Replace cast iron/concrete sewer line from house to street by traditional trenching with excavator. We will need to dig 9’ deep at the house, 10’ deep at the curb and 80’ in length. Arrived for no cool. 1998 ac. Older furnace. Found fan not running outside due to bad capacitor. Also found burnt wires in the outdoor unit. Inspected indoor unit and found a heavily deteriorated indoor coil with multiple refrigerant leaks. Inside of ductwork also has massive amounts mold/biological growth and is unhealthy to breathe. The customer was shown what was found and agreed to speak with a project manager on Saturday after 3pm as he already knew the system needs replacing. The customer did want the capacitor and wiring repaired so they could sleep comfortably tonight. Today’s repair was a bandaid repair.

Troubleshooting

For this job, I met with the homeowner. She already had an HVAC technician and a contractor doing sheet rock work from a previous leak that she had that came in her back door on the main level above the garage and destroyed her floors and all the sheet rock there, the leak that she has is in the ceiling above the garage. Her contractor had the ceiling cut open, and I noticed that there was no pipe or anything near it, and that the meter was completely static. I watched it for over 45 minutes and it never moved. The homeowner had her HVAC technician finally cut the ductwork open and water poured out everywhere. This is not a plumbing leak. This is an HVAC issue.

We were called out to replace the toilet and the flush valve on the upstairs men’s restroom. The old flush valve was recently replaced couple months ago, but the sensor was not working properly. Customer decided to replace it with a standard handle flush valve and since we were already doing that customer wanted the toilet replaced as well. Once we removed the toilet we noticed the flange was broken, so we replaced it with a new one as a courtesy. All of our work was tested thoroughly to ensure there were no further issues with this matter

Replace foyer light with new customer supplied chandelier. Install (3) new picture lights in the dining room, wiring will need to be installed and existing light boxes demo’d. Install boxes and customer supplied picture lights. Install switch in place of dimmer for led dining room lights. (Lights are non dimmable) Replace ceiling fan with customer supplied chandelier in living room. Provide and install wafer led light in place of pendant in kitchen. Troubleshoot outdoor light switch for rope lights not working properly as well as keyless light in basement not working properly. Replace (2) lights in master bedroom closet. Replace ceiling fan with chandelier in master bedroom. Install conduit and gfi outlet in basement on existing wire in basement. (Treadmill and peloton are known to trip gfi outlets)

Basement Lighting (Wafer Lights) I need a full day and a helper for the entire job.

Replace existing fixture with new customer-provided fixture. If Junction box is not present, additional charges apply. The existing chandelier fixture in the front office was carefully removed and replaced with the new fixture. Prior to beginning the work, the customer was advised that an additional charge would apply if a junction box was not present and additional support was required for the installation. Upon removal of the existing fixture, a suitable junction box was found to be present; therefore, the previously discussed additional charge was removed from the invoice. The new chandelier has been installed at the specified height in accordance with the designer’s requirements. Following installation, the fixture was tested to verify proper operation and functionality. Attached to this invoice are two estimates regarding the replacement of the main electrical panels, along with the TE-certified warranty information for your review and records.

Today we replaced the 32 year old pressure reducing valve, capped an unused gas line that was hanging down in the basement ceiling, replaced the whole home and front hose bib shutoffs, and raised a waterline that was hanging down at head height in the basement ceiling. Thank you!

For this job, I did a leak detection for the homeowner. Due to the set up of the plumbing manifold inside of the garage, where the main service comes in and the supply line goes down to feed an old utility room that only has a hose bib on it now being so close together, I was not able to decipher whether the leak is on the main or on the secondary lines. The homeowner said he would like to get all of it fixed anyways, and once that re-piped so he doesn’t have to deal with it anymore. I wrote him up a quote for that. He will go over it with his wife tonight when she gets home and if they have any questions, they will call me. They said they will most likely sign tonight as they want to get this issue resolved and on the schedule as soon as possible.

Replace customer supplied led trims in living room 18’ ceiling

Upon arrival I found the fuse blown on the furnace board. I investigated and found the thermostat at fault. I replaced the thermostat and the system is operating in manufacturer’s specifications. Thanks again for choosing TE Certified!

Performed customer 1 system fall heat Homecare maintenance check Changed (16x25x4) media filter. Gas furnace is 7 years old ac and coil is 7 years old. Checked all operations of system, prior to starting system noticed that heat did not activate. Control board was giving an error code of e04 indicating a rollout or high limit switch was activated. Checked all switches in system found that the blower limit switch in housing had a wire that was not connected causing error code. Re connected and tested furnace and system began to heat properly. Cleaned flame sensor and pressure switch tube port. Cleaned drain line. Everything inside equipment is clean. Recommended adding Uv light to system, customer declined recommendations at this time. Everything for system working properly at this time.

After complete troubleshooting I found The hvac system 2 ton capacity Lennox/Trane is 26 years old r 22 refrigerant type which is already phased out by epa complete system Is in poor maintenance conditions the gas furnace is flooded due to main drain line is clogged and overflow the system NO T E FLOOD PROTECTION PACKAGE NO METAL DRAIN PAN NO SAFETY. Test outdoor condenser unit is in poor condition the condenser coil is highly impacted. DUE TO AGED AND CONDITIONS I RECOMMEND TO UPGRADE COMPLETE SYSTEM. I came out to replace your existing undercabinet lights. The previous ones were not full coverage, so I did install a few more than you had previously. There were 6 two foot lights and 1 18 inch light, as well as a junction box for one set of wires and moving one outlet that was blocking where we wanted to put the light. All of these are color changing and have a button on them to change the warmth and coolness on the lights. There is also a switch on each light in case you would like to turn one of them off. These are integrated LEDs and you should not have to ever change the bulbs in the lights themselves should last 10 to 20 years. The warranty on them is one year. I looked at your ceiling fan lights, and I believe it might be the battery for the remote. Installing undercabinet LED lights

Perform one system home care. Found flame sensor to have green build up on it, sensor is currently functional, but recommend a replacement due to compromised sensor. System is not equipped with a wet switch. Capacitor for the outdoor AC is below manufacture spec, and needs to be replaced. Upon checking refrigerator and pressures found the compression ratio to be 2.02 : 1, this is still within range for Copeland scroll compressors. Recommend replacing the contactor along with the capacitor. This is best practice and are strong steps in preventative maintenance of the AC. Update ; homeowner approved replacing the contactor, the capacitor, and adding a wet switch to the furnace. I tested all the equipment before my departure today. I verified wiring connections were tight.

Replace the damaged surge protector, surge flush kit and breaker for the A panel and install a proper bond jumper for the hot and cold water lines and a new water clamp for the main water line bond and adjust it so that it is bonded within 5’. Demo out the current power for the existing sauna so that it can be removed before the new sauna can be placed.
