times to test for leaks. Caulked toilets to floor. Toilets in first floor powder room and master bathroom had to be shimmed to sit properly, instructed homeowner to wait at least 24 hours before using them to allow caulk to cure. Other toilets set very well, did not require shimming. Toilets are Kohler Memoirs Water pressure in house is 60 PSI Water heater is from 2021

Customer stating upstairs unit not heating. System upstairs is a heat pump/air handler from 2007. Inspected upstairs system air handler and outdoor heat pump. Checked heat strips, wiring, and drain line. Checked capacitor, contactor, wiring and charge which we found that they system is low on refrigerant which is R22. Evap coil is rusted and there is a leak at the Schrader core at true suction side. No safety switches on upstairs. Dirty blower wheel…. No repairs available for R-22 only option is replacing. Inspected main floor/basement system which is a 4 ton air handler and 3.5 ton heat pump. Checked wiring, heat strips, and voltage for condensate pump not hooked up . No emergency drain pan for condensate pump . No emergency drain pan under air handler , nor safety switches. Thermostat wiring to main floor thermostat is not hooked up so basement thermostat is controlling both floors . Condenser coil needs cleaning. Disconnect is needing replaced . Inspected full system due to customer concerns about loud noise coming from outdoor unit. Checked complete system and showed customer noise is coming from auto defrost. Checked filter which was good checked wiring, drain line, ductwork, airflow, capacitor, contactor, and pressures for heat pump. Prices that are on the estimate is for home care members only , this is just to show you what you could be saving. You get 10% off all and any repairs. Let customer know that the disconnect is cracked and tech is unable to pull out disconnect. This is needing to be replaced. Stated that she will notify the builder due to. She is under one year labor and warranty. There is no wet switch and drain pan. There is a regular float switch wet switch detects water between 2 to 3 drops and shut system off. Tech recommended UV light for the air handler so growth and bacteria does not grow inside. We troubleshoot multiple rooms without power. We found that the breaker that those outlets were connected to has burned up on the bus bar in the electrical panel. We wrote multiple estimates for repairs and we replace the breaker and move it to a different spot in the electrical panel. This option does not come with a warranty

The homeowner requested an evaluation of multiple plumbing issues in the basement and selected a bundled service option to address them. Work performed included resealing the sewer ejector pump basin lid with silicone and reworking the PVC vent piping, ensuring the gasket was properly installed for a secure seal. We replaced and secured the water heater expansion tank, flushed the water heater, extended the gas piping through the wall to install a dedicated shut-off valve, and connected the gas line to the water heater using a flexible connector. In the basement, we installed a washer box and icemaker box, a utility sink with a Liberty 404 pump tied into the main sewer line, and a new ½-inch gas line for a basement gas stove. All plumbing and gas installations were tested upon completion and confirmed to be operating properly and leak-free.

Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. Today we came out for the only system not heating properly 2001 ICP 75k natural gas furnace located in the attic. Cycled equipment from attic found high limit switch opening. Inspected heat exchanger with digital camera found crack on second eye lid on right side of cell. Brought client into attic and showed them findings and tagged equipment unsafe to operate in heating mode due to carbon monoxide fumes. System has minimal flood protection and gas line is not up to current code sediment trap was installed wrong. Scheduled install supervisor to give options on updating equipment.

Tech was out due to noise coming from hvac system. Tech checked system and found that reason from noise is due to when they had the ac on , the pvc drain line is connected to the drain in laundry room. So when ac was on customer could hear water dripping and gurgling. Let customer know that this is normal when there is no water in p-trap. Also while checking system tech notice the following. Filter is needing to be changed , wet switch needs to be added in drain pan. Uv light needs to be added into air handler to kill growth and viruses. Blower is needing to be cleaned, if customer decides to go with Uv light and blower cleaning , tech would clean evaporator coil at no charge. Condenser is needing to be chemically cleaned. The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today.
